The Islamic Society of Boston, under pressure from groups including the Anti-Defamation League, publicly distanced itself yesterday from a trustee and treasurer accused of writing "virulently anti-Semitic" newspaper articles.In a letter to Mayor Thomas M. Menino, the group said it has appointed a board of directors to propose a new governance structure and apologized for failing to condemn the offensive remarks sooner.
The trustee, Dr. Walid Fitaihi, was the author of an article in an Arabic-language newspaper that called Jews "murderers of prophets." He also wrote that Jews would be punished for their "oppression, murder, and rape of the worshipers of Allah," according to English translations. Fitaihi remains on the board of trustees, which oversees the group's real estate assets.
The society is building a $22 million mosque and cultural center in Roxbury, on land sold by the Boston Redevelopment Authority for $175,000.
"We unequivocally condemn all hateful, insensitive, and divisive statements," the Islamic Society said in its letter. "Furthermore, we have expressed these sentiments to Dr. Fitaihi in writing."
Of course, another problem is that much of what Fitaihi said comes from the Qur'an: see Suras 2:62-65, 5:59-60, 7:166, 9:30, 98:6, etc. Will the Islamic Society repudiate that anti-Semitism?

According to that statement, the society accepted Fitaihi's position that the article was "not intended to incite hatred against Jews.""
So, Fitaihi has not been removed, excuses are offered for his comments: the Israelis are partially to blame and Fitaihi did not 'intend' to incite hatred. How does the Society know Fitaihi's intent? I thought they had just sent this repudiation to Fitaihi in writing? Did he respond already? How do they know he is sincere? Of course, these are ludicrous questions. The Society and Fitaihi are on the same team and the letter in nothing but a smoke screen. This is not even a real 'verbal repudiation' of what Fitaihi said; and what has the Society actually done? Nothing. The 'condemnation' is obviously taqiyaa; the Islamic Society of Boston is going through the motions to sweep this under the rug.
Obvious taqiyya, deception, high probabilities (actually near certainty) that this Society has at the very least strong ideological affiliations with Bin Laden-ites. The mosque should be shut down by the federal government now. This disingenuous response, no action at all, the probabilities that millions are being spent to further jihadist ideology, the nature of the threat of Islam jihad (mass indiscriminate death of innocent people): all these facts obligate the city of Boston and the federal government to shut this mosque down to safeguard the safety of the citizenry.

WASHINGTON – On Tuesday, Democratic Senator Mark Dayton said he has closed his Washington office because a top-secret intelligence report made him fear for his staff's safety. Although federal law enforcement officials insisted there is no new intelligence indicating the Capitol complex is a target, Dayton has opted to close his office in the Russell Senate Office Building across the street from the Capitol while Congress is in recess through Election Day. His staff will work from his Minnesota office and in Senate space off Capitol Hill.
According to news reports, Dayton said he could not give details of the intelligence report, which he said Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., presented to senators at a briefing two weeks ago. Federal officials from Frist through the FBI through Brian Roehrkasse, a Homeland Security Department spokesman, however, said the department had no intelligence indicating al-Qaeda intends to target any specific U.S. locations. Nonetheless, Dayton said he would advise people from his home state to avoid Capitol Hill until after the Nov. 2 election.

I thought of some strategies to win the war on terror. I'll take a victory of President Bush as given.
1. The President must rename the enemy from terrorism to militant Islam or Jihad.
2. The implementation of an "Islam containment policy". This means supporting states that have a war against Islamic radicals (Israel, Russia ....).Support of Isolationist Secular forces in states with a Muslim majority (e.g. The Turkish army, Pakistan's General Musharraf...)
Push for reform in the heart of Islamism (The middle east, but specially Saudi Arabia).
3. The president must fully call forward an army of Christian missionaries to evangelize the Muslim world. It should work with friendly governments to ensure they carry out their work successfully.

* Muslims who disseminate hate-speech against Jews and non-Muslims should be charged under the existing anti-discrimination laws (why hasnt this happened already? There are countless examples of vile racism and bigotry mouthed by Muslims living in every western country)
* Islamic 'clerics' must no longer be allowed to get away with white-washing the koran. They should be questioned very specifically regarding the hate speech and instructions to murder and rape that are contained in this book, and no longer given a free pass to 'interpret' verses as they wish.
People everywhere need to truly understand the threat posed by this cult pretending to be a religion. The only way to do this is to make sure that the tenets of Islam are well understood by every non-Muslim.

Yours are good ideas for the US. But in the rest of the western world multicultural laws prohibit discussion of the evils of Islam.

Canada has laws that were specifically written to address the dissemination of hate and Canadian courts have made some convictions, most notably Ernst Zundel, a notorious Holocaust denier who was booted from the US after he fled Canada and returned to his native Germany, where they were going to try him as well. He is now back in Canada trying to claim refugee status.
Obviously, nobody has tested the law vis the Koran or mullahs spewing hate in mosques and madrassahs, but that's not to say that if someone had the resources to file a complaint, that it wouldn't be heard. You'd probably need a sympathetic lawyer to assist with preparing evidence, some credible witnesses to attest to what the Koran contains. Similar, with mullahs preaching -- you'd need someone to go into a mosque wearing a wire.
Hmmmmm. Now that I think about it... ...sounds like a job for Dr. Ali Sina, the publisher of FreedomFaith.org.
