COPENHAGEN, Dec 5 (AFP) - A group of Muslims has reported a Danish broadcaster to the police for repeatedly airing a controversial film about Muslim oppression of women, Danish media reported on Sunday.Some 20 Muslims are pressing charges against Danish public broadcaster Danmarks Radio (DR) for airing recently murdered Dutch filmmaker Theo van Gogh`s film "Submission" in its entirety, as well as for repeatedly showing clips from the film in newscasts.
"My clients feel deeply offended," Laue Traberg Smidt, the lawyer representing the group, told DR on Sunday, adding that both Muslim clerics and members of the general public were among his clients.
"They have all come to me independently of each other because they feel that Danmarks Radio has gone too far, and that it is ignoring that the film is seen as an extraordinarily serious and manipulative insult against their religion," he added.

each of these cases is terribly important coz the decisions courts make in such cases have precedent setting effect. Each such decision that goes against freedom (of speech/expression/ideas) is a body blow to our cause and the cause of truth in general.

These clients feel "offended" that the truth is being shone on their cult. Revealing the ugly truth is an "insult", they cry. The audacity these people; do they really think that they can decide what we should see or hear in the west? Unbelievable. Every time there's something they don't like they complain like hell but if we complain about their religion we're racist. Recently they even had the nerve to use a megaphone to announce their call to prayer in a small Dutch predominantly christian town and when the residents complained they said that they needed to respect their religion. Funny how they talk about how we need to respect them but have no respect whatsoever for anyone who’s not muslim. Anyone who's spent any time in an islamic country should know what a simply horrible cacophony the prayer calls are by the way. Try sleeping between four or five mosques that haven't synchronised their watches, sing different prayer versions, go on for half an hour or more and that in the middle of the night. It's even worse during the month of ramadan. When I was living in Indonesia muslims would also construct mosques in predominantly non-muslim dayak villages in Borneo, forcing the people to listen to that simply awful prayer call day in day out. In many towns muslims also set up road blocks to collect money from cars to build yet more mosques. Any Indonesia has a so-called moderate version of islam. Is this what we have to expect in the west? Why don't people wake up and see that every aspect of this religion is an insult: audibly, visually, intellectually, ethically etc.

Go back to your more highly enlightened civilization, where you can enjoy the fruits of your advanced technology, science and economies, where you are free from oppression, free to enjoy your religion and all the benefits that flow on from an islamic society. In view of the long and bloody history of Islamic conquest, such the actions are to be considered self-defense.
