The same thing could be said of President Bush's post-9/11 initiatives in the so-called War on Terror - they are not the cause of the War on Terror, they ARE the War on Terror.
Too bad this is lost on Mr. Chase - this might damage his reputation as the world's foremost authority on Jihad.

What the leftists say about Bush is of course, nonesense, but it is also naive to think pretexts do not exist either. One mistake made by both sides of the debate is that pretexts are not the same as justifications. You bring up the pretext to understand the process and reactions, even if those results are entirely unjustifiable. The question is that whether the US would have been better off if stayed out of the political arena of the Middle east except for US national interests and for protection of Israel. But the US administration involvement went beyond these interests in the past.

Prior to 1953, the United States was perceived as the "good power" among Iranians. The US had helped us save the Iranian province of Azerbayejan from the Soviet aggression, had helped social and economical progress through many programs, and has acted as counter balance against the British and the Russian who, for over a century, had played an imposing negative role in Iranian politics. America was the "good guy" who everybody loved.

Then in 1953, the Eisenhower's administration orchestrated a coup against the nationalist prime minister Mosaddeq. Why? I am not sure. There was indeed pressure from the British, and the US administration was very suspecious toward the third world nationalist movements. But Mosaddeq was not a communist neither were his cabinet and administration. And he had successfully supressed early radical Islamist groups.

In numerous meetings with the US officials, Mosaddeq had indicated that with proper support from the US he was going to move Iran toward the west. But his overturns went unnoticed and he was toppled. For a quarter of a century afterward, the Shah's regime involved the Americans in everything, from the creation of his brutal secret service (SAVAK) to suppress of every single voice of democracy and reform.

The hostage crisis in Iran in 1979 was in fact orchestrated and supported by a coalition of leftist and so-called revolutionary groups, Khomeini later on took advantage of it. Among the most vocal supporters of that stupid act were secular leftist or nationalist groups who now yearn for the American support. The hostage taking would not have been possible if the public was not so mad at the US policies in Iran between 1953 and 1979. It is a fact of history that Khomeini himself at first was not sure whether to support the act or stop it. But after consulting with his advisors and gauging the public opinion, he decided that it would give him the chance to push the moderate nationalist groups out of power. Which indeed happen.

These actions are indeed unjustifiable, but they do not happen in a vaccum. One would want to ask what would have happened if the US had supported and cooperated with Mosaddeq, the only democratic and nationalist leader in the region who had successfully blocked both communists and Islamists. the world might have looked quite different today.

The tourists' cameras clicked wildly as the tour guide removed the full-body black veil worn by Muslim women in some countries, footage broadcast by Localeyes television showed.

"The Japanese were surprised to see the Little Mermaid veiled, and clicked madly and applauded as she was unveiled and the statue appeared," Wido Schlichting, who filmed the scene for Localeyes, told AFP.

Schlichting was the first person on the scene, having been tipped off by an informant.

The Little Mermaid, one of Denmark's biggest tourist attractions, is based on the character created by Hans Christian Andersen in an 1837 fairytale.

The burka incident is just the latest of a slew of mishaps that have befallen her.

In the past 40 years, the 90-year-old mermaid has been decapitated twice, most recently in January 1998 after a 1990 attempt failed. She has had a bra and knickers painted on her, has been entirely covered in paint on more than one occasion, and has had her right arm cut off.

In September 2003, attackers tossed the bronze artwork in the water, where police later recovered it.

In the fairytale, the little mermaid saves the life of a shipwrecked prince and, in a quest to win his love, agrees to become human. But to do so she must give up her voice as well as her mermaids tail, and if the prince weds another, she will turn into foam on the sea and disappear forever.

Sculptor Edward Eriksen was commissioned by Danish brewer Carl Jacobsen to create a statue of the Little Mermaid to sit on a granite stone at Langelinie Pier, wistfully looking for her prince.

The sculpture stands 165 centimetres tall and weighs 175 kilograms.

The original statue, cast in bronze, was presented to the City of Copenhagen on August 23, 1913.

Perhaps the EU should vote favorably on the Turkish admission later this week. It is important to note that the vote is not for admission cut only to determine if negotiations for admission should commence. Actual admission, if approved, is still at least ten years away.

Thank you for that link to the little Murmaid in Denmark. I posted it over at LGF. I think it is important that people know that many hare having serious reservations about Turkish EU membership into the "Christian Club" and they are being ignored.

