Joseph Farah at WND asks the right questions about the investigation of the murders of the Coptic family in Jersey City:
I want you to try to imagine how the major media might cover the following story.A Muslim family of four, known for boldly proselytizing the Islamic faith in the shadow of where the World Trade Center stood before Sept. 11, 2001, is bound, gagged and murdered execution-style, throats slit, jewelry left behind.
I don't know about you, but I can almost envision the Page 1 New York Times coverage of this apparent "hate crime." I can almost hear the hand-wringing pundits fretting about this undeserved, unwarranted backlash against innocent Muslims. I am almost certain a week after such an attack there would be calls for new sensitivity in the way Muslims are portrayed in newscasts and entertainment programming. You can be certain the self-appointed Muslim-American and Arab-American spokesmen would be getting maximum face time brining international attention to America's intolerance toward Islam.
Tragically, an attack like this actually took place last week in Jersey City, N.J. – though it wasn't a Muslim family, it was a family of Egyptian Coptic Christians who fled persecution in their homeland for the safety and security and freedom of the USA.
Yet, the media's focus hasn't been the horror of this kind of centuries-old anti-Christian persecution apparently coming to America. Instead, there has been a concerted effort, it seems, to downplay this gruesome slaughter as some kind of anomaly, to search desperately for motives other than religious hatred – in effect, to ignore the kind of oppression that Christians and Jews in the Middle East have been experiencing since Islam became dominant in that part of the world more than 1,300 years ago....
Rush to judgment? No.
But good detective work requires that we don't allow political correctness to lead an investigation. And so should good media work.

This incident has stirred fears of the beginning of takeover of America by jihadis and dhimmis. We need to be able to DO something about this forcefully. Taking this thing further and in line with suggestions made in this forum on past posts, let us all JWers try to accomplish at least some of a short list of tasks:
- contact the Hudson county prosecutor's office
- alert major blogs to these happenings (powerline, lgf, hugh hewitt etc). Provide linkis and contacts to blogs around the world and make this a high profile case to be watched the world over.
- indignantly mail the msm ( yeah, I know, even though it'll hardly help)
- get the word out to people like Drdge and Limbaugh who can spread it further
- bombard the ACLU with questions about their silence on this matter
- anything else you can think of that would add to this list.
It's kind of like "Don't mention the war" in Fawlty Towers isn't it?

Why do we seem afraid to confront the issue or even give it a correct label by ignoring that this is a hate crime or by using the ridiculous euphenism "war on terror"?
Farah gives a fair-minded and appropriate solution that any thinking person, especially for anyone in law enforcement and journalism

I agree, keep spreading the message. I’ve had a positive response to my posts on this matter in various on-line venues. Since you only hear from a small fraction of the readers, it’s hard to know the total effect but every little bit helps.
It’s going to take awhile to wake people up. The taboo against being critical of an ideology in religious form is formidable.
haha. Amazing. At the same time Indian secularist media were showering reports OPINIONATING about how Shankaracharya - a Hindu seer might be guilty of murder while the Supreme Court dismissed the charges. He was arrested on Diwali night - the most joyous and sacred day for Hindus.
Meanwhile, Imam Bukhari of the Jama Masjid of New Delhi has some 6 FIR's lodged against him (criminal reports)...but I dare say that they the authorities have even lay a finger on him.
