UK: Mohammed enters top boys' names

yaay...the same is true for the district of Brussels ...in the past decade or so.

Well I didnt fall for popularity. I chose not to name my sons after a murderer and rapist and went with the Hebrew names Adam (red earth) and David (beloved king)....and I think they will be better off, hard enough being a kid without having to bear the name of sick child rapist.

We are f*cking doomed if this keeps up. The few remaining Westerners left will be sitting in our fenced compounds protected by robots (as there will be too few people to do that job)fending off attacks from Jihadists determined to finish us off. We have got to start having more children. Governments will have to start being more proactive and encouraging people to have children or we will literally disappear.

Must be confusing for teachers in a classroom of 30 kids and 10 of them are named Mohammed. Imagine your office and you call out to Mohammed and six guys turn around. Don't Muslims have an imagination? Or is that haram?

Actually, after learning who Mohammed really was, I find it distasteful to have to say the name. And the fact that Muslims think he's so great that many of them honor him by naming their sons after him, is even more disturbing.

This having more kids thing is a lousy idea. Why not just send all the mohammeds back to the deserts from which they or their parents originally came? Even countries like Djibouti can have mass repatriations of unwanted immigrants so why can’t we in the west?

It really does boil down to the demographic issue, doesn't it?

Personally, I feel that the European governments will retrograde back to similar Hitlerian nationalistic views once they realize that they are being overwhelmed.

There's plenty of European countries without any colonial history to mention, i.e. Sweden, Switzerland, Luxemburg that are swarming with muslims now. The major group of muslim immigrants in Holland hail from Morocco and Turkey, not exactly former colonies. Belgium's one colony, the Congo, also isn't exactly what one would call a muslim nation. Europe is now filled and filling up with muslims because (1) they tried to emulate the American laissez faire immigration policy but instead of a Mexico at their southern borders they had a muslim north Africa, (2) in their idealism they believed that every refugee actually was a refugee and would be grateful for being granted asylum in Europe, (3) they had a welfare state ripe for the plucking by muslims who were even paid child welfare to support their burgeoning reproductive output, (4) any political party that questioned the immigration policy was immediately deemed fascist, isolated, sidelined and demonised. Most of the muslims in Holland were also only invited in as temporary labourers and were expected to return back home once their work was finished. Unfortunately they just stayed, had their wives and kids come over and have been on the dole ever since. It was in fact a political decision by the then governing social democrats under the then prime minister den Uyl who allowed the immigrant workers to stay and bring their families over. So you see it has nothing to do with our colonial history, just with some political morons from the 70’s like den Uyl, who’ve created this muslim hell in Europe thanks to the naïveté and stupidity of their political ideals. Hmm and here I am having spent most of my life thinking a bidet was primarily for female use, in fact I’m pretty sure it is for female use. Chapeau to the French for being so considerate.

The point I was trying to make concurs with your assessment of European dichotomy.

An accomodation, possibly an induced guilt towards the non-colonials which definitely supported the powers of the time, to re-compense the "unfortunates" of the colonial period.

The Arabs and Muslims certainly see this point of view.

Europe is mistakenly reaping what it perceives to have sown. Political correctness dictates that formerly and still superior Europe "pay back" for its perceived crimes.

Believe it or not, the adherents of restoring the Islamic Golden Age do not feel one speck of political correctness to achieve their agenda.

OT: speaking of Canada, our local grocery stores have all carried halal meats for ages. Now, one of the big chains is carrying *only* halal meat and not any other kind of beef. They still sell pork, but it is in a separate case far from the other meats. There are many halal frozen foods- pizzas, TV dinners, etc. - and it's gotten so that I don't even notice this any more. I wonder, is it like this where the rest of you live?

OT: speaking of Canada, our local grocery stores have all carried halal meats for ages. Now, one of the big chains is carrying *only* halal meat and not any other kind of beef. They still sell pork, but it is in a separate case far from the other meats. There are many halal frozen foods- pizzas, TV dinners, etc. - and it's gotten so that I don't even notice this any more. I wonder, is it like this where the rest of you live?

Libbysmom, I see a few Kosher products in the supermarkets here, but I've never seen any halal stuff and I hope I never do! I like Kosher hotdogs; they're not full of mystery meat and other assorted detritus.
I live in the southeast USA. We have a few muslims, not too many. There are quite a few in Atlanta, Palestinians. I can't imagine why they aren't in Palestine, helping out with the intifada. I'm sure they're here for a reason, on a mission. Fundraising probably, and who knows what else.

