Turkish jihad leader Kaplan: My Defence is Jihad

Metin Kaplan update. From The Turkish Weekly:

Metin Kaplan, who was arrested in Istanbul after being extradited by Germany, is being tried on grounds of attempting to establish a religious law state by destroying the constitution,- supported jihad in his first testimony which he used words of Galileo, Socrates, Mehmet Akif Ersoy and verses of Koran.

Kaplan said:

“when I say jihad, war must not be remembered. It may be in words. Jihad may also be done with publications. The defence we are doing right now is a way of jihad.”...

Kaplan who denied that he described Turkey as the place of war, said: “Turkey is the place of Islam, it is not true that I ordered attacks in several places in Turkey.”

I can see why people might have confused the words "islam" and "war".... the two are often used in the same sentence these days.

The reasoning of the man in this article is the exact same logic (or lack of it) being used by muslims worldwide to justify their actions, why is it so hard for people to see???
It's okay for muyslims to kill as many people as they want, okay for them to hi-jack planes, blow buildings up, hold kids hostage and murder them, commit genocide on non-muslims.... practically any inhumane act imagineable is perfectly alright, as long as it's done by a muslim fulfilling his/her jihad....

Great I feel a hell of a lot better knowing that, fuck it.... I'll let a muslim kill me now I know they're doing it for purely religious reasons.... I think we all should (sarcasm off-- although this is the apparent logic of the left).

War is deception according to the prophet. To lie, to cheat, to murder etc. is all perfectly OK. What's this all about anyway?

Well, I have a jihad also. Against ideologies promoting ignorance, hatred, violence. So jihad against jihad (how does one say this in Arabic?)is also my defense.

Geoff

We have a jihad against jihad and against islam, we don´t have to kill because we have the reason, but we have to have continue proselitism

These jihadi jingle-balls are gonna jingle right through x'mas season it seems like.

Well folks, don't let it spoil your party though!
Merry x'mas 'tya'll!

"When I say jihad, war must not be remembered."

Indeed. We wouldn't want the Turkish gendarmes thinking of that while their considering attaching your "sensitive parts" to an electo-shock device.
"No marks, no torture!"
