AMSTERDAM — Alderman Ahmed Aboutaleb has launched a blistering attack on the Dutch government for the way Cabinet ministers reacted to the murder of filmmaker Theo van Gogh.Moroccan-born Aboutaleb is in charge of Amsterdam City Council's Social Affairs Department and has been under 24-hour guard following threats to his life in the days after Van Gogh was killed....
Several politicians, including Aboutaleb, also received death threats, apparently from radicalised Muslims.
Speaking on a radio programme on Tuesday morning, Aboutaleb rated the government's response to the killing as "totally unsatisfactory".
He said the only major response from senior politicians in The Hague was the appearance of Immigration Minister Rita Verdonk at an intentionally noisy rally in central Amsterdam hours after the killing to honour Van Gogh's right to free speech.
Verdonk told the estimated 20,000 crowd that everyone — native Dutch and Muslim newcomers — had to decide "which side they were on" following Van Gogh's murder.
Aboutaleb said there had been an "icy silence" from The Hague in the following days. "Our task was to join in a dialogue with the public, but I didn't see the government really get involved. I feel I was let down," he said.
"We heard nothing from the heart of the cabinet. No minister came to Amsterdam, not even a state secretary [junior minister]."...
Referring to the "declaration of war" against Islamic extremism made by Deputy Prime Minister Gerrit Zalm, Aboutaleb said: "I am unbelievably angry".
Why?
Europe's decline and depopulation is obvious to us jihadwatchers but oblivious to everyone else, it seems.
What attitude should we take towards europe? I sometimes despair and think that europe deserves what it's asking for!
But I dunno if that's a wise attitude to take. How do you wean a sibling off the drug habit? Do you simply say " he/she deserves what s/he's asking for?" You try a little harder but eventually, they should take responsibility for their own actions. You maybe simply have to give up.
Alas, Europe, you shall be missed!

Send our condolences to Holland and the Van Gogh family for the horrendous slaughter of their national icon and son, encourage them not to give up.
All the efforts of various politicians to keep Turkey out of the EU, let these counties know, how much we all care for the values that hold us together. The eyes of the west are upon them in this time of crisis.

Be not mislead by mister Aboutaleb. He was silent about this for more then a month. Two days ago Theo van Gogh's parents were on national television, angry for being ignored by the dutch PM, J.P. Balkenende. Now all of a sudden Aboutaleb shows up and is making these statements, in the mean time forgetting that his own boss, Mayor Cohen of Amsterdam was never their either, while he should have been there for sure, for it all happened in his city.
Aboutaleb is a nice and friendly man. Well educated and all, but still he tries to strenghten the dhimmitude-status of Holland, for instance by pleading for seperated swimming in the public pools of Amsterdam. According to islam, boys and girls should be seperated. According to Aboutaleb too. He might be a nice man, but he might as well have a cruelsome agenda no one knows about yet.

The article is not complete on Aboutalebs views. In the Amsterdam newspaper Het Parool he also said that Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the liberal politician who made the film Submission together with the crually slain Theo van Gogh, did not help muslim women at all:
"If a factory manager claims to help people with a product and you attain the opposite effect, he will immediately withdraw that product from the market."
A remarkable way of putting it for a socialist. Let's say Aboutaleb is a true historical materialist.
Mr Aboutaleb has been mentioned within the social-democrat party as the future prime minister. They hope he will be the first muslim political leader of The Netherlands.
True dhimmitude, I would say. When Aboutaleb was interviewed after he became aldermen of Amsterdam, he said that he would not approve of his children marrying a non-muslim.

I forgot to mention his ambition to become PM of Holland. Funny thing, though, if you read maroccan websites in dutch, you'll find that plenty of the maroccan people are not interested at all. They see him as white man's little helper and worse, as a helper of the jews, who in their view control all the mass media.
