Here's another story about the loyalty of some Muslims in the US Armed Forces:
On 3 June, Sergeant Abdullah William Webster was sentenced by US court-martial to 14 months imprisonment for refusing to participate in the war in Iraq on the basis of his religious beliefs.
Abdullah Webster is a US citizen who has served in the US army since 1985. He had been based in Bamberg, Germany since 2001 from where he was requested to deploy to Iraq between March and April 2003. In September 2003 he submitted a conscientious objector application to secure his release from military obligations in Iraq on the basis that his religion prohibited him from participating in any aggressive war against, or in any oppression or injustice to, Muslims or non-Muslims. He later withdrew this application after receiving advice that it would not be successful.
Abdullah Webster then submitted an application to be reassigned to non-combatant services. Despite this he was ordered to deploy to Iraq in February 2004. Following his refusal on religious grounds he was charged with failing to obey commands from his superior and missing his Brigade's movements. A further application for conscientious objector status was refused on the grounds that his objection was not to war in general but to the Iraq war in particular. According to US Army Regulations, requests for qualification as a conscientious objector will not be favourably considered when such requests are based on objection to a certain war. A second application is currently being considered by the army.
At the court-martial hearing, Abdullah Webster was sentenced to 14 months imprisonment, a bad conduct discharge, suspension of his salary and loss of pension and other benefits. He had been due to retire from service in 2005. He is currently held at the US base in Mannheim, Germany.

Bukhari:V6B60N475 “Allah’s Apostle became sick and could not offer his prayer. A lady came and said, ‘Muhammad! I think that your Satan has forsaken you, for I have not seen him with you for two or three nights!’ On that Allah revealed: ‘By the night when it darkens, your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor hated you.’” [93:1]
Ishaq:166 “‘You have recited to the people that which I did not bring to you from Allah, and you have said that which He did not say to you.’ The Messenger was grieved and feared Allah greatly. His wet nurse said, ‘I am afraid that this child has had a stroke, so I want to take him back before the result appears.’ She carried him back to Muhammad’s mother and said, ‘I am afraid that ill will befall him, so I have brought him back to you.’ She asked what had happened. I said, ‘I fear that a demon has possessed him.’”
Ishaq:90 “Jewish rabbis, Christian monks, and Arab soothsayers had spoken about the Apostle of Allah before his mission when his time drew near. The rabbis and monks found his description in their scriptures. The Arab occultists had been visited by satans from the jinn with reports which they had secretly overheard before they were prevented form hearing by being pelted with stars.”
Ishaq:91 “The Prophet explained the nature of shooting stars. ‘Allah shut off the satans by these stars which pelted them. So satans tried to steal information, listening in, mingling what they heard with conjecture and false intelligence. They conveyed it to the soothsayers.’”

