I read the police said that even though it was a criminal offence, they would only arrest people if they were caught in the act, which gives me the impression that they have a benign attitude to what the muslims are doing.

Prisoner's son charged with kidnap

THE son of an Australian al-Qaeda suspect held at Guantanamo Bay was involved in the abduction of a woman who was bound with tape and had her head shaved, a Sydney court heard yesterday.
Ahmed Mandouh Habib, 18, of Birrong -- eldest son of terror suspect Mamdouh Habib -- was charged in connection to the alleged assault at Bankstown earlier this month.
The 18-year-old victim's twin brother, Islam Hassam, and a 15-year-old youth who cannot be named also faced court yesterday over the incident.
The woman, believed to be a Habib family relative, was dragged out of a car parked outside Bankstown TAFE just after midnight on November 5.
The youth held the victim while Hassam wrapped masking tape around her mouth and head, Parramatta Local Court was told.
The youth tied electrical wire around the woman's wrists before he attempted to put her in the car boot.
Habib allegedly intervened and the victim was placed in the back of the car and taken to a garage at her former Greenacre home.
The youth and Hassam cut her waist-length hair to her neck, then shaved her head with electric clippers, police claimed.
She was released after a two-hour ordeal.
The woman moved out of the family home last year after a domestic dispute.
Bidura Children's Court, where the 15-year-old appeared, heard that he told the woman: ``I'm only doing this for your own good -- I love you like a Muslim sister.''
The youth was re manded in custody to Cobham Children's Court tomorrow.
Habib and Hassam were remanded on bail to Burwood Local Court.

I don't like it either, but the question is: will Muslims in the UK and other Western countries live peacefully in a pluralistic society, without acting unilaterally (or violently) against things of which they disapprove?

In the early 80's I attended Montréal's Concordia University (Loyola Campus) In the atrium of our library there was a statue of David that was about three floors tall. In fact the statue was so huge it had been installed first and then the library built around it! There is actually much less nudity on advertising hoardings these days than there was 20 years ago.
But its not just nudity that offends them.
I can't find any links to show you to the local papers that would have reported these incidents but I distinctly remember a complaint from Moslems about a pub with the traditional name of The Three Pigs (or similar) which had been called that for over 100 years. And their similar objection to a local Bingo Hall part of the Mecca leisure chain. If I remember correctly the pub was in the Midlands and this paticular Mecca Bingo (there are lots of them) was in the North West.

I read that Muslims harassed and picketed a chain of baby stores in the UK because they sold clothes and stuffed toys of the Piglet character from Winnie the Pooh. This was a few years ago. I also read that the store caved and removed the Piglet items from stores in Muslim areas.

Spencer posted the results of a poll some months back that echo the results of a poll done before that by Pew Research: Most people who are concerned about jihad in the West, who are unsympathetic toward Islam generally, are men, Republicans, and over the age of 40. Teenagers and 20ish seem to think Islam is truely a religion of peace. Those in the middle are ambivelent. Protestants are more likely to mistrust Islam than Catholics. Men moreso than women.

If there is a group of Westerners who truly feel that Islam is a threat to civilization, and that threat is fascism that must be stopped, then our demographic layout shows us to be in serious trouble: A bunch of paunchy Bible-thumpers laying out on lawn chairs between old "I like Ike" campaign posters, ice-tea sippers cranking away about the good-old-days. If we're exhausted after nine holes of golf, what kind of revolution are we going to create?

We need an infusion of youth into this fight, those being Western youth. But look at the problem we face: In the Netherland, Dutch couples have 1.5 children, while Moslem couples have 7.5 children. Figure that at best, each Dutch couple is going to have at least twice the income of a Moslem couple. Divide half the income of the average Dutch couple over 7.5 children. What do the Dutch get? Lots of excess kids who haven't got much invested in them. Dutch kids, having almost everything invested in them and being rare, are more valuable per person than are Moslem children to the couple. How many Dutch parents are willing to lose a Dutch child for any reason whatsoever?

Aside from the ocassional misfit who joins the Moslems we're not going to see a large swell of Dutch kids joining the army to restore European values to Europe. If things go Islamic the Dutch and others will simply pack up their degrees and their affluent expectations and remove themselves to a more likely place. Those few Dutch lumpen proletarians left behind might wage some war of destruction but not in defense of European civilization.

