Jihadist pizza courier 'targeted' Amsterdam sex zone

Some like to compare Christian conservatives to jihadists. This is one of the differences. From Expatica, with thanks to Kemaste:

AMSTERDAM — Justice authorities arrested a Moroccan man last month after receiving a tip-off that Islamic extremists were allegedly planning an attack on the Red Light District in Amsterdam, it was reported on Friday.

The pizza-delivery courier allegedly conducted reconnaissance of the capital's prostitution zone while riding through the area during work hours on his scooter. He was arrested on 5 November. Newspaper De Telegraaf described him as a "radical Moroccan pizza deliverer".

And next gay bars will be bombed, and then men and women who are holding hands and kissing in public.

Hey sonny, you're in the wrong place if it's goats you're looking for

What is a 'radical Moroccan pizza deliverer'? Someone who forces you at gunpoint to accept pizza delivery whether you ordered or not?

Shiva, not sure if your goat comment is helpful to Spencer's cause. Might be the kind of thing that keeps Spencer's site from being linked by big media. We should avoid insult and stick to facts, which are damning enough.

Well, speaking as a Christian conservative, something tells me (the Bible? the Holy Spirit nagging my conscience? a little of both?) that using my pizza delivery job (if that were my job) to plan terrorism would be a violation against the commandments against both murder (desiring to kill my neighbor) and theft (wrong use of my employer's time).

Ed, Count me in with yours. It is very easy to lable someone as Rightist and be ignored.

The ideas that spring from this board is very rational and needs to be heard by more and more people, if we think the reasons that brought most of us here ought to be tackled and solved.

He seems like a nasty pizza work

But 'Radical Pizza Delivery' sounds like a good name for a company.

I wish that some Muslim would open a cafe-cum-sandwich-bar-cum-take-away and call it 'Allah's Snackbar'.

I'll have a radical morrocon pizza with lamb shank tagine, Apricot couscous, hold the red lentils.

An example of the enemy's adapting strategies. We can take nothing for granted.

Yes, I'm sure Christian conservatives have had slight issues with Amsterdam's Red Light district for years, but they don't plan death and destruction for it. At least nothing that's sanctioned by any priest or minister. But we do hear the constant, tiresome "fundies are all the same" argument from loony lefties who frantically try to equate Islam with other religions so as to divert attention from Islam. I don't know why the Left continues to protect Islam so much. Islam is so rabidly against many of the Left's pet projects - gay rights, sexual freedom, say and do what makes you feel good, etc.

I remember strolling by some shops in Amsterdam back when I was about 19 and I was quite shocked at what I saw. I suppose I led a rather sheltered life, compared to most Dutch. But I never thought to myself "I must destroy this!". I accepted it as a different country's attitude. The same as when I went swimming at a beach in Alexandria, Egypt and while my girlfriends and I were in bikinis, our fellow, Egyptian women bathers were in full black drapery and gold jewelry. Vive le difference! Too bad Islam can't get that concept. Next they'll be attacking nudist beaches.

Elephant, I am ROFL! All of your comments are great. Hmmm, I wonder how an anti-islamist stand-up comic would work? "Allah's Snackbar" is just the best!

I'll have a radical morrocon pizza with lamb shank tagine, Apricot couscous, hold the red lentils.

The Ents of Europe
Strange rumblings on the continent.
One of the many wondrous peoples that poured forth from the rich imagination of the late J. R. R. Tolkien were the Ents. These tree-like creatures, agonizingly slow and covered with mossy bark, nursed themselves on tales of past glory while their numbers dwindled in their isolation. Unable to reproduce themselves or to fathom the evil outside their peaceful forest — and careful to keep to themselves and avoid reacting to provocation of the tree-cutters and forest burners — they assumed they would be given a pass from the upheavals of Middle Earth.

