DC Watson: A Call To The Worldwide “Infidel” Alliance

DCDUB2004.jpg

A call to anti-dhimmitude by longtime Jihad Watch reader DC Watson:

Oh, you didn’t know? No one’s told you? The threat…to our culture, no one’s said anything to you? What threat? Did you know that radical Muslims consider you an "Infidel" because you're non-Islamic? Let me ask you: when you look into your future, what do you see? Please accompany me through this column. I and millions of our American brothers & sisters have something very important to tell you. You just have to promise not to keep it a secret. Do you remember the morning of September 11th, 2001? We all kissed our loved ones goodbye that morning. We came home that night, but because of Muslims living among us, who in their minds, were commanded by their God to commit murder against us, 3,000 people didn’t. Since that rotten day, with terror-related arrests, convictions, and deportations of Muslims residing in America, and with everything else we have learned, our government still insists on telling us that Islam is a “religion of peace.” Are we supposed to believe that all Muslims in America differ from the Muslims wreaking havoc all over the world? I know a few ex-Muslims who are eager to share their knowledge with everyone: http://www.apostatesofislam.com/main.htm

http://www.faithfreedom.org/

Perhaps you don’t feel that Muslims pose a threat. After all, they’re polite, they smile at you, and they’re soft-spoken, right?

Qur’an: "Believers, take neither Jews nor Christians as friends, for they are friends with one another." (Surah 5:51)

Were you aware that some Muslims residing inside our borders consistently insist that accommodations be made for them even if their demands disrupt American communities, or American businesses’ production schedules?

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/?entry=11174

Did you know that several Muslim “Charities” operating inside the U.S. have been shut down by our government for funneling money to terrorist networks?
http://www.washingtoninstitute.org/media/levitt/levitt081403.htm

When their demands are refused, they accuse us of “religious intolerance.” And even though they’ve broken a city ordinance, or other policies, our “leaders” give in.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1255513/posts

Not all Muslims are bad people. Then again, we discover issues like this:

We’re told that a prominent American Muslim was quoted as saying: "I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future...But I'm not going to do anything violent to promote that. I’m going to do it through education.”

http://www.anti-cair-net.org/

Through education? They’ve been speaking in our schools all over the country, talking to our kids. Is this just a coincidence?

2002: Excelsior Elementary School in Byron, California required seventh-grade students to pretend they're Muslims, wear Islamic clothing, memorize verses from the Qur’an, pray to Allah and even to play "jihad games" in California public schools.

http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=36118

Recently, at Irmo High School, Columbia, SC, a public school teacher, who is Muslim:

• Required the students to create a pamphlet, which would teach people about Islam.

• Told students that the United States is a 'Judeo-Christian-Muslim' nation…according to the beliefs of the founding fathers.

http://www.anti-cair-net.org/press_040_04

"Infidels," is this what you want? Is this what you pay taxes for?

Earlier, I asked you what you see when you look into your future.
Imagine a few of the possibilities in an Islamic State:

• Being forced to renounce your current faith and convert to Islam, or being tortured for refusing.

http://www.acpp.org/uappeals/2004/040518s1.html

• Public flogging if you’re caught drinking alcohol.

http://www.holycrime.com/CrimeFlog9.asp

• Even if you haven’t stolen anything, “religious police” may beat a confession out of you. If they’re successful, say goodbye to your right hand: it’s about to be lopped off with a sword.

http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/000003.php

• Rape victims being hanged in public for criticizing an Islamic Judge.

http://www.jihadwatch.org/dhimmiwatch/archives/002936.php

Even our “Saudi friends” demonstrate the compassionate, tolerant side of Islam:

http://www.persecution.org/Countries/saudi_arabia.html

It’s called Shari’ah law. Isn’t it a marvelous picture? Is this what American Veterans have fought for, what we’ve worked for, or what we elect people to public office for?

Our unwillingness to fall for the “peaceful religion” facade is labeled “Islamophobia.” Here are some facts you won’t see in the mainstream media with regard an “Islamophobia” seminar recently held at the United Nations:

http://frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=16340

In truth, if Muslims are really honest and peaceful, there should be no need to ask for our tolerance.

Although not all Muslims are odious, some have openly expressed their desire for global conversion to Islam. Having the mindset that “it’ll never happen here” is very dangerous: if we don’t protect our culture, happen it will. Europe is already having substantial problems with Muslims demanding that Shari’ah laws be implemented there.

There’s a threat living among us. We can stop it, but it’s going to take some hard work to undo the mess that political correctness and open border policies have created. Contacting your school boards, town councils, Mayors, Judges, and State and Federal elected officials. Let them know that you know, and that they can be replaced with people who’ll look out for you — not infiltrators from foreign lands expecting you to change your culture to theirs.

We, the people of the United States in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessing of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. (The Preamble to the Constitution of the United States)

Our founding fathers obviously possessed more forethought than their modern day successors. Muslims wanting to replace our Constitution with Islamic law should immediately be plucked from our society and shipped off to live in a nation that is already Islamic. With the exception of the Holy Bible and New Testament, the United States Constitution is our most sacred document. We must protect it at all costs, against all assaults. Give anyone who tells you that they’re offended by America or by Christianity directions to the airport!

