A few days ago I posted a notice from the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) announcing a Muslims-only day at Six Flags, and promised a follow-up after I found out more. But before I had a chance to do so, WND did; and just as I suspected, it's not unusual for the park to have days devoted to individual groups, but it is unusual for them to bar all those who are not members of the group. But that is what they will do on the 17th: only Muslims will be allowed into Six Flags. (Thanks to Sparta and Jeffrey Imm for the link.)
The ICNA website boasts, "First Time Ever – All Day – Entire Park Exclusively for Muslims!"The event is designed to "provide entertainment for the entire family!" says the site. Imam Zaid Shakir will lead the Friday afternoon prayers at 2 p.m., the comedy routine "Allah Made Me Funny" will show twice, Comedian Azhar Usman will perform, and "Alhamdulillah, the entire park is reserved for Muslims only!"
The organization expects more than 10,000 Muslims.
Debbie Nauser, vice president of public relations for the Six Flags theme park, confirmed the park would be open only for "Muslims and their friends."
Six Flags has previously hosted other event days, including an annual Passover theme in which the park is predominantly filled with Orthodox Jews, but the venue is still open to outsiders and seasonal ticket holders, and organizers of previous events have never claimed exclusivity of the park....
Daniel Pipes, director of the Middle East Forum, said "it is scandalous that Six Flags – a publicly held corporation whose stock trades on the NYSE – allows such a restriction for access to its property. It's fine for a Muslim organization to sponsor a day at the theme park, it's quite another to proclaim it for Muslims only, as ICNA does. "
The ICNA has drawn much controversy to itself in recent years. WorldNetDaily attended a conference in Orlando, Fla., sponsored in part by the ICNA, which featured a main speaker who voiced empathy and support for suicide bombers, denied Muslims were involved in 9-11, characterized the war on terror as a conspiratorial Zionist plot designed to destroy Islam and Muslims, and blamed attacks on affirmative action on "the rise of the Jewish cracker."
Judicial Watch says the ICNA has ties to Hamas, and terrorism expert Steve Emerson stated: "The ICNA's hatred of the Jews is so fierce that it taunted them with a repetition of what Hitler did to them."
In his book, "American Jihad," Emerson writes: "The ICNA openly supports militant Islamic fundamentalist organizations, praises terror attacks, issues incendiary attacks on Western values and policies, and supports the imposition of Sharia [Islamic code of law]."
Deplorable this exclusion may be. But it is som ething else, which needs to be clearly stated. Such total exclusion of non-Muslims violates both Federal, and most likely, state (New Jersey) civil rights laws. Six Flags is a place of "public accomodastion" and not a private residence. Long ago, in a case involving a restaurant known as Ollie's Barbecue, the constitutionality of Federal civil rights laws to such places as even local restaurants was upheld as an exercise of the Commerce Power, because that restaurant used items that had come to it through interstate commerce (paper cups, hamburger meat, etc.). Six Flags easily meets the requirement of being connected to Interstate Commerce.
It is important that this case be heard now. Non-Muslims should turn up to be admitted to the park that day. If turned away, they should sue, for denial of their civil rights under the equal protection clause of the first and fourteenth amendments. The suit should be directed both at the Muslim sponsoring organization, and at Six Flags. It will be a most salutary civics lesson for both, and a lesson in American Constitutional Law for everyone.

The best way to proceed would be as follows. Let a rainbow coalition be assembled -- good for the cameras. All races, all creeds. Let there be a group of ten, or twenty people: Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs (and please keep on the turban), Confucians all assembled. They may troop off to Six Flags with, or without, a sympathetic Muslim. If such is available, he may wish to enter "with my friends" he will say -- pointing to them all. If none is available, then proceed without him.
Make sure that all major networks, and local ones too, have been alerted. Just like black people sitting down at soda fountains in North Carolina, these non-Muslims are simply going in to enjoy Six Flags. And do come with money, in order to pay the entrance fee, and for all rides and so on -- because if admitted, you will certainly enjoy Six Flags, to the fullest. And if others find that their enjoyment is not quite the same because there are hideous Infidels in the neighborhood -- too bad.
And if turned away? Let it be recorded on film.
And let the lawsuits begin.

You can bet your sweet arse that six flags and its subsidiaries will never get any more money out of me or my family as we feel totally violated.
It may be trap though, just imagine the payback and havoc that would happen if say for instance the earth opened up and swallowed ten thousand muslim pigs,anyhow maybe we could pursuade them to lock the gates and not let them out, or if ........

With 10,000 of them at the park I'll feel much safer taking Airplanes,but on the other hand a non-Muslim that wanted to snuff out some of Allah's children could hijack a local flight and slam into the park during the 2p.m. prayers.
I doubt Muslims would be as tolerant to not blame all American's for the actions of a few
infidels.
A small group of homosexuals should also be present at the event,dressed accordingly and displaying their habitual "in your face" arrogance...
