More than third of U.S. Muslims see war on Islam

They could do a great detail to keep this from being a war on Islam, by being more cooperative with anti-terror efforts, and by working to eradicate terrorism from the Islamic community. The fact that they see it as a war on Islam indicates that they are taking at least some cues from radical preachers, which does not bode well. From the Washington Times, with thanks to Ali Dashti:

More than one-third of American Muslims believe that the U.S. war on terrorism is really a war on Islam, according to survey information released yesterday by researchers at Georgetown University.

Thirty-eight percent of American Muslims polled said they believe the U.S.-led invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, and the tensions with Iran and Syria, reflect a foreign policy that is targeting Islamic countries and Muslims themselves.

As Robert has said, Muslims could do much to prevent an escalation of tension between Muslims and non-Muslims by being more cooperative and by being better neighbors. This means not insisting on being a "special class" to get privileges that aren't given to others immigrants or citizens, or even practitioners of other religions, simply because of the demands of their religion.

History has demonstrated that Muslims have used this same tactic against each and every culture with which they have interacted. How, then, can they believe that Westerns won't feel put upon? Do they suppose that Westerners should meekly roll over and allow them to steamrolling tactics for their advantage? I think not!

There is always an underlying threat, either implicit or explicit, when dealing with Muslims:

1) Say "Islam is a religion of peace, or we will kill you."

2) Don't say anything ill of Islam, or else the 'peaceful moderate Muslims' might get violent (a la Akyol of a few days ago).

Islam has been at war with the rest of the world for 1350 years. When they were strong, Muslims did not care one whit what anyone else thought about them. Now that they are weak, they want us to believe that Islam is 'being hijacked', etc.

There are no moderate Muslims. Those that do not act in Jihad (the 'moderates') are mere worker ants for those that will eventually act. Once there are enough Muslims in one place, there is trouble.

To paraphrase Hugh: why should we endanger the future of our civilization by hoping that 'moderates' will stay that way, or that their children or grandchildren will?

Furthermore, Islam should not be given any priviliges that it does not provide others in Saudi Arabia (the land of the two holy places). In essence, this will mean Islam is forbidden here, which is fine with me.

Islam has declared war on us. We must fight it in every way possible, including that of
Ali Sina
(FaithFreedom)
who says, "he wants to kill Islam".

Ethelred

Thirty-eight percent of American Muslims polled said they believe the U.S.-led invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, and the tensions with Iran and Syria, reflect a foreign policy that is targeting Islamic countries and Muslims themselves

.....Targeting Islamic countries and muslims themselves....Hmmmm!!!I wonder why that could be then!?!?!?!

If it was a war on islam, we wouldn't be pussying around bombing Iraq, and fighting the insurgency, taking every care to avoid civilian deaths. We'd be rounding up muslims executing everyone that so much looked at us funny, demolishing mosques, burning copies of the koran, and converting their kids to christianity, judaism and atheism.... Now that's a war on islam you dorks!!!

Just how does anyone engage in a "war" against a particular religion, anyway?? Gone are the days when the Church could easily eradicate a pre-Columbian spiritual system or round up the Cathars and burn them.

What Muslims can't abide is any criticism of the bad things wrought by the practice of Islam, and so deem any criticism "war on Islam."

I fear November 2. Something tells me they're planning to disrupt the electoral process. They've waited nearly three years without as much as firecracker going off. The muslim community in the U.S. is harbouring a secret army, the next attacks will set off a constitutional crisis that will see America redefine its political structure. No government can survive the absurdities of what's going on today, in the event of a future attack how does anyone think the American people will react when they see their nation guard deploying to defend muslim enclaves. What direction will the tank barrels be facing? Muslims have curiously settle in border communities, perhaps for the quick refugee run to canadastan.

It is what it is.....Perhaps if the Muslims lived in the correct century, things would be easier on them.

Maybe American Muslims will feel better about
their adopted country when public schools
nationwide adopt the curriculum in a Virginia
town, where Muslim children come into the
classroom and teach non-Muslims about Ramadan,
Allah and the Koran. Maybe those questioning
Muslims will feel even better when they find
out that it's OK to teach Islam in a school,
but a kid probably would probably be disciplined
for bringing a Bible to class.

If the Muslim children who want to teach the
infidels about Islam, then to be fair and
balanced, they should include discussions
about stoning adulterers, honor killings and
other tenets of the wonderful Shari'a law.

If I lived in any state that allowed Islam in the curriculum, my child would carry a Bible to school every day until a 14th Amendment challenge was intitiated.

Equal means Equal.