Always remember: This is your country; let no one take it from you. Cherish your arms, and your right to bear them.

Right on, Watson!

Shut down the mosques, round them up, confiscate all funds, ship 'em out or make them dig a trench from Texas to Alsaska.

Occupy the oilfields in Saudi Arabia, chase the creeps into the desert, liberate the slaves, confiscate their wealth, shut down the madrassas, put the kids (at least) in re-education camps so they learn something other than hatred, - and execute the bastards instead of affording them endless trials and court-cases with useless shysters and legal gaga...

Bravo DCW!

Count me in on this alliance.

I balk at calling myself 'infidel' though. I value fidelity, such as it is, to my principles and values. But I get the context in which you use the term and in that sense, I am very much an 'infidel'.

Like I mentioned yesterday, America is the last outpost of sanity, strength, truth and freedom in the western world in the face of an uncompomising evil. Anything for rousing this giant from its slumber...

DC,
Nice job! I enjoy reading your comments and these columns.
M

Infidel Germany, calling to DC Watson. Though I am an American living in here, I have traveled all through Western Europe and can confirm that there is a serious perception among Europeans that Islam is a danger. They are concerned with their future but do not know how to address this without the racist label. Additionally, there are many here who insist that it is we, who are the intolerant ones and their voice is stronger than the silent majority who know these fools are really nothing more than tools of the Muslims who only wish to earn time by creating dissent and confusion among us, so they can impose Islam upon us.

The leaders of Europe are for the most part mainly criminal and corrupt. Just study the work of Bat Yeór to see. They are much further removed from the concerns of Europeans than even most politicians in America. They legislate and mandate at will. Europe really seems to be a version of the socialist, Soviet ideal than any true functioning democracy.

The elite call the shots and their message is that an additional 70 million Muslims added to a confederation of formerly independent states, consisting of several unique cultures whose common bond was Judeo-Christianity, is perfectly acceptable. This despite the volume of evidence both daily and historic which begs to differ. They just don’t care and foolishly think they can control the monster that Islam is, if only they whet its appetite with the fruits of Western prosperity. They don’t realize that this doesn't matter to Muslims.

In fact Austria, the European country which DEFENDED and beat back the Turks and melted their cannon from the siege of 1683 into CHURCH BELLS, http://www.timyoungonline.com/travel/vienna/vienna1.html , represents greatest opposition to Turkish inclusion into what the Turks derogatorily call "The Christian club". The reason for their rejection of course is their memory of the brave Austrian battle against Islam and SIEGE, which saved Europe from Muslim rule, something the Spanish and the rest have apparently forgotten.

Perhaps Muslims are emboldened by the conundrum they are creating in the West, the chaos resulting from the leftist, multicultural fallacy which assumes that all people are essentially the same and share basic values. The logical outcome of this is that our will to defend ourselves is sharply curtailed as we wrongly assume that Islam is on the same moral plane as the Judeo-Christian West.

For this deliberate subversion, we risk losing all that we have built for the future of our children. Even as we see our culture and heritage slipping away before our very eyes, we refuse to reject and oppose multiculturalism. This is an aid to Islamism, which the sultans of the Ottoman empire would never have been able to comprehend as indeed the modern Muslim world in it ENTIRITY scoffs at and promotes only on OUR territory-- because it advances THEIR cause of winning the world for Allah.

The Islamic world will not and indeed cannot rest until all the world is won for Allah. The Turks failed in 1683 but they are back again. Even though Turkey has attempted to shed its Islamist roots, it is a part of the psyche of the Turkish people as is that of the Saudi's, who promote Wahhabism or the Indonesians whose nation archipelago is now on the doorsteps of Australia. Islam equates into forward movement, a battle cry universal to the believers and we had better wake up very soon.

There is a common link and it is Islam itself. I stand as a fellow infidel with DC Watson in trying to confront and repel most insidious and relentless threat, the alter-civilization, where amputations, rapes, sexual mutilations and beheading are a justifiable event in the name of God

I am confident that enough people will wake up to the threat from islam before it is too late. Site like JW/DW are instrumental in enlightening our fellow non-muslims about the danger of islam. Even muslims themselves help our cause with every attack and atrocity they commit.

There is even hope for the Europeans. I have over 200 relatives that live in the UK. Many of those that I am in contact with are keenly aware of the muslim menace in their midst. Their strength comes from the fact that they value their own culture, history, and faith over the multiculturalist euro-guilt dogma pushed by the elites.

If the Europeans are our cousins, then the Canadians are our brothers. I know several Canadians who are awakened to the islamic threat. The urban centers may be strongholds of multicultural ignorance, but there is still hope. When the time comes, Canada will be on the right side.

Here in America, people are starting to seriously question the 'all religions are equal and the same' line that's being pushed by academia, government, and the media. The truth is hard to cover up. Even some of my liberal friends visit JW/DW and are thankful for the insight it has brought. Although they may support a whole host of issues from abortion to gay rights, they squarely put the blame for muslim aggression right where it belongs - on islam's teachings itself.

