Information project update:

DC Watson is putting together an article on Women's rights and abuses in Islam. This will go to the various women's rights groups.

EPG is putting together a letter we can send to Congress on the new immigration vote. Thanks to Suzi for getting all that together.

Rublev now has all the information on Islam in our schools + a list of college professors that have supported the terrorist groups and called for the destruction of Isreal. That will go to the Secretary of Education and directly to each of our local school boards.
Thanks to Goldie for researching all of that.

Mike is working on sveral things. 1. information on CAIR and the lawsuits they've filed. 2. issues of religious freedom under Islam. He has compiled a list of all the national offices for the various faiths that we can send information to. 3. putting tohether a questionaire that we can have everyone fill out that is interested in helping. This will just allow us to see which area each person is interested in working in.

Chuck is looking into various radio and news shows we can get information to and hopefully get Robert on, DC's and Hugh"s articles published.

Tru Brit has pulled together all the laws concerning "Hate speech" in the U.K., so we know what we're looking as far as sending information there.
Here are the links to those sites, so we can look them over:

http://www.homeoffice.gov.uk/comrace/faith/crime/index.html

We still need to get this same information from the Netherlands, Canada and Australia.

Rabbit is getting the site together so we can list messages to each other without using the e-mail list.

Sorry I'm late; I'll be on time tomorrow!

Update:

Cubed and George Mason have kindly offered to put our mission statement together.
Thank you to the both of them.

And rublev offered a great suggestion:
"Your announcement on the conference in N. Carolina (Teaching
Islam
to Undergraduates) gave me an idea. Perhaps we should create a website,
or a
kind of blog to a pre-existing website, to keep track of conferences of
interest to us. I would be great if some of us can be present at
conferences
like this to ask the kinds of pointed questions nobody will ask, or at
least
to report first-hand what goes on from a non-dhimmi point of view."

You should mention a link to the Internet Toolbox for Islam-critics, which is a good place to start for those who want information for free:

http://www.apostatesofislam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=661

Is Hatem Bazian (who is a lecturer, NOT a professor at UC-Berkeley and is actually ON VIDEO calling for intifada against Israel AND the USA) on the professor's list?

Hello everone and good morning as I seem to be running a day behind on the live posts; will rectify asap!

The unilateral effort we are making is very pleasing and inspiring to me fueling my fire, again want to thank EVERYONE and a special Kudo for Miss Susan_b who despite her illness last week hopped right back in with what one can only describe as "one hell'uva a plan" that proves to be an international threat across the Contenants of unspeakable destruction one that challenges us to stand together Nation to Nation to defend the "Unalienable Rights Granted Us From The Host Of The STARRY Skies".

Thanks again every one, looking forward to new forged frienships.
Chuck:)

Hi, everyone,

A First Rough Draft of a Vision and Mission Statement is underway even as I speak. It will be submitted before for consideration before too long. It's purpose is the same as a Vision and Mission statement of any organization, to help keep the focus and to help make choices re: actions. These things can be changed as the goals of the group change. It looks as if a good vision and mission statement can be derived from the ideas that have been published here.

The idea of a brief pamphlet on Islam sounds superb; I have never done anything like that before (e.g. "brief". . .), but I'd like to have a go at it; anyone else who would like to do anything on it is very welcome.

I'm also fascinated with the idea of an introductory piece for young children. Been thinking about it a lot in the past few days. It might not be terribly popular for the general public just yet, but it could be helpful to the parents in our own group and to those just getting a grasp of what's going on. Maybe a pseudonym would be in order. . .

The Resource List looks exceedingly useful, sort of like an "on-line reference library." Could people who've read these write up a few lines as a sort of review that would let those who haven't read them know a little about what's inside? The same would apply to any links (e.g. apostatesofislam); those familiar with them could give a line or two about what we can find on them.

And the idea of our own "shills" in audiences at university lectures that are whitewashing Islam sounds positively inspired! They can ask the "pointed questions" (complete with prepared counter-answers) and maybe reach a student or two in the audience. I can just imagine a quote or two from the Koran as a counter to some dorky claim of Islam as a "religion of peace" sort of nonesense.

LOVE the energy and ideas being generated!

Found you at last. I couldn't make it through the ether last night to post our meeting location, so if that happens to us again, pease leave a messag somewhere here to let me and others know where to go for our next meeting place.

We have some further details of meetingplaces, but for now I'd like to leave it to the disretion of Susan_b to contact you regarding our other matters.

I find that there's a lot of information going on here all at once, so I'd like you to consider that if you and others have a collective, co-ordinated action planned and in the works that you summarize it and put it out for all of us to see how you're doing and how we might learn from you experiences. If you use a bold head and keep it simple we can then do a general summary weekly as an update to track our progress and our problems as they arise. for example, if our subcommittee on schools will write up a synopsis of the week's details we'll know where you stand, if you need help, and if you can help others. It'd make for a quick reference if we have a sheet on "Islam and Schools," for example from which those of us doing leaflets can pluck quotations for an "Islam and Schools" flyer.

Cubed, I have trouble contacting you through 6th column. If you can, would you please get DC to arm wreswtle you to the ground till you come to your senses re Kant? I tend to refer often to Kant, and I can't quite figure out where you went wrong. I've given up on a priori logic, so DC can resort to phsical strength till you see my point of view. Please don't tell me that DC agrees with you. I prefer ignorance. Otherwise, will you contact Susan_b regarding just_linda's site? I'm not sure who is there and who isn't.

I would like some help from you all regarding quotations, roughly five, from categories thus: "Women and Islam"; "Children and Islam"; "Gays and Islam." Also, if you have images, such as prophet's beard has, please forward them so we can build up a bank of quote.s and pic.s to enable us to hit the streets at a momnent's notiuce when occassions arise.

