THE HAGUE - the Government of the Netherlands estimates that there are approximately 10 to 25 mosques where extremist sermons are being preached. The cabinet currently does not have any specific action plan against it nor is it possible to take any action using current laws. In this case the Dutch government has only an option of improving and exploiting the existing possibilities, such as withdrawing subsidies or residence permits of imams.The Minister of Home Affairs Remkes revealed this information on Wednesday during the debate in the House of Commons concerning terrorism. The House of Commons has been pressing hard for an action against radical imams and mosques lately in order to reduce radicalism in the country. The parties, mostly the VVD and LPF, are very disappointed concerning the results. "A mosque has not yet been dissolved or an imam turned off," said a VVD member Griffith.
Remkes has specifically noted that it is in numerous mosques across the Netherlands where hatred is being sown and where imams preach anti-Western and anti-Semitic sermons.
The Minister of Justice Donner also suggested that the government should work to discourage the dissemination of hate on the Internet. The chamber supported this initiative unanimously. The government is planning on launching a system that would compare the beginnings of the words it encounters on various bulletin boards with the "blacklisted" words in its database and in case of a match report on the specific websites.
According to Remkes, the assassination of Theo van Gogh has exposed a real picture of the extremist threat in the country. Through united efforts of various levels of the government the seriousness of the threat has been reduced lately, but no decisive action with regard to extremists has been taken yet. He added that many radical individuals and groups are still functioning across Holland.
Meanwhile, various parties insisted on an increase in the tempo of implementation of the promises delivered by the government. According to the parties' representatives, there are too many words, and too little action. "It (the implementation) is not visible," said MP Griffith of the VVD party. The parties themselves have engaged in seeking solutions to the problems concerning religious extremism. Two MPs representing the AVID party have already promised to deliver to the Parliament the list of measures they are proposing. The party leader Van Aartsen expressed his willingness to debate on the question with other political fractions.
During and after WW II, the Dutch fully recognized the horror of the Nazi occupation, not only to themselves but to all others, which led them to undertake courageous measures to harbor, help and save many people in danger of Nazism. Now it seems as though they have not learned enough to distinguish that similar but more horrifying mechanisms are in place from Islamics! Surely the ritual killing of Van Gogh should have raised enormous "red flags" to alert them to what further horrors will befall not only Holland, but the entire Western world, but it appears Holland as well as all the Western world is being led to suffer from uncivilized animal-like beings calling themselves Muslims or Islamics or whatever terminology they choose to use in some attempt to hide the fact they are of a non-humans classification.
Break out the bulldozers and plow these 10 to 25 Muslim armories into the dirt.
It would be more accurate to say that "10 to 25 mosques" have been identified as the "most dangerous" and the ones that should "at once be monitored," rather than give credence to the notion that the other mosques are just fine.
For what, after all, is the stuff of which khutbas are made, if not what is in the Qur'an and the hadith, and the life of Muhammad, the sira?
And while some mosques in Iraq may be loaded with RPGs and some mosques in Europe may be filled with fake passports along with the odd explosive, and mosques in the United States so far found not to contain either RPGs or fake passports (but no searches as yet have been conducted), the emphasis on mosques alone is misplaced.
Magdi Allam, the Egyptian-born sensible commentator on Islam who writes in the Corriere della Sera and occasionally appears on the RAI (state-owned television channel), notes that many Muslims do not attend mosques. But this does not mean that they cannot read, or be indoctrinated into, the anti-Infidel messages that are everywhere in Qur'an, hadith, and sira.
So even if every single mosque were to be given a clean bill of mental health, and monitored night and day by the Infidel police, with every single remark taped and analyzed, this would mean something -- but not much.
The mosques are not the problem. The mosques are simply physical sites which reinforce the collective, the sense of belonging to the umma al-islamiyya, and of course can be used for all sorts of activities which non-Muslims would regard as unconnected to religion (those RPGs, those fake passports). But of course one can pray anywhere, on the sidewalk for example (it happens all the time in France), and as long as the texts remain the texts, and as long as the mass of humanity -- any humanity -- can be swayed by simple ideas, repeated and repeated, it is important that those few simple ideas be carefully chosen.
On the whole, things turn out a lot better where the simple ideas, repeated over and over, are those about love and mercy, or justice and righteousness (take your pick, or Mix 'n Match), rather than "Islam is to dominate and not to be dominated" and "war is deception" and "kill the unbelievers" and messages like that.
So no amount of reduction in the number of "dangerous mosques" means much. But here the Dutch are, and here the Europeans are, hoping, hoping, grasping at straws and constructing strawmen -- the "extremists" and the "fanatics" -- when the much larger, immutable, and essentially insoluble but still manageable problem, is staring them in their collective face.
Be sure to note the last line of the first paragraph.
Those mosques are paid for by tax payer's money.
Their use as a hate production facility is just the islamic way of saying "Thank you".