The more the Moslems infringe upon the lives of the native Dutch and English and Swedes, et cetera, the more likely the affluent are to simply move away. Those too old and too cranky will sit and complain till it's too late to save themselves. Those of us who see the threat are mostly, according to the polls, too creaky to climb atop mosques and spray-paint cartoon pigs all over the domes. Those with the energy and knees good enough for the task either don't or won't see the problem, and if they do they see it as something to flee from rather than as something to confront. They have too much to lose. Europe itself has too little to offer.

Is it over then? If things continue to degenerate into Islamic primitivism and tribal fascism across Europe, will the best and the brightest pack their Gucci bags and go West?

If conditions in Europe continue as they do today, Moslems pushing forward at all times in all places, Europeans relenting and appeasing, fleeing and collaborating, then Europe is indeed lost. Because European children are so valuable they can't be lost; therefore europe might be lost for want of anyone of worth to save it.

What would make Europe worth fighting for from a European perspective? Only an idea will do that, and Europe seems to have run out of them. Europe will soon run out of Europeans to. Those who remain will create a Jugoslavia writ large. There are already too many Moslems in Europe to try to remove them without major conflict, i.e. war. Who'd think of fighting that war? Not affluent Europeans. There's no idea in Europe today worth fighting for--except Islam.

Moslems in Europe have little to lose and much to gain by fighting for Europe. Who if anyone among the Europeans will resist? Some racist losers, yes, who'll swarm onto the streets and engage in drunken brawls, but where's the hope of winning? Moslems can afford to lose 6.0 children per couple to come out even with native Europeans. Why not go for it? A European couple who loses one child has lost everything, and so has the child lost. What incentive does the average European have to risk his/her life in defence of Europe?

Unless and until there is a social revolution in Europe, a revolution as vast and deep as the French Revolution, a revolution that propells Europeans across the face of the globe till once again they shell al-Azhar and take over the running of primitives, the conquest and destruction of the world of savages and the imposition of civilzation in the place of shari'a and its equivelents, then Europe will decay and become Islamic and dead. And who would care? Onlyt those ofd us sentimental and aged who think of the past glories as worthwihile rather than as cultural imperialism, as the product of the "cancer of the Human race" as the late and unmissed Susan Sontag descibed them. Will there be a revolution in Europe? Or will the cancer of Islamic primitivism conquer and kill the whole body of Europe?

Until those Europeans realize they have a future in Europe as its rulers and leaders they will flee the Islamic onslaught. Can they come to realize that they, the privleged of the history of Humanity have a stake in winning themselves prizes unknown to any other generations? Do the European youth of today realize that they are in a position of conquering the entire world to run it as they see fit? That they could, if they desired, rule the world as their personal kingdoms? That instead of fleeing to America and leaving behind the past 500 yearzs of Human progress,they could instead rally themselves and turn the world into thier own experiments in Human engineering?

Who preaches the might of European youth? Who preaches the possibilities of Socratic rather than Platonic colonialism to willing European elites? If one comes to understand the benefits to the Europeans themselves, not to mention the benefits of civilization to the world of Islamic slaves and their slaves, then there is self-interested motivation for Europeans to go forth and conquer.

How does one bring about such an awareness? By creating conditions in which one is forced to decide whether to stay or to go. By creating Jugoslavian conditions in the Netherlands and Sweden and Denmark today. By engaging and enraging the Moslem masses to extremes of counter-action. It takes not masses of privleged middle-class Europeans in uniform; the thrust of such a programme requires the skills of intellectuals and the rare few who will not be lost but for great reward. No revolution will come from the great masses of Europeans. The revolution will come from the seeding of civil strife by a minority of educated and dedicated urban counter-terrorists who will create a politics of confrontation across Europe, a confrontation that will draw lines of alliance one cannot blur with multi-culturalist cliches. A vanguard of young European ntellectuals who are dedicated to civil war and world conquest for their won gain will arise, if they wish to save themselves, and they will conquer the whole world for themselves, the unintended benefit being civilization for the peasant masses they dominate.