And we Jinn know not whether harm or evil is the intended fate of all men on earth, or whether the Lord intends to give them some guidance.”
Bukhari:V6B60N332 “The Prophet said, ‘Last night a demon from the Jinn came to me to disturb my prayer, but Allah gave me the power to overcome him. I intended to tie him to one of the pillars of the mosque till the morning so that all of you could see him.’”
Bukhari:V5B58N199 “‘Who informed you Prophet about the Jinn [Demons] when they heard the Qur’an?’ He said, ‘A tree informed me about them.’”
Bukhari:V9B93N650 “Some people asked the Prophet about soothsayers. ‘Allah’s Apostle! Some of their talks come true.’ The Prophet said, ‘That word which happens to be true is what a Jinn snatches away by stealth (from Heaven) and pours it in the ears of the soothsayer with a sound like the cackling of a hen. I gazed, and lo, it was a mass of black ants strewn everywhere, which filled the valley. I had no doubt that they were angels and that the enemy would be routed.”
Ishaq:580 “Our strong warriors obey his orders to the letter. By us Allah’s religion is undeniably strong. You would think when our horses gallop with bits in their mouths that the sounds of demons are among them.”
Tabari IX:121 “The Messenger called me and said, ‘I suspect that Khalid Sufyan is going to attack me. So go to him and kill him.’ ‘O Prophet, describe him to me so that I might know him.’ He said, ‘When you see him he will remind you of Satan.’”
Bukhari:V4B54N491 “Allah’s Apostle said, ‘While you sleep, Satan ties three knots at the back of your head. He blows the following words at each knot, “The night is long so keep sleeping.” If that person wakes up and praises Allah, then one knot is undone. When he performs ablution the second is undone. When he prays, all the knots are undone, and he gets up in the morning lively and gay, otherwise he is dull and gloomy.’”
Bukhari:V7B71N660 “Magic was worked on Allah’s Apostle so that he used to think that he had sexual relations with his wives while he actually had not. That is the hardest kind of magic as it has such an effect. One day he said, ‘O Aisha, do you know that Allah has instructed me concerning the matter I asked Him about? Two men came to me and one of them sat near my head and the other near my feet. The one asked, “What is wrong with this man?” “He is under the effect of magic.” “Who cast the magic spell on him?” “Labid, an Arab ally of the Jews and a hypocrite.” “What material did he use to cast the spell?” “A comb with hair stuck to it.” “Where is that comb and hair?” “In a skin of pollen of a male palm tree kept under a stone in the well of Dharwan.”’ So the Prophet went to that well and took out those things, saying, ‘That was the well shown to me in the dream. Its water looked red and its palms looked like the heads of devils. My companions removed those things.’ I said, ‘Why didn’t you just treat yourself?’ He said, ‘Allah has cured me, and I don’t want to spread evil among my people.’”
Bukhari:V7B71N661 “Magic was worked on Allah’s Apostle so that he began to imagine he had done something although he had not. While he was with me, he invoked Allah for a long period and then said, ‘Aisha! Do you know what Allah has instructed me to do regarding the matter I asked Him about?’ ‘What is that?’ He said, ‘Two men came to me. One said, “What is the disease of this man?” The other replied, “He is under the effect of magic.” “Who has worked magic on him?” “Labid, a Jew from the Zuraiq tribe.”’”
Bukhari:V5B58N200 “I carried a water pot for the Prophet’s ablution and for cleaning his private parts. While following him with the pot, the Prophet turned and said, ‘Who are you?’ ‘I am Abu.’ The Prophet said, ‘Bring me stones in order to clean my private parts, but do not bring any bones or animal dung.’ So I brought some stones, carrying them in the corner of my robe till I put them by his side. When he finished, I walked with him and asked, ‘What can you tell me about the bones and the animal dung?’ He said, ‘They are of the food of Jinns [Devils]. A delegate of Jinns of the city of Nasibin came to me—and how nice those Jinns were—and asked me for the remains of human food. I invoked Allah for them that they would never pass by a bone or animal dung but find food on them.’”

OT: in the interests of humanity & compassion I've been posting definitions of "taqiyyah" and "dhimmitude" at talkleft.com - and for the first time (I think) my posts have been deleted, and now using a second computer, again I've been trashed as a "troll". I've been civil, no name calling, simply sharing information to obviously needy folk. So, I, now -- join Rikki & Son of Infidel. Looks like they are afraid of the TRUTH. Too bad. I love TRUTH.

Someone else at the site today posted definition of "liberal" as "tolerant" of others. Perhaps if I'd advocated beheading because it was my religion? How about re-starting that old stalwart fatwah on Salman Rushdie? Islam means Peace, (through submission,sshhh!!!)

I'd hate to be in the American military these days and have Muslims amongst my squadron/troop. Could I trust them? Do I need to watch them more closely? Will they cover me when I need them, or will they betray me if I come up against another Muslim? I don't think a soldier needs that sort of extra worry and stress.

Funny that the SPY charges were dropped. Obviously, the government didn't feel they had an open and shut case which was reported in the media months ago when this man was picked up. Instead the focus is on him acting improperly. Interesting.

The Government LATER decided that the documents shouldn't have been labeled classified, but HE thought they were classified (they are LABELED as such). So he THOUGHT he was carrying classified documents to Syria. Why was he carrying ANY US documents to Syria, pray tell? Much less documents clearly LABELLED AS CLASSIFIED.
