A housekeeper is being kept in an undisclosed location under the supervision of the Philippine Consulate and a Filipino community leader after she fled Wednesday morning to a Boston police station from the Ritz-Carlton Towers residence, where she worked for a family, officials said yesterday.Angelina Paringit, 36, told police she had been physically abused Tuesday night by her employers, who she said withheld her Philippines passport after she refused to turn over her salary to them, said Michael McCarthy, a police spokesman.
''When she refused to hand over the money, they repeatedly hit her in the face and refused to let her leave the room," McCarthy said.
No charges have been filed against the couple, Mohamed Hassan Mufti, 51, and his wife Afaf Mufti, 52. They could not be reached for comment.
Paringit told police the alleged incident was not the first time the Muftis had abused her. McCarthy said the Police Department's Major Case Unit is investigating.

America is their cherished prize, the one they're willing to wait "l00 years" for. They are itching with impatience to gain control of the greatest nation on earth so they can transform it into an Islamic ghetto, a dismal Islamic cesspool ruled by a caliph and his rendition of Shariah. They eagerly envision the instant retrogression that would occur under Islamic domination; the enslavement of women, the abolition of alcohol, sports and gambling; the upheaval of our banking and economic system; the destruction of our democracy, culture and religions. They would have a field day destroying what it has taken over two hundred years to create.

Not two hundred but two thousand years to create. America is a continuation of the great Western project.
This kind of treatment by rich Arab employers is common. One never hears about what happens within Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates. But stories get out; even in the Philippines, girls who live to tell about their experiences sometimes manage to discuss it. The governments of the nationals involved almost never raise the issue; they want the capital the expatriate wage slaves send back.
One can, of course, imagine what goes on from stories such as this. In London, every year or half-year, a similar story is told. A girl escapes from her Arab employers. Perhaps she has been threatened, her passport withheld, told if she says a word she will be taken back to the Middle East and killed (and just how many girls are killed, after sexual enslavement, is not known -- but use your imagination); nonetheless, she decides to make a break for it.
The stories are always the same. 80-hour workweeks. Being forced to scrub over and over, until the overweening mistress and master are satisfied. Punishments -- one girl described having to clean the inside of a toilet with her tongue -- are frequent. Beatings are not uncommon. But what can they do?
Here is this couple, enjoying their lives at the Ritz Towers. Perhaps he is here to look over his "investments." Perhaps he has a relative at Harvard Business School. Perhaps they are just enjoying being out of Saudi Arabia, with their slave -- and slave she is, for they bring her along precisely because she knows no better, and can be treated as a slave -- with the constant threat of being shipped out hovering over her.
Perhaps those Americans -- the staff of the Ritz, the lawyers and accountants and other lackeys who serve them -- find them to be a "very nice couple." Oh yes -- to them. And most profitable too. But those lawyers, lackeys, those people who run the Ritz Towers -- where presumably they have bought a flat -- should take a little walk down the street, into the Common, and see the statue that was erected to the memory of Colonel Shaw, who led the regiment of black freemen in the Civil War, and died, in the campaign to end slavery.
Any qualms, lawyers, lackeys, Ritz Towers officials? Any sense that the couple in question, and all those other rich Arabs who provide such a good business in all the capitals of the West -- to estate agents and investment bankers, to madams from Heidi Fleiss to Madame Claude, to the best restaurants, to those flogging Prada, Hermes, and suchlike baubles -- ought to be treated as the slave-owners they are?
I would like to purchase a TV station in Detroit, a city with a large Muslim community.
The programming would be "All Islam, All the Time."
It would broadcast, from time to time, all the available video tape of 11 September as a reminder to people of what we can expect more of. Also interviews with Iranians and others who have fled the Mullahs and can provide first hand and eye-witness accounts of the atrocities Islam commits daily against its own people, interviews with recovering Muslims explaining why they left Islam, ALL the graphic and uncensored videos of the martyrdom of Daniel Pearl and all the rest, live broadcast with simultaneous translation of the Friday sermons of Wahabi clerics, documentary film showing what really goes on under PLO control including the use of clearly marked UN ambulances and other vehicles for carrying out terrorist attacks on schools, hospitals and communities in Israel, graphic video of the results of suicide bombers and so on.
No editorializing of any kind.
Let Islam speak for itself through its actions on TV, possibly carried by cable as well, in bleeding colour.
The bonus is that this material could be viewed in Canada as well.
Or, with a smaller budget, perhaps just a streaming video ‘virtual’ station on the internet.
Surely that would draw some attention to the real crisis we face.
