Philippines: Alert out on JI terrorists posing as fishers

"War is deceit," said the Prophet Muhammad (see, for example, Bukhari, vol. 4, book 52, no. 267). Of course, no one in government or law enforcement in the U.S. seems to have any idea that any Muslim here could be taking that statement seriously. But in the Philippines, they're starting to get the idea. From the Manila Times, with thanks to Nicolei:

GENERAL SANTOS CITY: Indonesian and Malaysian members of the militant Jemaah Islamiah are posing as fishermen to enter into the Philippines, Malaysian intelligence said.

In a report sent to the military, the Malaysian intelligence service said the militants were arrested aboard Philippine-registered fishing boats off the coast of Indonesia’s Sumatra Island.

The boat carried registration documents issued by the maritime office in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

“At least two had figured in the Bali incident and bomb attacks in Indonesia last year,” a ranking military official told The Manila Times Tuesday.

Great.

With each passing day, the veil comes off more and more. Soon jihad in all its ugliness will be denied only by the wilfully blind. But even those who'd tightly keep their eyes wide shut in the face of islamofascistic ugliness won't be able to stave off its foul stench...

HEADLINES READ: Authorities netted a haul......

Bravo, it is a small world after all.

A wise gentleman from a land that has had centuries of experience with overt and covert attacks by Muslims, said that the Muslim's own methods used against them have been most successful.

We, of the West, have been taught to be truthful, honest, and fair in our dealings, even in war. We give our word, shake hands, sign treaties, and expect adversaries to abide by these compacts. We sign such papers as the Geneva Conventions and do our utmost to follow them.

We assumer that all human beings are basically similar--that is, the same as we are. Big mistake! Even when we learn that Muslim ethics approve of lying, dissimulation, obfuscation, and deceit--condoned by the codified principles of Islam--we prefer to traipse along the moral high ground.

Back to the gentleman from a land far away who said that the most successful methods to combat Muslims are the same that they use. Okay, he didn't mean jihad or beheadings or maiming. To what he referred were demographics, to which I will get back at another time and place. Using deceit in war has been used by Western powers in warfare. Employing this weapon to a greater, an overwhelming, degree against our present enemy could catch him off guard. It is unexpected. Are we willing to do this? Even when abiding by "fairness" and "correctness" can cause us to lose everything?
