BERLIN--Told that she couldn't sit in on religion classes for the Muslim students at Rixdorfer Elementary School, Marion Berning went into the classroom anyway on the pretext of fixing a window. What she found stunned and angered her. The teacher was saying that "women are for the house, for the children. Muslim girls are dropping out of sports classes and field trips, she says, and there are fewer friendships between Muslim and non-Muslim students. Although the Islamic Federation is under observation by the German Office for the Protection of the Constitution, which suspects the group of being an extremist organization, the religion classes continue.In Britain, in the basement day-care center of a church near London's Hyde Park, a Christian group holds a workshop on heckling Muslims at the park's famous Speakers' Corner. Participants then head there for the afternoon debates. One recent Sunday, a spectator denounced an imam as a Muslim extremist, though at the time the imam was decrying violence in the name of Islam. The preacher didn't respond, but someone in the crowd did. "Yes, my friend, I am an extremist," the man said. "And I hope my children are extremists." Some verbal exchanges have escalated into fights, leading the British government, with the backing of the Muslim Council of Britain, to consider new laws against inciting religious hatred that could have the effect of restricting free speech in a place long considered one of the world's great locales for open debate.

By doing their homework, Muslims have figured out how to work their way in, by appealing to the value system, learning which buttons to push, how to lobby the legislature, get the ear of those in power, and so on. We didn't do our homework and have only ourselves to blame for this mess for allowing it to happen.

I don't believe in EVER blaming the victim. We are where we are now due to our own naivete, caused by the fact that our society's ideology is not intrinsically evil, as theirs is. Those legendary hooligans are buffons and highly unpredictable. When I see them on the train I try to move to another car. The fact is they are mostly drunken... well hooligans. The whole planet has just been witness to an event that plainly has demonstrated how dangerous the lack of knowledge and information can actually be. I'm going to support Andrew a bit on his position. In spite of the occurrence of 9-11 I fear still far to few of my countrymen are remotely aware of the Islamic tsunami and the danger it poses to the USA and the rest of the western world.I do not see the task of educating the masses an easy one, but educated they must be or Andrew's opinion of things to come may just become more of a reality than just an opinion.
I found this passage in the Bible the other day. I appreciate that not all JW readers are Christian or of any faith but I found it hopeful. It's from Paul's letter to the Galatians 4:22 about the children of Abraham by Sarah his wife, and also by her servant Hagar the Egyptian. Her descendants are the Arabs. Hence the claim of the “three Abrahamic Faiths”.

I never said that Islam can't be defeated. It just depends on what the definition of "defeat" is. The BEST we can hope for is isolating it in the regions where it currently exists and Westernizing the millions of Moslems already here in Europe and America-- a MONUMENTAL task in the best of circumstances, i.e., assuming an indigenous population willing to DEMAND Moslems and ALL immigrants become Westernized, in the way immigrants to America were FORCED to become Americans at the turn of the century. Nothing less.
To do so requires MULTICULTURISM and DIVERSITY paradigms to shift to the opposite end of the spectrum, something that hasn't given any sign of slowing one iota.
So, as long as America is willingly embracing the importation of Hispanics and Third world Moslems into America, without any consideration that America retain its historic white, Judeo-Christian majority population, America in even its current form will cease to exist as we now recognize it.
The identity of America will likely be Christian but clearly Hispanic and Third world. As more and more Moslems immigrate here, the will of a demoralized former white majority country with a nearly a 50 percent non-white population to have the will to defend the country from a the conniving, relentless Islamic threat is open to debate.
Europe, however may resort to the medieval savagery which runs deep in her veins, either way, the demographic die has been cast and barring a bloody purge, we're looking at the last bastion of white Christian civilization concentrated in Russia and they are far less squeamish about employing violence measure for measure. Japan and China, countries that reject immigration an multiculturism will retain their culture and react with thermonuclear weapons (China for the moment, Japan later as it reacts to the nuclear arms race in the region) to any act of Islamic aggression within their borders. Get the picture?
So I am NOT saying all is lost. But America and Europe without immediate and serious emergency measures to undo all that liberalism has wrought, beginning with immigration then rejecting multiculturism, are destined to be transformed into Third World countries, with millions of Moslems trying to create an Islamic state. Funny how America and Europe's fate are tied even as Europe intentionally sacrificed/attached itself to the Arab orbit of influence in rejection of America.
Sadly, without these elementary measures, one civilization or the other will likely initiate a xenophobic movement that will be bloody in Europe while America seems well on the path to fade into a country with memories of a glorious, albeit short history. Hey, the average British subject is OK with this, losing their empire down to the last British islands so I don't think Prozac is really necessary for me at this point.

I obviously mean if the act is sufficently severe, such as an attack on the Three Gorges Dam in China for example. Japan is re-evaluating its pacifist constituition as North Korea, China and other countries in the region become more nuclear trigger happy and capable.

Every contributor on this page so far is someone I would be happy to work with in an active campaign to eradicate Islam from the whole world. That eradication is my general goal. but I am willing to do my own small part as one man in conjunction with others to do what can reasonalbly be done.