The online cyber-mosques are probably more virulent and effective than the literal 'Domes R US' structures.
The Dutch and Europeans, and especially the US, need hackers shutting this tumorous websites down as fast as they appear.
Then perhaps the frustrated jihadists will have to congregate in their mosques more, and it will be easier to tape record their 'legally culpable radical threats', and then to deport.
My Dutch contacts sound scared, more than anything, sadly. I want them furious! Repelled! Boiling with rage! And willing to defend their freedoms and expell those who are infil-traitors bent on the downfall of the West and ascendancy of the 7th century.
I can only hope that they are replaying the video of the murder of Theo Van Gogh at home and on their computers, and quietly fuming, trying to conquer their fears.

As long as we honour and protect islam with the term 'religion', we avoid the problem.
A 'democratic' iraq or afghanistan will not stop islam from trying to destroy us, nor will independent palestinian statelets; but our governments attempts to achieve those objectives has required they acknowledge legitimacy for islam.

Islamic terror based on Qu’ran: ex-CIA official

A former top official of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency paints a menacing picture of the relationship between Islam and terrorism.
“Islamic terrorism is based on Islam as revealed through the Qu’ran,” keynote speaker Bruce Tefft claimed in a panel discussion at the University of Toronto on jihad and global terrorism. The session, held late last month, was sponsored by the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center and the Speakers Action Group.
Tefft, a founder of the CIA’s counter-terrorism center and now an advisor to the New York Police Department’s intelligence and counter-terrorism divisions, said that without Islam, the long-term strategy of Al Qaeda and its followers make little sense.
Linking Osama bin Laden to the attacks against the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in 2001, Tefft said: “To pretend that Islam has nothing to do with Sept. 11 is to willfully ignore the obvious and to forever misinterpret events.”
In a harsh indictment of Islam – the world’s fastest growing religion and the second-largest faith after Christianity – Tefft said that while there may be moderate Muslims, Islam itself is immoderate.
And, he added, “There is no difference between Islam and Islamic fundamentalism, which is a totalitarian construct.”
According to Tefft, the Qu’ran enjoins Muslims to believe that the whole world should be governed by the principles of Islam, an expansionist religion that has historically grown through conquest.
All infidels are to be converted, enslaved or killed, he said, drawing on the knowledge of Bernard Lewis, a Jewish historian who has written books about Islam and Islamic history.
Tefft, whose career at the CIA spanned 21 years, argued that Islam was a religion of peace and tolerance in its formative phase, but has since grown intolerant of non-Muslims.
Islam cannot be reformed because its teachings, as revealed through the Qu’ran, are regarded as the word of God, and to be a Muslim, a believer must accept the Qu’ran on a literal basis, Tefft said.
He said Islam views Judaism and Christianity as failed religions and itself as the only true religion.
Islamic terrorists are animated by passionate anti-Western convictions, Tefft argued. They blindly sacrifice their lives for the chance of going to paradise and enjoying the charms of 72 virgins.
To them, the United States is the epitome of evil, because its constitution separates church and state.
Tefft said Al Qaeda’s 700-page training manual covers all aspects of terrorism, from surveillance to assassinations, and is drawn from U.S., Russian and Iranian manuals .
“They’ve compiled the best of the best.”
Of the 6,000 or more mosques in North America, 80 per cent are radical in orientation and devoted to spreading an intolerant Wahabi strain of Islam. They are funded by Saudi Arabia, he said.
David Harris, the former head of strategic planning at the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, said that Islamic fundamentalists are hostile to Canada and consider it a “Little Satan.”
He warned that Hezbollah has begun surveying sites in Canada for possible terrorist attacks.
Canada, though, innocently thinks it is immune to such aggression, Harris said.
John Thompson, the president of the MacKenzie Institute, a Canadian research organization, said Al Qaeda has a reservoir of recruits for at least a generation to come.
Tom Kay, the chief of police in Owen Sound and the immediate past president of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, said Canadian law enforcement agencies that combat terrorism are under-funded.
“We face complacency from people in power,” he said, referring to Canadian politicians at all levels.
It is scandalous that more money is not being allocated to counter-terrorism efforts, Kay said.
Leo Adler, the director of national affairs for Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, urged Canada to be more resolute in fighting terrorism.
Rather than operating in a vacuum, Jihadists work with highly honed organizations that supply them with funds, logistical support and intelligence, Adler commented.
