Bin Laden Asks Zarqawi to Make U.S. a Target -Source

Just in from Reuters, with thanks to Rebecca Bynum:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden has fairly recently asked his chief ally in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, to consider the territory of United States as a target for terrorist attacks, a U.S. counterterrorism official said on Monday.

"There has been communication between bin Laden and Zarqawi with bin Laden suggesting to Zarqawi the U.S. homeland as a target," said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

The official said the communication was "a fairly recent development" and contained no specific threat to the United States. But the official declined to provide details for fear of compromising U.S. anti-terrorism efforts.

HEH.

The dork's pork is frying already. As if Zarqawi needed special instructions from obl to strike America. As if Zarqawi could've anytime rained hell on the US but mercifully restrained his hand awaiting his master's voice....The jihadis are losing. And losing it as well.
I've no doubt that if they could, then they would strike. So far it seems they couldn't. But complcency isn't the answer. Time we captured all these ba$tardi....

Not a wise move. I've heard rumors that it has been expressed in "no uncertain terms," that another 9/11 style attack in the US will result in Mecca and Medina being turned to "glass."

On a more positive note see somewhat related discussion going on over at Roger L. Simon's. See this comment and the scroll to the main topic and browse the comments:

What's New about That?

Bin Laden's mob did have an un- 'FAIR GO', and they really "Struck fear in the hearts of the enemy"- Now we are pre-empting and preventing more of the same, at exorbitant cost. At least we're trying...

I suggested from the very beginning to 'TAKE THE OILFIELDS" in Saudi Arabia.
After rearranging the rubble in Afghanistan the US could have taken over SA, confiscated all bank-accounts, kicked the fat cats out (in their preposterous white robes) into the desert (where they came from) and the spoils of war (the palaces, the luxury cars, the Jewellery, all the undeserved wealth incl. the golden bath tubs) should have been sold off to a more deserving people...
I suggest Bush may still be able to do that. However, for the next attack on the US Bin Laden may not use any Saudi nationals at all, so the best excuse to take over this 'staunch ally' my have been missed ...

IF THE MONEY STOPS , TERRORISM STOPS!

Anyhow, Sheik Yer'mami sends his regards:

SO SORRY to stray from the subject, but there's something potentially pretty good afoot:

Preceding a strongly-backed No-Confidence Motion in it, due in the nation’s Parliament this afternoon, the resignation of the Syrian-dominated Government in Beirut this morning’s an excellent piece of news!

Notwithstanding, at this interim, hopes for peace in the Middle East remain teetering in the balance. The opportunities for its advent are today at their best for ages, but the various, malignly nihilistic parties opposed to it are striving indefatigably to ensure that NO peace takes hold in the region. The weekend’s Arab terror-bombing in Tel Aviv was a sign of this.

In “Palestine”, if the PA complies with its “Road Map” obligations to disassemble the organs and infrastructure of its terrorist-arms - and their auxiliaries - there can be progress towards peace.

If the Syrians are next made to evacuate their regular AND irregular forces from Lebanon, NOT simply redeploying them into the Beqaa Valley, there’s an improved chance for régime-change - in favour of democracy - in Fascist Syria itself, possibly leading to peace.

Though Iraq and Iran remain problematic, any positive developments in “Palestine”, Lebanon and Syria couldn’t help but to have some BENEFICIAL SPILL-OVER within these two countries. Certainly, at least Syrian facilitation of Islamo-fascist gunmen crossing into Iraq will abruptly cease and Hezbollah’s nexus with Iran, at minimum, would be severely disrupted.

Major international reversals for Iran’s Grand Council of Islamic Guidance, such as the sudden loss of its strategic influence in the prominent arena of Lebanon, plus being stripped of its crony in Damascus, could well kick off the requisite, domestic, anti-Theocratic processes that bear a strong potential to grow there - into the popular power to topple the Ayatollahs.

However, the odds on this shaping INDEPENDENTLY, SOON, would be more likely if diverse, superlatively subtle and adept, international assistance were to be introduced into Iran, to accelerate democracy’s arrival there. Indeed, external support could be the INDISPENSABLE catalyst - but, without a doubt, employing it’d be entering a supremely dangerous game.