(I would make certain that's what it means by first contacting a Lawyer)

Why is the truth about islam not taught ?
If we are this frightened of islam now, that we do not teach the horror of islam, how will it improve as the moslem percentage of the population, especially in Canadastan, continues to skyrocket.
mo was an evil bugger, and islam is pure mo - how can we let these fucks run the world.
We must tell our children the truth, and attempt to leave them a better world- ie a mo-less world with islam gutted, defunct, a bad ( make that terrible ) memory.

More than 3rd of US Muslims think we're in a war on Islam. Um ... Do we care what they think?

I agree dby - the true nature of Islam - including a truthful and detailed description of Mo's life should be told. To both non-muslims and muslims alike.

I think people would be horrified by the type of person Mo was - much worse then Hitler or Stalin even thought to be.

Judge in Michigan Gives Democrats Another Coup for Vote Fraud
Another Clinton appointee, another victory for vote fraud.
U.S. District Judge David Lawson today ignored the Department of Justice's reasoning and decreed that Michigan must count provisional ballots even when cast in the wrong precinct(s). The ruling against fair elections is a major victory for the Democratic Party and the Democrat group NAACP, which had sued for the fraud-friendly fiat.
Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land, a Republican, had noted that only votes cast in the correct precinct were legal and should count.
In a a friend-of-the-court brief, attorneys for the Department of Justice wrote: "American elections have long been precinct-based. A well-understood premise of such a system is that a voter must appear at the correct polling place - the one to which the voter was assigned, and on whose rolls the voter appears - or else the voter will not be able to vote."
Lawson, like fellow fraud-fostering U.S. District Judge James Carr in Ohio, is a Clinton appointee. The Democrat-run Florida Supreme Court, however, ruled yesterday against such abuses of provisional ballots. A judge in Colorado yesterday issued a mixed ruling

For the most part, I support President Bush’s handling of the war on terror and his domestic policy, but that’s not the main reasons why I am voting for him.
My vote for President Bush is as much a vote in opposition to Sen. John Kerry.

Hi folks ,
Rikki here just testing out my new nickname (well it's my old one actually.....until some wanker at LGF copied it).

Catherine, I have many years of association with American military personnel and its people, I was in the Canadian military, participated in many exercises with the 6th Fleet and ASW operations for the USS Ranger in the Atlantic during the cold war. Most of my relatives who reside did tours of duty in the US Navy. My comments weren't about being personally afraid, but a concern for the Republic's ability to withstand a improbable absurdity - that is being forced to defend muslim communities that are harbouring the secret army.

Should there be an attempt by islamic terrorists to disrupt the election, the question is; how will the state respond? I'm sure you'd agree that the American people have no problem in defending themselves or their communities. The nutty part comes when the state's institutions and security apparatus mobilizes.

What will drive the agenda? PC and a suicidal left wing vision that America will prove its tolerance by not only allowing but protecting a hostile alien threat to reside on it shores, just to make some kind of crazy statement that only satisfies France and the UN or to provide protection against a community who most certainly deserves to be interred or immediately deported to their point of embarcation.

Catherine, is it really "homeland" security or "government" security? Only the American people will be able to judge for a certainty, count on it, the next attacks will be the cliche's apocalypse.

I wish there was a war against Islam, a real war. I'd like to see Mecca and Medina bombed for a start.

More than a third of US Muslims feel there is a war being perpetrated against Islam, eh (yes, I'm a Canadian)? And they point to Afghanistan (the Al Qaeda hornets' nest) and Iraq (which terrorized its citizens and sponsored terror aborad) as proof. Well, even paranoids have enemies.

How many conflicts currently raging around the globe involve Muslims warring against virtually every other non-Muslim nation in existence, and Muslim sect vs Muslim sect. A year and a half ago, Amos Oz figured that amounted to about 25 out of 28 active conflicts. It would be fairer to say the reverse: that the world is under attack by Muslims.

As for US Muslims cooperating with investigations, etc., to address the source of concern -- when you believe that "the other" is your inferior in varying degrees, to be held in contempt until they convert to Islam, and act accordingly, maybe you are inviting a bit of the hostility and suspicion. Toss in the the aiding and abetting of jihadists that has gone on inside the US and abroad by US Muslims and who do you have to blame for the alleged excess scrutiny.

Catherine, is it really "homeland" security or "government" security? Only the American people will be able to judge for a certainty, count on it, the next attacks will be the cliche's apocalypse.