Once the left in America gets past its hate for the right, it will learn it has nothing in common with islam and has been used by the muslims for their own devices. Some, of course, will hate their country and themselves more than the jihadists to the very end. But they are losing power and credibility fast, and their efforts do their cause more harm than good (Michael Moore, Shawn Penn, etc).

Even some hope comes from muslims I know personally. They are truly the first victims of islam and I have seen one colleague suffer through its rigid ness to a great extent. Always wary of taqiyya, I have had frank discussions with him about the truths of islam. The 'moderates' are indeed a minority, and the ones I know are torn between family and cultural pressures and their own awakening consciousness.

Approach and encourage ‘moderates’ where you find them, but I would not trust any that do not renounce islam outright, for the pressures that bind them are immense. In the end, they will either be our best allies (such as Ibn Warraq) or overwhelmed by the abyss of islam.

DC ,
nice job ,,i am going to show this to my father in california who is slowly waking up to this evil.

DC, you are BEAUTIFUL! We are definitely on board the "Infidel Alliance" express!

I posted this elsewhere this morning, but I think it would truly help us get going in the right direction, maybe a project of a REAL "Infidel Alliance" Club!

"It needs to be corrected at the source. Examples of which are: brainwashing
children with the deception of the Quran, radical teaching and unjustified
hate.

Posted by: Report at December 18, 2004 01:14 AM"

Yes, YES, YES! Report, you hit the nail on the head!

I know I'm nagging on this point, but if we don't preserve kids' minds
through puberty, about 95% of them will be lost forever! I am NOT
EXAGGERATING! I am NOT MAKING THIS UP!

We MUST get to the source to put a permanent stop to this insanity. We must
start with our own children, who are victims of our own impossibly
incompetent educational system that is teaching our kids that Islam is a
religion of peace. Being that the educational system is a huge government
bureaucracy, that will take a long time.

Until that can be done, there is another way, and that is via
ART--particularly the movies.

If a lot of the 56% who are 1) ignorant, 2) on the fence, or 3) confused see
such movies, it will do an end-run around the schools, and best of all, it
will reach ADULTS whose mindsets have survived the indoctrination of the
schools.

Even the resulting controversy would be beneficial, since it would result in
a huge debate. Make movie after movie, such as: 1) the life and times of
Pelayo, 2) the life and times of Muhammad, 3) the life and times of Ibn
Rushd, and 4) the TRUE story of the Crusades, etc. etc.

The movies would teach the TRUTH in the form of art, with action, exotic
landscape, the thought processes of the enemy, and the visual presentation
of what they really did. They would stir the appropriate emotions, which
would cause them to be remembered.

Mel Gibson, YOU have some contacts--can you help?

I see lots of rhetoric and little action plan in DC Watson's posts. So what exactly is he proposing that must be done? His argument could lead to one of the following the action plans:

1) Making muslims a "dhimmi-like" class of citizens in the west in order to protect the Christian culture and heritage,

2) Disengagement from the muslim world, Removing most or all muslims (unless they renounce) from the west to the muslim countries.

If not any of the above, I'd like to know what solution is he offering.

In the second case, I assume the disengagement plan would happen in both directions, otherwise you'd end up with the situation that old Europe is in as a result of its large presence in North Africa. So I presume your plan would include not only repatriation of muslims from the west (The United States and Europe) to the muslim countries, but also Christians from the majority muslim countries (such as Indonesia etc) to the West,
as well as removing American and European military bases and major corporations from the Middle East and North Africa, and a pact of non-intrference on both sides.

That's the only way a complete disengagement plan would work. You will not be able to maintain it one way (muslims out) only.

So perhaps DC Watson shoul clarify is this is the plan he'd like to see.

Cubed:

"The Passion Of The Christ" website with an email to Mel box.
I've sent a message asking him to consider making a film about Islam and Mo.

DC;

I commend you on your observation!! I attempted to point out to a senator that I had concerns with teaching Islam in our schools. I did get a reply which I will post later when I have time. I’m still so angry I can’t think straight. Everyone should read and study your article and observe what the rest of the countries are having to deal with.

The first step is the waking up and I see that happening now. More and more often it is starting to creep into the mainstream media. First of all we need to get rid of the term "Islamophobia" (who coined that phrase I wonder?) and that questioning Islam is not racist. This has been 2 of Islams biggest weapons. Being muslim is not a race CAIR.

DC:

You STILL rock!

However, I do sense an [intensely jealous] kj rant coming . . .

kj:

When focusing on anti-jihadism and not engaged in partisan political rants, you are superbly articulate. Why don't you write an article for JW/DW?

I confess to suffering from ISLAMOPHOBIA.

And related Jihadophobia and Shariaphobia!

Also Shahidophobia (suicidebomberphobia)and Terroristophobia.

It is all caused by Islam!

No Islam, NO Islamophobia.

Nippon,
It works on my browser

I have got "mozilla"...mmmh

Thank you DC Watson! Excellent.

SeenathePersian -

perhaps we should negotiate to have islamic nations recognize and protect free unfettered expression of religion (ALL religions) eliminating dhimmification status throughout the world - in exchange for same in western nations.