Alas, in the case of Iran, there might not be TIME for a functional movement to arise, prior to the ruling Council acquiring a nuclear “war-fighting ability”. Following its assumption of this status (within six months to five years), it’ll be immediately enabled to do WHATEVER it may desire - such as crushing all dissidence internally, without any interference, and, regionally, extracting its demands-of-the-hour from its neighbours, before pressing its ultimata further afield.

In addition, a HIGH degree of skepticism’s warranted in dealing with the “Palestinians”, at least for as long as their terror-networks remain intact. (Who - for the sake of peace - will eventually be left NO ALTERNATIVE but to destroy “Palestine”’s terrorism, if the PA declines to properly discharge its responsiblities on this topic, as it’s explicitly mandated to do in the “Road Map”?)

As for Syria and Lebanon, the US ought to be somewhat dubious re how far FRANCE (which DID work with Washington on passing UNSC Resolution 1559) will finally accompany the US in attaining ALL of America’s (rational), interdependent, geopolitical objectives in the Levant

These include Damascus’ prompt and total pull-out from Lebanon, together with full withdrawal of the cadres of Iranian Revolutionary Guards, a rapid end to all forms of overt and covert Syrian and Lebanese sponsorship for terrorism in Iraq, Jordan, “Palestine”, et al, their severing of military, “technical research”, “security”, etc, links with Tehran, the comprehensive elimination of Syria’s large WMD arsenals and industries and thorough democratization in Syria and re-democratization in Lebanon.

Every one of these is in French interests (along with everyone else’s), but the US should always be wary of Paris - at some pivotal juncture - breaking ranks, the moment that it’s seduced (by the malevolent forces to which it CONTINUES to be delighted to listen most respectfully - and to be utterly SNOWED) into misperceiving that it can gain some “advantage” or other in the Levant via altering its contemporary, mildly pro-US course, or its own, opportunistic, Mideast agenda’s not being adequately served while France co-operates with America....

Interesting. Suggests OBL is in too weak a position to do anything himself. Quite possibly Osama is hiding in mountains in Afghan/Pakistan border or in Pakistan itself. Hopefully he will be flushed out soon. Zarqawi himself is on the run
so apart from sending a suicide bomber with good risk of being caught, chances are the bastards won't succeed this time. Butcher of Baghdad is in everyone's sights : there will be terrified men and women in Iraq who know where he is and sickened by the slaughter might dub him in. We can't blame the Iraqis for being scared, those Beheading videos are mean't to keep 'the faithful'
from uttering a 'squeak' or they'll be next for torture and beheading chambers!

OBL is in Iran!

No way this desert Arab is freezing in the mountains of Afghanistan!

Iran takes good care of him, 'muslim-brothers' always take care of each other! When the truth comes out we will be surprised to see how well they supported him. And the Saudi's too...

http://www.terrorists-suck.org/fight/winds_of_jihad.html

Terminator: Right on about OBL being in Iran, the last video he was in had experts suggesting the garbs he was wearing were of Iranian heritages and ever since then his audio recordings have been released....hmm...being spanked to a no good pathetic old audio has got to hurt his pride and well he cant connect with the people through audio.

And while hes toutin bout sproutin' Lebanon is deposing Islamic Rule and Egypt is calling for contested Presidential elections.....somebody pinch to see if I'm dreaming.....

Oh and it seems as if CTU has stopped the nuclear meltdown on FOX'"24" tonight.

The next slaughter by Muslims will mean the gloves are coming off,the silence from western Muslims has been deafening and if they won't deal with the Jihadist and Islamists then we will.

CAIR has done more to aid the terrorists and hamper the securities force that are trying to save lives,it's nice that Muslims are willing
to take the risk with my life but I'd rather
the military do their job and neutralize a threat or a future potential one.

I don't trust Hooper,he's a back-stabbing weasel that's going to get us killed.

That CAIR commercial makes me want to yak! I know that most people pay no attention to commercials, but how many are buying into the sweet muslim crap?

"This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."
Winston Churchill, after El Alamein.

As for France - I would not worry. The key to French foreign policy is the French desire to keep and expand a French-speaking diplomatic "empire", in Africa and elsewhere. They intervene heavily in any African civil war that might threaten the loss of a friendly country. Lebanon used to be "Little-France-on-the-Eastern-Med" and still speaks the best French this side of Algeria; the prospect of seeing the Syrians out and their own friends in will be enough to keep the French collaborating till the Assads (who are unfriends of France, since they turned their previous Syrian colony to Arabic and English) are out.