ST. PETERSBURG, Russia (CNN) -- One day after President Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a landmark nuclear arms reduction treaty, the men continued to tout a new era of cooperation between their nations.
"The treaty we signed says a lot about nuclear arms. It speaks about the need for peace," Bush told a packed auditorium Saturday at St. Petersburg University.
"But it also says the Cold War is over. And America and Russia need to be and will be friends for the good of the world."
Under the treaty, nuclear arsenals will be cut by roughly two-thirds over 10 years. (Full story)
Bush arrived at the Kremlin in Moscow on Thursday, his second stop in a weeklong European tour.
The war on terrorism and trade were two key topics discussed by the leaders, they told the crowd.
"We've got a new war to fight together. We're joined to fight against blood-thirsty killers," Bush said.
"These people hate freedom. They hate multi-ethnic societies. They can't stand religion."

Violence greets Clinton visit
BBC
Thousands of left-wing protesters chanting anti-American slogans have clashed with police and set dozens of shops ablaze at the start of a delayed state visit by US President Bill Clinton to Athens.

Riot police used teargas against thousands of left-wing protesters who had gathered in the central Syndagma Square outside the parliament in Athens, after a small group threatened to storm the building.

As the crowd fled through surrounding streets, fires were started in rubbish bins and some shop windows smashed.
He also reminded journalists that he had been trying to generate a peace initiative between Greece and Turkey, over the divided island of Cyprus.

"The Greek people and the government should be quite At least three people were reported to have blood on their heads.

The trouble, which the authorities blamed on anarchists, broke out almost exactly as Mr Clinton touched down at Athens airport.

His visit was originally scheduled for last weekend, but was delayed and shortened from three days to one following a series of anti-American protests.

Greek dislike of the US is based partly on Washington's perceived backing of Greece's traditional enemy Turkey. It was fuelled more recently by Nato's offensive against Yugoslavia.

The Greek Public Order Ministry has staged an unprecedented security operation to protect Mr Clinton, deploying some 7,000 police, backed by 400 FBI agents, across the city.

It has closed 12 miles of central Athens' usually-congested streets for the entire day, with bus routes altered for two days.

It banned protesters from rallying near the airport, anywhere along the seaside boulevard linking the airport to central Athens, and a triangular area housing the US embassy and other official buildings.

The security arrangements seemed to anger protesters further.

The Greek Communist Party and two other small left-wing opposition parties urged demonstrators to test police barriers and march to the US Embassy.

Rallies were also planned in other Greek cities, and more than 2,000 protesters burned American flags outside the US Consulate on the northern port of Thessaloniki.

Clinton 'a friend'

Speaking as he disembarked form Air Force One, Mr Clinton said he came to Greece as a "friend" of the country.

"I have come here as a 'philhellene' - a friend of Greece - and I look forward to experiencing that wonderful quality of Greek hospitality known to all the world," he said.

"We look to ancient Greece for inspiration, but we look to modern Greece for leadership and partnership."

Earlier, Mr Clinton had said people should be able to show their feelings.

"Greece is the world's oldest democracy. If people want to protest, they ought to have a chance to do it," he said at a press conference in Turkey.

encouraged by this new Cyprus initiative, and by the fact that I found a receptive ear [in Turkey] on three separate occasions when I spoke ... about the necessity of the Turkish people and the Greeks being reconciled," he said.

Because of his new programme, President Clinton's experience of Athens will largely be confined to a high-rise hotel near the airport.

He, his wife Hillary and daughter Chelsea were due to meet Greek leaders behind a cordon of riot police, before travelling on to Florence.

THIS STORY REALLY GETS UNDER KJs SKIN AND LOOKS LIKE f.g. TOO!!
But lets go after the real enemy ISLAMIC TERORIST!!

The idea that Muslims feel victimized by the war on terror is really no different than the attitude the Nazis encouraged between WWI and WWII.

Remember, the Nazis viewed Germans as especially persecuted by the Versailles treaty, by cosmopolitan attitudes attributed to Jews and by Western ideals in general.

The Nazis successfully turned the Germans' frustration into a pervasive sense of victimization, which they then exploited by providing the "solution": Embrace an inherent superiority ("the Master Race"), take entitled power ("Lebensraum" or "living space" in Eastern Europe) and destroy all opposition.

Groups like CAIR and the British-based Islamic Human Rights Commission are doing the same thing. They're trying to foster a similar sense of victimization that can only be solved by re-establishing the Caliphate.

I liked this post?

And Joseph do we really care what they think? after all I don't see them leaving the USA in droves do you?