A DOG CALLED MOHAMED

I found this in a book I was reading, written back in 1958 by Alexander Campbell (THE HEART OF INDIA). I posted it some time ago on a small JW story on India - but I couldn't resist putting it in here (for reasons too obvious to mention). I hope you find it as amusing as I did.

"In Lucknow we have entered the realm of lunatic fantasy. I found Lucknow in a state of public uproar. Past the long dead nawabs' florid tombs; past the "European-style" castle, complete with turrets, battlements, moat, and drawbridges, and now used as a girls' high school; past the railroad station, with its fantastic fluted columns, cupolas, and vast parapets; past the Drug Research Institute, housed in a former palace, and with a gilded umbrella suspended over its dome --- through the crowded streets and alleys of Lucknow - there swarmed endless processions of angry demonstrators carrying banners of protest. Public buildings had been stoned; several people had already been killed in street clashes.
The cause of all the hubbub was a lost dog. A Nepalese visitor to Lucknow had brought with him his pet dog, which he led about on a silver chain. One day lie found the dog gone: either it had strayed or, more probably, someone had taken a fancy to the silver chain, and stolen both. The bereft owner advertised his loss in a local newspaper. He described the missing animal, offered a reward, and explained that the dog answered to the name "Mahmud."
Rioting automatically followed. Furious Moslems, of whom there are a great many in Lucknow, surrounded the newspaper office, howling for blood. To pacify the mob, the police arrested the dog's owner. It was in vain that the unfortunate man explained that, in calling his dog "Mahmud," he had intended no affront to the Prophet; "mahmud," he declared, was merely the Nepalese word for "power." But there are a variety of ways of spelling the Prophet's name. "Mahomet" is one; "Mohammed" is another, and "Mahmud" is a third. To prevent the dog's owner from being lynched, the police wisely smuggled him out of the city jail, and secretly sped him back over the Nepal border-without his dog, which remained untraced. When the mobs discovered that their prey had eluded them, their fury increased. There were fresh riots, and more stone-throwing. The police had a busy time. Mulk Sangh's wife, Adi, had urged me to visit the Drug Research Institute. So I made my way cautiously through the hot turbulent streets to the Drug Research Institute. The demonstrators over the dog Mahmud were still taking out processions with banners and flags, but neither the Moslems, who were demonstrating, nor the Hindus, who feared that the Moslems might start more communal riots, were interested in a white foreigner. I reached the Institute without incident, and a polite young man in a white coat, with a science degree, showed me round. ..... In the roadway outside the Drug Research Institute a large crowd was being fiercely harangued by a snarling little man in a red fez. He employed all the practiced venom of the professional agitator, and he was putting the blame for the dog on the Congress Party government of Uttar Pradesh. The Moslems who were listening to him cheered lustily."

I have not seen any "Halal" meat shops anywhere around these parts, or any stores carrying anything labeled as such, nor pork separated from beef in the meat sections. Mind you, i don't see any blood cult followers around here either, the only ones with turbans here are Hindu's and Siehks, but they are ok people for the most part. If the topic in a taxi turns to muslims, they are quick to tell you how much they hate them.
Their are a couple kosher meat shops in the big city, any muslims would probably get their meat from them, or they don't bother to follow the dietary rules Muhammad invented for them. They are basicly the same as Jewish dietary rules anyway, although Muhammad, being the Jew hater he was, made even looking at a pig crime enough to commit suicide, and double washing of veggies mandatory, just to outdo the Jewish customs.

What part of Canada are you from, if you don't mind me asking? I wasn't aware of this, but perhaps I just hadn't noticed.

The one thing that Canada has going for it as opposed to Europe, is that we have a heck of alot more immigrants from other countries that are not Muslim. This will hopefully blunt the Islamic influence here. We have far more Asians from countires like Korea, China etc. than from the Islamic countries. Not to mention we are currently getting a very large iflux of new immigrants from Eastern Europe (which I am thankful about given my heritage). 500,000 or so Muslims is alot, but it's looking like fewer of them are coming here since 9-11. (A friend of mine who is Spanish just got his citizenship and I attended the ceremony, there were barely any people from the middle east at the ceremony, in fact out of 200 people, there may only have been 5)

As for England - there are entire towns, like Leicester, Bradford, etc. that are more Muslim now than anything else.

If one includes the various spellings on the name mohammed (i.e. muhammed) the name actually comes the FITH most popular!

The mainstream media doesn't want to worry us too much, doesn't want to make it seem like Muslim migration is completely out of control, so they only talk about one spelling of the name. As you say, once you add in all the various ways of spelling, it's 6th, not 20th. In Canada Muhammed became a very popular name for dogs when Muslims demanded that tenants in a apartment building be banned from owning then because it was offensive to Islam and if touched