However, breaking the Assad hold over Syria will be another matter. The Alawi minority who support them and run the army will at no cost let them be defeated at home, since defeat would leave them more naked and helpless than even the Sunnis of Iraq. The Alawis are smaller as a percentage of the total population, and they have no standing as Muslims. They believe in reincarnation, keep Christian holidays, and believe in a recognizably Gnostic theology in which the souls are particles of primordial light that must recover their unity with this undivided and immaterial first principle; which most other Muslims will regard as about as much Muslim as, say, Father Christmas. Altogether, the Syrians Alawis must rule or die, at least as things stand in that wretched country. And that will make reform very difficult indeed.

I absolutely agree, if anything happens within the United States then Muslims IN America will be front and center, and rightly so.

CAIR should be held up to the light and every single American should be tought what the word "Taqiyya", means. They should be forced to take a crash course on a few things regarding Islam so they better understand that the "war on terror", really means a clash of beliefs. I firmly believe that the reason Muslims are so quiet is because even when they say they don''t support extremism, they believe it is advancing Islam.

Saying little to nothing, IS saying something.

Dear Iman, I have a troubling problem that I hope you can help me with. While looking for a new Jihadi website I accidentaly came across a site called Jihad Watch. Let me tell you my brother, this site put the fear of allah in me! Our mission is going to be much harder here in America than I thought and I don't think this site likes da brothers. For instance this one guy called Moose acuses us muslims of practicing taqiyya when a brother speaks up and denounces a terrorist strike. And then in the next sentence he says that if we stay silent we are condoning the terrorist act. I don't know, we lose either way. What should this brother say in reply to him? Yours faithfully, Jack Beanladin.

Yes, I don't think another attack on the US would be good PR for Islam. Before 9/11 most people were pretty oblivious about Islam. I certainly was. Didn't have a clue about it. Thought it was just an exotic religion where people dressed funny and worshipped in mosques where that spine-chilling caterwauling emanates from every once in a while.

Even though Muslims have been busy with their taqiyya efforts, many people have been learning about Islam on their own. And finding out some very startling and shocking things. I doubt that if Bush stood in front of TV cameras again, spouting "Islam is a religion of peace", that he'd be as convincing. These so-called moderate Muslims would need to worry, for I doubt Americans would hold back as well as last time. There's only so much shoving you can take, before you feel the need to shove back.

Feralee,

I know we shouldn't say this. But, just suppose:

George Bush would do the 'right thing' and vaporize Mekka on the Hajj- would that really mean that the Muslims would then pray to HIM since the Kaaba is gone and he's proven to them that his medicin is stronger than theirs?

That would really be something to worry about, but then again...

We worry about the Muzzies all the time, better worry about one of our own...

Terminator,

There's a friend of Michael Medved, radio talk show host, named Victor Mordecai (sp?) who is a frequent guest on the show. Mordecai's wife is an Egyptian-born Jew who scans all sorts of media in the Middle East, and scoops in all sorts of useful information.

Anyway, Mordecai has written several books in which he made analyses and from them, predictions about activities of the Muslims, and he has apparently has been uncannily accurate.

One of his contentions is exactly one that is being talked about here this morning, and that is, if Mecca were "glassed," that would, in the average Muslim "mind," strongly suggest that the Western God is stronger than Allah, and would cause many of the survivors to change sides through conversion.

I have so many books on my "wish list" that I haven't bought any of his yet, but they could be fun.

I predict Iraq style attacks in the US, UK, Australia, Holland indeed any country which stood behind or didn't try to sabotage the deposition of Saddam.

In this point in time the means do not justify the end product.

Should we see truck bombings in New Jersey USA, Beheadings in the Midlands UK there will be the roar of a lion which the governments will not be able to silence.

Every Muslim in a car or on foot will be seen as a potential suicide bomber, they will be "made safe".

Many times out of ten the object of the attention will be completely innocent, but whose fault will that be? Not ours, we didn't start it.

We will have people taking to the streets, UK Loyalists, US Loyalists, European Loyalists doing what they can for the sake of our own people.

Self preservation is a natural reaction and one which a government will attempt to stop at it's peril.

Another 9-11 attack will be the absolute end of Islam in the western world. let's make sure of that.
