So what if you get ill and your Health insurance company finds a loophole where it doesn't have to pay out and you die a horrible death. That doesn't happen here. You moron, people don't die horrible deaths because their insurance won't pay for health care. However, from what I hear of socialized medicine in Britain and Canada, people are dying as they wait for diagnostic tests, which sometimes take up to six months or longer due to backlogs and understaffing in health care facilities.

Nobody goes without quality health care in the US unless they choose to reject it. Every state in the nation has indigent health care services and if somebody chooses to forego health care because their insurance won't pay a claim, I guess they love money more than life. Your assertions about the United States are asinine, ignorant, and inaccurate.
But we're not socialists and we believe in personal responsibility. We don't want the government to control our lives from the cradle to the grave; that is not freedom, it is slavery. It is pathetic indeed that your much-touted socialized health care system is unable to meet the demands of the population.What did you expect? When the government controls everything, nothing works right. Ever considered paying a dentist to fix your teeth?
The last thing we want in America is socialized medicine because we know how inefficient government bureaucracies are, how they waste money and provide mediocre or inferior services. We're much smarter than you.
I live in Ontario under social medicine so I will comment. Yes the waits for some diagnostic tests are long, but if your doctor feels that the test is imperative he will admit you to a hospital overnight as in-patients receive tests quicker, so there is a way around the waits for very serious cases if you have a good doctor. Dental care is not covered in any form under the provincial health plan, you either have private health insurance through work (which thankfully we have an excellant plan) or buy private insurance to help out with the costs of dental care. The only people who receive free dental care are people receiving welfare, the working people do not receive any form of dental care free.
