Ahmed Sattar update. From Newsday, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:
Assistant U.S. Attorney Christopher Morvillo grilled Sattar in Manhattan about his knowledge of the sheik, the Islamic Group and their goals to overthrow the secular Egyptian government. Sattar insisted the Islamic Group sought, "not to overthrow the government, but to replace it."
There's a distinction without a difference if I ever saw one.
Morvillo also questioned Sattar about a list of 14 convicted terrorists that was found in his possession that included their inmate numbers and mailing addresses."You have corresponded with people convicted of terrorism-related charges?" Morvillo asked.
"Yes," Sattar replied. "They were sending me letters asking for me to assist ... some were calling me that they are in need of money and, as a point of the charity for many Muslims, especially during Ramadan, I used to send them money. Yes, they are criminals, but they are also human beings."
Morvillo asked Sattar if he knew Yousef, and Sattar replied, "I never met Ramzi Yousef ... I never spoke to him."
"Wasn't it true you had some letters from him?" Morvillo asked.
"Yes, I had a letter," Sattar said, explaining that he had published a Muslim newspaper and that after he stopped publishing it, Yousef "sent me a letter asking me why we stopped sending it to him. That was my only contact with him ... "
Sattar also attempted a bit of taqiyya, but failed:
Morvillo asked Sattar if "jihad" to Abdel-Rahman meant "jihad by the sword." Sattar insisted "jihad" was a struggle in one's heart, adding, "it could mean by hand, by intention and the act of opposing something."Morvillo showed him one of the sheik's sermons found among Sattar's possessions in which the sheik declares, "If God ... say do a jihad, it means do it with the sword, with the cannon, with the grenade and with the missile; this is jihad."
Sattar conceded, "Right here in this sermon ... he is saying that, yes."
Morning folks!
Any hope cases like these one teeny-weeny bit of the attention say drivel like a Scott Pterson or Kobe Bryant gets....You'd think people'd have more at stakein trials like this one....
Maybe someday 'jihadwatch tv' will broadcast such important trials right into the living rooms of a growing niche of an interested audience (last count was 50%+!)....
Its often said about Murdoch's Foxnews that he exploited a niche amounting to some 50% of the US population that no rival before him had managed to locate!
'Yes they are criminals, but they are also human beings'... In any case: Better behind bars!
Therfore:
Deport them wherever you find them, shut down their mosques and harrass the Imams. Make it IMPOSSIBLE for them to commit their crime, sabotage and conpiracy to terrorize and destroy us.
Shalom!
I am amazed about one thing.
These guys always say how they are ready to give up their life for the "cause" and they normally do.
However, it's amazing how they "sing" if they are captured. One would think that they would stay "mum" given that they were on a one way maryter journey.
Why would they make life difficult for their partners, I just don't get it!
Ofcourse it may be down to the (illegal?) interrogation techniques or truth drugs used by US.
Any idea or links on what your people use?
Naseem,
We used advanced torture techniques, like "asking questions," and advanced drugs like "caffeine."
You seem to lack to knowledge that like most common criminals, Jihadis (the street-level practitioners, not the planners) are of below average to average intelligence, and are easy to ensnare in their own words by intelligent law enforcement personnel.
Unlike police in authoritarian Islamic countries, American police are strictly forbidden from using torture and drugs to force a confession.
Such a strange concept, isn't it?
I'll be releasing a series of articles on Islam on my site in the next few weeks. Perhaps you should drop by and learn something about your own religion, and why it is not compatible with the modern world.
And Naseem, be sure to read this post, sure to make any Muslim thrilled.
I just love this time of the year...
CY says "We used advanced torture techniques, like "asking questions," and advanced drugs like "caffeine."
ROFLOL!!!!
Yes, like several Iraqi prisionsers in that Iraqi jail died/got beaten up "by talking too much" or "drinking too much coffee".
Do you honestly expect me to believe such rubbish...more to the point "why do you actually believe such rubbish"?
When you capture a prisioner... laws are there to be broken, anything else is simply there for your consumption....which you obviously lapup.
Naseem,
You obviously know nothing of the differences between Islamic police forces and American police forces. But then, how could you understand the intricacies of policework in your part of the world, and still be alive and posting here?
You would have ended up in a shallow mass grave like the five hundred poor souls uncovered just yesterday. Such is "justice" under Islam, eh, Naseem?
I know this is a huge concept for you to swallow, but in America, prisoner abuse is the exception, not the rule. The fact that abuse is so rare is what makes it newsworthy when it does occur.
Do you ever here about prisoner abuse in Yemen, or Saudi Arabia, or Eygpt, or Iran? Of course not. It is expected, and is no more of note than saying sand is in the desert.
American law enforcement is much more civilized and effective than that of Islamic countries, and therefore it is newsworthy when these rare instances of abuse arise.
Naseem,
What do you expect, these terrorist freaks are just cowards. Of course they're going to sing to get free.
I suppose you're going to try to convince me they're courageous now because they're seemingly not afraid to die....don't bother. All that proves to me is that these dirt wads have zilch respect for human life, their own lives included. Is that brave???? I think not....
It's also because most of their lives are so pathetically sad, that these servile nobodies can't wait to get to the next life, therefor there is no courage in doing this insane act, because, muslims especially, believe that upon dying they are instantly transported to paradise, where lots of sex and booze is on offer for an eternity..... is that brave??? No (well they always say suicide is a cowards way out don't they???).
Another way of looking at it is that suicide bombers, blow themselves up amongst unsuspecting people. Now whether these unsuspecting people are armed US marines, or innocent little Israeli children who just want to have fun , makes no difference to me. The fact of the matter is these homocide bombers have walked amongst people who are unprepared, who don't have a chance to defend themselves; and detenate their worthless hides. Now that Naseem is the single most cowardly act of all.
So what was that you were saying .... oh thats it "you'd think they'd stay mum as they're on a trip to 'matyrdom'."
Well actually no Naseem, none of us are a bit surprised that captured muslims sing like a bird (a chicken to be exact).
OT, and perhaps better served on Dhimmi Watch, but:
Would anyone mind if each morning (that I am about), I posted links to all the reports on leftist Academia? The list is getting quite large, and I don't think Campus Watch is looking at quite as many as I've been seeing (however if someone from Campus Watch is reading here, please feel free to correct me!)
Such as the following kj liberal:

