In the turbulent wake of the slaughter of Dutch media personality and provocateur Theo van Gogh, maverick Member of Parliament Geert Wilders has called for a five-year moratorium on all non-European immigration. Against a backdrop of threats to his life from the jihadi community, Wilders is now under 24-hour government protection. Even when he is in his high security office in the Dutch House of Parliament, there are two policemen at his side.Police investigating van Gogh’s murder discovered advanced plans to murder Wilders, plus videos promising 72 virgins for anyone who managed to assassinate him. Wilders now does not know where he will be sleeping on any given night, as he is driven from safehouse to safehouse in a convoy of armored cars. He told London’s Times, “My life has changed completely. I am sleeping very badly. To think that someone plans to kill me is something that no person would have a good night’s rest about.” He continued with typical Dutch understatement, “Even when I am on the floor of the parliament, I don’t feel comfortable.”
The great thing about putting out a contract on someone if you’re a Muslim is, you don’t have to find the unmarked bills for the hit man. You just offer those notional 72 virgin retreads and you’ve got yourself a deal.
Fellow parliamentarian Somali-born Hirsi Ali, an apostate who collaborated with van Gogh on the movie that Muslim immigrants to Holland deemed blasphemous or insulting or some other whine, is now under such heavy government protection that she can no longer meet her obligations to her constituents. The Mayor of Amsterdam has also been threatened with action from the beheading community, as has his Muslim deputy, and they, too, are under 24-hour protection, as are two other members of Parliament, including Immigration Minister Rita Verdonk.
The Dutch, schooled in tolerance, have been badly shaken, first by the barbaric butchery and then by the aftermath of burning mosques, schools and churches and the 14-hour standoff between police and Muslims holed up in a house in The Hague, and subsequent revelations about more murder plans.
Two years ago, when Pim Fortuyn, who had been the first to spot that Islamic rigid intolerance was a threat to the tolerance of the West, was murdered, there were stirrings of concern. The election, held a few days after his funeral, produced large gains for the political party Fortuyn had recently founded in order to get some controls on Islamic immigration into tiny Holland (pop. 16m). For the first time, the subject had been brought into the open air and examined rigorously, without pious politically correct niceties. It gave the Dutch the first wake-up nudge.
Then Theo van Gogh was slaughtered and butchered in broad daylight on a busy boulevard in civilized Amsterdam, by a djellaba-clad second-generation immigrant. The terrorist killer shot van Gogh six times, slit his throat deep enough to sever the spinal column and stuck two knives deep into his chest, one with a note attached, according to the primitive rituals of Morocco, and the threat that Muslim immigration presents to Holland and the West now has a stark clarity.

Five-year moratorium? How about a five HUNDRED year moratorium. Methinks that's how long it will take to breed out the hatred and psychopathy out of the current Islamic crop. What good is Muslim immigration? Name one benefit. They are nothing but long-term trouble and expense.
In the past, we used to say that after the 2nd generation, immigrants will assimilate. But we see this does not happen with Islamics. Van Gogh's murdered was born in Holland. You hear so many times that the younger set is even more rabid and feral.
What do we get with Muslim immigrants? University professors who waste university funds teaching students to hate Jews. University students who intimidate, threaten and riot in order to spread their hate and to stop free speech. Our artists are threatened and murdered by these Islamics. Our schools are used to proselytize their hateful ideology. Our own symbols and rituals are threatened and removed to appease them, while they shove their own in our faces. Whole sections of cities are turned into no-go zones. Women are raped, people are murdered on the street, others have to go into hiding. Welfare bills go through the roof. Security costs go through the roof. Medical costs go through the roof dealing with their sick customs of FGM, spouse-beating, and hordes of kids they don't even bother to support. We live in fear for the next attack, planned by ones living amongst us, who are supported by us. Demands, demands and more demands. And nothing useful or productive in return. Nothing.
They are nothing but a detriment to normal, peaceful society. Parasites.
Ship them all out into the sea on leaky boats......

