Every day, immigrants illegally run across our southern border unchecked. Homeland Security officials are not as concerned with the ones from Mexico as they are with the ones who may be hidden within other groups -- the ones our government refers to as OTMs, known as Other Than Mexicans, such as people from Central and South America, and countries like Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran. Nationwide, our government has lost track of 400,000 of these OTMs....Val Verde County Sheriff D'Wayne Jernigan sees anywhere from 1,000 to 1,500 OTMs released into his community every month.
"At a time when we're so concerned with terrorism in our country, we don't know who is coming into our country. We don't know. We don't know. We don't know who these people are," Jernigan said.
In Eagle Pass, so many OTMs are being released daily to roam the streets, border patrol officers call it "OTM alley."
"If Homeland Security is important, then this should stop immediately," said Pepe Aranda, Maverick County judge.

What will it take for the Federal Government through the Border Patrol, to do its job, or better still, for the assignment of the National Guard. After all WE ARE AT WAR and many still act as if we're not. Using WWII, Korea, or Vietnam as models for wartime behavior are inappropriate because the nature of our enemy is different.
NOTICE ALSO that the southern border opens into open country and landformations that could easily hide battalions and enormous numbers of weapons. As has been repeatedly pointed out, our enemies have had decades to prepare and to slyly infiltrate and meld with the rest of us. Usama and his group chose Tuscon as the second most important spot on the planet for the development of al Qaeda. This isn't rocket science. He did it for a reason. Do the calculus and you'll understand why.
The only party that promised to defend the US borders and to deport ALL illegals was the Constitution Party.
Continuing to vote DEM and GOP will only prolong and exacerbate the border problem.
Both parties look the other way when the subject is illegals coming into the US because both parties want 1) a cheap pool of labor and 2) votes, even illegal ones.
Wake up, America. This is all so unnecessary.

How serious is our government about protecting the citizens against terrorism? It appears not very. If the priority was national security the National Gaurd would have been on the borders by the end of the day September 11, 2001. But instead we are being invaded and nothing is being done about it.

As for border protection here's why I agree in the new security rules for non-Citizen of Canada
entering a crossing point into the USA.
During our last Federal election this past June-04 there was a female-Muslim running and a female-non-Muslim running in seperate districts that had high immigrant populations of Arabs and Muslims that could vote this year.
The Muslim lost and the non-Muslim won,why you ask,I'll tell you why.
The non-Muslim Liberal was know for her Anti-American rants and vicious attacks on Bush and the Americans in general as mentally disturbed for re-electing him,she also back a National Islamic conference that had a Youth workshop
that I discovered had a Topic on "Jihad-Obeying the Quran to fight for Islam and create an islamic state in Canada" and also mentioned martyrdom for Allah's cause.
As for the Muslim politician,she wore the Hijab but also ran on a platform of human rights and family values for programmes to assist children. Yes there was one Muslim female elected but that was a person parachuted in to a dominately Liberal area that help the image of having females and visible minorities of non-traditional faiths.
You see the real issue was that the overt hatred for infidels and Westerners,Bush and the USA were merely a distraction for MiddleEast voters so Canadians weren't frightened by the real goal of Islam. The passive and peaceful Muslim candidate showed there is no room for doves in the Jihad of the West,a non-Muslim that promotes Palestine and hates the USA gets elected well ahead of a moderate Muslim wanting social justice and equality.
With the Ontario Liberal's about to approve Shariah-Law for Muslim in Canada,I can only state that Theo van Gogh's murder is proof enough that the Jihadists in Canada will use the borders for their attacks and profiling is more than justifiable and valid.

With all the horror we've witnessed since then, the neglect of our borders is almost pathological. 1,000 to 1,500 OTM's A MONTH!?? Where ARE they? WHO are they?

I went and Voted that day and told as many people as I saw and then went to a store and bought more ammo!! and Food stores!!

There may be a fair number of Muslim voters in her riding, but they are still, far and away a minority and the good burghers of Mississauga-Erindale are probably getting more concerned about the jihadists who may be in their midst than you would care to believe, they just keep their opinions to themselves, in typical Canadian fashion.