We can all change the meaning of "Islamophobia" by using it.

As JF Kenedy once said "Ich bin ein Berliner"

we can say "Ich bin ein Islamophobe!!" and proud of it.

We can become Islamophobe Anonymous (only we don't need to be anonymous).

It will then be up to the rest i.e. the muslims and their 'useful idiots' to convince us of our misaprehensions.

They will have to provide the cure through their words and actions.

Mr Watson is quite right. What,s most important is that we counter Isalmic mis-information and dis-information so that unsuspecting people aren't hoodwinked. Everytime we're confronted with Muslim propaganda we need to atnd up and challenge it. Afterall, the more one learns about the subject, the more it becomes repulsive.

SeenathePersian,

What do you mean exactly?

"old Europe is in as a result of its large presence in North Africa."

Cubed:
Try this.. http://www.passionmaterials.com/contact.html
if it works the "send a letter to mel" is at the bottom of the page.

it works on both my browsers "enigma" and "internet explorer"

sorry Cubed my last post was meant for Nippon... lol

DC;
I must have missed the Nov. 30th photo of you (which I just saw due to the link on this thread)

Blimey mate!! I'm sure glad we're on the same side!!

Loving those bi-ceps!

This Christmas day a Muslim convention in Toronto Canada is being held and the newspaper
article mentioned some teachings will be on Jesus in the Quran and how he's a Muslim and one of many Prophets like Muhammed sent by Allah.
Here's the link to show how insulting they can be by holding a "Anti-Christian" Crusade on December 25th while in a Judeo-Christian Country, just wait until they grow to a larger minority around 40 percent of the population, then we'll have the Iraq style terrorism to install an Islamic Government ruling by Sharia-law.

http://www.revivingtheislamicspirit.com/convention/venue.asp

DC Watson is concentrating on the first step which is awareness of the dangers of Islam. Already this has done wonders for the US because you do not see as much Muslim immigration and visa travel as before 9/11. More non-Mexican immigrants are being deported for less cause than before. By the way, in order to conserve resources, Mexican illegal immigrants are "catch-and-release" material.

Even the resulting controversy would be beneficial, since it would result in
a huge debate. Make movie after movie, such as: 1) the life and times of
Pelayo, 2) the life and times of Muhammad, 3) the life and times of Ibn
Rushd, and 4) the TRUE story of the Crusades, etc. etc.

I read your other posts on this idea. I agree entirely. First you need a good script or story. Anyone know any good writers? Maybe written from a narrative point of view? Someone watching Mohamed’s life from camel rider to false prophet? A good movie on the reconquest of Iberia over the course of 700 years or so. Charles Martel, El Cid and all the others. We Freemasons love stories about the Knights Templar.

Here is my attempt to alert a Senator;

Senator Capo,

The article I am sending you is one of many concerns I have with the open door policies offered to the Muslims. I am not a racist, I want to make it very clear to you. In view of the suffering inflicted on many countries around the world done by the Muslim take over tactics causes me great concern - most recently the school hijacking and murder citizens and school children in Russia. Is it not a fact with the help of the ACLU, prayers are being taken out of our schools? Are we not allowed to say “God” or “Under God” in public. I can not comprehend the logic of allowing these people to come into our schools and victimize our children. I implore you to research this and do what you can to stop this. Please keep me informed.

I included an article I briefly state here;

During the next few weeks, multicultural trainer Afeefa Syeed will bring third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students from a Muslim academy in Herndon, Va., to nearby public schools to share the practices and beliefs of their holiest month, Ramadan.

The Council on Islamic Education, a nonprofit organization based in California, plans to release an updated version of its booklet “Muslim Holidays,” which was first published in 1997, for the more than 4,000 teachers nationwide who have used it.

Muslim educators note tremendous progress in education about Ramadan and Islam in general in public schools, particularly since the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 — perpetrated by extremist Muslims — brought Islam into the national spotlight.

Educators cite Ramadan as a good opportunity to teach students about Islam and its practice. But teaching Ramadan in public schools has not been without controversy. Last year a federal judge said that the Byron Union School District in California could continue a three-week curriculum that emphasized role-playing exercises requiring, among other things, seventh-grade students to recite Muslim prayers.

Despite the ruling in the district's favor, the school suspended the program because of the outcry the lawsuit spawned.

This the Senator’s reply;

Thank you for contacting me to express you thoughts on teaching the Muslim culture in our schools. I appreciate the opportunity to respond.

Thousands of citizens of Muslim faith live in the United States and are an important part of the nation. Many Muslim-Americans have endured undue harassment as a result of misguided anger toward Arab-Americans in the wake of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack. I find this to be unacceptable and will continue to work with my colleagues in Congress to ensure that Muslim-Americans are treated with the dignity and respect that all Americans are entitled to under the Constitution.

As President Bush has stated to the American people, we are not at war against Islam. We are at war against terrorists, regardless of their religion. Congress has the responsibility to take appropriate steps to provide the necessary mechanisms to prevent future terrorist attacks. If it is found that members of Muslim organizations, or any other religious organizations, for that matter, are connected to terrorist groups, I have every confidence that law enforcement officials will take appropriate action to eliminate such activity and prosecute those who are connected to the terrorist groups to the full extent of the law.