There is a challenge ahead for Europeans, and the prize is the whole world. If Europeans refuse it, then Americans should pick up the task themselves. but it will take men and women with knees that bend, with flat stomaches, and those who don't have nurses adjucting blanckets around their legs and spooning out pudding for dinner.

I don't want the whole load of saving the world to be on the shoulders of our youth. They have a right to live in peace and security, to live and raise families, to live and be happy, to live and to live normal, peaceful, productive lives. I see it as a real shame that kids are thrown into foreign lands to fight a war that we should never have allowed to come to pass: we should have never let the Moslems come this far that we now have to send our youth into battle. I hope that people of all ages will do their parts, regardless of knees and eyesight and aches and pains. We can all do something even if we can't all fight on the ground.

My post above wasn't in regard to the war in Iraq, though it's a good point. Americans and others are indeed fighting for us and for the world as it should be, for freedom and Human decency. I want that fight to spread all across the world, and at this time especially across Europe. It's not a single war in a single place we're engaged in but one that encompasses the entire world. My point above, not to slight or ignore the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and other nations and lands, is that native Europeans should be fighting back in their own lands rather than fleeing to America. But why should they fight for their native lands? Why not run to America? I argue that it might be a matter of sheer self-interest, not anything noble at all, that makes Europeans fight Islamic fascism. It might be that the only thing that keeps Europe Western rather than another sharia ridden pit is the possiblility that Europeans will see a chance to become new-age colonialists like their 19th century ancestors.

I don't like the idea of Europeans doing little or nothing to defend Europe. But why should they if Europe isn't worth defending? I argue that maybe it's a matter of lust, greed, and glory that will move them to greatness, regardless of the morality of the motives.

In all matters in this regard we must look at what is possible and at what is likely. Very few Europeans will ever rise up and fight Islamic fascism. Most people will never rise up and do anything ever about much of anything. but some few will indeed rise up and do great things. Unfortunatley, some of the great things they might do will get done in America if they simply leave Europe. How to keep them in Europe and get them to fight? Give them a stake in it.

What practical matter is this? I suggest that European intellectuals and students are in a position to organize themselves into effective clandestine networks who can create conditions of such extreme social discord that the Quisling governments of Europe will have to respond to the Islamic violence that will, by the politics of confrontation, erupt, thereby forcing the issue to a conclusion.

What is this? That young men and women in Europe create the conditions of social stife by whatever means they choose. That young men and women of daring and vision create the conditions in which they will break the crust of the ruling orders and that they will in time take over as rulers themsleves. That if, for example, French intellectuals create civil conditions that cause the collapse of Chirac and his cronies, there will be room for young intellectuals to form alliances and new political parties to rule France. But, I argue, why stop there? If young and energetic men and women are able to take political control of European nations, why not continue, as Napoleon did, all the way to Egypt?

It won't happen in a day. It'll take years of patient work to form groups who are organized and talented in the areas of politics. That comes from the daily struggles to organize, and I suggest here that young people in Europe consider practialities of doing so rather than relying on American to save them. I argue that if Europeans see the possiblities of rulership coming from neo-colonialism they might be tempted to act on conquest rather than flee to the shores of America for safety. Those who would do this will be few.

It's not a matter of either America wins in Iraq or Europeans fight in Europe. This is a world-wide war for all of us, even old guys at keyboards. This isn't a war that should fall on the shoulders of Young Americans and allied soldiers. All of us have roles to play. It's a matter of whether the eurpeans feel that the game is worth playing, whether the prize is worth the game. I would offer Eurpeans the world. Very few will think it's worth the effort and the risk. But there might be some who'll take up the challenge. They will be not those with little to lose, those who fear losing what little they have, but those who dare to reach for everything. They won't be the stupid and the excess children of swarming Moslem families. They won't be the ones who strap on 25 pounds of explosives to kill a dozen. They'll be the few who think and plan and act so they don't lose their own limited number. This is a possibility that Europeans can consider as a practical option. That rather than lose Europe and flee to America, Europeans can regain Europe and then go on to conquer the whole world. This is a project for the elite. And only the meritorious can claim that distinction. This is a game for the hungry and the ruthless. The Moslems are both right now, and they are winning in Europe. The question is whether the native Europeans can raise up the Charles Martels and Jan Sobieskis. I'm certain they can, but I have to allow that those very people who would otherwise be heroes will simply hop a plane to New York and go into advertizing.

