Some American Mosques Carry Extremist Tracts, Study Says

The print edition of the Wall Street Journal today carries on pg. B5 an advance report of a Freedom House study on Saudi mosques in the U.S.

WASHINGTON -- Mosques across the U.S. continue to carry books and pamphlets describing non-Muslims as "infidels" and promoting intolerance against Western society, according to a forthcoming study by Freedom House, a U.S. human-rights group.
Despite vows from American Islamic leaders after Sept. 11, 2001, to proselytize peacefully, New York based Freedom House researchers found 57 documents with incendiary material in more than a dozen mosques and Islamic centers in six states and Washington, D.C., visited over the past year.

The materials "demonstrate the ongoing indoctrination of Muslims in the United States in the hostility and belligerence of Saudi Arabia's hardline Wahhabi sect of Islam," says the report, an advance copy of which was reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.

No one should be surprised by this. The Saudis can't stop teaching such things without compromising their core principles.

And here are findings from the Freedom House press release:

Various Saudi government publications gathered for this study, most of which are in Arabic, assert that it is a religious obligation for Muslims to hate Christians and Jews and warn against imitating, befriending, or helping them in any way, or taking part in their festivities and celebrations;
· The documents promote contempt for the United States because it is ruled by legislated civil law rather than by totalitarian Wahhabi-style Islamic law. They condemn democracy as un-Islamic;

· The documents stress that when Muslims are in the lands of the unbelievers, they must behave as if on a mission behind enemy lines. Either they are there to acquire new knowledge and make money to be later employed in the jihad against the infidels, or they are there to proselytize the infidels until at least some convert to Islam. Any other reason for lingering among the unbelievers in their lands is illegitimate, and unless a Muslim leaves as quickly as possible, he or she is not a true Muslim and so too must be condemned. For example, a document in the collection for the “Immigrant Muslim” bears the words “Greetings from the Cultural Attache in Washington, D.C.” of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia, and is published by the government of Saudi Arabia. In an authoritative religious voice, it gives detailed instructions on how to “hate” the Christian and Jew: Never greet them first. Never congratulate the infidel on his holiday. Never imitate the infidel. Do not become a naturalized citizen of the United States. Do not wear a graduation gown because this imitates the infidel;

· One insidious aspect of the Saudi propaganda examined is its aim to replace traditional and moderate interpretations of Islam with extremist Wahhabism, the officially-established religion of Saudi Arabia. In these documents, other Muslims, especially those who advocate tolerance, are condemned as infidels. The opening fatwa in one Saudi embassy-distributed book, published by the Saudi Air Force, responds to a question about a Muslim preacher in a European mosque who taught that it is not right to condemn Jews and Christians as infidels. The Saudi state cleric’s reply rebukes the Muslim cleric: “He who casts doubts about their infidelity leaves no doubt about his.” Since, under Saudi law, “apostates” from Islam can be sentenced to death, this is an implied death threat against the tolerant Muslim imam, as well as an incitement to vigilante violence;

· Sufi and Shiite Muslims are viciously condemned;

· For a Muslim who fails to uphold the Saudi Wahhabi sect’s sexual mores (i.e. through homosexual activity or heterosexual activity outside of marriage), the edicts published by the Saudi government’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, and found in American mosques advise, “it would be lawful for Muslims to spill his blood and to take his money;”

· Regarding those who convert out of Islam, the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs explicitly asserts, they “should be killed;”

· Saudi textbooks and other publications in the collection, propagate a Nazi-like hatred for Jews, treat the forged Protocols of the Elders of Zion as historical fact, and avow that the Muslim’s duty is to eliminate the state of Israel;

· Regarding women, the Saudi publications instruct that they should be veiled, segregated from men and barred from certain employment and roles;

The report states: “While the government of Saudi Arabia claims to be ‘updating’ or reforming its textbooks and study materials within the Kingdom, its publications propagating an ideology of hatred remain plentiful in some prominent American mosques and Islamic centers, and continue to be a principal resource available to students of Islam within the United States.”

