Muslims in Holland spit on portrait of Theo van Gogh

Apparently the killer of Theo van Gogh was not alone in thinking him a blasphemer. This article, "Marokkanen spugen op portret Van Gogh," is in Dutch. The headline means "Moroccans spit on portrait of van Gogh." The article also says that they chanted, "Hamas, Hamas."

It is interesting that the Dutch paper identifies the spitters as "Moroccans." Obviously they think that to identify them as Muslims would be unfair, unwarranted, racist. But Theo van Gogh never attacked Moroccans. He never made a film about bad old Morocco. They are spitting on the image because they are Muslim, and they consider him a blasphemer.

But of course, to take any notice of this is just trying to stir up hatred.

You know, every act of muslim hatred wakes up non-muslims. From the fatwa on Salman Rushdie to September 11, to Bali, to Beslan and now to Theo's murder, more and more people are waking up to what Islam really is.

Goddam, where are the Nazis when you need them?... oh wait. The Muslims are the Nazis now.

How long before they loot and burn down the Anne Frank museum?

How long before they loot and burn down ALL of Europe's great museums? Plenty of "idols" in the Louvre. Winged Victory, any one? The Venus de Milo?

Wake up my friends in the Netherlands! A muslim is a muslim where ever he resides or may have come from. They still read the same Quran, they still read the same Hadith! HELLO ?

Voltaire, I find it astonishing that notwithstanding the series of atrocities you mention, very little has changed in the way we as a society are perceiving or addressing the danger. All day long, in the newspapers and television -- with the exception of a few select articles and web sites -- there is the constant drone about the "root causes of terrorism". Tony Blair and the OIC, the New York Times and the BBC, and of course, the experts at the Royal Institute of International Affairs and other ME think tanks all tell us that Israel and the neocons are to blame for the WTC and Iraq, Bali and Beslan, and for the fact that the entire Arab world has translated less books in the last 1,000 years than Spain does in a single year. Perhaps, like the proverbial butterfly's wings, what we say and do in our small corner of the universe will eventually reverberate around the world but I fear that Islam is so adept at Taqiyya and kitman, so cognizant of European senstivities to being labelled "racist", so driven by its conquer and subjugate meme, that blood will have to run in the streets before most of the West wakes up.

Spitting, throwing rocks, damaging tombstones, slitting throats.......Just another day in the life of an illiterate reptile.

The murder of Dutch filmmaker Theo Van Gogh symbolizes the collision of enormous forces existing in Europe today. Europe is caught in a downward spiral of forces which is bound to produce an ugly outcome. Social demands of the welfare state and an aging population have run into demographic realities and structural economic disincentives which reinforce each other in cannibalizing the income stream to the extent that the capital base is in increasing jeopardy. The solutions are not likely to be well received. Population growth is 50% of the replacement level and the only source of immigration is from poor Muslim countries Long term demographics estimate the median age in 2050 in Europe will be 52.3 years compared with 35.4 in the US. Social policies have placed an untenable demand on the tax base through high marginal tax rates in Old Europe. The Muslim population is already about 4% throughout Europe and close to 10% in France. Immigration is the only real peaceful short term solution. However, the xenophobia in Europe is growing and your story is an illustration of that. For the last four years the most popular name for newborn boys in Brussels has been Mohammed. It is only a matter of time until the xenophobia becomes more extreme as a result of the immigration needed to satisfy the needs of the welfare state. This will be exacerbated by the dysfunctional economic incentives in place. The result is likely to be extreme social unrest combined with economic decline. I think containing these forces is problematic, particularly in Germany which, as countries go, does not have a history of success in keeping forces like this contained. I am particularly concerned by Germany's extreme swing over the last 60 years from a society with a very strong martial element to the almost total pacifist culture today. To me it seems that such a swing does not result in a natural resting place for national character and is likely to be temporary particularly when overwhelming pressures build up. That is one of the reasons I was not totally thrilled with the DOD's plan to reposition US forces. The question is not whether there are extraneous threats to Europe or whether Europe is a good springboard to other theaters. The issue is from our perspective that we may just want those troops in Germany.

And are US troops going to put down the muslim menace?

Good posts, why on earth is europes shortfall in population growth being filled mainly by muslim immigration though? There are many people from africa, eastern europe, asia who would like to live and work in the eu, so why are it's leaders so keen on muslim immigration?

It surely is part of the eurabia phenomenon, a deliberate policy which is leading to the resentment on the part of the native inhabitants so rightly referred to by the previous posts.

I really do fear now for the stability of our societies in europe, this lunacy can only lead to civil unrest eventually, we have weak governments who can't even control the antics of a few lunatics, what the hell could they do if we get massive civil disturbances?

But, I still don't see why you Americans should be expected to keep troops in Germany, how can you go on trying to protect the europeans from their own stupidity? I have to say I've been embarrassed today by the comments I've seen and heard from people here on the result of the US election, it has been quite shocking and depressing, the anti-american and anti-bush vitriol is flowing thick and fast, mostly from the thick and not very fast thinking I would add.