I'm dying to hear someone, anyone, offer a plausible excuse for muslim immigration to Western countries. How does it benefit US?
There is not one single shred of evidence to suggest that muslim immigration to Western countries is beneficial to the indigenous citizens of those countries.
The people of the West have been duped and betrayed by pompous, arrogant, deluded elites who have deceitfully engaged in a volatile, potentially catastrophic social engineering experiment. The guinea pigs, us, are finally realizing the horrible consequences of this deadly experiment, but it may be too late.
As for multiculturalism; it sucks! When Islamic terrorists detonate a nuclear bomb in America, which the experts predict is inevitable, will that be enough to sway the Islamic apologists and appeasers? Probably not. They'll tell us we deserved it because we invaded Iraq and reelected President Bush.
The only hope we have of escaping such an attack is fear on the part of the lunatics that our reprisal might damage the Islamic agenda more than an attack on us would empower it. I think they are now so desperate to inflict severe pain, destruction, and suffering on America that they will abandon all consideration of the potential consequences.
My wife's parents were in the Dutch Resistence during WW II, and the main lesson her father left here about opposing a tyrannical inavasion was:

Her parents saved dozens of fleeing Jews, Resistence workers and downed-airmen by forging new identity papers and rations cards, dying little black-haired babies' blonde and filtering them out to farms in the boondocks and kept at it for 5 years of hell. And survived. And won.
I had hoped the Dutch had learned their hard lesson, but clearly the short-sighted or self-abnegating among them thought that it was easier to bring in a million "guest workers" (from Turkey and Morocco, etc. )than do the street sweeping and farm labor themselves.
Now they have more gruesome things to sweep from their streets (Theo Van Gogh and Pim Fortuyn) and will be lucky if they own their own farms in two generations*.

The solution is simple- deport them all! I know all the pc crap, but this is the survival of the western way of life. This is like letting wild animals roam the streets and everyone wringing their hands, wondering what to do. You put wild animals in cages or transport them back to their natural habitat.
It appears quite obvious that the government of Amsterdam is under seige and is being threatened and held hostage by Islamist 'beheaders'.
It's interesting that the most liberal, 'just' and people oriented country is the one that is being taken advantage of the soonest.
Which goes to show that, in this as yet untamed world, if you try to be too 'good' and 'understanding', generous and trusting, you will be overwhelmed by those who are bloodthirsty and fanatical.
I used to be an idealist, craving a kind of socialism where all would be treated equally and where all would participate in creating a just society...but as I matured, I realized that people are as yet too unevolved, too animal like to simply trust to be honest and un-self serving.

That is so true. And WE are doing the same thing here. Millions of poor, uneducated Hispanics may seem like a boon to rich people who don't want to cut their own grass or pay a decent wage to have done, or WalMart who wants cheap labor AND consumers who need everything (big families), but we have yet to reap the consequences of this 'multi-culturalism' experiment. (which is really an agenda of those who think only of profits) There are websites that tell what MECHA and Aztlan fanatics want for the US. Soon we will have President Gonzales and VP Hernandez, with clost political ties to Mexico and South America and we will lose all the gains we have made over the past 400 years. Check it out! So that you don't have to shake your head one day and wonder, "how did this happen?" They were just coming here for a better life. Yeah sure.
Just like the Muslims came to France, Spain, Holland and Briton, "for a better life", starting out sweeping the streets, but their numbers grew and now they are a powerful force there.
There is strength in numbers and Europeans and Americans have curtailed their births in consideration of world population, but the other countries haven't. We have unilaterally created a void in our cultures and there a millions, MILLIONS, of yellow, black and brown people who want to take the place of where our children would have been continuing our traditions and evolution. But our children don't exist, because the 'leftist', ecology teaching leaders from the 60's were not aware of what kind of imbalance our lowering our birth rate would create in our cultures.
So, now we're screwed. And, WE, of European Anglo stock are diminishing, disappearing, being displaced by other cultures, people who know nothing of over-population concerns, lack of resources concerns, and who know nothing of our culture of freedom and responsibility.