In the current world environment, it is very important to try to understand ideas and cultures that may be different from our own. I share your concern about the separation of church and state. There is a big difference between learning about a subject and indoctrination into a way of thinking: we need to continue to monitor such activities in our schools closely

Again, thank you for contacting me. Please feel free to contact me in the future on this or any other matter of concern

Sincerely,

Mike Crapo
United States Senator

My opinion - This is exactly what Robert, Hugh, and DC Watson has so clearly pointed out - there is a very grave problem here. Everyone on this site can agree steps are needed. This is not a racist issue, but a cultural issue that will not co-exist with any country that is not of their culture. Even then, only under a strict dictatorship where the citizens have very little rights. This Senator has indicated - in my opinion - he or the government has not reach the awareness of the ultimate objectives of these “peaceful Muslims.” I am afraid if and when these PC Dhimmis wake up, the problem will have developed into a national emergency as is about to happen in Euarabia.

The muslim anti-Christian crusade being held on Christmas Day is just so typical of the mindset of an exclusionary ideology. Its adherents complain of being offended by the symbols of another faith. Its adherents try to denigrate a Christian holiday by holding a seminar denigrating the status of Jesus held by the faithful Christians. If they were interested at all in interfaith ecumenicalism, they would be joining the celebrations, not denegrating them.

Listening to the constant Christmas music programming on a local radio station, one comes to realize that there are different versions of some of the best know Christmas songs, not just the generic Jingle Bells but also the religiously themed songs, performed by non-Christian artist. Imagine, a Jewish performer singing about Christmas. Does he feel denigrated celebrating the traditions of a different religion?

I now live in one of the most cosmopolitan and diverse cities on this planet after growing up in what was then an extremely racially and ethnically segregated metropolis. In my profession and my daily life, I interact with peoples of all faiths, nationalities, races and ethnicities, whether co-workers, the shopkeepers or business adversaries. From the faithful to the non-believer, all except for a handful have taken it upon themselves to wish me a Merry Christmas, not just a generic Happy Holidays. These sentiments have come from Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhist, Jew and Christian, the devote, the "holidays only" crowd and non-believers, from South Asians, East Asians, Europeans, Africans, and Americans, North, Central and South. To all them, I return the blessings and joyousness of the season.

I recall when a family that moved into the house next to me, with two cute little pre-school age kids, invited me, a Christian, to partake in the Passover Seder. Up to that point, we had become friends from chatting over the fence to inviting each other over for snacks, dinner, drinks and the like. Not knowing much about the Seder, I jumped at the opportunity. As I read the Passover story to the kids, and as I explained the meaning of the different foods being eaten ( I had to learn on the spot!) in conjunction with the story, I looked into their eyes and sensed the wonderment at learning their traditions, much as I had been the same learing of my Christian traditions as a child. For several years thereafter, we continued to share each others religious holidays, celebrations and traditions until I relocated to another city, but we still remain good friends to this day. To them and all my Jewish friends, Happy Hannukah (even heard a song, in Spanish, on that Christmas music radio station, "Ochos Candellitas")

Of those that I mentioned that did not wish me Merry Christmas or even Happy Holidays were muslims. What else can be expected from a ideology, the very "holy" books of which brainwash their young to believe in a superiority over all others. Instead of allowing equal recognition of another's beliefs and traditions, these books directly command as the word of allah and his prophet to smite the unbeliever wherever he may be found, for unbelievers in allah and the prophet are not men, not of the race of men, but are pigs, dogs and donkeys.

I should add one "muslim" acquaintence of mine did extend holiday greetings to me, but then he would be rejected by the umma as an apostate or worse anyway. After all we did enjoy a lunch of pork with chiles and basil at a Thai restaurant during ramadan. He complains constantly about when he goes back home how he hates the whole islam thing shoved down his throat. Where are the rest like him?

Last night I watched, again for the umpteenth time, the Charlie Brown Christmas. When Linus recited from Luke 2 "Peace on Earth, Goodwill toward all men" he adds "That is what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown." Hearing that, I thought again of all those mentioned above who wished me a Merry Christmas. They showed respect for my beliefs, my culture, my traditions, that is respect from those to whom such beliefs, culture and traditions are alien concepts. That is what Christmas is all about. Perhaps Christmas doesn't come after all from a store, perhaps Christmas means just a little bit more (OK, so I watched the Grinch too the other night).

