WASHINGTON (AP) -- At least seven former prisoners of the United States at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, have been involved in terrorist acts, despite gaining their freedom by signing pledges to renounce violence, according to the Pentagon.At least two are believed to have died in fighting in Afghanistan, and a third was recaptured during a raid of a suspected training camp in Afghanistan, Lt. Cmdr. Flex Plexico, a Pentagon spokesman, said last week. Others are at large.
The seven were among 203 detainees released from the prison at the U.S. naval base on Cuba's southeastern tip since it opened in early 2002.
Of those, 146 were let go only after U.S. officials determined they no longer posed threats and had no remaining intelligence value.
With thanks to the Supreme Court for their ruling of POW rights at GITMO we are now adding fuel to the fire trying to consume us.

In fact, I suggest recording and documenting the immediate summary judgement and execution.
While videotaping - have the re-captured jihadist display the document signed upon release from GITMO and re-fingerprint.
Then utilize the defiant jihadist's weapon of choice (the one he was carrying when caught after breaking his agreement) and execute the SOB with it.

Please pardon me for straying off-topic here. The story’s largely missed the headlines recently, but readers ought to be aware of this week’s “African Summit” in Tripoli, Libya.
This Conference ISN’T convened by the new African Union, per se, but by five African nations, Chad, Sudan, Nigeria, Libya & Egypt (the latter three being among the most prominent Members of the AU). However, it’s no more than another cynical exercise by these states in EVADING RESPONSIBILITY (plus whitewashing the perpetrators, the rulers in Khartoum).
They’re meeting to discuss the difficulties in the Province - primarily, the trouble caused FOR THEM, via perceived “undue attention” on Darfur, which they insist gives a “false”, negative-image of Araby (and of Africa), as well as of the unfortunate events within Darfur itself. On Monday, the five Delegations attending the confab unanimously agreed on rebuffing any offers of external intervention, trusting the disruptions in Darfur to be settled “purely by Africans”.
They’ve authorized the phased deployment in Darfur of several thousand AU peace-keepers (there are some hundreds there at the moment, mostly Nigerian) and the “facilitation” of those international NGOs who can deliver relief (without the shadow of a doubt, to be avidly MILKED by the Sudanese régime - the NGOs to be fed, in exchange, with copious Arab propaganda).
In this way, whether Darfur’s resolved satisfactorily (Objectively speaking), or not, the True, bloody Enormity of what’s been taking place there for 2-1/2 years, to wit, GENOCIDE/JIHAD, will have been effectively CONCEALED: inasmuch as it never rouses the UN Security Council to categorical condemnation - let alone to any Action. Further, the directly culpable Arab sphere will be right off the hook (again), fixed to strenuously deny all future claims of atrocities there.
Thus - vitally - NO Moslems will be blamed for committing Hate-Crimes Against Humanity, hence NONE of them will be SHAMED. Indeed, the Islamic-majority/dominated states of Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Nigeria and Chad look forward to being accepted - positively CELEBRATED - by the warped, somnambulist “international community”, for adequately-soon “ending” the Darfur problem - “Peacefully”…. They’ll be reaping exuberant thanks and tributes, for applying their “multilateral, consensual approach”, “profound cultural sensitivity”, “subtle and sophisticated perspectives”, “traditional methods of reconciliation” and “their all-wise Diplomacy”, etc.
But it’ll all a gigantic Subterfuge, a DODGE, engineered by Arab (and Arab-subjected) African countries. IN FACT, here on Planet Earth, in Darfur, the Arab-supremacist, expansionist mass-murderers of Khartoum will be concretely ATTAINING their keen ambition of comprehensively ethnically-cleansing Darfur of “mawalis” - almost totally cost-free (- to their greatest delight).
Indubitably, the Government-supported Janjwid killers, in the next months, will be fully enabled to finish up their campaign of Genocide in Darfur - as the AU (“steered” by such “disinterested” parties as Egypt, Libya, Chad and the Sudan itself) extends handy cover and runs interference for what amounts to continued Arab plunder, rapine and butchery, “on the ground”.
Before the lapse of an overly-long interval, the AU can be counted upon to solemnly declare that the Sudan’s unlucky Darfur has, at length, returned to Tranquility, “under the AU’s insightful supervision”. - But, it’ll be a pack of lies: this “calm”’ll be THE PEACE OF THE GRAVE.... What a grotesque, ripe crock of rich Hypocrisy’s tragically shaping up today, for poor, stricken Darfur - to make a perfect mockery of the UN and of the “international community”!
The black, Darfurian, Moslem, “mawali” victims (deemed by the Islamist fundamentalists to be either - CAPITALLY - Heretics or else Apostates) will be annihilated, starving, perishing unseen and unheard, in their droves, their bleached bones scattered across the eastern Sahara.
Together with their henchmen, the imperialist, Arab-chauvinist Genocidists, though, will probably be dubbed “Heroes” (as they “resume” the blacks’ lands), by the dementedly lofty-minded “international community”, for rendering it the welcome service of removing this Ugliness in Sudan from their news-pages, airwaves & TV screens.

But since it's been bought up I'll say what I would have said had I been able to access it:
If Iraq becomes a Sharia state, then it's just shows what a waste of time and resources these people are, and in future we know never to help them again.
We oust their dictator, fight their insurgency/terrorists (which we will win), and give them a new and brighter future, democracy, freedom.... and they go and blow it all away, just so they can have their dark-age commandments.
Fuck the lot of them, let them waste each other, and lets us focus on taking down the rest of the terrorist havens, and destroying any WMDs they may possess.
Pesonally I don't think they will vote in a sharia law, if they've got any sense, and if they like the little taste of democracy their having. That'd definitely explain why they insurgency is going so bezerk!!!

The coverup will be complete, the genocide will be glossed over, and the oil-rich lands of Darfur will be re-stocked with Arabized Muslims while the world's "progressive" idealists look the other way to avoid having their sensibilities hurt until its completely over.
Darfur will become a moneypit in which to sink billions of aid dollars. Will they cover their tracks better than was done with the "Oil for Food" monies? Stay tuned for further developments.