Keep on keeping on people, as one of your many fine gifts to the world, Curtis Mayfield (pbuh) used to so beautifully sing.

The Dutch Maroccan community is now blaming Ayaan Hirsi Ali of being 'an accomplice' to Van Gogh's murder, because her criticism of islam caused the anger that killed Van Gogh. Hirsi Ali was threatened she would be next in the arab note that was stuck with a knife to Van Gogh's chest...

Klacht tegen Ayaan Hirsi Ali wegens 'medeplichtigheid'

We must be wise to the fact--and spread the word--that calling the victims the perpetrators is Islamic modus operandi. That is, when a Moslem kills a non-Moslem, it is always the non-Moslem's fault. Because of the victim's perceived actions, there was nothing else that the Moslem could do but what he did: kill.

Calling the victims what they are themselves is part of this. The Arab Moslems were allied with Hitler and the Nazis, since before WWII, and it was their "Mufti" who urged Hitler to perfect the technological means of Jew-extermination.

Yet who is called "Nazis" by the howling Arab mobs in the Israeli territories that these Jew-hating racists occupy? Who is shown adorned with Swastikas in their cartoons?

And where is Hitlers "Mein Kampf" a best-seller? Israel? Wrong! Try the Arab-occupied Israeli territories called "The West Bank" by its occupiers.

The Dutch speak up in outrage when a Moslem on jihad kills a Dutchman. When they dare touch on the reason for the murder, there are howls of "bigot."

Who are the bigots? Those who kill others that speak up against their ideology (Islam), or those that expose the murderer as having killed in the name of the ideology?

We, who see Islam for what it is, an ideology advocating murder and mayhem against those that dare call it that, are blamed by the adherents of the ideology of violence for inciting hate.

When the Koran is rife with hatred for Jews (who saw Mahound for what he was--a brigand and plunderer), intolerance for Christians, and calls for death or conversion for all other non-believers in Islam, incitement to hatred and violence is put on our shoulders.

Yes, I am a bigot. I am a bigot when it comes to an ideology such as Nazism. I am a bigot as concerns the ideology that masquerades as a religion. I am bigoted against any ideology that wants to kill or enslave me. As Islam is such an ideology, being called a bigot will not stop me from fighting this ideology wherever I find it.

But it gets worse, much worse. Dude, where's my country?

The Dutch are having to wake up to the fact that this is not the work of a lone 'lunatic'.

The following titles of Telefraaf stories speaks volumes regarding the extent of what they have to face!

1. "Letter addressed to Hirsi Ali and politicians" Deals with threats against Hirsi Ali in the letter found on Mohammed B. Van Gogh's assassin:

Suzan, here's more life on dhimmi Holland

Moroccan sociologist Fatema Mernissi was awarded on November 4th the Erasmus Prize, the most prestigious cultural-scientific award in the Netherlands.

She then proceeded to state that the suspected murderer of Theo van Gogh is "a product of Dutch society". She further stated that he was Dutch (the fact that he has Dutch-Moroccan double nationality doesn't mean a thing, since Morocco does not permit Moroccans to give up their own nationality).

According to Mernissi, Dutch society is co-responsible for the murder: "We are criminals too, because we have not taught these young people how to communicate in a normal manner". The society must do everything in its power to draw into society youngsters such as the offender who are wrestling with "a sense of rejection", "society as a whole should ask itself how things could have come to a point where a 26 year old young man gets so tangled up in loneliness and confusion".

So, this is how long it has taken by the Moroccan-muslim community to play victim and blame the world for their confusion, loneliness and general grieving. Loneliness? Were there not 8 people arrested in connection to this murder? Does the murderer pray alone at the Al Tawheed mosque in Amsterdam, which remains open in spite of its alleged links with Al-Qaeda? I don't think so. I'd say that he is in the company of many.

And if this were not enough, see the the following excerpt from the same News Bulletin:

"Police have had the Biblical command "Thou shalt not kill" removed from a wall in Rotterdam. A 52 year old man who tried to prevent the cleanup was arrested. A police spokesman said yesterday that removing the text dovetailed with the national instruction to police to be "extra aler for possible signals of unrest and provocation" following the killing of Islam critic Theo van Gogh".

There we go, the Dutch lying themselves down again in the hope that appeasement will now, although it never did before.

- the suspected murderer of Theo van Gogh is "a product of Dutch society"

Yes, we got that same pathetic excuse after the horrific Sydney gang rapes of Australian women by Muslim men. According to one of their revolting spokespersons, these animals were "Australians". A product of Australian society. Typical lies. Typical deflections. Typical victim mentality. Muslims are never at fault for anything, you see. It is always somebody else's fault. This is a sure sign of incredible lack of maturity, of degenerate mentality, of lack of any morality, ethics, soul, conscience. Psychopaths.

I'm horrified by video of the "Thou shall not kill."
