Integration Minister, Bertel Haarder, has challenged Muslims in Denmark to develop a new, modern and more westernised version of Islam which would explicitly reject the violent elements of traditional sharia law.“Well educated Muslims should take the lead in developing a democratic form of Islam which is more in keeping with our own democratic society,” he said.
Haarder's remarks seem to be a response to Danish Muslim politician Fatima Shah's endorsement of stoning, and the resultant fallout.
“In recent days we have heard many Muslim politicians saying they have to buy into the whole sharia package including stoning and hand cutting. In so doing they become slaves to a Muslim tradition that has no place in modern society,” said Haarder. Imam Fatih has rejected the Minister‘s challenge arguing it is impossible to develop a “Christianised” Islam.
In that case, what intentions do European Muslims have for Europe, specifically in regard to the Sharia?

This IS the modern version.
The old version would have simply killed the Danish Parliment without going through the pretence of arguing with them. But, of course, for that they need greater numbers.
But they are patient, and, with the lax "asylum" laws in Europe, and free health care, etc., the day is approaching when they will have the numerical clout to outvote the backward thinking Danes (Swedes, Finns, Norse) and declare Scandinavia a new peninsula of Saudia Arabia.

Although the Muslims in Europe are clever enough to learn to apply the 'spots' of jurisprudence on their Shariah pelt enough to tangle up the tolerant and naive Scandinavians in their own legalistic webs for years.

What I can't figure is: why are the Danes, etc. even bother arguing with their Muslim infiltraitors (... hmmm...a neologism I just mis-typed, but will keep... & feel free to spread it around...). There is no such thing as a westernized version of islam, and there never will be. The islamist regimes accept no compremises. If they accept a compremise, it there way of getting their foot in the door to islamize a nation. It's already happening in Canada. Our liberal federal and Ontario liberals are listening to the muslims demands, and its not going to get any better. Just as Harrison Ford said on the movie Air-Force

Shut up, Haarder. You can't police the other guy's conscience, so don't try. Instead, dust off your Bible and Luther's Catechsim, and work for the conversion of the Muslims to Christ.
The silly man hasn't done his homework. Well-educated Muslims are leading the jihad against the West. Physicians, scientists, engineers, chemists, philosophers and so on have signed on to the jihad against the West. They are educated enough to know what they want from the West and how to get it.
The less schooled were happy to live their daily in their villages, content with the knowledge that they were living life as good Muslims. Ignorance of the West was their bliss.
On the other hand, educated Muslims are infected with rage because their education has not brought them peace of mind. The most ignorant of tribesman is better off not knowing about the Western world, but being education, and having gone to live "in Pareee," as the song used to say, they want to go back, but on their own terms. I'm guessing the modernized demand for Islam would mean the beheading and murders of people like van Gogh would be with "Sharp" knives and not the horrific dull ones that make for screams

How wonderful and blessed we are to have those illuminati big head thinkers in the Western world like Haarder. The ha'a'rder they think the closer we're getting to civil unrest and citizens revolt and doomed to catastrophe.