But with the sudden arrival of two volatile hobbits, the nearby evils of timber-cutting, industrial devilry, and mass murder became too much for the Ents to stomach. They finally "wake up" (literally). Then they go on the offensive — and are amazed at the power they still wield in destroying Saruman's empire.
For Tolkien, who wrote in a post-imperial Britain bled white from stopping Prussian militarism and Hitler's Nazism, only to then witness the rise of the more numerous, wealthier, and crasser Americans, such specters were haunting. Indeed, there are variants of the Ent theme throughout Tolkien's novels, from the dormant Riders of Rohan — whose king was exorcised from his dotage and rallied the realm's dwindling cavalry to recover lost glory and save the West — to the hobbits themselves.
The latter, protected by slurred "Rangers," live blissfully unaware that radical changes in the world have brought evil incarnate to their very doorstep. Then to their amazement they discover that of all people, a hobbit rises to the occasion, and really does stand up well when confronted with apparently far more powerful and evil adversaries. The entire novel is full of such folk — the oath-breaking Dead who come alive to honor their once-broken pact, or the now-fallen and impotent High Elves who nevertheless do their part in the inevitable war to come.
Tolkien always denied an allegorical motif or any allusions to the contemporary dangers of appeasement or the leveling effects of modernism. And scholars bicker over whether he was lamenting the end of the old England, old Europe, or the old West — in the face of the American democratic colossus, the Soviet Union's tentacles, or the un-chivalrous age of the bomb. But the notion of decline, past glory, and 11th-hour reawakening are nevertheless everywhere in the English philologist's Lord of the Rings. Was he on to something?
More specifically, does the Ents analogy work for present-day Europe? Before you laugh at the silly comparison, remember that the Western military tradition is European. Today the continent is unarmed and weak, but deep within its collective mind and spirit still reside the ability to field technologically sophisticated and highly disciplined forces — if it were ever to really feel threatened. One murder began to arouse the Dutch; what would 3,000 dead and a toppled Eiffel Tower do to the French? Or how would the Italians take to a plane stuck into the dome of St. Peter? We are nursed now on the spectacle of Iranian mullahs, with their bought weapons and foreign-produced oil wealth, humiliating a convoy of European delegates begging and cajoling them not to make bombs — or at least to point what bombs they make at Israel and not at Berlin or Paris. But it was not always the case, and may not always be.
The Netherlands was a litmus test for Europe. Unlike Spain or Greece, which had historical grievances against Islam, the Dutch were the avatars of the new liberal Europe, without historical baggage. They were eager to unshackle Europe from the Church, from its class and gender constraints, and from any whiff of its racist or colonialist past. True, for a variety of reasons, Amsterdam may be a case study of how wrong Rousseau was about natural man, but for a Muslim immigrant the country was about as hospitable a foreign host as one can imagine. Thus, it was far safer for radical Islamic fascists to damn the West openly from a mosque in Rotterdam than for a moderate Christian to quietly worship in a church in Saudi Arabia, Iran, or Algeria. And yet we learn not just that the Netherlands has fostered a radical sect of Muslims who will kill and bomb, but, far more importantly, that they will do so after years of residency among, and indeed in utter contempt of, their Western hosts.
Things are no less humiliating — or dangerous — in France. Thousands of unassimilated Muslims mock French society. Yet their fury shapes its foreign policy to the degree that Jacques Chirac sent a government plane to sweep up a dying Arafat. But then what do we expect from a country that enriched Hamas, let Mrs. Arafat spend her husband's embezzled millions under its nose, gave Khomeini the sanctuary needed to destroy Iran, sold a nuclear reactor to Saddam, is at the heart of the Oil-for-Food scandal, and revs up the Muslim world against the United States?
Only now are Europeans discovering the disturbing nature of radical Islamic extremism, which thrives not on real grievance but on perceived hurts — and the appeasement of its purported oppressors. How odd that tens of millions of Muslims flocked to Europe for its material consumption, superior standard of living, and freedom and tolerance — and then chose not merely to remain in enclaves but to romanticize all the old pathologies that they had fled from in the first place. It is almost as if the killers in Amsterdam said, "I want your cell phones, unfettered Internet access, and free-spirited girls, but hate the very system that alone can create them all. So please let me stay here to destroy what I want."
Turkey's proposed entry into the EU has become some weird sort of Swiftian satire on the crazy relationship between Europe and Islam. Ponder the contradictions of it all. Privately most Europeans realize that opening its borders without restraint to Turkey's millions will alter the nature of the EU, both by welcoming in a radically different citizenry, largely outside the borders of Europe, whose population will make it the largest and poorest country in the Union — and the most antithetical to Western liberalism. Yet Europe is also trapped in its own utopian race/class/gender rhetoric. It cannot openly question the wisdom of making the "other" coequal to itself, since one does not by any abstract standard judge, much less censure, customs, religions, or values.
So it stews and simmers. Not to be outdone, some in Turkey dare the Europeans, almost in contempt, to reject their bid. Thus rather than evolving Attaturk's modernist reforms to match the values of Europe, the country is instead driven into the midst of an Islamic reactionary revival in which its rural east far more resembles Iraq or Iran than Brussels. So the world wonders whether Europe is sticking a toe into the Islamic Middle East or the latter its entire leg into Europe.
Everyone gets in on the charade. The savvy Greeks discovered that they didn't want to be tarred with the usual anti-Ottoman obstructionism and so are keeping very quiet about their historic worries (legitimate after a near 400-year occupation) as a front-line state. And why not, when EU money pouring into Turkey might jumpstart the Eastern Mediterranean economy and lead to joint Greek-Turkish deals? With the future role of NATO and the 6th Fleet undetermined, is it not better to have the Turkish military inside the tent than for poor Greece to have a neighbor's ships and planes routinely violating Hellenic air and sea sovereignty — while it waits for the Danish air force or the French army to provide a little deterrence in the Aegean or Cyprus?
Of course, we are amused by the spectacle. Privately, most Americans grasp that with a Germany and France reeling from unassimilated Muslim populations, a rising Islamic-inspired and globally embarrassing anti-Semitism, and economic stagnation, it is foolhardy to create 70 million Turkish Europeans by fiat. Welcoming in Turkey will make the EU so diverse, large, and unwieldy as to make it — to paraphrase Voltaire — neither European nor a Union. Surely Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia will wish to get in on the largess. Were they not, after all, also part of the historical Roman mare nostrum, and did they not also enjoy long ties with France and Italy?
So, to our discredit I suppose, we are enjoying schadenfreud after our recent transatlantic acrimonies: Europe preached a postmodern gospel of multiculturalism and the end of oppressive Western values, and now it is time to put its money (and security) where its mouth is — or suffer the usual hypocrisy that all limousine liberals face. The United States has its own recent grievances with the Turks — its eleventh-hour refusal to allow American troops to come down from the north explains why the now red-hot Sunni Triangle never saw much war during the three-week fighting. Recently a minister of a country that gave rise to the notion of 20th-century genocide slurred the United States for resembling Hitler, who in fact was an erstwhile Turkish near ally. Still, our realists muse, how convenient that Europe may carry the water in bringing Turkey inside the Western orbit and prevent it from joining the radical Islamic fringe. Knowing it is in our interest (and not necessarily in the Europeans') and will cost them lots and us nothing, we "on principle" remonstrate for the need to show Western empathy to Turkish aspirations.
But gut-check time is coming for Europe, with its own rising unassimilated immigrant populations, rogue mosques entirely bent on destroying the West, declining birth rate and rising entitlements, the Turkish question, and a foreign policy whose appeasement of Arab regimes won it only a brief lull and plenty of humiliation. The radical Muslim world of the madrassas hates the United States because it is liberal and powerful; but it utterly despises Europe because it is even more liberal and far weaker, earning the continent not fear, but contempt.
The real question is whether there is any Demosthenes left in Europe, who will soberly but firmly demand assimilation and integration of all immigrants, an end to mosque radicalism, even-handedness in the Middle East, no more subsidies to terrorists like Hamas, a toughness rather than opportunist profiteering with the likes of Assad and the Iranian theocracy — and make it clear that states that aid and abet terrorists in Europe due so to their great peril.
So will the old Ents awaken, or will they slumber on, muttering nonsense to themselves, lost in past grandeur and utterly clueless about the dangers on their borders?
Stay tuned — it is one of the most fascinating sagas of our time.

