Iranian Official Denies Executing Minors, Stonings

Contrary to numerous reports, they're not stoning people or executing minors in Iran after all. It was all just propaganda, you see. From Radio Farda, with thanks to Kemaste:

Speaking in Tehran, judiciary spokesman Jamal Karimi-Rad dismissed such reports as foreign propaganda intended to distort the image of the Islamic republic.

Agence France Presse says that no sentence of stoning has been carried out in Iran for more than a year, apparently under pressure from the European Union, which has made human rights a part of its ongoing effort to develop closer trade relations with Iran.

Human rights groups say that while Iran is apparently observing a moratorium on stoning people to death, there are cases of minors being executed in the country.

Western experts say some of the youth are being held in prison until they are 18 to be excuted after their birthday.

Happy Birthday, BANG!

(Saves money on cake and candles, fer sure.)

Consider whatever those Mullahs put out is ALL
PROPAGANDA. To think the Shah was deposed not through being a despot, most Middle Eastern rulers are, but because he introduced Western Infidel Ways. To these nutters, someone drinking alcohol and holding his girlfriend's hand in public has committed crimes worse than Barbaric Sharia Law invented by a Seventh Century Pyschotic
Killer.

Iran is a country that needs a good beating to
teach them some manners. If not the world is in
for a whole lot of hurt. These animals who stone
and hang women and children are near to having
the Big Bad Bomb, this will give them the percieved power that has driven the North Korean
Dictator out of his mind.Clerics with nukes,How do you think thats going to work out for us unclean infidels?BANG goes the neighbourhood.

Well when I followed Amnesty Internationals links and e-mailed the Head of the Iranian Judiciary, the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance (an oxymoron if ever I saw one,fit to rival the phrase London Transport System) about Leyla M I never had the courtesy of an acknowledgement from any of them.

You will remember that we were told about Leyla M on Dhimmiwatch in November. She is the Iranian girl with a mental age of 8 who was sent out to work as a child prostitute by her own mother. She is under sentence of death for morality offences.

If they are denying it, then taqquia notwithstanding, they know they are wrong. But like Stalin and Hitler's henchmen none of them dare admit it to each other.

Hmmm...I guess if that doesn't deceive the west then they will have to think some other b.s. like "We thought they were hobbits or leprechauns when we killed all those kids. They all look alike you know. All those Humanitarian organisations that try to stop us killing the kiddies are really the forces of darkness whereas us serial killing mullahs and judges who approve of kids being executed for just being irritating are righteous"

Amnesty International outraged at reported execution of a 16 year old girl

http://www.amnestyusa.org/countries/iran/document.do?id=80256DD400782B8480256EF9005CC228

"The execution of Ateqeh Rajabi is the tenth execution of a child offender in Iran recorded by Amnesty International since 1990. Amnesty International has urged Iran's judicial authorities to halt further executions of child offenders - people who were under 18 years old at the time of the offence...
...The death sentence was upheld by the Supreme Court, and Ateqeh Rajabi was publicly hanged in the city centre of Neka on 15 August. According to Peyk-e Iran, the lower court judge that issued the original sentence was the person that put the noose around her head as she went to the gallows.
On the same night that she was buried, Ateqeh Rajabi's corpse was reportedly removed from the grave by unknown individuals. The Rajabi family have lodged a complaint and have called for an investigation.
The co-defendant of Ateqeh Rajabi, an unnamed man, was reportedly sentenced to 100 lashes. He was released after this sentence was carried out."

Wow! No stonings for more than a whole year now! What a progressive society! Oh, when will the rest of the world ever catch up?

Oh wait! Let me think. The real world stopped stoning people hundreds of freaking hundreds of years ago you morons! Damn stone-aged creeps!

This kind of thing just makes me want to cry, scream, and laugh all at the same time. Is it just me or do you sometimes wonder ... did something just get lost in the translation just because you have difficulty believing people could be so stupid?

Granny, I do so wish I could agree with you that they "know they are wrong."

Unfortunately, Islam does not have the same moral code as the West does. I know that many of you have heard me nag about this over and over, but maybe Granny hasn't, so please bear with me:

A moral code is a set of values we choose to guide out thinking and behavior. Here in the West, we have chosen "life" as the basic value upon which we construct our moral code. "Life" is our "standard of the good."

Unfortunately, Islam has chosen otherwise. Islam's fundamental value, it's "standard of the good." is the creation of a universal Ummah, or Islamic society.

To that end, anything Islam deems helpful in achieving that fundamental goal is "good." These thoughts and behaviors include death, murder, mayhem, deception, etc. ad nauseam.