If conditions call for heroes, heroes will arise. How do we create the needed conditions in Europe? How do we make things right for the appearence of a new Churchill? We do thaqt by sowing the seeds of discord in the communities of Europe. We sow those seeds, I argue, by propaganda leaflets, by creating social tensions between competing groups. when the need arises for leaders, leaders will be present. Or they won't be. They might leave for America. We will only know if we make the conditions such that the inevitable confict comes soon enough to make it work for our benefit, and for the eventual benefit of those enslaved by the barbarism of Islam. We have to do our parts, as guys with sore knees and aching backs, to bring about the conflict in our lands that will create the possiblilities of revolutions across Europe. Only those who are strong and ruthless and hungry will respond to the call to leadership. That call must come from the masses. The masses must make that call from conditions of desperation.

This can't fall entirely on the backs of our youth. People old enough and wise enough to see through the crap smeared on our bifocals have to do our parts to inform our children of the need to fight to win, and to convince them that there is a prize worth winning. I confess that at my age molotov cocktails give me heart-burn, and that they're better left for those younger than I. But regardless of my aching joints I have some tricks left yet that work pretty well. I can still do my part to fight for a world of Human freedom for all people everywhere. We can all do that. This is not just a task for our youths. It's a task for all men and women who value Human freedom. Not all of us can all do the same kind of work but we can all do something.

I work at producing propaganda for this struggle. It might not be much but it's what I can do. If I do it well enough, then perhaps our grandchildren can live in a better world. If not, then yes, our grandchildren might well be Moslem. I'm putting my money on our own taking up the challenge of world domination. Better ours than the Moslems. Will it happen? Will we win?

Things in Europe might be better than you would think just reading newspapers. A large part of the new Dutch generation is strongly against muslim immigrants. The general reaction among youngsters last week when a Maroccon criminal who stole a handbag from a car was driven over was: one less to worry about. One thing that certainly helped was the reaction of the robbers friends who claimed that he was a nice guy, and hey, everybody steals a handbag now and then. More important: he never stole from muslims so what was all the fuzz about anyway?

Sonofwalker, I think we have to start now, we have to go for Islam in a major way, we need to cull the fundementalists and deport them, then the peaceful Muslims need to be re-educated on the nastier parts of their religion with the goal to create a proper world religion without the Quran and its hatred.

Mosques will also need to be policed so that ant-social war-mongering and racist clap-trap is eradicated.

No Moslim schools, no segregation and no more Muslim immigrants until we have sorted out those already in our midst. We can educate new arrivals later.

At this point I think the penny is starting to drop, our politicians are too scared to be tarred as racist, but now they are begining to see the threat and listen to those who have been looking on with horror, bewildement and now anger and I see a start. They are too scared that we will end up with civil war, but too do nothing is not an option.

I am British but I live in France, my two children are being taught English by me, I have already told them to think about the USA when they grow up and I have been educating them about the threat of Islam. I just hope that the USA can deal with the Muslim threat too so there is a place to flee to.

I am strongly against Muslim immigration but it seems that people do not want to do anything about it.

We can do this and still be largely true to our belief in demrocacy and freedoom, but if we do not start now then it will be civil war I am sad to say and we may lose.

But decorative figurines of pigs......what’s next somebody with a dislike of window sills is going to force her to get rid of her window sill, or maybe somebody with a phobia of curtains is going to force her to remove her curtains. I plead again granny Weatherwax, tell me this is just a story made up to scare us infidels about the Mussie's.......because if it actually happened then I must be living in the Twilight Zone or in some sort of permanent nightmare that I can't awaken from.

Lest us not forget we also have an internal struggle on our hands for common sense.

The Bingo hall in my town is still called Mecca however. While searching for a link last night I found an Islamic site where where there were complaints about the offensive infidel spelling Mecca. Apparently the spelling Makkah is prefered in some quarters. But I digress.