NOW ED LET,S GET DOWN TO THE NITTY GRITTY
The Muslim way of life excludes the boy-friend/Girl-friend system, mixed parties, dancing between men and women, taking alcohol or drugs, and other facets of the Western way of life which are well known to provide the situation from which pre-marital and extra-marital sexual relations develop.Fifthly sex outside marriage is considered in Islam law not only as a sin but as a crime which is punished under the law in the same way as theft or murder. The punishment for it applies equally to the man and woman and is severe and deterrent in its effect.
It would be a mistake to underestimate the reaction of fundamentalist Muslims regarding issues involving sex. This is not to suggest that Islam’s holy warriors are more or less lustful than any other people, but that their religion prohibits any open expression of sexual attraction, holding hands, kissing in public, or dressing provocatively. So, while Islam can be extraordinarily candid about sex, it still is something it wants restricted to the marriage chamber. Adultery can rate a death sentence in some Muslim nations.
We now live in a time when fundamentalist elements of the Islamic population are waging a worldwide terror war to preserve the seventh century sexual traditions of a fringe culture and laws set down by a man whose own sex life must surely astonish and even appall any Muslim who examines it. When it comes to sex, the Islamic holy war is being fought in the name of a man who did not feel restrained by the rules of his own era.
Many Muslims look upon the West with an arrogant sense of moral superiority. It’s not that Western behavior is anything to brag about, but it surely isn’t a good reason for which to be killed either.
Should there be an attack in any red liight district, they can not claim itis because of the wests loose morals It will be an one more attempt to strike fear into the hearts of the infidels, this is the sort of tactic they have beem using throughout the history of Islam. So for them to claim that they are offended with what is going on in The Wallen,The Reeperban,IsterGaade or Soho,I say crap,They should go back and take a good long look in their own so pure nations, and this is what they may find

MORROCO Morocco - Home of a Homosexual King and Child Sex Slavery

The newest king of Morocco, direct descendent of Muhammad, is a homosexual. He promised the people of his Country, that he would Reform their Social Ills and provide Social Programs to benefit women and children. Rather, child sex slavery is at an all time high.
King of Morocco Outed by Dutch Media
By Rex Wockner
International News Report
King Mohammed VI Dutch national television news' NOS-Journaal has reported that the new king of Morocco, Sidi Moulay Mohammed (Mohammed VI), is gay, according to the Dutch newspaper De Gay Krant.
The report has led to weekly anti-media demonstrations in the city of Utrecht, which has a large Moroccan population and is 15 kilometers from the TV network's headquarters in Hilversum.
Mohammed, 36, went to college in Brussels, Belgium, and regularly hung out in gay bars there, De Gay Krant said.
And his homosexuality is "common knowledge" in Moroccan intellectual circles, Marrakech resident Tony Flavel told the newspaper.
But you better not talk about it," he said. "The police and the armed forces are against the new king for precisely this reason. They would prefer his younger straight brother, Moulay Rashid."
NOS-Journaal Editor-in-Chief Hans Brom told De Gay Krant that the program's journalists are sure of their facts.
The truth cannot be rectified," he said "Our correspondent, Robbert Bosschard, spoke with the chief of police and the commander-in-chief of the Moroccan army. They were convinced that the new king is gay and they were afraid of the future under a homosexual monarch."
Gay sex is banned in Morocco by Article 489 of the Penal Code. The punishment is up to three years in jail and a fine of up to 1200 dirham (US$122).

A child dangles on a rope strung to the top of a six-metre high bulwark of cement that keeps Casablanca port free of its poor. For Omar, a street-child aged ten, the rope is a lifeline. Over the ramparts, scores of tankers hold the promise of stowing away to Europe.
Dozens of children climb the rope every night to flee the misery of street-life in Morocco. In a country where the king has 23 palaces, the child charity, Bayti, Arabic for home, estimates more than 10,000 children in Casablanca alone are now homeless. Until recently, all were male. Now girls stalk the street with the gangs - a motley crew of abandoned children, runaway child maids, and the rejects of broken homes. Children as young as six live a life on the run from police hunting for children to dump in borstals run by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The lucky find refuge in the fishing harbour, a safe haven from police round-ups. Sleeping on the roofs of makeshift huts, or under the counters of the fish market, at night the foul smell of 'solution', or glue, competes with that of rotten sardine. Children stumble like drunks at the quayside, sniffing sobs laced in glue. Morocco - better known for its tourist-luring beaches and medieval sites - is hardly alone in facing the problem. It is estimated that in Africa as a whole, two in five children under 15 are working. And around the world the total is likely to be some 250 million. But in few Muslim countries has urbanisation reaped such a toll on traditional family values.

Slave Trade
The neglect of Morocco's street-children is just the tip of the iceberg of Morocco's child crisis. Across the kingdom, I encountered dozens of children treated as commodities, just as the slave trade of old.
Parents are raising their children for sale,' says Bashir Nzaggi, news editor with the respected Moroccan newspaper, Liberation. 'They send them to work in the towns, and never see them except to collect their pay-packets.'
According to a recent government survey, 2.5 million children aged under 15 drop out of school, and more than half a million work. Many pursue the tradition of toil in the fields. But in exchange of $30 a month, tens of thousands of parents are now contracting their children to urban families to work as domestic servants in conditions of near slavery. Dealers earn up to $200 per child. It's so institutionalized that kitchens are still designed with low counters for child-maids to wash and cut vegetables.

Social Services
Social Services Social workers say most parents regret the loss of their children, but argue they had little choice. Millions of Moroccans live in regions where state services fail to reach.
There are no accurate figures for the numbers of child maids, but social acceptance ensures the practice is widespread. Non-Governmental Organization's say the state must regulate the trade, ensure children and parents receive 'security guarantees' from their employers, and perform regular inspections. 'In Morocco, a home is considered a castle,' says Najjat Majid, the founder of Bayti. 'We have no right to enter homes, even when we know maids are being abused.' Sixty per cent of the children in her refuge, she says, are victims of sexual abuse. Under Morocco's strict Islamic family law, the state treats pregnant child-maids as the accused. Abortion is illegal, and single mothers giving birth in hospital are reported to the police.