September 10, 2004
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Three years ago this week, 19 radical Islamic Jihadists seized four airplanes and killed 2,996 people in New York City, Washington, D.C. and Somerset County, Pa. The terrorists' goal was to kill so many Americans that we would retreat from the world stage, waving the white flag of defeat.
It was the same goal that motivated Adm. Isoroku Yamamoto on Dec. 7, 1941, when his 351 aircraft bombed Pearl Harbor and killed 2,388 Americans. Both events had many of the same effects: We went immediately to war, dispatched our armed forces to fight our enemies overseas and mobilized to protect our home front. The parallels don't stop there.
Both the Dec. 7, 1941, surprise attack and that of Sept. 11, 2001, rallied the American people to coalesce in the face of a terrifying threat for which we were unprepared. Both prompted congressional investigations, a dramatic shift in government priorities and wartime reorganizations. But unlike Pearl Harbor, the Sept. 11 assault failed to unify America's political leadership over how to protect our homeland.
During World War II, more than 150,000 "enemy aliens" -- Japanese, Germans and Italians living in the United States -- were rounded up and interned. The FBI and our military were granted broad powers to arrest and detain people. Those accused of being enemy spies or saboteurs were tried by military tribunals, convicted and, in most cases, executed in short order. Air raid drills, bomb shelters, rationing, blackout curtains, "sand-bag brigades" and reminders that "loose lips sink ships" were routine for American civilians and endorsed by politicians of every political stripe throughout World War II. Not so for the War on Terror.
In an effort to redress gaping holes in our nation's domestic security, in June 2002, President George W. Bush asked for authority to create a new Cabinet department accountable for protecting the homeland and improving the safety of American citizens in this new war. On Nov. 25, 2002, after months of acrimonious and partisan debate over union rights and meaningless "riders," the Congress finally passed the Homeland Security Act.
Just two months later, in the largest government reorganization since the Department of Defense was created in 1947, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) went into operation -- placing responsibility for the activities of 22 Federal agencies and 183,000 government employees on the shoulders of one person -- Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge. Since then, Ridge, former governor of Pennsylvania and decorated Vietnam combat veteran, has been in the crosshairs of a hostile media and the minority party in Congress. And now that we're in the midst of a presidential election, the sniping has become a barrage.
Is the criticism fair? Has the Department of Homeland Security made us any safer? Is the color-coded terrorism risk alert system being used for political purposes, as some allege? Have the numerous problems of coordination, communication and cooperation identified by the 9-11 Commission been fixed? Are taxpayers getting their money's worth from the $33 billion DHS budget ($41 billion next year)?
These are some of the questions that Fox News assigned me to answer on this third anniversary of the 9-11 attack. Ridge opened the door to our "War Stories" producers and camera teams, granting unprecedented access to investigate literally any aspect of DHS activities, with only one pre-condition: that we would not reveal any tactic or procedure that might increase our vulnerability. That's the same guideline we use in covering U.S. combat units in Iraq and Afghanistan, so we agreed -- and spent the last three weeks crisscrossing America to prepare a detailed report card on how well we're being protected from those who seek to kill us.
-- Contrary to press reports, the Homeland Security Operations Center is today a streamlined, high tech, facility, staffed 24-7, where all relevant terror intelligence is fused and disseminated to those who can act on it -- even local law enforcement.
-- New terror attacks have been thwarted -- numerous times -- though little is reported about these "success stories."
-- The merger of diverse agencies like the Coast Guard, Customs Service, Immigration, Secret Service, Transportation Security Administration and Border Patrol has improved protection of our 7,500 mile-long borders, air, ground and mass transit systems, ports of entry, waterways, freight railways, and computer infrastructure.
-- We have stockpiled a billion doses of antibiotics and vaccines, including enough smallpox vaccine for every man, woman and child in America, and DHS has created a "national medicine cabinet" that can be shipped anywhere in the United States in 12 hours.
-- DHS has spent $500 million improving infrastructure security; $350 million to develop nuclear and bioterrorism defenses; $373 million on new border security equipment; and $13.1 billion to equip the nation's first responders for terrorism preparedness.
-- "Curb to cockpit," air safety has been enhanced by 6,200 hardened cockpit doors, 6,800 new passenger screening devices, thousands of air marshals and pilots packing heat.
-- More than 500,000 "first responders" have received new training and equipment to mitigate the consequences of a terror attack.
-- American civilians are calling in "terror tips" and assembling their own "Preparedness kits."
-- Some of the best minds in America -- scientists I call "MacGyvers with Ph.D.s" -- are working on high tech solutions to explosive detection, WMD protection and the challenges of disarming terror devices.
Bottom line: In the three years since Sept. 11, thanks to the DHS, we're a lot safer. Is it perfect? No. But as Ridge told me last week: "We have to be right -- in every decision we make -- at the borders, at the airports, over a billion times a year. The terrorists only have to be right once."

Now lets look at what we can see?