I haven't lived in Europe for almost twenty years, but when I did, the intellectuals and students were the least likely to stand up for anything to do with national or personal security. They were just like the intelligentsia that currently occupy American universities. But, unlike their American counterparts, they have escaped the Ivory towers and are now in the bureaucracy if not in power.

I believe Europeans will react only when it is obvious that their cultures are in danger of being overrun. Unfortunately, a lot of it will be manifested in right-wing nationalists (e.g. Le Pen) and will be ignored by political correct majority. By the time the "heartland" comes to realize the problem it may be too late.

I am heartened to see that the Dutch and the Danes are beginning to see the light. I just wish the Germans would start be Germans and stop being lackeys to the French.

sonofwalker, your posts about Europe almost bring me to tears! I cannot imagine Europe falling to the barbarians; beautiful, ancient, spellbinding Europe, the heart of Western civilization, the home of the most renowned and brilliant pioneers of our culture, the repository and guardian of the world's greatest treasures of art and historical archives. If their culture is not worth preserving and fighting for if necessary, what is? How could they let it disintegrate?

Even I would be willing to fight for Europe's survival because it is the land of my ancestors, my heritage. I may be a loyal and patriotic American, but European blood runs through my veins.

Surely the Europeans will wake up and do something to stop the invasion of their countries. They can't all come to America, even if they wanted to. The polls indicate that Europeans largely detest America and Americans, so maybe they would prefer life under Sharia to capitalism in America! And remember, we don't have a socialist health care system, but people don't die of their maladies while waiting for diagnostic tests here.

We visited Ireland a few years ago, the one western European country I had never visited. There were more Americans there than Irish! But I didn't see hordes of muslims. Maybe they blend in there, or maybe Ireland has been spared. The Irish are very liberal and egalitarian, so there are probably tens of thousands there now. Ireland is one of the last "religious" European countries, which might protect it to some extent from the rapacious barbarians.

I cannot bear the thought of an Islamic Europe; such a tragedy is inconceivable. They may be complacent pacifists but like all humans, they have a survival instinct. Don't they?

Susanp, I am a Brit but live the other side of the channel, but I talk a lot to my parents, they live in the south-west, when I talk to my father he and all his friends are disgusted with what is going on, what these Islamics can get away with, sprouting hate and destruction while claiming welfare. But they feel that they can do nothing as there is this huge political correctness / racism / Islamaphobia thing that is used to stifle anyone making reasonable comments. All the people are in despair, they recognise the problem but they can not get anyone in authority to listen...

Then we have the Holocaust, we may be accused by many in the US as being anti-Sementic, we really try not to be racist and accept other cultures but that is our problem. Because after what happened to the Jews we say never again. So the Islamics are taking advantage of that.

I can not understand the Holocaust, because the Jewish people enriched European socities, while the Islamics are the opposite they add nothing to our societies except blind stupid hatred and ignorance.

So we have this humanist approach, we respect the people, even if we hate their religion and intolerance and that makes us weak, but also strong.

What are our options, the USA now has a large and growing population of Muslims, not to the same degree as Europe, but its there.

The UK must have identity cards and they must be one of the requirements to be able to get a job.

First of all we must get rid of the radicals, they must be stripped of their citizenship and kicked out. Even second or third generation immigrants, they don't like our nation states so lets see how they like being stateless. (France deports Imans who preach the wrong message, this seems to be spreading to other countries.)

An immediate stop to Muslim immigration. We will however allow non-Muslims to immigrate.

No new Mosques, Mosques to be controlled by the state. So that the firebrands are forced underground.

No Muslim schools, they are teaching fascism.

A ban on headscarfs and other anti-women clothing.

No to arranged marriages.

No to honour killings, there is no honour in that.

An understanding that Islam is not just a religion but a political fascist system.

Re-education of our own population to see Islam for what it is. (Tough one that as many people seem to live in fairy land and put their heads in the sand.)

Re-education of the Muslim population of the issue around the Quran and its failure as a religion to fit in with our system. We should open this up so the so called moderate Muslims can see that it is full of hate and a religion of conquest and try to develop a kinder more world orientated religion.

Finally as this is going to cost us a lot of money to implement, a tax on Muslims of 10%, if they can can do this to non-Muslims in their states so why can't we do this.