Overseas Trade
As the numbers of child slaves grow, so does the clandestine trade. A mere eight miles from Europe in Tangiers, brokers direct the cross-water traffic. Children are dispatched to climb onto the chassis of trucks loaded with hashish for southern Spain. Minors are preferable - if they're caught they're harder to prosecute than adults. Moroccan immigration officers say each year they uncover children frozen to death in refrigerated lorries.
But the organisation is not just at ports. Across Morocco, cottage industries seek to cut costs by replacing adults with child workers. Shoe-shining seven year-olds hire their shoe-shine boxes from Fagin-types for seven dirhams [70 cents] a day. And prostitution is often a step-up from penury. The US State department report says there are tens of thousands of child prostitutes in Morocco, serving the cities and military barracks.

Sex Trade
Increasingly, Morocco's reputation for child sex is luring an international clientele. Sex tourists from the West tout the old slave markets of Marrakech to buy sex with children. But now an export market has also begun to emerge. Last year, police in a market town in the plains north of Marrakech, bust a network trafficking in 13-year old boys destined for brothels in Italy. Police arrested the dealer, who had - said reports - paid parents $3,000 per child. We are determined to pursue a course of progress and development for all Moroccans, in particular the poor,' King Mohammed VI promised his people in his first speech on the throne. Crowds hailed the young monarch as 'king of the poor'. But after a year on the throne, the problem has only got worse. His prime minister, the leftist leader Abderrahmane Youssifi, was elected on a ticket of social reform, but has failed to change the law where vagrancy is treated as a crime, not a social disease. And the credibility of both king and his prime minister are suffering, as they fail to protect the very communities they promised to save.
Rich And Poor
Forbes magazine lists the King of Morocco as one of the richest men in the world. And yet more than five million Moroccans live on less than a dollar a day.
Maid Market
At a market in Hay Karama, Pelham witnessed the sale of domestic maids. He comments,For an adult you'll pay about $80 a month, for a child $20. Through one door I found 20 maids, aged eight and upwards, crammed into two ground-floor rooms. The proprieter told me, "This year the standard is high. Because of the failed rains, parents are desperate to find homes for their children".'

WE CAN SEE THE SAME THROUGH OUT THE ISLAMIC WORLD AND THESE ISLAMIC THUGS ARE ATTACKING THE WEST BECAUSE WE HAVE NOT WOKEN UP TO THE REALITIES OF THIS SKUM

Aah.

How can any sane person condone this propensity (and absolute moral imperative) in muslims to commit violence on anyhting and everything they don't agree with? No, don't tell me that I'm unfairly tarring all muzzies, including suposedly moderate ones with the same brush because its simply not true!

How many muslims have come out strongly and unequivocally against Van Gogh's murder? Or Rushdie's fatwa? Sure, there're those who say they oppose the killing, but.. and that 'but' is crucial. They've always sought to mitigate the crime by appelaing to blashphemy.

Why does there not exist a 'left wing' in muslim countires? These commie-leftists, scourge of every free society on earth, are miracoulously mising from the happening islamic scene. How come? Nobody to campaign for the copts, for the B'deshi hindus, for the pagans in papua, the armenianas in turkey or the christians in pakistan? No hint at separating church and state in these societies (sure, turkey's valiantly tried and is now relapsing), no pretense at the same??

Think twice before you order out from
the "Pizza Mosque"
or "Abu John's"
or "Red Imam"
or "DomiMo's"!

You're right there Feralee,

As a Christian Evangelical I deplore any red light district, especially Amsterdams, it has to be, I would imagine, the worst in the World.

But what response do the Christians have?

This.

Getting in and amongst the people there to try and help them out of that situation.

I had some friends who worked in the red light district (as missionaries!) for years.
They saw lots of the 'Ladies' helped and leave that life behind them.

Naseem; Are you out there??

Care to comment on the Muslim response to these people? To kill them??

Regards,

Kc

In fact Naseem, don't bother.

I'll compare Jesus' and Mohammeds' responses to simular situations;

JESUS
From John 8:2-11

“At dawn He (Jesus) appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" They were using this question as a trap in order to have a basis to accuse Him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with His finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to threw a stone at her." Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" "No one sir", she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."

MUHAMMAD
From the Hadith of Abu Dawud, #4428

"Buraidah said: "A woman of Ghamid came to the Prophet and said: "I have committed fornication", He said: "Go back". She returned and on the next day she came to him again, and said: "Perhaps you want to send me back as you did to Maiz b. Malik. I swear by Allah, I am pregnant." He said to her: "Go back". She then returned and came to him the next day. He said to her: "Go back until you give birth to the child." She then returned. When she gave birth to the child she brought the child to him, and said: "Here it is! I have given birth to it." He said: "Go back, and suckle him until you wean him." When she had weaned him, she brought him to him with something in his hand which he was eating. The boy was then given to a certain man of the Muslims and he (the prophet) commanded regarding her. So a pit was dug for her, and he gave orders about her and she was stoned to death.

Kc

There's obviously no need for anyone to go to the defense of Shiva. But there is a worrying trend recently to censor, or at least to pretend it's something else by calling it moderationg, the words of our fellow writers, ostensibly for the purpose of gaining greater readership among the great unwashed.I object to the entire idea of trashing the voice of dissent, regardless of the source, Reza or kj or kirt or Naseem or anyone else who stays within the laws of the land. for all our good intentions, just who do we think we are that we know what people should or shouldn't express? I don't like the concept of censorship. Should you be banned for suggesting it? this is a forum for many people, not just those who want to make-nice to gain readership.

Someone wrote here a day or so ago that he knows all there is to know about Islam, just two words: Nine and Eleven. That man is my friend. Those who can't figure out the basics, 9/11, don't belong here. We waste our time pursuing them. We do not need their approval or agreement. I prefer their abscence. this struggle is so obviously on our side that it's a matter of utter amazement that we aren't overwhelmed daily by raging anti-jihadists. We aren't. People refuse to look at this situation because the status quo is too comfortable and reality as it truely is is too frightening for them to consider. Tough. At base, 9/11 is the ultimate symbol of this struggle. the "root causes of terrorism laying in the exploitation of the oppressed, and cet." are revolvting sophistries that do not require responses. The paid dhimmis Hugh so often exposes are sickening creatures we have no need to refer to. And the philobarbarists and sentimentalists of the middle, as it were, will come round when the West decides it's time to stand up. The hobby-Communists will forever wail and beat their hairless chests because they are pathological, and who really cares? 9/11. Us-them.