This will be my last post for a while as I will be travelling home to the snow belt for the holidays. So to all of you JW/DW'rs', to its regularly posting critics and cynics, to the Grinch and the Who, and to Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang:

Peace to you, Goodwill to All Men, and
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

THSIMJ, the reply from Senator Crapo bears a startling resemblance to the replies I received last year from all of my insipid representatives in Washington. I have never been so frustrated in my life; how could the entire United States Congress be oblivious to the doctrine and history of Islam?!
It seems that no matter how we word our letters to them, the moment they get to the part where we're worried about muslims because Islam is an intolerant, repressive, totalitarian religion with its own archaic law, imperialistic ambitions, and a 1400 year history of genocide and barbarism, they immediately jump to the defense of muslims!
It makes no sense. My concerns were not even addressed; I got the standard lecture about religious freedom in America and my list of specific, valid concerns was totally ignored!
I hesitate to jump on the bandwagon with the conspiracy theorists, but it certainly appears to me that something is amiss in Washington when our own senators and representatives flatly refuse to acknowledge our legitimate concerns. I do not think they all "missed the point" we are trying so hard to make.
Many other people report the same type of response that we got. I don't know of one person whose concerns about Islam and muslims were adequately addressed by their representatives in Washington.
If you can't get answers from them, where do you turn? I've been hearing all my life that "ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking it." Well, ignorance of Islam is no excuse for endangering the people and the future of America, and I think we the people need to make that very clear to our venerable congressmen and senators.

In June 1801, William Eaton, U.S. Consul to Tunis, was summoned to the palace of Prince Hamouda Pacha Bey, the Tunisian ruler. In Mr. Eaton's words:

The Bey's object in calling on me was to demand of the United States ten thousand stands of arms. I refused to state his demand [forward to Washington]. "I have proportioned my loss," said he, "among my friends, and this falls to you to furnish. Tell your Government to send them without delay." It is impossible, said I, to state this claim to my Government. We have no magazines of small arms; the organization of our national strength is different from that of any other nation on earth. Each citizen carries his own arms, always ready for battle. When threatened with an invasion, or actually invaded, detachments from the whole national body are sent, by rotation, to serve in the field; so that we have no need of standing armies, nor depositories of arms. It would be an affront to my Government, and an imposition on the Bey, to state to them this demand, or to flatter him with a prospect of receiving it. "Send for them to France or England," said the minister. Your are in much more eligible position to make this commission to Europe than we are, said I. If the Bey had any intention of purchasing the arms from Europe," said the minister, "he could do it without your agency. He did not send for you to ask your advice, but to order you to communicate his demands to your Government. And I came here, said I, to assure you that I will make no such communication to my Government. "The Bey will write himself," said he. If so, it will become my duty to forward his letter; but, at the same time, it is equally obligatory on me to let the Bey be aforehand apprized that he never will receive a single musket from the United States.
There is more to this story and you can read it here.

The reason I bring it up on this thread is that DC's call reminds us exactly how the United States has always defended its homeland when it has been threatened directly in the past and that the same spirit is very much alive today. It is in the hearts and minds of the citizen militia on which Consul Eaton so firmly educated the despotic Bey and his 8th century sycophants.

It is the spirit of the true American Patriot that lies dormant before every hearth in America. Left unmolested, it is manifested in joyful celebration on national holidays, quiet fulfillment of civic duty, and a reverent respect for the law that keeps us free. To those who provoke it with violence or the threat of violence, it shows itself as the most terrible and industrially organized machine of destruction and annihilation that has ever been devised in the history of Mankind. Woe to the fools who would stir it up from its peaceful slumber, and it appears that evidence of the awakening is increasing each day.

True Brit,

Many thanks for the link to Mel Gibson's site; I have written. There is so much to tell about Islam and related subjects, and the movies are absolutely the best medium for the telling!

THSMJ, Maybe a few good movies would even make an impression on Senator Crapo et al. Perhaps if a lot of people knew what we faced, and became upset with it, he would stop being so dismissive. Movies could provide the excitement, the debate, the controversy, that our country desparately needs! Without it, we will slide almost silently into the cesspool of Islam.

Sheik Canuck (swt--one of these days I have to know what that means!), I think a good script writer would be absolutely deliriously happy with the material that Islam could provide!

First, find someone who believes in this country and in the whole idea of Western Civilization, and second, find someone who is willing to risk his life by telling the truth.

Looks like Senator Crap should read and lran more before he's voted out of office. The teachers in this article are practicing indoctrination, not basic learning, andin some instances, telling lies.

Senator Crapo, my apologies for the typo.

DC--First of all, I recognize in you a kindred spirit concerned about what Muslims are doing, and have respected your ideas even before I knew you had big biceps (compared to crawny-armed, thick-waisted me).

However, I have reservations about an "indfidel alliance". It would include as well militant secularists who never miss an opportunity to smear me as an ayatollah wannabe or the moral equivalent of Seiyyid Qutb because:

(1) I also believe in God.

(2) I also believe in a last judgment.

(3) I also believe that God has to be known by what He says in His revealed Word, rather than "discovered" by ourt own searching (as if you can measure the oceans of 20 billion earths with a thimble!).

(4) I want my religion to spread, especially to my own sons (never mind that I believe the God-given means to do this are the Word and ethical example blessed by God's own Spirit).

(5) I believe that, in addition to a heaven , there is a Hell (much as I do not wish to hasten any on his way thither).

(6) I cannot recite the Pledge of the Allegiance without the "Under God" preopsitional phrase--for no state or emblem may claim the unconditional allegiance of one of God's rational creatures (never mind that I pay my taxes and would be the first to report one of my deranged brethren who planned to bomb something).