WASHINGTON - Federal law enforcement authorities notified six school districts in five states last month that a CD found by the U.S. military in Iraq contained crisis-planning information about their schools, two U.S. officials said Thursday.
The downloaded information found in Iraq in July - all publicly available on the Internet - included an Education Department report guiding schools on how to prepare and respond to a crisis, said one official, speaking on condition of anonymity. The official said FBI special agents in charge in the areas mentioned in the downloaded material - Georgia, Florida, Michigan, New Jersey and two districts in California - went to those school districts about three weeks ago to inform education officials there.
He said there were serious questions about whether the military's find in July represented any threat; for instance, it could have come from someone innocently involved in civic planning, specifically school planning.
The CD contained an Education Department report called "Practical Information on Crisis Planning: A Guide for Schools and Communities," published in May 2003, as well as photos and floor plans.
In a separate but more widespread warning put out this week, the Education Department advised school leaders nationwide to watch for people spying on their buildings mr buses to help detect any possibility of terrorism like the deadly school siege last month in Russia.
The warning follows an analysis by the FBI and the Homeland Security Department of the siege that killed more than 330 people, many of them students, in the city of Beslan.
"The horror of this attack may have created significant anxiety in our own country among parents, students, faculty staff and other community members," Deputy Education Secretary Eugene Hickok said in a letter sent Wednesday to schools and education groups.
The Education Department's advice is based on lessons learned from the Russia siege. But there is no specific information indicating a terrorist threat to any schools or universities in the United States, Hickok said.
Federal law enforcement officials also have urged local police to stay in contact with school officials and have encouraged reporting of suspicious activities, the letter says.
In particular, schools were told to watch for activities that may be legitimate on their own - but may suggest a threat if many of them occur.
Among those activities:
- Interest in obtaining site plans for schools, bus routes and attendance lists.
- Prolonged "static surveillance" by people disguised as panhandlers, shoe shiners, newspaper or flower vendors or street sweepers not previously seen in the area.
- Observations of security drills.
- People staring at or quickly looking away from employees or vehicles as they enter or leave parking areas.
- Foot surveillance of campuses involving individuals working together.
The effort is the latest by the Education Department and other federal agencies to encourage school officials to maintain and practice a plan for responding to emergencies.
"It's a positive sign that they're finally discussing this after years of downplaying or denying even the possibility of a terrorist strike on schools," said Kenneth Trump, a Cleveland-based school safety consultant who has worked with officials in more than 40 states. "Public officials are in fear of creating fear, but we have to put the cards on the table, educate people in the school community and make sure they are well prepared."
After the terrorist takeover of the Russian school, President Bush asked his top advisers to review their strategies for dealing with hostage situations, Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge has said.
The federal government is advising schools to take many steps to improve the security of their buildings. Those include installing locks for all doors and windows, having a single entry point into buildings and ensuring they can reach school bus drivers in an emergency.
The Education Department sent its letter by e-mail Wednesday to school police, state school officers, school boards, groups representing principals and many other organizations.
The Homeland Security Department also sent a bulletin to federal, state and local emergency officials to provide fresh guidance based on the review of the school siege in Russia.

Catherine,

I the people in this country are any indication, most of them won't understand why they are being shot at. Is it that difficult to understand that when a Muslim is saying "kill the infidels;" He means YOU, and if you disagree with that statement, you support them?

The above example is perhaps too simplistic, but it is to the point, because we live among many who (as they say in the south) are blind in one eye and can't see out the other.

Catherine, I wrote my post to show that Jihadists are nothing more than 21st-century Nazis, only with a different ideology. As far as "caring what Muslims think" goes, the point is that American Muslims are either being manipulated by their co-religionists to embrace nefarious ideas or support those ideas themselves.

Besides, Catherine, if American Muslims want to re-orient the country to their way of thinking, then why would they want to leave?

10 Things we can do

1) If a muslim utters the word "islamophobia", counter it with the fact that "infidelophobia" is enshired in koran.
2) If a muslim says his "civil liberties" are at danger in US, counter it with facts that lives of non-muslims and dhimmis are at danger in muslim countries
3) If a muslim says that koran says that there is no compulsion in religion, counter it with the fact that non-muslims cannot practice their religion in Saudi Arabia. Why is it okay for Saudi Arabia to build mosques in West and non-muslims cannot have their church, temple or synagogue built in most muslim countries.
4) If a muslim says islam is the "fastest growing" religion, counter it by saying that muslims are having too many uneducated, biligerent, ignorant kids.
5) If muslims boycott Coca Cola for Mecca Cola, boycott all muslim products.
6) If a muslim says islam is religion of peace, ask why 90% of the world's troubles involve them.
7) If a muslim says islam is growing fast in west, ask why numbers of christians and other non-muslims are forced to leave muslim countries.
8) If a muslim says islam promotes equality, ask why poor muslims from Africa and Asia immigrate to Europe and America and not oil-rich Saudi Arabia or Iran for "economic" asylum.
9) Boycott products made in Arab countries. The profits they make from their business might end up to fund suicide bombers to kill our children
10) Give books on "true" islam to friends and family during Christmas and forward this website to all your friends

Good suggestions, Buddha.
And for all of you Americans who want to avoid buying Saudi oil, gas up at your local Sunoco.