I hope the actual report includes pictures of the material stacked up and readily available within the mosque. Even better: pictures of the mosque's clerics either handing the material out, or preaching the handout's message.

Churchill said Thursday that those in the Trade Center were technocrats whose work was just as deadly and said he would not back down from the topic when he delivers his speech next month.
His essay argued that the Sept. 11 attacks were in retaliation for the Iraqi children who were killed in a 1991 bombing raid and for economic sanctions imposed on Iraq by the United Nations following the Persian Gulf War. He also argued that the hijackers who crashed jumbo jets into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were "combat teams," not terrorists, and the people who were killed inside the Pentagon were "military targets."

Has there been an extensive study done which locates “points of indoctrination” in America? In other words, the first “hooks” that got people like John Walker Islamized?

Islamists will hang around and live near established Mosques, but I gather there are more “proxy prayer rooms” and meeting places hidden in nearby in garages, apartments, etc. –where the indoctrination is going underground, since more people are paying attention to and spying on established Mosques.

Another possible point of indoctrination is in our universities where campus Islamist groups seek out potential candidates who are left-leaning and are disillusioned by the West in general and their own country in particular.

We know there are several Islamist groups and Mosques pretending to be moderate, when they are not moderate at all, by the things they say publicly. But how can one monitor the way these organizations privately aid and abet the indoctrination of American individuals?

Wahhabi Muslims may be commanded not to become naturalized citizens, but to study in the Infidel lands only in order to acquire the tools with which to fight Infidels later one.
This is not quite fair to Muslims. There is another approach, which is to become a “naturalized citizen” of the United States, or of other Infidel countries. Indeed, many Muslims wonder about whether taking an oath of allegiance to an Infidel nation-state is permissible. To answer this question, on Islamic websites various experts offer answers. They do not differ in the slightest from the answer offered below by the Mufti (expert in law) Ebrahim Desai, of Capetown, South Africa.

Here is the question he was asked:

To become a citizen of US one has to take an oath of allegiance. is it ok to take the oath.
The oath of allegiance is as follows: I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God. They also ask on the citizenship form the following questions: If the law requires it, are you willing to bear arms on behalf of US? If the law requires it, are you willing to perform noncombatant service in the US Armed Forces? If the law requires it, are you willing to perform work of national importance under civilian direction? My question is can we answer yes to these questions? is there anything wrong in doing that. what should the answer be: yes or no? could you please kindly give an urgent answer. jazakallah.

Answer 8471 2003-04-25

As Muslims, we are duty bound to follow our lives strictly according to Shari’ah. Whatever Shari’ah allows us to do, we will abide by that and whatever Shari’ah has restricted us from, we will refrain from it. Hence, we are not allowed to obey anybody if it is resulting in the disobedience of the Creator, Allah. Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, ‘There is no obedience for the creation by disobeying the Creator.’ (Mirqaat vol.7 pg.217; Imdadiyyah).

Hence, keeping this in mind if one is forced to sign the above in order to become a citizen or the only way of attaining citizenship is by acknowledging the above, then one may sign it with the intention that Shari’ah and Deen will always be his yardstick and that he will never sacrifice any of the teachings of Deen.

To sum up: Wahhabis are encouraged to go to the West, and conduct Da'wa where possible among Infidels, and also to exploit whatever they manage to learn later on, the better to fight the Infidels. But they should not become "naturalized citizens."

Non-Wahhabis, on the other hand, may become "naturalized citizens" as long as they keep in mind that "if one is forced to sign the above [oath of allegiance] in order to become a citizen or the only way of attaining citizenship is by acknowledging the above [the oath of allegiance] then one may sign it with the intention [i.e. "mental reservation" or "kitman"] that Shariah and Deen [the religion]will always be his yardstick and that he will never sacrifice any of the teachings of Deen."

And to think I was worried there for a minute.

