At a history class, a professor mockingly tells a female Jewish student she cannot possibly have ancestral ties to Israel because her eyes are green.During a lecture, a professor of Arab politics refuses to answer a question from an Israeli student and military veteran but instead asks the student, "How many Palestinians have you killed?"
At a student meeting on the topic of divestment from Israel, a Jewish student is singled out as responsible for death of Palestinian Arabs.
Those scenes are described by current and former students interviewed for an underground documentary that is causing a frisson of concern to ripple through the Morningside Heights campus of Columbia University, where the incidents took place.
The film, about anti-Israel sentiment at the school, has not yet been released to the public, but it has been screened for a number of top officials of Columbia, and talk of its impact is spreading rapidly on a campus where some students have complained of anti-Israel bias among faculty members.
"The movie is shocking," one Columbia senior, Ariel Beery, said.
"It is shocking to see blatant use of racial stereotypes by professors and intimidation tactics by professors in order to push a distinct ideological line on the curriculum," Mr. Beery, who was interviewed for the film, said.
The film is the creation of the David Project, a 2-year-old group based in Boston that advocates for Israel and is led by the founder of the American Anti-Slavery Group, Charles Jacobs. The David Project, which is refusing to make the film public, has screened it for Barnard College's president, Judith Shapiro, and Columbia's provost, Alan Brinkley, according to sources.
If this documentary reveals the truth then it should be made public. Hiding the truth never changes evils(e.g. anti-semitism), it only perpetuates them. The fact this project involves Charles Jacobs means it has moral and ethical validity as far as I am concerned. Since this guy has enough ethical inner strength to stand up for the freedom of slaves (which is currently rare at the moment e.g. the UN) then I trust him in whatever he does in standing up against the oppression of Jews.
I would love to see the documentary. I am sure everyone here would atleast. I am sure the antisemites at university want the documentary burried or burnt in a book burning exercise.
Universities are with this type of people. I'm sure that most parents are totally unaware of how their chidren are being indoctrinated in this manner. They have been given access to the minds of some of the brightest minds in the West as well as to the minds of our grammar school children.
This occurrence is more dangerous than "terrorism." While our attention has been rivited on bombings, WMDs, nuclear weapons, etc., we have quietly been invaded and are at the point of being conquered from within because of our lack of vigilance. I hope it's not too late.
This echoes something I witnessed the otherday on another forum, the way the left have gone full circle in their uncompromising biasness toward palestine, so much so that they have become just as anti-semitic as the nazis. It is the left where they most hateful, racist comments,and snide accusations come from, especially directed at jews (well "zionists"), and it's really scary. What you say in the second paragraph is true. We will be conquered without them ever to have fired a shot. As to the first paragraph, I used to be a dhimmi/PCer/hater-of-America person, only because our gov't/teachers hate your guts. It was only after I didn't want to kill Jews, that I realized that Nazism was still alive and well.
This is abhorrent. And shows how truly evil Islam is. Insinuating itself into our hallowed halls of learning, infecting our youth's minds with their hatred. Can you imagine sending your kid to university and have them villified and abused in this manner? You work hard and pay huge fees to give your kids an advanced education to help them in life, and while there, your child gets this sort of disgusting treatment.
Would any non-Muslim professor be allowed to ask a Muslim student: "How many infidels have you murdered?" I doubt it. That professor would be treated like the worst criminal, probably even thrown off campus (if they managed to stay alive that long). But these putrid hate-filled professors who practise the trendy and acceptable Jew-hatred (disguised as anti-Zionism) are allowed and encouraged. What is wrong with our world? And how did it get to this point and so quickly?

It could expect a coalition of Islamofascists, anarchists, feminists, homosexuals, Marxists, and the just-plain-bored to shut down any city anywhere near a major university with demonstrations. Also, few of these academic tenured radicals are as dumb as Sami al-Arian was--and considerably more cowardly.
(facetious) Actually, what I'm waiting to see is conservative students, fed up with the treatment described above, sitting in in faculty offices, maybe parading a few profs in dunce caps, and behaving the same way the tenured radicals did when they were sophomores (they still are: sophos moros is Greek for learned fool).