Tariq Ramadan gives up his position at Notre Dame and forgoes moving to the US.

Well the link did not work, but the story is at the FNC site.

Try Try again
It works, Carolyn, and Hallelujiah! One down, several thousand to go. But a Very long way until the ratio of liberal to conservative on campus is closer to 50:50. Then they will be forced to debate ideas, not denigrate, demonize and destroy conservatives. Lets just hope the supporters of islamic terrorism are the very first to go.
OT:
I just wanted to take a moment and welcome all the new members to the e-mail sign up.
And to the members that have been with it for a while, thank you for all the information that you pass along and your helpfulness.
Many have asked how they can contribute. On the main page for the site is an area to contribute. It's Amazon-paypal.
Just go there and click onto it and it will take you to a secure site.
Some have asked how the money is spent.
The money helps fund the site, also, pays for travel expenses for Robert to be able to appear on various news programs. He doesn't get paid for those.
Also, Robert has been kind enough to send copies of his books to those overseas that can't get the books or the money to buy them.
$24.99 here is the same as a $1,000.00 in some countries.
Everything that is donated, goes to support the work of Robert, Hugh and the site and is much appreciated.

I love the way Muslims twist a phrase to avoid any blame for their violece,I guess the 9/11
slaughter was because the WTC was built right in the path of the planes, the beheadings are from the victim attacking the knife with their throat,
the abused females under Sharia law really caused the harm because they used their back to attack the whip, they punch their husbands in the fist with their face, and Theo Van Gogh attacked the Jihadist by using his chest and neck to stop the knife attack.