Yes, excellent Buddha.

Regarding this "war on Islam" and X% think it's not a rel of peace, this has been stated many decades ago.

Aside: I just looked at a translation of "Mein Kampf" on the bookstore shelf, and there was one instance of Muhammedan in the book. I read the sentence. It was in the context of conquering and converting those new people to your religion. He said that Islam was way ahead of the game and was most successful because they did not let up. This is high praise from the man himself. {For those who don't know, it's Hitler.} I also remember reading somewhere else (can't remember where) that Himmler also lamented the fact that "why couldn't we all just convert to Islam, and then it would be OK; Christianity doesn't sanction Holocausts but Islam does." These aren't his words but the jist of them.

Does anybody think that when/if the US has a civil war over this matter, that the agnostic left will say "Let's get the Christians as well since were at it."? Some co-workers of mine think Christians are just as much a danger as Muzzies. Possible multi fronted war?

I was agreeing with you!! and just adding something to point they are full of it if they were really afraid they would leave??

Now you know we are not running around just killing people but God does have his ways? there are people put in jail for finiancing Terrorist and that list is long? But glad you can see the simple of it sometimes simple works?

When they tell you they are about peace ask is that piece or peace?

Qur’an 8:12 “Your Lord inspired the angels with the message: ‘I will terrorize the unbelievers. Therefore smite them on their necks and every joint and incapacitate them. Strike off their heads and cut off each of their fingers and toes.”

or there is this one?

Qur’an 9:5 “When the sacred forbidden months for fighting are past, fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, torture them, and lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war.”

and there is this one and remember we have seen all these in action around the world?

Qur’an 5:37 “The [Christian] disbelievers will long to get out of the Fire, but never will they get out there from; and theirs will be an enduring torture.”

and lets talk about the monsters that they are the lieing stealing killing from their own as well as others??

Ask why the arab world was more upset about the looting after being libarated as to the 300,000 Iraqi Dead at the hands of the MONSTER saddam [FOUND IN A HOLE DON'T SHOOT I'M A YELLOW COWARD] While you are at it why were the mulsums more upset about they way saddam[FOUND IN A HOLE DON'T SHOOT I'M A YELLOW COWARD]WAS HANDELED THEN BY THE MASS GRAVES OR THE BUCHERS WAY OF TREATING HIS PEOPLE?

aSK THEM WHY THEY WERE MORE UPSET ABOUT MEN WITH PANTIES ON THEIR HEADS BUT NOT TO UPSET THAT THEIR KINd?

CUT MENS HEADS OFF WITH THEIR HANDS TIED BEHIND THEIR BACKS AND LET US NOT FORGET THAT THE MAN FROM NEPAUL THEY CUT HIS THROUGHT AND WHILE HE WAS GASPING THE MONSTERS GOT ON THE GROUNG TO WATCH REAL CLOSE?

Ask they why they defend these Monsters and yes Lest not forget the mulsum preacher who said it was okay for what the MONSTERS did in Russia and if they did this in England it would be okay to kill the Children?

Do we want our children learning that what they teach is okay?

Hell No

do we care what they think of us HELL NO!!

A couple of things to tell your friend, HaiJaeger. The first is that about 80% of Americans consider themselves Christians, in one form or the other. The atheists would lose if they chose to fight such a battle.

Second, Christians are not something to be feared. A really fundamentalist Christian might try to love you to death but he won't cut off your head. Don't even bother with the crap about all the people Christians have killed throughout history. Just imagine the world without Jesus, a world infinitely more pitiless than the one we live in.

HaiJaeger-

There is no way the U.S. will enter into a civil war based on preceptions/conceptions of Islam. At least not in my lifetime. Please go study American history to find out who we are, and how we got here.

Kafira - I can guarantee you that adult Americans, Christian or not, living now will go to war if an attempt is made to impose Sha'ria. For this reason Muslims are making attempts to get access to our children's minds to make the transition easier. We must take action to prevent further infestation and contamination of the curricula.

Newtopia says:

..."Muslims have curiously settle in border communities, perhaps for the quick refugee run to canadastan".

Canadastan, priceless. I never thought about it but it's true, Detroit is the muslim Capitol of the U.S. It would offer a short exit out of the country if need be. Very curious indeed.

The muslims must come to understand that is THEY who began the war that the United States of America is now conducting. It was their murderous deeds on September 11, 2001 and other similarly horrifying episodes that galvanized the United States into undertaking its present course of wartime action.

