Why won't France 2 come clean about the Muhammad Al-Dura episode? Was the whole notorious episode faked? From the magnificent Nidra Poller in the New York Sun, with thanks to Jerry Gordon:
It all started on September 30, 2000, at Netzarim Junction in the Gaza Strip....a Palestinian stringer working for French public TV channel France 2 just happened to capture the scoop of the Middle East conflict: the death in real time of a 12-year-old Palestinian boy, targeted by heartless Israeli soldiers who shot at him for 45 minutes until they managed to mangle his father and kill the boy. Mohamed Al Dura became the poster boy shahid, spurring an unprecedented wave of atrocities against Israeli civilians while an unhealthy swath of public opinion sat on the sidelines and applauded the brave Palestinian desperados....Did it happen? Did Israeli soldiers fire for 45 minutes at a man and a boy crouched behind a concrete culvert? Where was the Israeli position? Were the man and boy in the range of Israeli gunfire? Was the boy shot dead and the man seriously wounded? What was happening that day at Netzarim junction? Are the witnesses reliable?...
Mr. Abu Rahmeh says he filmed the scene for 27 minutes. He says the boy bled for 15 or 20 minutes. Well, there's no blood on the victims, no blood on the ground. And the 27 minutes of footage turn out to be under three minutes.
These and a hundred other precise allegations are duly recorded and analyzed. I have studied massive documentation, screened dozens of hours of visuals. The conclusions of every single honest investigation of this case are the same: there is no convincing evidence that the incident took place. The eyewitness testimony is incoherent and unsubstantiated by verifiable evidence, the filmed "news report" does not show anything that could corroborate the drastic allegations.
Which leaves us with a news report of an incident that never happened.

Their propaganda is good. Their lies are even better. Arafat now has it in writing that he was born in Jerusalem. The French Hospital that issued the death certificate cant be wrong now, can it?
Didn’t a French Muslim journalist do something similar in Bosnia? I seem to remember that a photo (that made it to the cover of TIME mag, if I am not mistaken) of a very skinny man, who was supposedly a starving Bosnian Muslim inmate of a Serbian concentration camp. It turned out later to be a Serb in a refugee camp who was suffering from T.B.
Anyone who is not a member of the flat earth society can understand from the exhaustive studies made by several teams of independant experts that bullets do not swing around corners like a Beckham banana shot.
This was a sick photo op produced in holy wood style by the collaboration of a France 2 cameran (a palestinian) and a gunman who were situated side by side at 90 degress to where Al dura and his father were positioned. Even the bullets in the wall behind entered at right angles!
It has now been proved beyond any reasonable argument thet the whole thing was part of the media intifada against Israel.
But few media have dared to cover this story, least of all the Guilty - France 2.
Much was made of the Dan Rather fiasco by bloggers throughout the world but the AL Dura fiasco has received little attention.
The "palestinian terrortories" have long been a film studios for the MSM and left wing media and there are endless example of the fabrications at camera.org and honest reporting of the the works of oscar winning fictions made there.
young Al Dura was indeed a shaheed! He died so France two could have a scoop!
I have a lengthy recap of a video presentation I saw of this incident here.
CNN has degenerated to a weather and advertising station and the BBC is probalbly bought up by Arab money.
We need to find money for a 24 hour Jihad watch TV station and bring this stuff out into the open!
A napping man was disturbed by a bunch of urchins playing beneath his window. Annoyed, he arose, leaned out of the window, and said, "Don't you kids know they're giving away free figs in the market?"
Overjoyed, the kids disappeared, leaving the street quiet, and the man went back to his nap.
But a minute or two later, he jumped up and said, "What? Free figs and I'm not going out to get any? What sort of a fool am I?"
Islam and the immoderate Left--two skilled and overly persuasive self-deceivers.

This report gives the complete story.
Here is one interesting fact The SUN fails to mention:- In reality, although the news organization was French, the photojournalist who actually filmed the shooting was a Palestinian named Talal Abu Rahma, who lives in Gaza.
I hope for the french-mens sake that frog is halal
A couple of years ago, two French Jews produced a movie, "Decryptage", that deconstructs the biased reporting that comes out of Israel/Palestine in general, and France in particular.
They point to two underlying causes -- French guilt over the Holocaust and French guilt over the colonization of North Africa. Marry that to the embedding of western reporters in an exotic locale, where they actually enjoy pretty luxurious living conditions as compared to a bona fide war zone and a general desire to be seen on the side of the apparent underdog. Then top it off with relying on Arab journalists to portray events with any honesty. Even the CBC's notoriously anti-Israel biased Neil MacDonald admits on camera that there is a real problem with material provided by Arab journalists.