I saw a brief clip of Mr. Chase uttering similar stuff; I remember vividly how he kept on repeating about George Bush, "I don't like him. I just don't like him. I just don't like him.", as if he had found a buzz line in a comedy routine that roused the audience.

I imagine it would be difficult while having coffee in Cannes with European friends, having just seen the 'daring, courageous' Fahrenheit 911, to say something even mildly neutral about George Bush. The ad hominem reasoning, the irrationality of opinion, the judgment clouded with bias, you would think, would somehow tug at the consciousness of a not-unintelligent person, until that person at least reconsidered a few things. But that seems to be an unwarranted expectation.

Well, we know that Jihadists have been crossing and attempting to cross the Mexican border; emergency procedures for the San Diego school system were found on a CD confiscated in Iraq; and, of course, so-called 'al-Qaeda' is doing the best it can to acquire bio-chemical weapons and get access to crop dusters. These are all irrefutable facts. Mr. Chase has reason to be concerned about Jihad in his own backyard.

And what does George Bush have to do with these things? Does Mr. Chase know how Jihadists and even 'moderate Muslims' feel about Hollywood-the 'Jew infested' propaganda monster at war with Islam--an opinion encourage by 'enlightened' media sources like the BBC, that did a special piece on 'American soft power', that surely includes a few of Mr. Chase's own films? Does he really think that George Bush has anything to do with these kinds of opinions?

It must be very difficult to say words or think thoughts that are positive of someone you simply 'don't like'. But, Mr. Chase must entertain this thought: As far as hatred, disgust, aggression, and the potential for violence, I mean 'indiscriminate murder' kind of violence, against people and localities related to Mr. Chase's vocation, comedy in Hollywood film and American television, George Bush is not his problem. Islam is his problem, and the problem existed long before George Bush even considered running for president.

My posting was not in defence of Arabs or Islamists, but about the recent history of my own nation and the relationship between the US and Iran, as wellas the context of the alleged animousity of early 80s. Very little of that hostility is left and the Iranian nation is, by all account, the most pro-western people in the Middle East. the rulers are, of course, a different story.

As for reclaiming the past, we never lost the Persian culture and it remained alive and well. In defence of my ancestors I should say that they always picked from the invading cultures what they thought was better than their own at the time: Arabic writing but not the Arabic language, the religion of Islam but not the Arab customs, etc. The fact is that Zoroastrianism was, at the time, as ruthless and corrupted as Islam is today. Iran of Sassanid was ruled by corrupt Zoroastrian clerics, who were brutally repressing every opposition, including massacres of Mazdakists and Manavists, Christians in Armenia etc, all well documented.

In response, the repressed Persian nation did not resist much the invading Arab army in 7th century, in the same way that it offered little resistence against the Alexander army 800 years before. In our culture, we never sacrificed ourselves for the rulers who were not worthy of defending. Our sense of nationalism never blinds us to the harsh realities. That's why many believe that an invading US army will also be welcomed by Iranians.

2-)The current conflict between America and Islamic nations was begun after the first Gulf War by none other than Saddam Hussein. Mr. Hussein told the Arab media in 1991, the Americans "are going to be swimming in blood." So, from a chronological perspective you have not even a leg to stand your commenary on.

3-)The current Islamic jihad is GLOBAL. India for instance was the first target of al-Qaeda, which was founded in 1988 (In Pakistan) to attack and destry India with. America might well have been attacked for no other reason than this. After all, what are India's transgressions in the Middle East? Yet, it has faced a twelve centuries-long jihad with the Middle East. And Yugoslavia has had a similar conflict raging for at least eight centuries. Attention AOL users:

You are being monitored. After 9 years, I cancelled my account. The problem seemed simple enough.. I wrote a "ditty" re: "the Night Before Christmas" and sent it to myself from my AOL master screen name, to another screen name on the same AOL account. The intent was to post it to both the Jihad and Dhimmi boards. When I switched screen names, I could see 2 unread email messages but was unable to view or open either one of them. Very strange.

I believe AOL is censoring mail. After a 23 minute call to AOL (which by the way was routed to India), I had to say "cancel my account" 10 times before they agreed to do so. They continued to insist that this was a technical problem, but I must say my inability to read email which is clearly in my mailbox has been a cause of concern for about the last 4 months. My son and my husband love AOL. I can do without it.