The Netherlands is under attack by early Medieval barbarians. Either they have a legitimate point of view that deserves consideration and possible adoptation by the West or they're primitives who committ murder and mayhem. This isn't rocket science or arithmatic or hard stuff like that. this is a preetty basic problem of the Dutch not being able to live their lives as they so choose. If they choose to be pot-smoking prostitutes, let missionaries save them. But when it comes to savages bombing and maiming and killing because they don't like the ways of the host nation's majority, if the Dutch ethos is problematic for them, let them leave.

We know they won't go back to Morocco or any other sh*t-hole nation they come from. they are in the netherlands to stay and to conquer as they did when they left for Jugoslav Macedonia, where they went from a few per cent to a third of the population within months and then tried to seperate and join Albania. the Netherlands will be Jugoslavia if the Dutch don't put a stop to this problem immediately. and should we worry that the mainstream media finds that culturally insensitive? Who cares? Nine Eleven, mate.

Why don't we have thousands of people puring letters into this site hourly? Because Westerners are civil and social. To this day we think of the Moslem world as somehow deserving of yet another chance to show us how we really have misunderstood them, and that it might somehow be our fault that they are so primitive and suicidally inclined that they kill and die on the spot. We have immense trouble understanding that they are simply primitive and suicidal. These people are the worst low-life peasants one can find anywhere on Earth. What's to understand?

9/11.

Goat-herders and "animal trainers" are not people we have to take seriously as people with culture. The peasant world is finished. The bifurcation of Humanity is upon us, and those who cling to the savagery of the past, of all the primitivism of the world's history summed up in Islam, thsoe people cannot survive in the world as it's becoming, and they know it as clearly as they know the words of Allah. All peasant cultures are finished. Thsoe who cling are dying, anxd they know they cannot survive. They are suicidal. they are enraged. We have a duty to save those we can. The rest will die. The peasant world is imploding, and the Islamic world is the greatezst manifestaion of that. they cannot survive. They cannot feed themselves. they cannot stop breeding more to die. they cannot think, and they cannot take back the world as it was, the world of violent imperialism and conquest by sword. Peasants are finished. Islam is dying, and it's taking millions with it when it goes. Progress, such as it is, is over-whelming the lost world of subsistence and lord-ship.

Should we say nice things about the Moslems so the press of the world will say nice things about Robert's site? Forget it. We do not need the press. The press, if it hasn't become clear to us in the couse of our lives, needs us. The government, every government, needs the citizens. It is, everytime, the citizens who have to take responsibility for their government, even if that means war and revolution and destruction. In the case of the West, we vote. We cannot claim the government is tricking us and deluding the public. We are the public. If we rely on the pres to spread our messag we will abdicate our responsibility to rule ourselves as free men and women in free nations. We know what the problem is. 9/11. We know what to do about it: stop Islam. We know how: gather our fellows into a movement that will make the government and the press respond to our demands. I will not say nice things to appease the press and the government.

Killing Dutch prostitutes and passers-by is not tolerable. Trying to say it's not tolerable in some timid fashion that will appeal to the press isn't going over well with me either. Trying to censor thsoe who are extremely upset and perhaps inarticulate as well, Who are we to tell them to shut up and write something other than what they feel and in their own words? At what point do we simply silence them altogether and do their writing for them?

We have serious concerns here. 9/11. How's that? Or van Gogh? or Ayaan Hirsi Ali? or Dutch prostitutes? Forget about those who pander to the Moslems and to each other, trying to be ever so much cooler than their fellows. We have serious work to do contacting those who know all there is to know about Islam: 9/11. Where are the thousands of men and women who should be here hourly demanding the end to this Moslem outrage against our civilization? No more pandering to the press and the government. We have no reason to appologize for anything we say here?

More, Shiva. More, Catherine. More, Hugh.

Well like a conservative catholic I don´t like this amsterdamer district but like Kepha1 says, we are christians and we have to change the world, not to destroy it, and the muslims, a fanatical sect without any reason, don´t know to proselite without a sword, greetings

In the Way of the Prophet: Ideologies and Institutions in Dearborn, Michigan, America's Muslim Capitol
by Patrick Belton

Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Rahim: on Fridays in America’s Muslim capital of Dearborn, Michigan, the ancient Islamic sentence of invocation wafts over the blighted streets of greater Detroit, drifting out from residents gathering for prayer.

The blighted streets lined with hourly-rental motels that lead from Detroit into the suburb of Dearborn gradually give way to busy avenues dotted with mosques and thriving small businesses. Arabic signs advertise attorneys and physicians, passers-by speak Levantine and Gulf dialects of Arabic, and on the sidewalks women wear the colorful headscarves of hijab.

Dearborn is a microcosm of the Middle East planted in the Midwestern United States. The roughly 40,000 of Dearborn’s 100,000 residents that are Arab American defy the myth many Americans hold of a unified Muslim world, filled with parading masses bearing the likeness of Ayatollah Khomenei. While there are some radical Islamists, Dearborn’s growing Muslim population runs the gamut from international traders to educated professionals to local business owners. Every Arab nationality and religious sect is found here, from Yemeni traditionalism to secular modernity.

East and West in Dearborn Mosques

The evolution of Dearborn mosques reflects the ongoing debate since the late 1960s between conservative and liberal elements of American Muslim society. Conservative movements, including Islamic revivalism, can be traced to Middle Eastern influences such as the Iranian Revolution, which parts of Dearborn embraced when the spiritual guide of Hizbollah, Sheikh Mohammed Fadlallah, spoke to an enthusiastic audience of Shi’a refugees in neighboring Southfield’s Bonnie Brook Country Club. More religious than political in appeal, Islamic revivalism tries to stem the tide of integration into non-Islamic American society. Liberal movements descend both from the secular pan-Arabic movement pioneered by former Egyptian president Gamal Abdel-Nasser–Nasserism–and from American influences such as the Civil Rights Movement. Liberals work to construct a distinct Arab American identity and incorporate it into mainstream American life.

