A top PA official has reiterated the end-goal of the creation of a Palestinian state alongside Israel: a Palestinian state instead of Israel.In a seeming re-affirmation of the PLO's 1974 "destroy Israel" program, commonly known as the Phased Plan, Fatah co-founder Farouk Kadumi termed the struggle for a two-state solution just a “stage” on the road to “only one [state].”
Kadumi spoke on Nov. 29th with Iran’s Al-Aram television station. When the interviewer asked Kadumi, “What is the future of Palestine?” the PLO leader answered: “At this stage there will be two states. Many years from now there will be only one.”
Asked why he has not softened his stance against Israel’s existence, Kadumi replied, "Our enemy always says, 'This is Judea and Samaria' ... They haven't changed their discourse. If they change theirs, we will change ours, and if not, we will keep saying that armed resistance is the way to Palestine."
He expressed confidence in the Arabs' ultimate victory, saying, “[There are] 300 million Arabs, while Israel has only the sea behind it.”
Correction, there are currently 300 million Arabs.

Voletti, I would love to believe you are right about broad support lining up behind Israel, but as a Canadian Jew, I rather doubt it. The Palestinian Nakba Industry has been very successful at casting Israel as the greatest evil in the world.
Maybe the decimation of the region's Christian population may awaken some Western Europeans to what the warring has really been about all these years -- not so much the displacement of an indigineous population (that didn't really exist) but opposition to an increased non-Muslim population and a genuine democracy to boot, with its inherent threat of making the region's autocrats and despots look as vile as they are.

Remember, according to shari'a, there can never be peace, only a temporary ceasefire, between the dar al-Islam and the dar al-Harb - little wonder the "two states" is referred to as a temporary "solution" - in fact, it is not a solution at all.
Imagine having a murderer camping out in your backyard, he is cunning enough to get the rest of the block to feel that YOU are the one responsible for his misery having to live outside in your yard while you sit in the comfort of your home, cunning enough to get the neighborhood to feel sorry for him, to feel that he actually has a right to be there, even gets the neighbors to start negociating with you so that he may have your yard as his own (perhaps his ancestors passed over this plot of land 200 years ago and he feels it is his right to be there), now that he has the sympathy of your neighbors (even though he has been trying to kill you since he has been there) he is now making it clear that it is YOUR house he wants, not just a plot of your land....this is how it has to be for Isreal, I find it absurd that they have to share their land with an uncivilized band of murderous thugs simply because the rest of the world is buying into a fictional people and their "rights" Its amazing that statements like Farouk Kadumi's dont get more attention in the MSM
Well, one weapon in the PLA's arsenal is the "Palestinians" status as a put-upon "indigenous" people (never mind that the Ottomans dumped lots of displaced Muslims from the Caucasus, Balkans, and North Africa in that space, too). It works every time with the guilt-ridden liberals of North America. Next, these same guilt-ridden liberals are going to politiely ask their Islamofascist friends to chop them up and send them back piecemeal top the various European countries from which their ancestors came--ending with a "Do remember to be nice to our Indians".
That, I fear, is how our lands will be rid of the problem of guilt-ridden liberals--who never notice that the Islamic world doesn't seem to have too many of that species.
