This Christmastime could be the moment when Western Europe finally joins our war on terrorism. Anti-Islamist fear and anger from the mouths of the European volk are breaking through the surface calm perpetuated by the elite European appeasers. The assassination and mutilation of Dutch filmmaker van Gogh by an Islamic fanatic -- and the retaliatory fire-bombings of mosques by ethnic Dutchmen -- has forced high European leaders and news outlets to begin to publicly face up to the implications of Sept. 11, 2001 and the migration of Muslims in large and hostile numbers into the heart of Europe.... Der Spiegel wrote: "The veil of multiculturalism has been lifted, revealing parallel societies where the law of the state does not apply." The Berliner Zeitung headlined their story: "Fear is spreading." In Holland, the very dignified Telegraaf wrote: " ... magazines and papers which include incitements should be suppressed, unsuitable mosques should be shut down and imams who encourage illegal acts should be thrown out of the country."Earlier this week, NPR's "All Things Considered" reported on the findings of German television's ZDF TV after they had secretly placed a camera inside a German Islamic mosque. A teacher at the Riksdorfer Elementary School -- a German government school that under German court ruling three years ago must teach its mostly Muslim students Muslim curriculum -- read an anonymous letter he received: "Germany is an Islamic country. Islam is in the home, in schools. Germans will be outnumbered. We [Muslims] will say what we want. We'll live how we want. It's outrageous that Germans demand we speak their language. Our children will have our language, our laws, our culture."
It is just such inflammatory events that led Der Spiegel this week to report that "A debate on the integration of Muslims is raging in Germany." The article went on to report that: "Computer keyboards across the country are smoking as editorialists pontificate on the pros and cons of multiculturalism ... It is heated and on the verge of becoming poisoned."

We in the West have eaten the enchanted apple of multiculturalism and have lived in that drug-like induced state for decades, unable to see the reality or grasp the significance of what was being to us in the sanctity of our own homes.
Sleeping Beauty is finally awakening from the effects of the poisoned apple and is horrified by what she see. Well...we all get it! Extending the illusion would be silly.
I am thrilled to know that old Europe was not conquered while still asleep. They can now see and understand the problem, the mechanism of how the problem evolved, and, as intelligent people, will be able to come to a logical solution.
My hope is that they can solve the problem with as little bloodshed as possible. Those of us in the Western hemisphere should take note and do likewise without further delay.

O.T. Did anyone see Fox's "Eurabia" part one last night? I don't get the Fox channel here, maybe after Jan 1st.
Part 1 of Eurabia was not pulled. I recorded and watched the segment this morning. Last nights Eurabia report was on illegal Muslim immigration into Europe via Spain.The report noted that Spain is cracking down on the "boat people" from Morocco. The Spanish and Europeans want Spain to crackdown on the illegal immigration noting that Muslims from Morocco were behind the killing of 190 people in Spain on 3/11 and the murder of Theo in the Netherlands. Part 2 of Eurabia airs tonight on the FOX report.

What was new, and kind of amusing in the story, was the role in this debate of the green left, which has this far fiercely protected Islamic "cultural rights" and the multiculti vision:

I am very happy to see this change in Europe. Equality is not possible between two communities if one of them plays foul all the time.
Muslims, as a community, crib, play victims and blame others for all their consistent failings.
All along their community has been using the liberal atmosphere of the west to advance their own advantage. The liberal atomosphere does not seem to appeal to them at all.
Europe is aging and the low population is going to attract the illegal immigrants from Muslim Countries. Europe should restrict immigration only from those countries that have similar political values. They should insist that the country should have a Legal system not dictated by Religion, equal rights for all, democracy, right to preach any religion to qualify for the immigration.
It is also not a bad idea to inculcate the idea of population growth. Singapore does it all the time. If one has to use an Institution like Church, so be it.
Europe should ban and throw out people from countries that are not secular in nature. If you want to be employed as an Engineer, you need to be trained as one. If you want to be accepted as a citizen of a secular country, you should have similar social values, like respect for life, free speech, democracy, place of religion in the society etc.
Where the death of a person is not viewed equally, ( have you seen the way EVERY muslim classifies death of a Muslim from Non-Muslim? ) that place has to grow up to be accomodated in civil society.
It is wrong to attempt to compete with Islam to be more conservative. Exclude them. Do not vote for the politicians who does not uphold the the social values of Europe that is under threat due to this influx.
Organize the people and teach the children the values of the society that you come from. Let them not take it for granted.
Obviously, I am not from Europe but another dilly-dally secular country called India.

If you are part of an inter-faith group, be more pro-active in trying to convert muslims to whatever. You may not be successful but it puts muslims on the back foot. Disheartening for the imam, who was all ready to practice dawa on all. If one does this consistently, it is very likely that muslims will begin to lose all interest in inter-faith meetings. And that is not such a bad outcome after all.
This is our war. Our governments will not take a partisan part unless secular laws are broken. We have to fight this on our own. I think they need to drop the second last word. Islam is radical. There are no two flavours. If they think the problem is just some small subset of Islam, that the rest of it is fine, then they really don't see the problem.
But then at least, this issue is finally out into the open. At least they are talking about it. It's one small step, one giant leap for mankind.

