Muslim leader warns against Christian evangelism in tsunami disaster zone

I am an Australian, I received this "love letter" from Indonesia almost as soon as our troops and civilian aid workers set foot in Aceh 24 hours after they were wiped off the map.
Indonesia is a muslim country that regards Australias' northern states of Queensland Western Australia and the Northern Territory as a part of Indonesia.
The Indonesians are no different than any other muslim nation you cant trust them as far as you can throw them.

I resent every dollar of the 1 Billion dollars that my Government has donated to these Godless savages.
Personally I hope another Tsunami strikes Indonesia and finishes the rest of them off after all Australians will only have to die fighting the pricks at some time or another IN THE FUTURE.
Please pray for a Tsunami let them eat shit for all I care better them than Australians.

Well, Kevin personally your comments didn't upset me.

What did upset me was this threat from an ungrateful and arrogant p.o.s.

I take no offense at the previous comments. Australians, living much closer to Indonesians, have certainly more cause for hackles with them than we do in America. But as I noted yesterday, all the pipsqueaks with telephone lines (meaning, safely distant from the disaster) have plenty of access to the press to launch these hot air balloons. The millions of Indonesians, Acehnese who don't really want to be Indonesian, who are in desparate need, however, don't have access to the press. So the correct answer to "Dien Syamsuddin, secretary general of the Indonesian Council of Ulemas," is: "Oh, yeah? You and whose army?"

Here's the reality--the masses needing help see lifesaving actions from US angels, who used to be tarred by blowhards such as this one, and nothing but hot air and empty words from the blowhards. And while the masses may wish that the orphans could be reared as muslims, they know that the orphans leaving with the aid groups are going to much better lives than they could ever have in Indonesia. Even the rebels know better than to endanger one of our aid efforts, because what's left of the populace would lynch them for it. As for the Indonesian government, it's utterly powerless in this part of the world.

In support of Psole, my only caveat would be that the US retain leadership of the aid effort, and that all the aid be direct aid, leaving out the NGOs and the corrupt governments. They're impotent already, let this hammer home to the world how truly impotent they are, and if it creates additional pressure from the people to reform these corrupt governments, so much the better.

Harsh words, RSole, but a lot of Aussies agree. Nearly everyone I have spoken to has commented negatively regarding the huge amount of cash given to Indonesia. I would far rather it had gone to the Andamans or Thailand.

I wouldnt go so far as wishing another tsunami strikes them but I certainly resent Australia being lectured by ignorant fanatics like this guy. And I think we may be at war with Indonesia one day, even though Howard seems to believe that relations have improved.

The reason why the idiot imans are so afraid, is that they know the people will compare what they have been told about westerners to the actual thing, which they can now see with their own eyes. The locals may even begin to think that a religion that prizes charity and personal tolerance may just be better than a religion that emphasises bigotry and hatred.

And that would never do, would it? The fanatics would lose their source of cannon fodder, and hence their power. They will do anything rather than see that happen. I fear for all the western aid workers there right now.

I think the whole thing will blow up in our faces. These people dont seem to be capable of gratitude, let alone common humanity. The sheer gall of grabbing as much as they could get their hands on and then telling the donors to leave clearly shows what kind of people they are.

Spot on, Diana. It's fear. They fear their flock seeing, with their own eyes, and figuring out, with their own brains, that us infidels are perhaps not as horrid as they like to make us out to be. Better to keep them in the dark; that's where Islam flourishes. Like a vampire. Sucking the lifeblood out of humanity.

This is an example of how Islam became to be so widespread around the world, why it has so many adherents. People basically had no choice. So for Muslims to go around crowing and cockle-doodling about how Islam has a 5th of the world's population, and is the fastest growing "religion" - pffft! Sorry, you've got absolutely nothing to brag about. It's easy to have that number given the method of Islamic "proselytizing".