And if the Muslims see this as harrasment and leave so what, go back to your perfect socities and leave my freedoms intact.

This can be done without civil war and killings, but only if we act now. Its like sorting out the pension system, the later we leave it the worse it will get. Do any of our politicians have the foresight the long term view or the standing to do this. Sarkozy, possibly! Blair, has the balls but is too PC, no one alse in the Labour party but the eductaion secretary looks promising.

Europes ageing populations need immigrants, but lets make sure that we get the right ones. I really liked Indian Hindu's, nice, intelligent and work hard. The Muslims (generally) that I met were full of arrogance and blamed everyone else apart from themselves.

Ireland, was quite poor and had a net outflow of people up until quite recently, but its economy has taken off and its GDP per head is now greater than the UK, this was quite a recent change, since the mid-90's. So its not an issue there yet.

What makes me annoyed is everyone talks about it, but no one does anything. Is what I proposed above so radical, so difficult! No, its just having the balls to do it.

But lets be certain of one thing, the rule of law and respect of individual rights are sacrosant, though in saying this some of the above do step on individual rights, but some aspects of the Islamic system are against individual rights and I think those that I have stated above are to counter those abuses. We should never be like them with their lack of respect for the loss of human life, this is our strength and we should not forget that.

Daffersd, all of your remedies for the muslim problem sound reasonable to me, but I think the level of tolerance and political correctness in Europe has spiked beyond the rational level. In fact, although it's bad enough here, it seems to be suicidal there. I call it self-hate for lack of a better definition, but I don't understand self-hate. Every nation on earth is guilty (at some point in its existence/history) of engaging in war, colonialism, hegemony, or some offense against another nation or people. The extant generations, (you and me) aren't culpable for the putative "crimes" of our ancestors. We are responsible for ensuring that those crimes aren't repeated, but nothing more.

If you think for one split second that I feel any guilt, remorse, or obligation to muslims because of the first Gulf War or the war in Iraq, or for the existence of Israel, think again! I think the war in Iraq is a lost cause, unwinnable, and a theocracy is inevitable. I don't think muslims want, appreciate, or understand freedom. They only want the freedom to enslave themselves and the rest of the world to Islam. I do not believe that Islamic culture and Islam are compatible with Western values, and I don't think muslims should be permitted to invade, endanger, and pollute our societies. There are about 3 million legal muslims in the US; who knows how many illegals are here. The approximate population of the U.S. is 300 million people. Even if there were 10 million muslims, they are still a very tiny minority. But despite their small numbers compared to the overall population, they make more noise, generate more contentious publicity, engage in more whining, complaining, and portray themselves as poor, persecuted victims more than any other ethnic group in the history of this country. They are disgusting.

American muslims haven't attempted the outrageous escapades of British muslims---yet. There are plenty of radical muslims here, and probably sleeper terrorist cells. But they keep a low profile because Americans aren't likely to put up with the crap that Europeans tolerate from them. They're breeding like rats as we speak and when there are more of them, I'm sure they'll become bolder and more demanding. We'll see what happens, but I'm reasonably sure they won't preach jihad and hate in our public parks and then go home to their subsidized housing projects and recruit ex-convicts for jihad, although they are recruiting them directly from the prisons. Hopefully, that problem is being addressed.

I would gladly exchange every muslim in America for every Jew in the world. I don't hate muslims, but I loathe and despise their religion and the evil hatred it inculcates in them. Islam creates monsters and what good are monsters? The most fundamental right of all human beings is self-preservation, and political correctness will never force me to renounce that right.

The amount of anger by normal people in the UK is incredible, all it will take is some terrorist action and the people will make their feelings known. I would not like to be a Muslim in the UK afterwards.

It's scary stuff. Particularly for me, being Jewish and female and British! When I walk down the road here, I'm often aware that I'm the only woman in sight who's not wearing a hijab, and I have to say it's crossed my mind that I might be attacked for walking in public with my hair uncovered (and even my arms sometimes in the summer - shock horror). In all seriousness this is really scary and I get more scared every day - particularly since the mainstream British media seems to want nothing more but to suck up to the Muslims no matter how extremist and offesnsive their views.
