FRANKLINTON - "Many of us fear what we don't know," Imam Jehad Mahmoud said yesterday to members and guests of the Franklinton Rotary Club.Mahmoud, who serves as president of the Islamic Center of Baton Rouge, spoke to the Rotarians yesterday to provide a brief lesson on the foundations of the Islamic faith n and in hopes of putting common myths and misconceptions of the faith to rest.
"If I talk about Islam, I'll be talking about Christianity, I'll be talking about Judaism…" Mahmoud said. "We are all the same."
"The Religion before Allah is Islam: Nor did the People of the Book [Jews and Christians] dissent therefrom except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account." (Qur'an 3:19)
Mahmoud also addressed a misconception sparked from radical Muslims that eternal salvation is guaranteed by killing an infidel. "No one can be assured he is going to Heaven," and it is considered a blasphemy to state that belief. "The only way for any person to get to Heaven is through God himself."In addition, Muslims are taught that anyone who commits suicide "will stay in Hellfire for eternity, committing suicide."
"Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth..." (Qur'an 9:111)
"We pray in congregation, with the men in front, and the women in back," Mahmoud explained.However, it is not because women are seen as inferior to men, he said, but instead it is "out of respect and protection." Because Muslims kneel to the ground during prayer, and "men have weak hearts," the men must always pray in front of the women.
In addition, men cannot "expose anything between the belly button and knees, and women can only expose their hands and face. However, the Muslim dress code is a choice, he said, adding that he's even heard of Muslims who have attended nudist camps.
I believe nudist camps might be out of the question for believing Muslims as well: "And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss." (Qur'an 24:31)
Oh, yeah, "men have weak hearts," poor dears. That's why they have to CONTROL their exposure to the female sex. And that's why they have to CONTROL women altogether.

Is that the same type of “choice” that Moslems experience when they leave Islam?
Prayer is annulled by a dog, a donkey and a woman if they pass in front of the person that's praying. That gives you an idea what league women are in as far as islam is concerned. Or does it mean men have weak hearts for dogs and donkeys too? I see a lot of this in Holland as well, muslim organisations 'informing' infidels about islam. You just know they will give them the glossy version instead of the real deal.
Muslim women are put at the back of the room "out of respect for them"....would that line of BS have worked as an excuse as to why blacks were made to ride at the back of the bus, could we have used the excuse that white people "were weak of stomach therefore needed to ride at the front"?
Just as blacks were segregated from the whites, muslim women are segregated and treated as second class citizens in islam, sorry but no amount of excuses or "its for their own good" or "out of respect" is going to make it any different. It is written in their koran that a womans mind is deficient, how can they deny that they treat women as such?

Now there's a thought... civil disobedience, hmmmm... Ok! Who has a bunch of dogs they can let loose at the proper moment? I know a town in Michigan where they would come in handy... certainly would get the message to a couple of people.
I like the idea of Muslim nudist camps. Hiding a suicide vest would be out of the question. Even hiding a box-cutter would be uncomfortable.
These workshops are nothing but taqiyya sessions, and the grubs leading these workshops know fully well they can justifiably lie their heads off, because it's perfectly acceptable to do so when it's to promote Islam. You don't promote Islam if you tell the ugly truth and expose the hatred and intolerance for Jews, Christians and everybody else under the sun.
I think the comment about Muslims going to nudist camps is bull. A pathetic attempt to convince infidels that they've nothing to worry about, Muslims are just like everybody else. It's a throwaway comment, he doesn't provide proof and doesn't need to, and nobody would ask for proof.
"Men have weak hearts"? No, Mahmoud, you need to clarify that: Muslim men have weak hearts. (And weak brains too.) It's been a while since I was in a Christian church but women were not segregated. They don't need to be because their men are taught to respect women, and to have self-control. Unlike Islam. Obviously they must feel that in the middle of worship at their mosque, men would be overcome with lust and ravage their women right there on the mosque floor. This might not be so farfetched given their screwed up views on women.
Nice comment USAGirl. I wish someone would look into the deficient mind of American women who marry Muslim men. I think the idea of being different and submissive somehow appeals to these women. I see them covered from head to toe, with only their blue or green eyes showing. It makes me wonder, why in God's name are these women doing this to themselves?

Muslim men are for the most part, driven by their animal instincts. Until they dispose of that and develop some sort of rational, intellectual thinking process, they are going to remain in that rut permanently.

Muslims at nudist camps?
Maybe it was a muslim camp,you know,everybody is naked but you have to wear a blidfold at all times and if your blindfold falls off then one of your family members has to stab your eyes out.