Activists protest Ford's recall of electrical vehicles

Monday, January 17, 2005 - SACRAMENTO - Drivers of two electric-powered Ford Ranger pickup trucks have vowed to remain at a Capitol-area Ford dealer until the Ford Motor Company allows them to buy their leased vehicles rather than turn them in to be scrapped.

The California drivers said their 1999 pickups require no fuel, cost almost nothing to maintain and spare the nation from dependence on foreign oil. But Ford wants the vehicles back, they said, and plans to destroy them.

"I'm really proud of the fact that I drive a vehicle that doesn't have a tailpipe," said Heather Bernifkoff-Raboy, 34, a health care worker from Mariposa County.

Bernifkoff-Raboy, and her husband, David, 33, said they've leased the electric truck for $490 a month from Ford since 2000, using it to haul hay, rock and supplies for their 160-acre Catheys Valley Ranch.

But the Ford Ranger pickup and another leased by William Korthof, 27, of Pomona, are caught in an old skirmish between California regulators, clean air activists and American automakers over the future of cleaner-burning cars.

The Rangers are among about 1,500 leased by Ford during the late 1900s to comply with requirements that 5 percent of cars sold in California by 2001 have zero emissions. But the requirement has since been suspended due to a lawsuit by automakers, and Ford says it's now shifting to hybrid vehicles powered by electricity and gasoline.

With the leases expired, it's calling in the electric pickup trucks.

"I think we've moved on from electric vehicles and our focus is more on hybrids," Ford spokesman Oscar Suris said on Saturday. "Just look at the customer reaction. They're much more popular than the electric vehicles."

The holiday weekend's small protest is part of a series of "Jumpstart Ford" demonstrations at Ford dealers nationally and in Canada where activists call attention to Ford's fuel economy, which they call worst among the nation's carmakers.

Saturday's event featured the San Francisco-based Rainforest Action Network and Global Exchange, along with local groups and an elected director of the city's locally owned utility, the Sacramento Municipal Utility District.

"People love these cars. I'm disappointed that car makers are withdrawing these vehicles," said Peter Keat, who said SMUD uses electric vehicles in its fleet.

Korthof says he leased his electric Ranger pickup for $489 a month to haul supplies for his solar power installation company. He said it's required almost no maintenance.

"This is a good idea," he said. "We need vehicles that don't use any gasoline at all."

Suris said Ford is building 20,000 Escape hybrid sport utility vehicles this year and plans to manufacture five hybrid models within three years.

I always found that bullies get scared when you stand up to them and tell them you have the guts to harm them if they want to harm you.

Saudi govt wants to build 5,000 mosques and madrassas in non-muslim land. Okay, let them build it - but we too should be able to build 5,000 churches, synagogues and temples in Saudi land - what about that?

Each time a mosque is built in west with Saudi money, we want a church to be built in Saudi Arabia.

I have been saying for years that reciprocity is the way to go. Mirror all of the Saudi policies. For example, make visas REALLY hard to get. Pull their passports and give them another document. Call it an "iqama" or something. Impose a moratorium on mosque building in the US. I needed a letter from my local police chief before I could get my Saudi work visa. He happened to be my neighbor in the small town were I lived, but still ...

Of course, the first thing they will tell you is that Saudi Arabia is "special".

Islam creates terrorism. Ever wonder why gangs of Americans don't kill Muslims by the hundreds or thousands? Hint: Islam teaches murder. Christianity and Judaism don't.

Who wrote it? Some right wing think tank? A conservative, evangelical Christian organization? CIA stooges working covertly out of the back of a Mexican bordello? Nope, nope, and nope. A liberal civil liberties organization! Think about it.