(7) I honestly resent being taxed to pay for an educational establishment that teaches that it is OK to disparage people like me for our beliefs and presents us as a danger.

An infidel alliance would also mean standing shoulder-to-shoulder with people who admire Attwood's _Handmaid's Tale_, in which we Evangelicals are accused of wanting to make women illiterate slaves. Try telling a Jew to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with people who believe that Jews ritually murder Christian children (as in Chaucer's _Prioress's Tale_)!

Nor do I despise Senator Capo's reply. We do have Muslims living peacefully among us who do not support the crazies. So far, their voices are few and muted, but they are there. Uighur Muslims dissenting against Chinese Communist rule in their homeland from time to time post news in support of Christians persecuted by the Chinese government (which is a nasty outfit, whose official press can freely discuss the superiority of the Han race while anyone who broaches legalizing non-Communist political parties or independent labor unions goes to prison; lionizes Stalin; and can even find kind words to say about Hitler).

I can't spend money supporting Muslim "moderates". My cure for Islamic terrorism is for all Christians to be informed about what Islam teaches (including Surah IX and the nonsense the Qur'an teaches about what our doctrine of the Trinity is); but at the same time to be sure that when Muslims are disgusted with what the mosque teaches, they can see the Gospel as an open door through which they are invited to pass rather than as a club over their heads.

This being said, I am not blind to those who make Islam a club over the heads of the rest of us.

DC Watson, your idea about an "Infidel alliance"is excellent.
Eventhough you did not articulate a clear solution to the islamic problem,it seems that you understood perfeclty well the fact that for the time being, the most important thing is to bring the problem into the open, and to make the public aware about the islamic danger.
General awareness will eventually result in a large scale debate, wich in turn will lead us to the solution, whatever the solution mught be.
I would have also included in the presentation, the infamous quote from the CAIR site"Islam is not in America to be equal to any other religion, but to become dominant...the quran should be the highest authority in America and islam the only accepted religion on Earth".
The fact that the tv networks have started to debate the muslim problem is an important step forward...today i saw the segment on Fox News Live with Robert Spencer, and HBO will have a movie-documentary about 9/11 ,called "The Hamburg cell" on january 10th 2005.
Sending letters and e-mails to our senators, congressmen, mayors, etc couldn`t hurt either.
Merry Christmas everyone!

The movie idea is a cool one -- Mel Gibson would be great, but if I had my druthers, some famous movie maker of secular orientation would make the movie in consultation with Ibn Warraq and maybe with that Muslim-apostate lady legislator in Holland. If an avid Christian makes it, soooo many people will dismiss it as mere religious bias. But a rationalist secularist? That could be devastatingly effective.

I agree with SeenathePersian that DC has not proposed anything very concrete.

DC, How 'bout a law something like this:

Until a majority of Muslim-majority nations are pluralist democracies that respect religious and cultural freedom, all Muslim immigrants to the United States who have not been granted U.S. citizenship by the date of passage of this legislation (or some other date to be specified), shall be ineligible for U.S. citizenship.

Such a law might be unconstitutional. But D.C.'s practical goal and ours should arguably be this: legally preventing Muslims who do not yet have U.S. citizenship from getting it until such time as the majority of Muslim-majority states prove by example that Islam is compatible with pluralistic social order. Once Muslims have American citizenship, the legal bar to excluding them from the U.S. becomes almost insurmountable, and they have the full panoply of rights protections.

D.C.'s notion of deporting U.S. citizens who are Muslim is at present utterly impractical and would only become politically possible in the case of another major terrorist disaster -- perhaps a small nuke in some city -- and maybe not even in that case. Barring such extremities, D.C.'s practical suggestions are at best helpful to freedom-lovers' morale.

The Dutch are going to be faced with terrible dilemmas precisely because the percentage of Muslim Dutch citizens is rising so quickly and drastically due to birthrates. Western cultures will not be able to disenfranchise their own citizens without tremendous upheavals. Stripping people of citizenship rights based on religion would require deeply compromising the Western values we are fighting for, and such deep compromises might prove much much more difficult to achieve than D.C. perhaps imagines.

DC Watson: Good to see that brawn and brains are not mutually exclusive. As for the alliance of anti-Muslims, believe me, it already exists. I am not an "infidel," as someone else already said, I also am loyal to something--but not to Islam. I refuse to let myself be defined by our enemies. I am against them; they are Muslim, I am anti-Muslim.

If I am against Muslims, then what am I for? Freedom, the Constitution of the United States, the Bill of Rights (especially 2nd Amendment). This includes freedom of thought, freedom of religion (as long as any religion or an ideology that poses as a religion, does not infringe on my rights), and a morality derived from the ten commandments.

Back to the alliance of anti-Muslims. It consists of people who see Islam as a danger to what they hold dear. In all cases, we realize that when our government (people such as that Senator Crapo) fails us, we will have to rely on our own resources.

The most immediate problem that we need to solve,in order to enable us to fight the evil danger of islam,is to vote the left liberals out of offices.
They, together with the ACLU are the ones that keep the borders open, the terrorists should have rights,, etc.
A movie about islam, should be a comedy and the star actor should be Chevy Chase...
This way there would be a movie out that would deeply infuriate the muslims, and the moron(Chase) would have to go in hiding, sparing us the pain of listening to his stupidities.