Unfortunately the vatican and fundamentalist christians (including Reagan, Bush etc.) have for years formed unholy alliances with muslim organisations to inhibit family planning programmes that would give more power to women in the third world (including Mexico) and have contributed substantially to overpopulation in the third world and now we're reaping the "benefits" of that policy in the western world where we're being swamped by predominantly muslim immigrants. The world population is now at 6 billion and projected to double in the foreseeable future. Since the world is finite this means less to go around for everyone and a concomitant lower quality of life. If we had a population policy in effect in Holland we wouldn't be sitting on a million muslim time-bombs. It's hard to believe it but only a few tens of thousands of muslim immigrants were originally invited into Holland for a limited period of time. Unfortunately the original policy of having them return home was abandoned and through family reunification and an incredibly high state-subsidised fertility rate their population has grown exponentially. What should we do in the west, raise our birth rate so we can outbreed them? I think that it should be an important goal of western society that we can regulate our population humanely so that we can improve our quality of life, live sustainably and not treat women like child factories. Regulating population can also mean making it easier for women to combine work and family through tax incentives if the birth rate is too low and stimulating women with higher education to have children who now often choose for their career. In an advanced society that shouldn't be a choice one has to make. What to do with the muslims? Well instead of trying to outbreed them I suggest sending them back where the came from in a humane and orderly fashion, with the exception that is of those western-oriented people who no longer consider themselves muslims. I'm sure that would improve the western way of life substantially!
Muslim Org.'s in Canada are portraying the problem in Holland as an attack on Islam,very little is said about Van Gogh's murder since they dont believe the killer was a true Muslim.
Also i dont here about the Churches being attacked,Muslims are brainwashing followers of islam to believe that the infidels are taking over the world and oppressing them,the one-sided reporting just incites western Muslims to embrace the Militant wing of Islam and that's just what CAIR and Mr.Hooper want so America will become the Islamic State he claimed he wanted it to be.

I think wearing orange wrist bands is a dhimmi thing to do. Why not wear one shoe black and one shoe white? Why not wear a yellow star on your lapel? These people do not understand the message they are sending, like the article states, what is next? Maybe white flags flying from every window.

I can't for the life of me figure out how a nation like Egypt, with 70 per cent of its population under the age of 20 is able to survive on the little money they make by scrounging US foreing aid and tourist dollars, which makes up close to half the gdp.
Yes, some Dutch politicians are now in hiding form their Moslem residents. But this much I do know: with the current rate of birth among Moslems in the netherlands, soon there will be one tenager too threaten evey middle aged Dutchman, and when that comes round, well, they can ask the French to protect them because there are quite a few French who would love to get away from that place, and I'm sure they'd be happy to work as body-guards.

Patricia: We've had a Presdient Van Buren and a President Kennedy. We had a REPUBLICAN dark horse plugging for his party's nomination at a long-past convention by the name of Hiram Fong (Senator from Hawaii). What would be wrong with a President Gonzales or Sanchez y Martinez--or, given what's happening to the Hispanic population in America, more likely Sanchez y Smith? A third of Hispanic and Asian-origin young people marry outside the racial classification.
And, speaking as an Evangelical rightist, America's first Hispanic or Asian-origin president could well be one of us.
I've long been of the mind that a good immigration law keeps out a welcome mat for the contributors (be their contributions ever so humble), but keeps sufficient teeth to deport the problem types. My guess is that the Netherlands will, once it develops the spine to deport a few imams and their recruits, find that the rest of its Muslim population will be ready to assimilate.

Thanks for your comment. The point I was trying to make re: President Gonzales was that as we Europeans continue to become the minority, as in Southern California, Florida and Texas, as the fertile Hispanic gains ground in the territory, our culture (which I think is one of the best on the planet, personally) will be transformed into a more Hispanic culture, inevitably and we will become the minority in America.
If you visit the sites run by MECHA, and other's (go to Americanpatrol.com), you will see that the goal is to overrun America and reconnect to Mexico politically and culturally.
When Hispanics are the majority and have a heavy voting block, of course President Gonzales will favor the Hispanic agenda over the European American one.
But what is it about Hispanic culture that we want to become? Look at the politics, the authoritarian dictatorship, the lack of education of people in general, the poverty, the...old connection with religion and the church, the superstition...
Numbers count. Vote of the majority. Power to make policy depends on who is in office.
