Israel arrests 13 UN workers for links to terrorism

Backing up David Bedein's story here. From The Telegraph, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:

Israel has arrested 13 United Nations employees over "suspected links to terrorism", an Israeli army officer has said. The names and job titles of the UN staff members were not revealed and it was not clear when they were arrested.

Sorry for the off-topic post, but I could use some help. I have been banned from a pro-jihad site for quoting the Bible. The site (a blog) is abbaskadhim.blogspot.com. It is run be a Muslim accademic at Berkely and is devoted to attacks on the US, particularly with regard to Iraq. Any nonmuslims who post there are propagandised about the "religion of peace" and any who object to the party line are called antimuslim racists and banned.

One poster has tried to start a discussion of taqiyya and has been attacked as not understanding anything about Islam.

Please visit the site and join in.

Thanks.

Since there are many Islamic countries, how can any of their UN representatives be trusted? They all belong to the umma, which comes first.

Palestinians have a odd paradoxical irony here in their "Freedom-fighting",once they attain "Statehood" the U.N. will be forced to list it as a "Terrorist" producing Nation and be subject to sanction and possible multi-National armed force invasion.
This will mean the almost 8 billion a year the USA gives Palestinians will be cut off and border patrols will stop any new weapons from entering Palestine.

Good-luck Arafat, there's a missille with your name on it and aimed at your butt, once the terrorist State is established, you'll meet Allah real soon.

What's even worse in Canada right now is that the ex-Prime Minister of Israel was banned from speaking at Concordia University because Arab and Palestinian student groups vandalized and terrorized the University when the last Israeli tried to hold a conference there, and now the risk of further terrorism by this non-citizen thugs
that think they're in the Middle East in an Islamic Country.

I no longer want a penny of my taxes fund the school and the foreign terrorists can pay full tuition plus the costs connected to their riots
and antisemitic behaviour. I no longer care if Arabs and Muslims get offended, some comments are meant to be taken personally to show the un-acceptible action while being a visitor in a democracy.
MiddleEast sutdents should be either banned or sign a document showing they're insured to cover damage to property and persons, don't like it...then leave or don't come here. If I wanted to live in Palestine I'd move there,I don't want car bombs or children suicide murderers on my bus.

NO ISLAM - KNOW PEACE

The European countries, infatuated with Arab Moslems because of their howling of victimhood, and the UN with its heavy Islamic contingent and its camp followers are enemies of Israel. Expulsion of all UN agencies and employees from Israel and from Israeli territories occupied by Arabs would remove the cover under which Arab terrorists have been operating for much too long.

The U.N. now certainly bears no resemblance to the organization that Eleanor Roosevelt, Rene Cassin, and others thought they were founding after World War II. The major impetus for its founding was the desire to avoid a repetition of what had just been experienced. Despite the best efforts of many people, what has happened in the past nearly four decades is a steady increase in the power not of the Soviet bloc, which has not existed for a decade, but of a bloc of Muslim Arab nations -- roughly, the 22 members of the Arab League, together with a number of non-Arab states such as Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, that slavishly follow the Arab line -- who now control the agenda of the U.N. and its constituent bodies. Thus it is that 1/3 of the time of the U.N. is now devoted to that most pressing of problems, the mighty empire of Israel, that exists on 0.2% of the total land mass of the Arab states, and that is guilty of attempting to defend itself against a relentless Jihad. This monomaniacal attention to Israel means that there is far less attention paid to: 1) Muslim genocides, from East Timor and the Moluccas and Ambon to southern Sudan 2) Muslim persecution of non-Muslims in many places, from northern Nigeria to Egypt (the Copts) to the Arab Peninsula (where Christians and Hindus among foreign workers are persecuted for daring to observe, in however minor a manner, the rituals of their own religions)3) on-going Muslim campaigns or religiously-inspired Jihads, against Jews everywhere, against Hindus in Kashmir (and against Hindu and Sikh and Christian civilians wherever they can be found, both in Pakistan and in Bangladesh) 4) the destruction of the natural environment -- since all environmental questions are potentially threatening to the Arabs, who wish for the world to remain a heavy user of fossil fuels 5) nuclear proliferation among states that are run by despots, and peopled by primitives who cannot be trusted -- unlike, say, Israel, or Australia, or South as opposed to North Korea -- not to use them except in self-defense).

A series of American ambassadors have commented on the grotesque anti-Israel scenes in the General Assembly, and the lopsided and absurd votes. But what they have failed to notice is that this is not isolated, but part of the pro-Islamic policy of the U.N. It is not a matter only of the votes of diplomats, but of the personnel at every level, from the sinister philo-Khomeini, viciously anti-israel Edward Mortimer (google "Edward Mortimer" and "jihadwatch" for previous discussions of this man, who should be made the target of investigations and, one hopes, will be seen for both his raptures over Khomeini, and the record of his endorsement of Lenny Brenner and the "Zionist-Nazi" conspiracy theory, as not fit to work at the U.N.), to those who staff the UNRWA -- some 13 of whom, one sees, have at last been arrested by the solicitous, hyper-delicate, scrupulous Israelis, who are at long last beginning to act with a minimum sense of what decency and self-defense require.