Not sure how many of us/you are AOL subscribers, but since accessing this site www.jihadwatch.org or www.dhimmiwatch.org, through AOL, each and every time I "sign off of AOL", my computer goes into a download mode with AOL with a "security update" message. I think I'm being monitored.

Mr. Spencer, I hope you get this, and if you do not, I hope that one/some of the readers will get this to you.

I fail to see the point of an ISP like AOL forcing downloads whenever I sign on to or off of this site, and wonder how many other kind users are unwittingly subjected to the same type of tracking.

UK Action Alert: Bishop Richard Harries of Oxford

On this morning's 'Thought for the Day' on BBC Radio 4 (For those of you not in the UK - this is BBC Radio's flagship current affairs programme) the Bishop of Oxford saw fit to discuss the merits of Turkey joining the EU. With entirely predictable results.

According to him (wait for it) - It's the Christian thing to do! Apparently respect for the 'other' demands it. Oh yes and it would strike fear in the heart of Islamists as it will show them what Islam 'properly understood' really is. Besides, said the bishop, no disconnect whatsoever between Islam and European values.

It is especially the Islam 'properly understood' bit that got me. Besides this 'proper understanding' leading him to ludicrous positions on the effect of Islam on the West; it is just plain arrogance! What he is basically saying is: "I have seen Islam and it is fuzzy, warm and kind. Just like me in fact." No matter that those who study Islam all their lives come to totally different conclusions. I'll be the arbiter. Case closed.

The clincher was that he used Kemal Ataturk's magnanimous statement to mothers of dead allied soldiers after WW1(They are our sons...) as proof of how 'properly understood' Islam looks. No mention of the fact that Ataturk is the 'bogeyman' of the majority of those who claim to 'properly understand' Islam in Turkey.

People (especially those who should know better!) should not be allowed to get away with this kind of insipid nonsense anymore. They either need to be challenged or educated.

Please help me in doing the following:
* Write the Bishop a respectful letter challenging his position.
* Send him a copy of 'Islam unveiled'.

Yes, Robert, these people forget not only a long string of events; they also forget that they themselves decided to call the Islamofascists "fundamentalists" back in 1979 in order to make us Evangelicals look un-American. They forget as well that Islam has long been an actor rather than a re-actor (albeit not the only one in history) when it comes to war, terrorism, and political violence.

By the way, Report, we Chrstians do indeed follow the Old Testament. Maybe we don't think the civil or ceremonial laws of ancient Israel still apply (apart from the general equity thereof), but the Ten Commandments and the Love the Lord your God and Love your neighbor as yourself verses were in the books of Moses last time I looked; and neither Jesus nor the apostles had any compunction about quoting the Old Testament to substantiate an doctrinal or ethical point.

Old Testmant prophecies have taught us all to hope--and even our whole Western idea of progress, including Marx's linear view of history, ultimately was culled from the prophets via Augustine and the New Testament (Bertrand Russell once accused Marx of a cosmic optimism which only theism could justify--and I think Lord Russell was right). The Psalms gave taught us to prayand sing since apostolic times. The Proverbs and Ecclesiastes have taught us wisdom for just as long.

Also, I, for one, think if we dusted off the Old Testament penalty for theft--restituion with interest to the victim (it's in Exodus) rather than incarceration--we might do a lot to discourage a lot of petty crime.

I'll bet you thought Islam's hudud punishment of amputating the thief's hand was in the Old Testament rather than something inherited from Arabian tribal custom or invented by Islam itself. But it isn't in the Old Testament.

Deuteronomy 17's stricture on the king being subject to Torah was a favorite quote for those Westerners who opposed royal absolutism and advocated the political supremacy of law back in the 16th and 17th centuries; while the observation that wicked Nimrod was the first one called a king in Scripture (rather than Noah or Shem, who may have been alive at the time) was one of their other favorite texts quoted against people who declared kingship by primogeniture the only legitimate form of government. The same early constitutionalists made much hay out of David covenanting with the elders of Israel before he could take up rule, too (II Samuel 5). Ultimately, our Western costitutionalism rests on the Old Testament's ambiguous attitude towards earthly power-holders.

I do get tired of people who know the OT only second-hand, and usually from professional disparagers at that, declaring it "inferior". For this Christian, it remains four-fifths of the Bible (much as I love the New Testament, too); and some marvellous literature to boot.

