One of the most popular politicians in the Netherlands said Friday the country's democracy is under threat and called for a five-year halt to non-Western immigration in the wake of the killing of a Dutch filmmaker by a suspected Muslim radical."We are a Dutch democratic society. We have our own norms and values," right-wing lawmaker Geert Wilders told The Associated Press in an interview. "If you chose radical Islam you can leave, and if you don't leave voluntarily then we will send you away. This is the only message possible."
In his first interview with the foreign media since the slaying of filmmaker Theo van Gogh on Nov. 2, Wilders said his own life has been repeatedly threatened. He said he has begun living under state protection and has even had to stay away from his own home....
Wilders said he is not opposed to mainstream Islam but is concerned by studies saying 10 percent of the Dutch Muslim population -- or about 100,000 people -- support radical Islamic views.
He cited a report by Dutch intelligence saying recruitment for jihad, or holy war, is taking place in as many as 20 mosques in the Netherlands, and said they should be closed and their imams, or preachers, arrested and deported.
"If we don't do anything ... we will lose the country that we have known for centuries. People don't want the Netherlands to be lost, and this is something that I get angry about and I am going to fight for, to keep the country Dutch," he said.

The report concludes that the ethnic ghettos must be broken up and the immigrants made to become Dutch if the country is not to come apart. But it is probably already too late for that. In the first place, trying to break up the Muslim ghettoes would be like trying to dissolve San Francisco’s Chinatown or New York’s Harlem.

I still stand on my previous posting that Holland needs to buy a giant "BUG-ZAPPER" to
kill those "Mosque-E-Toes" that are threatening to suck the lifeblood from the Dutch.

Nobody listened to Pim Fortuyn and look what's happened - the country is on the verge of civil war.
As I've stated repeatedly - and the pointy headed Left needs to get this into their empty cones - immigration is a privelege, not a right. Holland has a right to close its borders until they get a grip on this situation.
We need to do all we can to support our brave brothers and sisters in Holland who are taking bold action against this very real threat to their way of life.

Nobody listed to Fortuyn - he was dismissed as a bigot and a crank. Few listen to us for the same reason. I hope they begin to understand before there is a real tragedy to get people to, as Hugh has asserted, "stop engaging in trivia and pay attention."
Why is the epithet "right-wing" placed in front of Wilders' name? What makes him "right-wing"? Is he "right-wing" the way that Pim Fortuyn was labelled "right-wing"? Or the way any Israeli who does not want to immediately roll over and play dead for the Jihadists, but to do it in stages? Or the way Le Monde, and especially Eric Rouleau, used to label the Maronites fighting for their lives and their right to live as Maronites in Lebanon were routinely described -- many of them hardscrabble farmers in the northern mountains of Lebanon, not plutocrats -- as "right-wing"?
Would it be fair to say that anyone who opposes measures that will hasten the islamization of Western Europe will now be labelled, by the BBC, RFI, Channel 4, Canal Cinq, the RAI, CNN, and probably the Disney Channel and even the Weather Channel, as "right-wing"?
If that is the case, many in this country, who had they been alive would gladly have had Franklin Roosevelt first Clear It With Sidney, and would love to have their weekend funnies read to them by Fiorello La Guardia, are going to have to resign themselves to the fact that for the crime of being clear-eyed and sensible about threats, in a John-Roy-Carlson and Pierre-van-Paassen sort of way, they are going to be dismissed as "right wing." And the same kind of labelling, only more so, in a Europe with a political class now frightened, confused, and in complete desarroi and denial, is already well underway. No doubt Ayaan Hirst Ali is next to be called "right-wing." And anti-Nazi resistance fighter Oriana Fallaci. And Pavel Kohout -- of Prague Spring heroism. And so many more -- Michnik, Geremek, and so on. So be it. Ainsi soit-il.
Washington D.C. are you paying attention? It seems some are getting the right idea although it may be too late to avoid a lot of bloodshed in Europe. Here in the US we still are able to fight from a position of superior strength and numbers. Time to stop all immigration from enemy countries and get damn picky about all other countries. The Dutch have been up to abortion and euthanasia for a long time.
Young Nederlanders have been deprived of actual Christian teaching and so there is a huge spiritual vacuum there (and in many other places in the West). This vacuum will be filled by Mohammedanism or some other "ism". It is inevitable.
