PARIS, October 19 (IslamOnline.net) - Swiss Muslim intellectual Tariq Ramadan is at the center of a vile campaign by rightist French magazines and newspapers, which accuse him of spearheading what they called the political Islam drive in Europe.Seeking to blemish his reputation after he had been catapulted into the limelight as a paradigm for moderate Muslims, L'Express magazine ran a front-page photo of Ramadan titled, "The man who wants to establish Islamism in France".
The ferocious attack came hard on the heels of Ramadan's success in grabbing the attention of the third round of the European Social Forum, which concluded on October 17.
Ramadan took part in three fringe symposiums, calling on Muslims in Europe to fully integrate into their societies, stop casting in the victim mould and get rid of the minority complex.
L'Express further published excerpts from Ramadan's lectures and seminars recorded on audio tapes, branding them as an outspoken call for Islamizing French society.
It also quoted Ramadan as encouraging Muslims to respect European constitutions so long as they were in line with Islam.
"It means that Ramadan has no respect for European constitutions," the magazine said.
Well, it should be clear to anyone with any knowledge of Islam that that caveat -- "so long as they were in line with Islam" -- is huge enough to negate the respect he calls for altogether.
The caveat "so long as they were in line with Islam" negates his previous statements. It is incumbent upon us all to explain and to continue to explain what that nine-word phrase means to us all.
Ramadan's views are clear. And they are no different from the standard advice given at Muslm websites. Fit in, burrow in, obey whatever laws of whatever (interchangeable) Infidel land in the dar al-harb you happen to be living in, and happen even to acquire citizenship in, and whose women you may happen to marry for the sake of that citizenship or other temporary but useful benefits (and how easy it is to woo and win those innocent Infidel girls, so useful in so many different ways). Obey whatever laws do not contradict Islam (why not, after all?). But where those ridiculous Infidel laws do contradict Islam, then of course you must not obey them.
Take part in the country's politics in order to increase Muslim power. Present a pleasing and amiable face to Infidels -- do not express the contempt and hostility you feel. Talk about engaging in a "dialogue." Be as outwardly unthreatening as you can. A smiling face in the lands of the Infidels, as long as the ranks of the Muslims are not yet sufficient, can do far more than the glowering face of Al-Zarqawi.
That is the message of Tariq Ramadan. Does it satisfy you? Does it give you a warm feeling that in the end all will be right? Do you now believe, more than you did before, that it was wrong to keep him out, and that by all means he should be admitted to turn on his charm from an academic post in the middle of America?
Apparently, a good many French people have finally concluded otherwise. And the notion that those exposing Tariq Ramadan are "right-wing" is absurd. The magazine L'Express is akin to the Italian Panorama, or the American Time or Newsweek. Hardly "right-wing." If even the French can now regard Tariq Ramadan as the danger he is, if even they can analyse and see through his smiling but sinister message, cannot Americans permit themselves to go and do likewise?

A female viewpoint here - Ramadan is drop dead gorgeous. What has that got to do with it, you may ask. Well quite a lot. And I think it's deliberate - the Taqiyya-totty approach.
Don't get me wrong, I think he's a piece of shit. George Galloway was pretty hot stuff in his day (before my time) and he is evil incarnate.
However, if the Musim taquiyya merchants are going to get the Western women's vote they have to sharpen up a bit on the looks front. Look at what's on offer at the moment - hideous, straggly bearded, one-armed, hook-handed, one-eyed, inarticulate morons and ...er...Richard Reid.

a University teacher feels all Israelis in Canada that are over 18 are the enemies of the palestinians and targets for Jihad by suicide bombers. The RCMP is looking into his hate-speech that aspouses the killing of Israelis over 18 because of the Military service they were in.
Two articles will be in the Canadian papers tomorrow and just watch how CAIR squirms on how to deny these statements when Canadian Muslims financially support the C.I.C. .

The RCMP is getting a copy of the show and believe it or not,Mr.Elmasry is still on staff and the University where he teaches,the Palestinian student body there is just as vocal as the Concordia thugs that terrorized the University into banning Israeli speakers in the auditorium.
The C.I.C. has been accused by another Islamic group of receiving funding from the Saudis to run seminars on Whahabbism style Islam in Canadian Mosques and they are in bed with CAIR when it comes to demanding Shariah-Law in Canada.
I believe this is the REAL Islam and the true teachings from the Quran that the West is being decieved with,any attack on Jews or Synagogue's in Canada is quickly denied by Muslims leaders since the Quran forbids it according to them. A Quebec Jewish School was fire-bombed by a Syrian immigrant and her son,Muslims denounced the attack and denied any MiddleEast connection even after a letter was found at the scene refering to Palestine and the Jews,and even after these MiddleEast immigrants were arrested.
The denial and paranoia is amazing,lets see how Ibrihim Hooper at CAIR explains this away as comments by a person that's not a "True" Muslim.

Could it just be possible that the overwhelming surge of anti-jihadi opinion amongst common folk -EU natives - has finally begun to find some outlet? In a proper market system, if such a huge opportunity presented itself, right wing media woul create itself and flourish with impunity.