I appreciate the infusion of sorely needed optimism, I know sometimes I can seem fatalistic about things, but anyone who follows this subject closely is on an emotional rollercoaster and had their ups and downs. I do NOT think however that we are FATED to lose in the culture war, the war of civilizations, the war of demographic hegemony, nothing is certain. Consider the recent unforseeable act of Allmighty God to know that tomorrow is not ours to know.
I just don't really know what to make out of the whole ball of wax. There are too many unknowable variables enough to cross a rabbis eyes, yet the one that drives me nuts involves the dhimmis and multiculturists who are championing our enemies cause. When I said we are "DOOMED" above, in that instance I was expressing frustration, not actual surrender, something I will NEVER do, nor condone.

Unfortunately, I got timed out before I could respond to that particular question, and while I was gone, you seem to have recovered your fighting spirit.
I was astonished not at your bad mood, because after all, we all have bad days, but rather at your utter refusal to take the excellent advice not to make some terrorist's day by discharging your discouragement all over the www.
It actually took me longer to understand the harm I might be doing when I was having a very frustrating day and blubbered here. Someone was kind enough to let me know the harm I might do (you know who you are). You did a quick turnaround, and I'm glad, because you have a lot to contribute.
Just remember, we can look past the PC Idiots and the Totally Ignorant among us straight into the future. The time will come when, by one means or another, many of the PC will recognize that their thoughts and actions were just some sort of adolescent game and they'll "get real," and a lot of the ignorant will become aware of the problem. That will be a very bad day indeed for Islam.

One REALLY serious attack (more than the mere 3,000 dead on 9/11) from our deranged Islamic co-earthlings will transform the entire debate.

Sometimes it is helpful to put yourself in the other side's position. What is it the jihadists are up to, what are they fighting and what do they hope to achieve?
In this thread on this very forum a poster linked to a very interesting little article. It was an alarmist article entitled How to Make America an Islamic Nation. The following is a quote from that article, "How many Muslims have been lost to Islam in the last fifty years here? Tens of thousands have been lost. The only reason Islam is still growing here, by large, is because of a steady stream of immigration. But when that dries up, the assimilation will dwindle our community down to nothing. It's like we have a bucket with a hole in the bottom. We keep pouring new immigrants in, but so many are leaking out are lost forever. (And we're hardly making concerted or intelligent efforts at bringing others to the faith.)"
That little quote does more to illuminate what I believe the real struggle is than any other I've read. At its core, I believe jihadism is a civil war in the Moslem world. Jihadists know that the lure of the 21st Century West is the death to their 7th Century vision of the world.
As much as this board can make the Islmamic world seem monolythic, it is not. Consider Saudi Arabia, for decades the conservative core of Islam. Today its streets teem with Religious Policeman who hourly have to beat their population to conform to the Whabbi mold. The Taliban, Iran, anywhere they are ascendant it is the same -- they have to beat and terrorize their populations to hold sway. To hold onto that 7th Century against the encroaching 21st Century.

I don't. An Inmam who stands in a mosque and sings the praises of the shai'ra sooner or later has to deliver those benefits. If all he actually delivers is deepening poverty, increasing random violence, US Marines blowing the brains out of their martyrs, and young punks fresh out of the maddras beating any and all over some minor infraction -- then sooner or later that house of cards comes down.
The 21st Century will prevail. Laser guided bombs trump spiders conjured up by Allah each and every time. Ghettos, whether in London, Paris or Baghdad are only a problem until the tanks role in. Tribal honor is no match for an assembly line.
The trick is to get out of this killing as few people as possible. That's the issue in doubt -- not which side wins, but how many people get killed over this lunacy.
There are reports that tens of thousands of Iranians have crossed the boarder into Iraq. Almost always this is pictured as a great wave of fighters come to join the fray. It has crossed my mind that perhaps it is masses of people getting away from the Religious Policeman and their beatings. Hope for the best my friend. An inman once boasted that Moslems love death while we love life. Well, given a choice, we'll see about that...

You are 100% correct. Chemical, nuclear and bioplogical weapons are taboo. The jihadists are stupid enough to use them. When that line is crossed the gloves are going to come off and their is going to be no sympathy for the devestation that the retaliation will bring.
There are pictures on the web of the Kurds killed in the chemical attacks. They are horrific. When those pictures are of Americans, or British, or French, or Dutch, or Aussies, or Japanese, or Russians, or whoever -- the reaction is going to be dramatic and the whole complexion of the struggle will change. Some Moslem saying, "we deplore such attacks but... " will draw a much different response.
And do keep in mind, the US is not even on a wartime footing at the moment. Underwear on their head will be the least of their problems if we are ever infuriated enough to actually go to total war.

Your remarks about Iranians flooding into Iraq to possibly escape their religios police, may well be sound. I was talking a year or two ago to an Iranian in messaging session and he was distraught at his country's situation. The terrible oppression. He said to me "you don't know what it's like" He was very upset, he truly felt trapped. So maybe your thoughts are correct and the Iranians may now find it easier to sneak across the border into what they may be hoping will "become" a safer and less oppressive country.

In Australia there seem to be two main issues:
The Victorian religious vilification case we have all seen here, I don’t want to offend any Christians here on this forum, but Australia is not a very religious country. The Aussies, in general, are not keen or used to religion in their politics in the first place. There also does not seem to be much awareness of Dhimmi here either, I am concerned the Aust public will retaliate more at The Family First Party (a new Christian political party who came in last election out of no where) seems to have some connection with the Church in this case, then they will the Islamic Councils.
The second issue is where is our Tidal Wave Aid money going, here again the public are caught up in the emotion of all the suffering and the supposed new loving ties with Indonesia as Oz hands over so much money.