The Balance of Left and Right

Imam Chirri sought to construct the Jami’, as an ideologically broad church, and served well as statesman both in responding to pressures from his more conservative constituencies as well as in casting a favorable public image of his religion in America. He was always grateful to Nasser for financial support, defending him publicly when Nasserism had waned as a popular Arab ideology. Initially distancing himself from the Palestinian cause–early on, he counseled Palestinian activists to resign themselves to the reality of Israeli’s statehood and the need for a two-state solution–as his mosque filled with Lebanese refugees, Chirri became publicly opposed to Israel.

In response to the conservative desires of recent immigrants, some changes have taken place–hijab is now common practice, where it had not been before, and the use of the Center for wedding dances and other communal celebrations, common until the 1960s, has ceased. Some Americanized Muslims in Dearborn feel that the arrival of more conservative immigrants has diverted the earlier project of creating an Islamic community that was at once truly Islamic and American.

Starting with the School Board

In February of 2001, Dearborn Public Schools began accepting proposals from halal food distributors to provide food to its 28 public schools. “The whole point is to give foods they can eat, so they’re nourished and can function in the classroom,” Bob Cipriano, the district’s business manager, told the New York Times. Eight years earlier, Dearborn schools banned pork from their lunches to accommodate Muslim dietary guidelines.

Pressure from the city’s school board, organized groups of parents, and the federal and state governments has resulted in further accommodations to Muslim students in Dearborn’s public schools. Parental advocacy forced the separation of gym classes by gender in one Southend school. And the federal Office of Civil Rights has been responsible for several expansions of bilingual instruction for Arab-speaking students.

As the governmental body to which Muslims and Arabs first won election of municipal positions, Dearborn’s school board has played in important role in both school and community affairs. A recent bond issue led to the emergence on the board of a cohesive, energetic pro-Arab bloc marked by its idealism and tactical skill. A coalition of neighborhood activists defeated bond proposals of $50 million in 1999 and 2000 that would have allocated insufficient funding to heavily overcrowded Arab schools. Two of those activists, Mary Lane and Aimee Blackburn, subsequently won election to the school board, from there devising a $150 million bond to construct three new elementary schools and 26 new high school classrooms in Arab neighborhoods. The remainder of the board acquiesced in the proposal, certain that it, like the others, would fail. With the assistance of Abed Hammoud, this last bond proposal carried with 900 votes. The campaign’s success markedly raised the local political profile of Dearborn’s Arab and Muslim communities, as well as that of the Arab American Political Action Committee founded by Hammoud (himself a former mayoral candidate) and now led by Osama Siblani.

Muslims and the Broader Community

White elected officials, with the exception of the school board officials already noted, boast of their “good ties” to the Arab community while complaining off the record of its growing influence within the city. While Dearborn’s white residents brag about how well their city weathered the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the Arabs are quicker to remember the broken storefront windows, the threatening 2 a.m. telephone calls, and insulting highway graffiti. They also remember Abed Hammoud’s sudden setback on September 11, the day of Dearborn’s mayoral primary. Arab Americans feared leaving their homes to go to the polls while whites made an abrupt decision to vote for Dearborn’s Italian American candidate.

Yemen

Unaccompanied Yemeni males had been migrating to Dearborn since the beginning of Arab immigration, but in the mid-1970s they began to arrive in larger numbers. Less educated and less fluent in English than other Muslim immigrants, they hold unskilled positions in Dearborn and send remittances to their families in Yemen. Rather than bring their families to Dearborn, they themselves return to Yemen–frequently and, with time, permanently. More strictly religious than many of the other groups, the Yemenis shun what they regard as the corruptive influence of American society. They concentrate in Southend with other Yemenis, with the result that the neighborhood now shows the influence of the Yemeni countryside in dress, its absence of women from public spaces, and the centering of male social life around the neighborhood’s coffeehouses. From the mid-1980s on, an increasing proportion–rising from a tenth to a quarter–of Yemenis have immigrated as intact families rather than solitary males.

That was rightous sonofwalker. Both barrels at the same time.

I demand an end to this Islamic outrage against our civilization!

Now, everybody join in; We demand an end to this Islamic outrage against our civilization!

Now, break it open and reload. Remember 9/11.

You know what would be a really smart thing for some country to do? Maybe some poor country in central or south America?

What if some country banned Islam completely, and then watch the numbers of people who wish to emigrate to those countries. There would be huge lines of people standing outside the consulates waiting to emigrate their, I can assure you.

About the child sex trade, please some-one notify the police or interpol or whoever deals with that situation. This has to be stopped.

The main reason for the "Jihad-to-go" being caught was from a mix-up in addresses, when the Pizza arrived at the wrong home the "X-Large,hold the anchovies" turned out to be "X-large,hold the C-4 " and the box lid reads: "delivered in 30 minutes or we blow ourselves up".
Maybe these Jihadists should try the services of these girls or even men within the Red-light district,Muslim men may have a large Bag like Santa but at least HE comes once a year and that relieves allot of tension and built up anger.

When will the tree-hugging lefties see that the goal for the Islamists is to murder all the 5 Billion non-Muslims on Earth to claim the land for the glory of Allah and Islam.

sonofwalker,

Bravo. Stirring post indeed.

I too agree witht he contention that short of the fire-in-a-crowded-theatre kind of 'free speech', most else is both permissable and desirable.

Free speech would, in the limit, hopefully converge towards truth. And alongwith freedom, truth as it stands, is islam's greatest enemy.

If ANYONE is intending to BOMB PREMISES because they don't agree with what they're used for - THEY ARE POTENTIAL MURDERERS -full stop!! Murderous Muslims who either can't or won't adjust to living in the West ought to be removed
PRONTO. There is no way their barbarous Stone Age Death Cult invented in the Seventh Century by a crazy self styled Prophet, is going to be TOLERATED by any Civilized Society.
I believe, before too long, there will be fighting in the streets because of the terrible mistakes and blindness [not to mention Saudi payments] to our Politicians. One thing for sure, we are NOT going to give up our Lands without a
struggle - expect larger copies of Bosnia
Kashmir and any raging conflicts where Muslim
menace has reached the deadly 20%!!