The U.N. did nothing, despite the superb work of Gaspard Biro, the Special Rapporteur for Southern Sudan, about the 2 million Christians and animists in the south, killed or starved to death by northern Arabs. It has done, and will do nothing, in Darfur -- google "Darfur" and "jihadwatch" for previous predictions on this -- because the Arab League is against anything being done. It wants the northern Arab Muslims to be allowed to empty out the Darfur region, so that the Arab Muslims -- who are more "equal" than all other Muslims -- will have that land (for it is land, not the people, who matter to the Muslim Arabs -- just as they regard the "land" of Western Europe as belonging to them, by right, and not to the indigenous non-Muslims who built whatever civilization Western Europe possesses).

This new attitude of the Israelis is welcome, but it is hardly enough. One hopes that the United States will cease to think that its responsibilities to the non-Muslm world end with vetoing this or that unjust anti-Israel resolution. That is only a beginning. A sensible policy requires that the Ameridan government every day, make efforts to promote, among Infidel countries and peoples, an understanding of how the U.N. has been infiltrated, and essentially commandeered, by the forces of Islam -- the Islamintern, it might be called. And then to minimise the power, the respect, the legitimacy still accorded to the U.N., this most corrupt and corrupting of institutions. And finally, it must seek not to do the impossible, to truly reform this organization, but to treat it as it should be treated -- as hopeless, as useless, as irrelevant as was the League of Nations when confronted with the Nazi-Fascist attacks in Spain, Mussolini's invasion of Abyssinia, Nazi Germany's annexation of the Saarland and re-militarization of the Rhineland.
The League, this Societe des Nations, failed completely, and it closed up shop. The U.N. has, over the past 30 years, failed almost completely (see Romeo Dallaire on Rwanda and Darfur in today's New York Times), and will continue to fail. Unlike the League of Nations, it will not be closed down. But it should be ignored, or mocked, and shown for what it is -- so that the free Infidel nations, now locked in a contest to preserve their own identities against a Muslim world that cannot stand the success, or the superiority, of non-Muslims when Islam is, by their lights, supposed to dominate and rule everywhere, and has effectively allowed the worst and craziest elements not only to exist, but to prevail.

In order for Western Europe -- and for Israel first -- to save themselves, it should be obvious that large-scale expulsions of those who do not believe in Western civilization, and wish only to subjugate the non-Muslims among whom they live -- will have to be expelled back to the Dar al-Islam. And that can only take place with a clear understanding of what is going on -- and it is not, pace some, merely a "war on terror." The U.N. is not the place for clarity, or coherence, on these matters. In 1950, or even 1960, or even 1965, this was not evident -- and decent people could still thrill at the idea of the U.N. But there is no excuse now, for anyone to regard it with anything other than suspicion and contempt - and to see it, rightly, as an organ that promotes, by omission and commission, the furtherance of the world-wide Jihad, in all of its local manifestations and in its larger goals.

There is no doubt that the Czech Republic and Slovakia are much more secure psychologically and militarily because of the immediate post Second World War expulsions of the Germans from the Sudetenland. Could the State of Israel do the same with a leader at the helm who sends mixed messages and treats settlers like pawns or with near half the State banking on the triumph of peaceful moslem hypocrites over the terrorists?

Republicans Accuse Moore of Vote Bribery

Tue Oct 5, 7:58 PM ET Entertainment - AP

LANSING, Mich. - Republicans say filmmaker Michael Moore should be prosecuted for offering underwear, potato chips and Ramen noodles to college students in exchange for their promise to vote.

Time and time again I've warned all of you about this; but no, you said it was the real pasta we had to watch. And now you're sorry.

An Israeli, a Frenchman, and a Texan are in the jungle and captured by cannibals. The chief asks each for his last request. The Frenchman gets a glass of wine, the Texan, a steak, and the Israeli asks to have his butt kicked.

"Well, it's a ridiculous request," says the cannibal chief, aiming a foot at the obligingnly presented Iraeli tokhes.

After being kicked, the Israeli pulls out an Uzi and sprays the tribe.

After escaping to a safe distance in the Jungle, the Texan angrily asks the Israeli, "Why didn't you do that when they captured us?"

"What?" Says the Israeli. "And you want me to risk getting censured by the UN?"

*****************

Two young women grad students from a presitgious social sciences program at an even more prestigious American university og into the jungle to study women's organizations among a certain cannibal tribe. Their hosts immediately strip them down and thrust them into a large pot.

"Well," sighs one of the bluestockings as the marinade starts heating up, "the colonialists DID insult their sacred traditions..."

Well, well, well who would have thought it???

The UN aiding islamic terrorists!!! How unexpected
....NOT!!!

Before the Iraq war the UN made it perfectly clear whose side they were going to be on, with all their pussying around with a tyrant like Saddam.

Then they go and allow Gaddaphi a place in the ranks of the UN, with an Iranian politician on the cards.

Jesus, what next, Osama Bin Laden as heir to Koffi Annan's throne???

Norseman:

I don't know if you're still reading on this thread, but I suggest reporting/complaining to the "muslim academic's" departmental supervisor, Dean of the appropriate College, all the university higher-ups, etc. Write a letter with the "academic's" name in the subject line, and include anti-American quotes from the blog. Literally flood the entire system with your information. You can follow up with phone calls if you like. Then send copies of everything to all the news shows at Fox News. We did this to Hatem Bazian at Berkeley and it wound up getting media attention.

What is so surprising about this report. I would like to see a protest against the UN, a very large protest, thousands of people. THe UN is a sad underground mafia. Even when the world sees the guilty in the UN, it is ignored! I am so sick of hearing how we need the UN. I say Drop them and count me in for any protest!