There's one thing I worry about when the European "volk" wakes up. They'll probably also attack the Jews, Far Eastern peoples, Subsaharan Africans and descendants (such as West Indians and African-Americans), Roma, and any swarthy Ahmed or Fatima who didn't change his name at baptism (I've run into people like that)--or who simply left the Middle East in order to get away from the crazies. Indeed, we do have a nasty residue of 19th century nationalism out there.
The culture and piety of the West is not necessarily in the blood. In the first century AD, the New Testament writers--especially Paul--loudly held that one didn't have to be Jewish to belong to the Messiah. This is the true foundation of the West's ability to criticize and exorcize the racism it developed in the wake of the age of discovery. Hence, it is imperative that the next Western awakening admit that one need not descend from Atlantic-to-Urals Europe in order to be Christian.

In all seriousness, this Islam Awareness Week is an absolute farce and you were right to laugh at the preposterousness of a Muslim lecturing British people on the need for tolerance. What you should do is contact the BBC and ask them when there is going to be a Judaism Awareness Week, a Hinduism Awareness Week, or a Sikhism Awareness Week.
Furthermore, speculate on the reason why there is no need for any of the above, why it is that these communities have integrated into the fabric of British life fairly successfully, and yet the Muslims are stuck in ghettoes and backwardness, full of hatred and bile for the values of our country, rioting and blaming their faults on everyone else, when all their faults lie within themselves. I really want to go to one of these Islam Awareness Week meetings and ask them straight to their faces, politely and rationally, to explain why they feel the need to prosletyse under the rubric of "creating good community relations" ...what a joke! Good community relaions to them means everyone bowing down to Mecca.
In the meantime, make friends with some British Sikhs and Hindus, and get them to talk about Muslims and Islam. They, having come from a culture that has known a thousand years of Jihad and Taqqiya will enlighten you greatly. They single handedly blow out of the water every cringing dhimmi lie told about the Wests need to "understand" Islam. They just get on with life and succeed.

c) The Arabs were deeply impressed with the shape of the Moon

Prophet Mohammed worshiped a God named Allah before Islam was founded. Pre-Islamic Allah had three daughters - all mentioned in the Koran and were known as the Trinity Dessert Goddesses, Al-lat(u), Menat and Al-Uzza. [1 God + 3 Gods = 4 Gods.]
All of these Goddesses would have been important to Mohammed’s family or the Quraish. Allatu was Allah’s main daughter; a Mother Goddess, known simply as ‘The Goddess’. Allatu was so popular that she was borrowed by the Greeks and became Leto – Mother of Apollo. Al-Uzza was represented as the morning star - Venus.
But more significantly Menat had a cult which was between Mecca and Medina and was worshiped in the form of a ‘Black Stone’ or the Kaaba at Mecca; the very same black stone that every devout Muslim is required to encircle during his (her) pilgrimage or Hajj to Mecca at Ramadan.
This explains how it could be that Mohammed’s own father was named Allah or Abdullah - which translates into a servant of Allah – even before Islam was created. Mohammed was born into a family known as the Quraish {Webster's Third Dictionary}, who for more than 200 years were the caretakers of the ‘Black Stone’ or Kaaba at Mecca. Before Islam, Mohammed’s religion was known as Kaaba with Allah as God.
Worshiping Moon and Sun Gods and Goddesses were common in ancient times, from the Queen of Sheba in Ethiopia to the Ancient Greeks. Historical facts seem to show that Islam has its foundation in this Mythology, with any Biblical connection being added later – perhaps to give the religion legitimacy in the face of the other powerful regional ‘One God’ religions. (Most things Islamic were developed under the Syrians, who took over Islam after killing Mohammed’s cousin.)

In the end they all seem to agree that a ‘light beating’ was the most appropriate.
Reasons were given for the beating – as the man - under Allah - has the best judgment at all times and he is the ruler of his house.
Is this the latest advertisement for Islam – Woman - Come and be beaten (or killed).
What was so astonishing is that none of the women could come out and say that wife beating was wrong. Metal electric cords – were must frequently used to beat ‘the wife’ – across the Middle East.
It seems that the problems of the Middle Eastern women are not so much from the American Infidel – but are a little closer to home.
In an earlier story a man in Saudi Arabia beat his television presenter wife (using his fist) almost to death – for answering the telephone! So shocking was the incident that it was raised in the British Parliament. The women decided to go against Islamic tradition and pressed charges and her out-of-work-actor-husband was given a physical lashing by the Arab state.
Question – What do Islamic women feel about Jihad? Do they wish to bring the rest of the world’s women under the same restrictions that they face? Should we have pity on the Islamic woman? How do they view a Condy Rice up against women who can not even choose what she wears, let alone thinks or can say?