Elephant--

Thanks alot! Now I've got the "call to dinner" running in my head: "Allaaaaahu's Snackbar." : D

More seriously, tho'-- I went to the red light district in Amsterdam when I was 20; I saw a thing or two that I never would have thought, er, anatomically possible... But I have to say that the red light district in Taipei, Taiwan shocked me more, because there the female workers all appeared to be between 11-14 years old.

And about this Pizza Jihadi--just what kind of "recon" work was he conducting in the red light district, lol? Betcha he wasn't just an uninvolved observer, but also a client. Makes me feel so sorry for those working girls in Amsterdam.

Yes Morgane,

Saudi payments to politicians, and to the media, and to universities, etc..
One day it will all be clear.

ed-

Right at the top, you got the entire religion in a phrase:

'They force you pay for a delivery whether you ordered it or not.'

Sounds like Islam's entire modus vivendi and
-operandi.

9/11 till today.

But I also have a 'tip' for their attempted delivery:

"After a while, if you keep on poking a large predator with a stick*, it will turn and tear you and yours apart.'

Sounds reasonable to me.

**** **** ****

Meanwhile-

Politicians and moderate voices on the 'stronger side' (West & its allies) play weak.

Those on the 'weaker side' (Islamic nations) act invincible. (A trick Stalin used after WW II to gobble up Eastern Europe, successfully.)

Fewer people believe EITHER.

And those in the West -and allied countries- who are threatened by an unreasonable creed [ -fill-in-approproaite-theo-terrorist-sect-here- ] will react in self-preservation.

Even sooner if the obnoxious guests don't learn to reason among themselves, calm their maniacs, and behave humanely.

A prerequisite before they demand 'reasonable treatment' from their hosts.

*Or pizza delivery spies or slaughtered film-makers or mass-murder.

Catherine, the article about Dearborn was excellent. Thanks for posting it. I read it aloud to my children, who are homeschooled. My eldest looked confused, and said,"Mama, that can't be true! What about separation of church and state?".

Poor kid.

As for the child sex trade, is anyone at all surprised? You only have to remember PATV's children's show praising martyrdom for young children, or think about Palestinians using children to attack Israeli soldeirs to realize that their children have absolutely no value to them whatsoever.

voletti
Why does there not exist a 'left wing' in muslim countires? These commie-leftists, scourge of every free society on earth, are miracoulously mising from the happening islamic scene. How come?
The answer to this could be a very a bitter pill for you and lot good folks on this site and for a lot of Americans in General to swallow.
So get a spoonful of sugar,to help this go down.
We had about 14 years of peace pior to the WTC
We had beaten the COMMIES-RUSKIES.Im the cold war the Ruskies had two fronts they where fighting on,one being us and the other islam. And America and Europe saw this and started helping many Islamic regimes and dictatorships to get rid the commie left.
We only have to to look at Afganistan, where we even went as far as to arm what was to become our worst enemy
We only have to look at the Balkans, even though the commies where beaten,we bombed the Serbs, partly becase of a slight leftist element in Serbia, and some very shady dealiing in the Clinton Goverment[Riady Affair and more],Clintcn even went as far as to take one terrorist groups of the blacklist. The destruction and killing is still going on today, while one man who really did see the truth of islam and was to prepared to go all the way to stop it is now in the Hague facing war crimes.Milosovic is one of the few people who realise that human rights and rules of war gannot apply to creatures who choose to live outside the parameters of being human.
The war on the COMMIES-RUSKIES-LEFISTS has been fought in a lot of islamic nations. Here is one example I can show
CIA-organised holocaustThe 'Jewel of Asia
The bloody coup in Indonesia was the outcome of the drive by US imperialism to gain unchallenged control of the immense natural wealth and strategic resources of the archipelago, often referred to as the "Jewel of Asia".

The importance that United States imperialism attached to Indonesia was emphasised by US President Eisenhower in 1953, when he told a state governors' conference that it was imperative for the US to finance the French colonial war in Vietnam as the "cheapest way" to keep control of Indonesia.

Eisenhower detailed: "Now let us assume that we lose Indochina. If Indochina goes, several things happen right away. The Malay peninsula, the last little bit of land hanging on down there, would be scarcely defencible. The tin and tungsten we so greatly value from that area would cease coming, and all India would be outflanked.

"Burma would be in no position for defence. All of that position around there is very ominous to the United States, because finally if we lost all that, how would the free world hold the rich empire of Indonesia?

"So you see, somewhere along the line, this must be blocked and it must be blocked now, and that is what we are trying to do.

"So when the US votes $400 million to help the war (in Indochina), we are not voting a giveaway program. We are voting for the cheapest way that we can prevent the occurrence of something that would be of a most terrible significance to the United States of America, our security, our power and ability to get certain things we need from the riches of the Indonesian territory and from South East Asia.

Indonesia is estimated to be the fifth richest country in the world in terms of natural resources. Besides being the fifth largest oil producer, it has enormous reserves of tin, bauxite, coal, gold, silver, diamonds, manganese, phosphates, nickel, copper, rubber, coffee, palm oil, tobacco, sugar, coconuts, spices, timber and cinchona (for quinine).

By 1939 the then Dutch East Indies supplied more than half the total US consumption of 15 key raw materials. Control over this vital region was central to the conflict in the Pacific between the US and Japan during World War II. In the post-war period the US ruling class was determined not to have the country's riches torn from their grasp by the Indonesian masses.

Following the defeat of the French in Vietnam in 1954 the US feared that the struggle of the Vietnamese masses would ignite revolutionary upheavals throughout the South East Asian region, threatening its grip over Indonesia.

In 1965, just prior to the Indonesian coup, Richard Nixon, soon to become US president, called for the saturation bombing of Vietnam to protect the "immense mineral potential" of Indonesia. Two years later he declared Indonesia to be the "greatest prize" of South East Asia.