Since it's Friday night here in Far Formosa, I wish all "Saturday people" a happy commemoration of God's resting from creating all things. Since Sunday's following that, I wish all "Sunday people" a joyous commemoration of Jesus' resurrection (and in so doing, I confess as well his death on the cross for our sins--another reason why I can't believe the Qu'ran).

"Srebrenica" - Code Word to Silence Critics of US Policy in the Balkans ANTIWAR

The Bosnian Serb military stand accused of committing some of the worst human rights crimes since World War II during and following the battle for Srebrenica in 1995. HOLOCAUST! GENOCIDE! ETHNIC CLEANSING! Claims of 7,000 (or 8,000, or 10,000, or whatever figure is needed to elicit the desired response) Muslim men and boys slaughtered and Dutch troops accused of failing to stop the slaughter! Five year later the allegations not only persist, but are accepted as fact by a compliant and unquestioning media. Yet in five years fewer than 2000 bodies have been discovered in an area where war raged for four years and even those bodies have not been identified as Muslim or Serb, nor how they died.

Why then has there been a flurry of articles in recent days regarding the alleged massacre of thousands of Bosnian Muslim fighters that occurred over five years ago? Articles such as, "Holbrooke Mourns Srebrenica, urges Reconciliation," (Reuters, 11 July); "The Battle of Srebrenica Is Now Over the Truth," by David Rohde (New York Times, 9 July) and "Harrowing pilgrimage for Srebrenica Muslims," by Rory Carroll (Guardian [London] 12 July), are all spewing their anti-Serb bias.

The Code word is "Srebrenica." Srebrenica equates to holocaust. Srebrenica equates to genocide. Srebrenica equates to ethnic cleansing. And because claims of mass graves and genocide in Kosovo are being discredited, what better way to continue to demonize the Serbs than for the American people to be reminded of Srebrenica? After all, there is still the unfinished business of dismembering Yugoslavia by amputating Montenegro, Sanjak and Vojvodina. The New World Order beast will not be satisfied until its belly is full and that requires the American people to accept NATO´s next intervention in the Balkans; however, the American people must again be prepared mentally to accept more military action just as they accepted 78-days of dropping bombs on an innocent people. They have to be conditioned to say once again, "After all, the Serbs deserve it!"

During his visit to Washington, D.C. to attend a Congressional briefing in the office of Congressman Dennis Kucinich of Ohio on 19 July, I had a chance to speak with former Canadian Ambassador to Yugoslavia, James Bissett, who has been openly critical of his country´s participation in the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. Last year, he received a phone call from three Dutch military historians who wanted to meet with him to talk about Srebrenica. Ambassador Bissett informed them that he had not been at Srebrenica and could not, therefore, speak as an eyewitness on the subject. However, because of his broad knowledge of the area and the circumstances of the Bosnian War, the Dutch historians still wanted to meet with him. Among other topics, they spoke about Nasir Oric, the dreaded Muslim commander in Srebrenica who had mounted commando raids against surrounding Serbian villages whose remaining population were mainly elderly Serbs, many in their 80s, who refused to leave their homes. Even these poor souls were not spared, but were slaughtered by having their throats slit. Bill Schiller wrote of Oric in the Toronto Star, 16 July 1995, "On a cold and snowy night, I sat in his living room watching a shocking video version of what might had been called Nasir Oric´s Greatest Hits. There were burning houses, dead bodies, severed heads, and people fleeing. Oric grinned throughout admiring his handiwork. ´We ambushed them,´ he said when a number of dead Serbs appeared on the screen. The next sequence of dead bodies had been done in by explosives: ´We launched those guys to the moon,´ he boasted. When a footage of a bullet-marked ghost town appeared without any visible bodies, Oric hastened to announce: ´We killed 114 Serbs there.´ Later there were celebrations, with singers with wobbly voices chanting his praises."

The three Dutch military historians and Ambassador Bissett recalled that Serbian General Radko Mladic has protested the misuse of the so-called "safe haven" of Srebrenica by Oric and warned that continued attacks on surrounding villages would bring a response from the Serbian forces. Forewarned, Oric had pulled his armed troops, including Mujahedin soldiers who had been imported from many of the Islamic countries, out of Srebrenica three days before the final push began. According to the Ambassador, when Serbian General Mladic entered Srebrenica, he entered a city that was mostly devoid of its fighting men. Accused of attacking a "safe haven" by the media and Muslim propaganda, the Serbs were even vilified for putting refugees, mostly women and children, from Srebrenica on buses and sending them to Muslim-held territory. The tragic scenes of the refugees were shown over and over again on TV; yet within a few days, the refugees were seen eating fruit, smoking cigarettes, washing clothes and being housed - thanks to the UN. The Bosnian government refused to provide humanitarian assistance for its own people, preferring that the world see a suffering Muslim population as part of their propaganda ploy.