Our distinguished leaders allow this outrage to exist right under their noses in Washington, so it is obvious that they do not intend to do anything about it. Our government has the authority to collect this seditious material and demand that it never be distributed again within the United States. The audacity of the slimy Saudis enrages me! All religions but Islam are illegal in Saudi Arabia and yet we allow them to come to our country and openly promulgate hate and jihad?!
How could it be legal for a foreign government to widely distribute hate propaganda against the United States IN THE UNITED STATES?
I guess the ACLU is too busy running around the country intimidating boy scouts and courthouses over those nasty Christian "symbols" that will "offend" someone if they are not immediately removed, to tackle a real threat.
Only a very small percentage of our oil comes from Saudi Arabia. Why do we put up with this crap?!
I'm going to contact the Thomas Moore Law Center since I can't get any explanations from my elected representatives in Washington. If nothing else, maybe someone will explain to me why the filthy Saudi Wahabis are permitted to openly spread hate propaganda and encourage sedition and jihad in America. There is a clear distinction between free speech and blatant anti-American subversion.

as long as we're still reliant on oil from the Middle East we could always be subjected to blackmail from these animals. It does help to look for new energies and to be energy efficient. That is some lesson we in Europe have learned over the years and I advocate it.

Since 9/11, I've proposed that we use a system of detente against the jihadist Muslims. It is simple and similar to how we handled the Soviet Union. We make it know that if we are attacked again in the manner of 9/11, we will nuke the holy site of Mecca. No Mecca, they don't get to go to 'heaven'.

Or, on a smaller scale, all convicted terrorists will be shot with a bullet dipped in pig fat and their bodies buried in the carcass of a pig. Then they don't go to 'heaven' either.

Yeah, I know. We won't do any of that, but we have to use their barbarian religion against them somehow or it will never end.......

Ironic that this prof. has the name of Churchill.

Destructive that he is teaching anything with his take on the world. This guy is poison.

If the university has to pay him because of tenure, now there is an ideal that is being abused, pay him, but do not let him teach anything, do not let him on university property.

The Freedom House study is welcome - now let's see some response from our politicos....ha ha ha.

For anyone that wishes to e-mail the defendants at CAIR, please remember, submit no threats to kick their weak hams, or profanity.

Although these rats criticize the United States and insult U.S citizens as they hide behind their discount cult, they also provoke people into rage, and then run like cockroaches to the authorities for protection. It's known and described best as cowardice.

Their day is coming soon, and they're definately not worth going to jail over. Not one damn one of these sons of whores is worth your freedom.

Maybe Secular Humanism is the answer...

Now, lets rewrite this message for our Saudi friends:

Secularism will return to Middle East, especially Saudi Arabia. We want an army of Scientists and teachers who will present Humanism in Arabic and in all dialect. Middle East will see that it suffers from jihadism and hatred towards fellow human beings, and it will seek a way out, will seek a lifeboat. It will seek no life-saver but the loving message of Humanism.

What am I missing here?

For example, a document in the collection for the “Immigrant Muslim” bears the words “Greetings from the Cultural Attache in Washington, D.C.” of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia, and is published by the government of Saudi Arabia. In an authoritative religious voice, it gives detailed instructions on how to “hate” the Christian and Jew...Do not become a naturalized citizen of the United States...

Where on earth is our precious 'Homeland Security' ?

You guys in the states have it to change now ,we in the uk have been dealing with this for thirty years and the results are bad.SUADI ARABIA biult all these mosques here twenty four years ago ,they paid every bill for twenty years,their plan was to put deep roots into society through the mosque ,ie muslim schools charities,polical pressure groups,hospitals,and workers all the time taking over legitamite organisations ,ie student bodies ,protest groups. We have groups working under the giuse of culture teaching hatred to the children in these schools so much so that the school inspecter planing to close some of them down . There are leaflets in the mosques encourging hated towards me as a chritian and our selected goverment and encouraging men to go to jihad in the world also riasing funds for questionable causes, i am carefull to choose my words because thier legal bills are also paid for. I wish the people here would wake up to this hated espoused from these people but i think it is to late for the uk .Once agian it will be down to usa to show the world that it takes courage to stand up to evil in its many forms please god bless america