After the coup, the value of Suharto's dictatorship to the interests of US imperialism was underlined in a 1975 US State Department report to Congress which referred to Indonesia as the "most strategically authoritative geographic location on earth":

"It has the largest population of any country in South East Asia.
"It is the principal supplier of raw materials from the region.
"Japan's continued economic prosperity depends heavily on oil and other raw materials supplied by Indonesia.
"Existing American investments in Indonesia are substantial, and our trading relationship is growing rapidly.
"Indonesia will probably become an increasingly important supplier of US energy needs.
"Indonesia is a member of OPEC, but assumed a moderate stance in its deliberations, and did not participate in the oil embargo.
"The Indonesian archipelago sits astride strategic waterways and the government of Indonesia is playing a vital role in the law-of-the-sea negotiations which are vital to our security and commercial interests."

In preparation for the coup, US officials had spent at least two years compiling death lists which were handed over to the military with a clear instruction: exterminate them all. Suharto's men were ordered to report back after each set of killings so the names could be checked off on the CIA's lists.

Some of the American officers involved described what took place. "It really was a big help to the army," said a former political officer in the US embassy in Jakarta, Robert Martens. "They probably killed a lot of people and I probably have a lot of blood on my hands, but that's not all bad.

"There's a time when you have to strike hard at a decisive moment."

Martens headed an embassy group of State Department and CIA officers who, from 1962, compiled a detailed who's who of the leadership of the PKI. They included, he said, names of provincial, city and other local PKI committee members, and leaders of PKI-backed trade union, women's and youth groups.
The operation was masterminded by former CIA director William Colby, who was then director of the CIA's Far East Division, and thus responsible for directing US covert strategy in Asia. Colby said the work to identify the PKI leadership was a forerunner to the CIA's Phoenix Program in Vietnam, which attempted to exterminate supporters of the National Liberation Front in the late 1960s.

Colby admitted that the work of checking off the death lists was regarded as so important that it was supervised at the CIA's intelligence directorate in Washington. "We came to the conclusion that with the sort of draconian way it was carried out, it really set them (the PKI) back for years."

Deputy CIA station chief Joseph Lazarsky described with undisguised relish how Suharto's Jakarta headquarters provided the US embassy with running reports on the roundup and killing of PKI leaders. "We were getting a good account in Jakarta of who was being picked up. The army had a 'shooting list' of about 4,000 or 5,000 people.

"They didn't have enough goon squads to zap them all, and some individuals were valuable for interrogation. The infrastructure was zapped almost immediately. We knew what they were doing. We knew they would keep a few and save them for the kangaroo courts, but Suharto and his advisers said, if you keep them alive, you have to feed them."

All this was conducted with the approval of Green who was later appointed US ambassador to Australia, where he played a leading role in the preparations for the dismissal of the Whitlam government in 1975.

At least one million people were slaughtered in the six month holocaust that followed the coup. This was the estimate of a team of University of Indonesia graduates commissioned by the army itself to inquire into the extent of the killings.

Instigated and aided by the army, gangs of youth from right-wing Muslim organisations carried out mass killings, particularly in central and east Java. There were reports that at certain points the Brantas River near Surabaya was "choked with corpses". Another report from the east Javan hill town of Batu said there were so many killed within the narrow confines of a police courtyard that the bodies were simply covered over with layers of cement.

On the island of Bali, formerly considered to be a PKI stronghold, at least 35,000 were killed by the beginning of 1966. There the Tamins, the storm-troopers of Sukarno's PNI (Indonesian National Party) performed the slaughter. A special correspondent of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung told of bodies lying along the roads, or heaped in pits, and of half-burned villages in which peasants dared not leave the charred shells of their huts.

In other areas suspects were forced to kill their alleged comrades with their own hands to prove their loyalty. In the major cities anti-Chinese pogroms were conducted. Workers and public servants who went on strike in protest at the counter-revolutionary wave of terror were sacked.

At least 250,000 workers and peasants were thrown into concentration camps. An estimated 110,000 were still held as political prisoners at the end of 1969. Executions continue to this day, including several dozen since the early 1980s. Another four prisoners, Johannes Surono Hadiwiyono, Safar Suryanto, Simon Petrus Sulaeman and Norbertus Rohayan, were executed nearly 25 years after the coup, a clear sign that the Suharto regime still fears the resurgence of the Indonesian proletariat and poor peasantry.
So America had an alligator for an allie to destroy the
COMMIES-RUSKIES-LEFISTS block
SO!!!!! voletti the USA was not doing its home work concernig the greater war which has been going om for more than 1000 years
Until September 11, 2001, there wasn't much known about the Muslim Religion by the American people. We, here in the United States, believed that the Muslim's were just another mid-eastern religion, something like Buddhism, Hinduism, etc. We have all heard about Muhammad, and the fact that the Muslim's believed in covering their women, and lived as though they were in the 12th century. We have all heard stories of harems, eunuchs, oil, and lots of sand. We have also heard about female mutilation, both in the East and in Africa. The Muslim religion was claimed to be of GOD, and supposedly believed in basic fundamentalism. Music and fun were not allowed. Prayer to Muhammad and Allah to be the most important. But do you know the REAL STORY about the Muslim religion?
That story can be told with one word
FEAR

I’ll have a ham and mushroom pizza, heavy on the ham and hold the C-4

I have really enjoyed the articles the last few days, especially Hugh's and Ibn Warraq's "How to Debate a Muslim"

keep up the good work guys.

No Shiva: We don't have to fear them, they should fear us.

Islam is Terror, their war on us is based on lies and deception, and again: it's all in the Qu'ran!

Educating our people is paramount to win the cause, pressure will trigger a counter-reaction and we are on the way...!

Put Clinton in the Hague and release Milosevitch!

Who is accusing him now? Mladic and Karadjic are still sheltered by the Serbs, perhaps rightly so. Did they commit the atrocities or did they react to the Muzzies taking over?

Letting Milosevitch off would send a signal to the Muzzies...

Slobo is not a good ally guys. The enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend. In supporting Slobo, you fail to make any distinction between criminal war and just war. You can do better.