Tim Butcher of the Daily Telegraph, London (24 July 1995), wrote regarding Srebrenica, "After five days of interviews the United Nations chief investigator into alleged human rights abuses during the fall of Srebrenica has not found any firsthand witnesses of atrocities."

An International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) report, document #37, dated September 13, 1995 states: "Approximately 5,000 Srebrenica Muslim troops left the enclave prior to its fall. The Muslim government has admitted that these men were reassigned to other units of its armed forces. The fact that family members were not informed of it was justified by the obligation to keep it a military secret." The ICRC further reported that there were indications that sporadic clashes broke out between the Muslim soldiers who wanted to stay and fight and other soldiers and civilians who wanted to flee. In some cases, the names of "missing" soldiers are listed as many as two and three times. As previously stated, approximately fewer than 2,000 bodies have been found in graves. Considering that the civil war in Bosnia had lasted over four years, this could not exactly be called a "genocide" when compared to other massacres taking place all over the world such as in Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, and the Indonesia.

A representative in the Bosnian and Federal Parliaments, Ibran Mustafic, gave an explosive interview on Aug. 15, 1996, to Slobodna Bosnia ("Free Bosnia," A Sarajevo newspaper). Mustafic was quoted as saying that the betrayal of Srebrenica "was consciously prepared and that the Bosnian president and the army command were involved in this business," and that was to sacrifice Srebrenica in order to gain the sympathy of the West. Of his internment in a Serbian jail, he writes, "I should have died. They [the Bosnian Muslim authorities] don´t appreciate living people. They appreciate the dead because they cannot talk."

Of course we must not overlook Pulitzer Prize winner David Rohde, who was given a 15-day sentence for entering into Serbian territory with forged documents. He should thank his lucky stars that he was not captured by Muslim fighters or he would have been just another dead journalist, as was ABC´s producer David Kaplan, who, according to Yossef Bodansky ("Offensive in the Balkans") was out of range of Serbian forces when he was killed. Regardless, Kaplan´s death was blamed on the Serbs. And what earned Mr. Rohde his coveted award? It was based merely on the discovery of "a pair of glasses, a walking stick and a putrefying leg sticking out of the ground," according to his book, "End Game," in an area where men had fought for over three years. Some genocide!

The mind set of U.S. officials who were in charge of "peacekeeping" efforts might best be understood by considering the view of our current U.N. Ambassador, Richard Holbrooke, who spoke of "The 1995 massacre of thousands of Bosnians Moslems in the U.N.-proclaimed ´safe area´ of Srebrenica." (Holbrooke mourns Srebrenica, urges reconciliation, Reuters, July 11). Mr. Holbrooke fails to mention that the so-called "safe area," which was supposed to be demilitarized, was used by the Bosnian Muslims as a staging area to attack surrounding Serbian villages.

The same diplomat, Mr. Holbrooke, said during an interview with Ted Koppel on November 6, 1995 (New Yorker), "The Vietcong were dedicated ideologues, committed to a long-term struggle. These guys [the Serbs] aren´t ideologues; they´re just murderous assholes." [Those are not my offensive words, but the words coming from the bigoted and racist mouth of our well-seasoned US diplomat who represents us at the UN!). Mr. Holbrooke praised the communist Vietcong, who killed over 58,000 Americans and denigrated the brave Serbian people who fought, suffered and sacrificed as our Allies during two world wars.

Yasushi Akashi, former UN Representative in Bosnia, admitted in the Washington Times of 1 November 1995, that "it is a fact that the Bosnian government forces have used the ´safe areas´ of not only Srebrenica, but Sarajevo, Tuzla, Bihac, Gorazde for training, recuperation and refurbishing their troops." In other words, the so-called safe areas were used as military posts to train Mujahedin fighters from Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Turkey and the entire Islamic world, free to commit their treachery by attacking Serbian villages and returning like thieves in the night back to the safety of their UN protectors who conveniently looked the other way to these violations. Prior to the events at Srebrenica, these "Holy Warriors of Islam" had attacked 42 surrounding Serbian villages and over 3,000 Serbian villagers had been slaughtered without fear of being reprimanded or punished by the UN Yet, when Serbs were provoked to retaliate against these Muslim assaults from these so-called "safe-areas," they were condemned by the entire world.