Susanp -
The response from our congressmen is curious -- some of it is ignorance of Islam's totalitarian character -- but some of it is probably due to a desire not to become a center of tremendous controversy, lawsuits, accusations of racism, accusations of hate speech, demands for apologies, death threats, etc., etc.

After all, think what it would mean for a politician if he were to propose that muslim immigration be limited, or that Muslim immigrants be ineligible for citizenship.

I guess everyone saw the recent poll that showed 44% of Americans think Muslim civil rights should be restricted in some ways, while 48% thought there should be no restriction on Muslim civil rights.

The politicians must be thinking about all this, some substantial proportion must be acknowledging in private that Islam is a gravely dangerous totalitarian religion. The politicians -- especially Republicans -- must be struggling with how best to deal with the challenge of which most people only lately are becoming really aware.

Bravo DC Watson!

it's wierd -- I thought Chevy Chase was conservative -- National Lampoon's comedians used to be quite conservative -- I recall some funny comedy album of theirs in which, among other things, a commie revolutionary singing some revolutionary song full of cliches gets utterly flattened in the middle of the song. I also remember Chase many years ago kind of fawning over the Republican president Gerald Ford. I think Chase was introduced to some big Republican politicians in part because the Republicans knew quite well that Chase was sympathetic to their views. At least I think he was, but maybe I misinterpreted. Has Chase changed his politics? Is he desperate to get with the in-crowd in show biz to recover his utterly failed career? He was so funny on the original Saturday Night Live, but never did anything after that that seemed any good at all...

All the world has to do to see its future as an Islamic state is to look at life in Saudi Arabia. If the world pays attention to life in Saudi Arabia, it will realize what danger it is in.

Saw Blair on TV this morning.

Couldn't believe he chewed the same crap again about' there is no clash of cultures' between us and Islam...

Of course there was Shredder, the slimy commie- greaseball- chancellor of Germany and with him the ultimate disgrace of 'la grande nation-' the most corrupt frog the world has ever known: Chirac...

Erdogan walked away a winner thanks to those fools, the next generation will curse them forever...

I frequently come across lefties here in Australia who simply believe this whole terror- thing is simply because of Israel.

If only Israel was destroyed the Arabs would live happily ever after...Almost funny, but dangerously stupid: Everywhere in the world where you have muslims you have strife, be in in Chechnia, Bosnia, Acheh, Timor, Darfour, Baghdad: Anywhere you find Islam you will have ugly confrontations, terror centres for hatespeeches and indoctrination (they call it mosques) and you will find an ever increasing subcult of hatefilled Islamo-faschists loudly calling for their 'rights' at the expense of yours.

I simply do not believe that our liberal system will hold up under the combined efforts of Arab money, massive Islamic infiltration and their effort to breed Jihadi's like rats.

At present our political clowns still keep denying that we are at war with Islam. OBL made it clear there on 9/11, he certainly did not beat around the bush. He presented IT to BUSH...

Time to get real: Martial law should have been introduced right after 9/11, all mosques should have been closed right away and all known activists including CAIR arrested, the Imams forbidden to rally for Jihad and... you know what I'm getting at...

Too much time has been wasted. Too much effort and money goes into fighting the shysters and civil libertarians who are obstructing justice. It is simply impossible to provide each and every terrorist with a show trial a la O.J. The price of a bullet is affordable, and those who welcome death for the sake of 72 virgins should be helped along their way, per express...

DC Watson, It´s a good idea and we need arguments to do movies, because this will be the weapon of the mass destruction, the truth seen in cinemas and movies, we have to count things about christendom, but too, the Sund Battle in India, the wars between the brave afghans and muslims that costs the life of the neighbour of Muhammad, it´s necessary because the cinema like has been demonstrated with Gibson have a lot of succesfulness.

Hi everyone. Thank you all for reading. Please let me clarify that my use of the term "Infidel" is a mocking of what Muslims call all of us. I apologize for the term.

My respect to all of you.

To all of my fellow posters. I have put in a request to change the title of this column. We must stand together in this fight.

Thanks to all...

D.C. Watson,
Your call for a Worldwide Alliance is long overdue. Let's do it.

The alliance is alive and well enough, but more people need to be better informed. Articles like this should be seen by everyone we all know. Articles like those on this site and sites like it should be shared with the public. The public that isn't yet aware of sites like this one. We never see news like this on TV. That's because they're afraid of their sponsers getting upset. Share this information with everyone you know. It looks like that's the plan here.

(swt) means Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala which means Glory be to him the Most High … or something like that… muslims always put it after the word allah … I imagine putting it after my nick it is some sort of islamic blasphemy…. which really breaks me up.

PROUD TO BE INFIDAL AND WANT OUR KIDS TO BE INFIDALS TOO...

DC:

I AM AN INFIDEL, since that is the term used for "unbelievers" in the satanic blood-cult demon-god "allah". I don't mind the term in the least. Any word/words for "mortal enemy of islam" in Arabic would also be fine with me.