In the event Muslims find this war unpalatable, it is their responsiblity to themselves to see to it that #1)-the so-called 'Islamic world' accept the fact that its own dogma and militaristic actions (or 'jihad') stemming from that dogma have brought about the war on terror (and, yes, on Islam ...which by all accounts is actually terrorism or if you will a restructured form of human sacrifice par excellence which militant Islam is in a big hurry to install across the globe)and, #2)-that islamic ideology and its twin evil, militant islam (aka 'terrorism' or 'jihad'), are permanently restrained from their murderous and genocidal tendencies. Otherwise muslims can expect to reap what they sow. And no one is going to feel sorry for them.

So 38 percent of Muslims surveyed now admit that Islam was behind the 9/11 slaughter, the paranoia and denial was amazing.
I think people need to know the facts, there were about 26,000 people that evacuated the WTC towers
befor they colapsed, the deaths could have reached
over 30,000 if the planes struck a lower floor
and sealed off any way out, almost 200 people were seen jumping to their death rather than be cremated against their will, the hijackers praised Allah and professed to be Muslims dispite what CAIR claims, roof tops were strewn with body parts and sets of arms tied together at the wrists with the plastic ties planes use to subdue rowdy passengers,Barbara Olsen is really dead and not being held by the CIA with the others that were switched with a Military plane that had a missile strapped to the belly and exploded when the second plane hit,and finally,Moore's claim that Bush ALLOWED Arabs and Muslims to leave America on 9/13/01 is a distortation of the truth and
implies they should have been sent to internment camps until they prove their innocent of the 9/11 attack.

As for Kerry,he's now in bed with Islam and what's really scary is that if he becomes president he'll repeat his Vietnam judgement and supress atrocities and human rights violations by Muslims until it will help his career or personal cause.
Remember,he waited to speak-up on civilian murders in Vietnam and what else would he overlook until he can benefit from it.

If the 0.0008 percent of the worlds Muslims
in America have 38 percent that feel the right to perform Jihad to protect Islam, just think what the other 99.9992 percent of Muslims outside America are thinking when their Quran orders them to emulate Muhammad and conquer the world for Allah.

NO ISLAM KNOW PEACE

I'm always blown away by the inborn, shameless attitude of superiority and entitlement most Muslims have.

There's no question in their minds they should have every whim catered to. Muslims? Roll out the red carpet, make sure they have halal foods and a place to prey (oops, I meant 'pray')Don't offend them.

They shouldn't have to accept the accomodations that dirty Jews and Christians settle for. And how can you tell that they think they are superior to all other humans? Just travel to their countries. You'll get a rude awakening.

Wear a magen David or a cross at your own peril.

This is the natural order of things according to Muslims. They are superior and we are filthy, inferior and impure. They expect deferential treatment -- we receive the back of their hand or the edge of their sword. Maybe they'll let us live ...

It would be fascinating to consider the response if one were to ask Muslims to try, just to try, for one minute to imagine themselves to be Infidels -- yet knowing what they know perfectly well, as Muslims, to be the real tenets of Islam. Would they, as Infidels, but knowing what they know about the real attitudes that Islam inculcates in its Believers, not act in a spirit of self-defense against the world-wide Jihad, and not worry about the insistence of Muslims within the Infidel lands to have changes made in the laws and the mores in order to make Da'wa (the Call to Islam) easier for the Muslims who have managed to settle in the Bilad al-kufr? Could a Muslim possibly perform that act of imaginative sympathy? For if he could, and if he were quite truthful, he would have to admit that Muslim hostility and aggression, based squarely on the canonical texts, is no figment of fevered Infidel delirium, but a real, and immutable, and permanent threat to the wellbeing, and continued existence, of Infidels and of their civilization.

Why non-Muslims need be apologetic for attempting to defend themselves, is a puzzlement. What is necessary, in fact, is a much more widespread understanding of the basic tenets of Islam -- not the rigmarole of Shehada, zakat, salat, Ramadan, and hajj, but the division of the world between dar al-Islam and dar al-harb, and the Treaty of al-Hudaibiyya, and Sura 9, and the hundred-odd verses throughout the Qur'an that extol jihad against the Infidels, and the hundreds of violently hostile hadith, and the behavior of Muhammad himself. Once this understanding has been achieved by many more Infidels than at present, a reasonable attempt at constraining Islam, and those who support it, can be attempted -- for that has barely begun with the awkwardly-named "war on terror" that carefully leaves out the word "jihad" or, still more deliberately and foolishly, the word "Islam."