Further proof of the violations of proclaimed "safe areas" by Bosnian Muslim forces was provided by Lt. Gen. Sir Michael Rose, former UNPROFOR commander who stated that Muslims "shoot on the Serbs to step up the pressure and to obtain a fresh intervention from NATO."

Yossef Bodansky, Staff Director for the Republican Task Force on Terrorism & Unconventional Warfare, US House of Representatives, writes in his book, "Offensive in the Balkans" that "The UN concluded that a special group of Bosnian Muslim forces, many of whom had served with Islamic terrorist organizations, committed a series of atrocities, including ´some of the worst recent killings,´ against Bosnian Muslim civilians in Sarajevo [another designated "safe area"] as a propaganda ploy to win world sympathy and military intervention. These attacks escalated into premeditated attacks and atrocities committed against Bosnian Serb civilians trying to flee contested areas." Furthermore, Michael Evans and Michael Kallenbach write in the Times (1995), "Thousands of ´missing´ Bosnian Muslim soldiers from Srebrenica who have been at the centre of reports of possible mass executions by the Serbs, are believed to be safe in the northeast of Tuzla." The question that no one seemed to ask was what were armed Muslim troops doing in an area that was supposed to be a demilitarized zone. Instead, the American media bombarded us with images of then US Ambassador to the United Nations, Madeleine Albright in August 1995, as she frantically waved the satellite photo over her head of the plowed field that was the alleged mass grave of 7,000 Muslim men. Proof positive! she claimed, of those who had been slaughtered and whose bodies were lying there only waiting to be exhumed.

While the world´s attention was deliberately focused on Srebrenica by such theatrical antics by Madeleine Albright, real ethnic cleansing of Serbs was taking place in the Krajina where, in August of 1995, over 250,000 were being driven from their ancestral homes, thousands slaughtered, and those too old or infirm to flee, remained only to have their throats slit. Approximately 650,000 Serbs have been driven out of Croatia since 1992 with little prospect of ever returning. It was US military aid and technology that made it possible for Croatian forces to conduct "Operation Storm" in order to achieve their goal of a pure Croatian state that Hitler could only promise. There was no outrage from Congress when Croatian jets bombed and strafed Serbian refugee columns. No outrage to what Charles Krauthammer described in Newsweek (April 5, 1999) as "the largest ethnic cleansing of the entire Balkan wars. Investigators with the war-crimes tribunal in the Hague have concluded that this campaign was carried out with brutality, wanton murder and indiscriminate shelling of civilians.... No denunciation. No sanctions. No bombing. No indignant speeches about ethnic cleansing and the slaughter of innocents. In fact, in justifying the current bombing of Serbia, Clinton made an indirect reference to this Croatian campaign when he credited the ´courageous people in Bosnia and in Croatia´ who ´fought back´ against the Serbs and ´helped to end the war.´ Indeed, they did. Croatia´s savage ethnic cleansing so demoralized the Serbs that they soon agreed to sign the Dayton peace accord of 1995." But where were the media when all this was happening?

"As the media diverted themselves with satellite photos, the fate of the Serbs from Krajina is being forgotten. The search for mass graves was stepped up last autumn. Journalists from all over the world came to Bosnia to look for bodies. Crews from CNN, CBS, BBC, France II, TG1 (Italy), Dutch Television and from elsewhere arrived in August 1996. But they found very little. Some crews did not bother at all to find the soccer field from the satellite photo, because the journalists had already come to believe that there was no mass grave there anyway. However, it was not reported. Moreover, the said photo is being used as alleged evidence of the existence of a mass grave in many articles even today." So why, after five years of unsuccessful efforts to turn the casualties of a tragic civil war, one less bloody than numerous conflicts around the world, into claims of holocaust and genocide, is the specter of Srebrenica being raised again? The answer is that this is an attempt to intimidate and silence the "revisionists" who are questioning our failed foreign policy in the Balkans, a policy based on lies about atrocities in Bosnia and Kosovo and executed in violations of international law, the NATO treaty and the US Constitution.