So don't tire yourself trying to figure some way that these people will ever see what they are doing as "wrong." Until and unless their entire philosophy, including ethics, changes, we will be at war with them.

They believe that everything they do is "good."

Pardon my quoting rather than linking but this is short article. Here is another "could these people really be this stupid, brainwashed, or whatever?" moments.

From Iran Focus

Tehran, Jan. 10 - Iran’s Friday Prayers Leader for the city of Urumiyeh (northwest Iran) demanded a harsher crackdown on “mal-veiling” in the Islamic republic.

Hojatolislam Gholamreza Hassani speaking to a state-run news agency accused security forces of acting too softly on women who do not fully cover their hair, calling the issue the root of Iran’s social problems.

“Unfortunately the response by security forces to the issue of mal-veiling is not an effective one and more should be done to combat mal-veiling”, Hassani said.

In response to the public’s demand for greater social freedoms Hassani commented, “What is freedom ... When we pray, we give witness to the fact that the Holy Prophet is the servant of God … Now how can we accept that the prophet was a servant, and at the same time you and I (demand freedom)?”

“We need more Imam Khomeinis in our times and I simply say that I approve Imam Khamenei (Iran’s Supreme Leader) … He has never uttered the word freedom”, Hassani added, when he was questioned about the way in which the clerical state was being run.

“Once upon a time our youths went to the battlefields and were martyred; at that time the youths believed in us. But now not even ten percent of the youths would be prepared to take part if a war was to break out”, Hassani stated when asked about the level of public support the government enjoyed at present.

In his interview Hassani also blasted the divorce rate in Iran saying that the Islamic Republic believed that out of every one hundred marriages only one should lead to a divorce compared to the present rate of six divorces out of every ten marriages.

I really feel for people living under this kind of insanity. Revolt damn you! Throw these morons out!

I have read your previous posts with interest. I read JW for some time before actually posting.
If anything my view is actually worse. To know one is wrong yet to continue to do wrong, from arrogance, cowardice or sheer delight in the malice is truely evil.
But don't worry I am not wasting my time hopeing to change their beliefs when it is more practical and effective to limit their sphere of influence.

OT:
"Iran Nearing Nuclear Capability" By David Rudge

http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=16602

"Iran is in advanced stages of trying to attain enriched uranium for use in atomic weapons, according to the head of army intelligence Maj.-Gen. Aharon Ze'evi (Farkash).
If it is not stopped, Iran will be capable of producing its own enriched uranium within six months, Ze'evi told an audience at the University of Haifa on Tuesday night.
He maintained that with this capability, Iran would be able to produce its first nuclear bomb by 2008 to 10 - an event that would likely cause a domino effect in countries in the Middle East."

Three cheers, Granny--way to go! I couldn't agree with you more about your conclusion that to know you are wrong and to continue anyway, is truly evil. Absolutely! The whole issue of morality is an issue of CHOICE! That's why animals can't be accused of immorality; they cannot make choices. They can't select a basic value and then decide that that value will guide their thinking and behavior.

WE can, and ISLAM can.

And glad to hear that you support the idea that we must limit (and eventually, in my opinion, eliminate) their sphere of influence.

fg posts: "Hojatolislam Gholamreza Hassani speaking to a state-run news agency accused security forces of acting too softly on women who do not fully cover their hair, calling the issue the root of Iran’s social problems."

Boy oh boy, they can sure get down to basics! Next thing you know, they'll blame the tsunami on the Infidel and on Muslims who don't practice Islam with enough devotion!

The insanity of these people goes beyond. To blame the Jews and the Western world for everything. Beat the people into submission and kill those who will not submit to a dictatorship of blind faith. This is the face of true evil. These people must be dealt with and not on their terms. All is fair in love and war. There are no rules. It is time that honor, respect, and meekness should be taught to those who would endanger the world by cowardice and immorality. The time is now.

To Cubed and Granny Weatherwax,
It seems to me that some wonderful and constructive dialogue is happening here so I do not wish to intrude. Doctrine (truth) does not move men's hearts no matter how wonderful or eloquent it is. What causes a person to make a change in his/her life is the acute realization that certain needs are not being met. These needs could be physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual. It is the reason why people fall in and out of love, change jobs, move to another area, or change their physical appearance for the better. However, change merely for the sake of change is not smart. The right kind of change comes about when one is willing to throw their pride into the dust. If one is either oblivious or too filled with pride to acknowledge these needs, then no real dynamic change can occur. Evil men all have this fatal flaw regardless whether politics, business, or religion is their false god that they serve. This is why these Islamic 'leaders' are acting the way that they are acting. Pride and Ignorance are always a fatal combination.