Thank you Hugh.
We are fighting islam.
In a sense, muslims in America are right.
We, or our leaders, are attempting to differentiate between those who follow in the footsteps of mo, and must be killed, and those who are called 'moderate' because of their ignorance of the intent and instructions coming from mo re islam vs good , or because they recognize some of the evil of islam, but are still, emotionally, moslems.

mo was evil, islam is evil, and the future will not be worth living if this evil is allowed to play a role on the planet.

Mike: I live in California and Sunoco isn't sold out here. What other gas do you suggest we buy? I believe ARCO (subsidiary of British Petroleum) doesn't buy Saudi crude.

Catherine: I misunderstood you. I think you intended to put an exclamation point instead of a question mark after your comment, "I agree with this post." No biggie.

"More than third of U.S. Muslims see war on Islam"

That isn't so surprising since so many mulsims also see themselves as at war with the West.

By the way, here in Australia they did a survey and found 30 percent of muslims don't vote becuase they think it is un-islamic. I wish these figures were different but alas! 30 percent who don't see democracy as islamic is too high a figure to be healthy for society I think.

OBL

Is it not a criminal offence not to vote in OZ?

How come there is no legel action?

If you are registered to vote in OZ and you don't vote it is an offense. However the survey didn't explain whether these people were registered or prosecuted. I read about it at the Andrew Bolt website. He writes articles for the Herald Sun newspaper. He is concerned about Islamism and his articles are good reading though I don't agree with all that he says about other issues.

Yes ANdrew Bolt is right about John Martinkus
the SBS ex Human shiel Journo,
What the hell is SBS up to. if they were.nt state funded they would have gone bust long ago!

Baghad like rammallah is now a watering hole for every western hating, jihad loving, lefty troll of the press world. We've seen it all before in the former Yougoslavia.
No wonder they cannot find anybody "worthy' to kidnap amongst them

Muslims are muslims because they love Allah (swt) and Allah (swt) loves them. He is most bountful, merciful and just. This is what the Koran teaches.

People say that this is not a war on Islam, and ofcourse the US soldiers do try not to target civilians per say, this is true (I believe it).

Many of you here though say you know that they are fighting Islam & not just insurgents, surely the opposite of this is true as well, particularily those who are well read! i.e. The war against Afgans & Iraq (and soon Iran, Syria) is not against insurgents but against Islam and these learned people probably equate to about 30% of the muslims population.

I don't understand why you are so surprised, it just seems logical to me!

Of course if the administration were to come out & say this, the 30% would soon emigrate but some would start insurgency as they would be targetted. This would be most regretabble as it would bring judgement day forward...and we do not want that.

Nobody understands this better than your war hero Mr. John Kerry. Once again I urge you not to waste your vote on Mr. Bush.....vote Mr. John Kerry to take your nation forward. The next few years are probably the most important years of US foreign policy EVER.

Allah Hafiz

Naseem,
Rikki here, had a bit of a identity change.....
Just so you know it's not a cmplete stranger who's gonna tell you to insert your copy of the koran into John Kerry's batty-crack.

This shouldn't make much difference to the book of death, as it's pages are already smothered with turd, but at least it'd block up the hole where senator Kerry talks from.

Naseem, if the war on terror is a war on Islam, then it's the Muslims own fault. A leading Arab journalist wrote a column declaring that all the major terrorists are Muslim. Imams from throughout the Arab world, particularly an Egyptian theologian featured on al-Jazeera, proclaim jihad against the West. Muslims who oppose such jihad are either disorganized or cowed into silence.

Re-read my post equating jihadism with Nazism. As you do so, remember that the German electorate gave Hitler the opportunity to impose his agenda. Though the Nazis never got enough votes to rule as a majority in the Reichstag, they became enough of a political power that President Hindenburg felt he had no choice but to appoint Hitler as chancellor. The rest, as they say...

Naseem, today's Muslims are in the same position as the Germans of the 1930s. They have the power to stop this genocidal, imperialist, totalitarian interpretation of jihad. The question is whether they want to. And, if they don't want to, is it really all that unfair to lump all Muslims with the jihadists?

Naseem:

See my post way above where I reference Amos Oz's observations on the participation of Muslims are on one or both sides of roughly 25 out of 28 conflicts currently raging in the world. Clearly, it's not that Muslims and the West are at war, with whomever as chief aggressor. Muslims are at war with virtually any nation that isn't Muslim, or "as Muslim as they are (i.e. Sunni vs. Shia; Arab Muslim Sudanese vs Black Sudanese of various religions).

Joseph d'H has it right. Islam is not merely a religion, wherein the deity is Allah and his chief interpretor/prophet is Mohammed. It's a triumphalist, fascistic ideology wrapped in religious allusions and mythologies, which Nazism was to a degree as well.

And, living in that bastion of democracy, Pakistan, as you do, what would you know about wasting votes?