We suddenly have a great deal of activity, and I'd like to ensure that your work isn't lost in the deluge. Let's make sure that our Planned Action is planned, and that our Co-ordinating Committies co-ordinate with others effectively. PACC will work as an umbrella, but it's the sub-committies who will have to keep track of what we do collectively. We're suddenly a corporate entity, and we'll have to work hard to remain in contact effectively.

Yeah, the energy is excellent. I'm happy. this is very good work.

Hi, Son,

Yeah, communication via 6thcolumn is hard, especially since the whole site has recently changed.

Try reaching me through Susan_b, and then we can correspond more easily.

Sort of OT, but this may be the best place to say that I don't like Kant because he is a nihilist, and the philosophical descendant of Plato (I don't like Plato, either) and the philosophical father of all forms of collectivism (communism, fascism, socialism etc.).

If you like Jan Egeland, the socialists of Europe, the American Liberals, the Nazis, Islam, Eurabia, and the Weimar Republic, Kant's your man.

Other than that, I think he's fine. :-)

Just to save time and space, if you would like a good, solid resource on ol' Immanuel, one that contains most of what I don't like about him, get "The Ominous Parallels" by Leonard Peikoff. It has a lot of absolutely crystal-clear material on the guy. If the issue of Kant is really that interesting to you, reading Peikoff's book will save you a lot of time and inform you far better than I can.

I'm always delighted when I see interest in the fundamental ideas that drive cultures in one direction or the other.

Enjoy, and thanks for asking!

Yo, Son,

I got so involved with Kant that I zoned out on the rest of your post!

I'm not familiar with "just_Linda's site," but I'll ask Susan_b about it.

My guess is that an awful lot of people already have Amir Taheri's "The Spirit of Allah," but it is absolutely LOADED with delicious quotes that could be useful. Komeini was something of a latter-day Muhammad in the view of his followers.

OT, but does it strike anyone else that Sistani is doing all he can to look like Komeini? It's almost as if he bought a Komeini Hallowe'en mask.

Hi all,
Just seen a message from one of the other meeting places mentioning the face too face meetings that have been touched upon.
I haven't a hope in hell of getting to anything that isn't within a not too demanding car drive but it crossed my mind, has anyone thought about video conferencing.

To susan_b regarding a pamphlet for those who are totally in the dark...I take it you were unable to open the one I sent. I will try again.

It could serve as a start for a more refined and or expanded pamphlet. The list of possible topics you have passed along was great but it is very hard to include that much info on a pamphlet. It needs to be brief, eyecatching and easily digestable to the common Joe.

Maybe we are looking at a series of pamphlets aimed for the same audience.

Folks,

Probably most of you already know that Robert's new book, "From Mecca to 9/11" will be out soon.

Today's thread about why Ali Dashti and Robert forming are forming a closer relationship than ever makes an incredibly important point. Those Muslims must think we just fell off the turnip truck!

Ali Dashti pointed out,

". . .these people [the Muslims posing as Christians] are following the playbook of the man who taught that "war is deceit." And the attempt to alienate enemies from one another is a time-honored jihadist practice. It was practiced with partcular effectiveness in the run-up to the fall of Constantinople, when various Byzantine factions were all too eager to conclude alliances of convenience with Muslim forces -- alliances that only weakened the overall position of the non-Muslims. But Ali Sina and I are not so willing."

Here is what I posted in response:

"Yea, Ali--and neither are most of the rest of us. From time to time, there are snizzets among readers of JW about beliefs, rituals, etc.

It is terribly important that we not allow the practice of "divide and conquer" weaken the ties that bind the Civilized World. We have allies ranging from Atheists to Zionists. We also have a common goal that must be maintained until Islam is no longer a threat."

These people LOVE to exploit the differences among us! Even if one of us HATES what another of us believes (or doesn't believe), it is CRITICAL to pull together on the single issue--the victory against Islam.

Let's not EVER let these Killbots distract us from our purpose here!

Oops! It was Ali Sina, not Ali Dashti, and it was Robert who made that statement!

Embarrassing.

I'd like you all to join us for an uncluttered conversation at this address:

http://jwunited@blogspot.com.

Maybe I got the @ sign wrong and it's a dot instead. As of noon, Pacific standard time there are 30 posts. Please address yourselves to practical issues of working out details of how we can effectively counter the Islamic jihad. Yes, I went on lecture mode a few times, but I'm expecting a visit from DC to arm wrestle me back to my senses.

I'm going to look up further messages for the day, and I'll return later in the evening. I'd like to get messages at blogspot from Mike so we cam discuss further a variety of issues, and I hope that others among us will join the discussion on practicalities there.

I promise to refrain from opining at the blogspot site. It's meant to be a place where we can meet to exchange information on what we can do practically to forward our work toward our goals. for the editorials and lectures I seem to be so fond on imposing on everyone who crosses my path, I will keep them to robert's main site.

That reminds me of my life story. I was born at an early age....

would it be helpful as and when joining the blog people add their nationality as part of their username so we can easily identify with each other
I must admit I'm finding it hard to keep track because of time zones etc. I keep switching from one place to another to find the latest posts.
The BP blog generates auto emails from each posting which is very useful.

Son,

I've reached the limits of my tech ability by clicking on your link and trying to Google it, with no success.

True Brit, good suggestion re: nationality. It would be very interesting to see just how far around the world interest in this project and related ones will spread. Until I can flag my pseudonym, suffice it to say that I am from the USA.

Susan_b, are we still meeting here?
