This is a positive development indeed, and Holland seems to have acknowledged the threat of Islamism. However, let us not celebrate until the fat lady sings, because there is much, much more to do against the islamisation of Europe in the large: Holland is just one little country trying to get a grip on Islamism, but Europa is being threatened as we speak and remains to be a powerful magnet for radical imams.

The man was in Holland illegally so that's the main reason why he was immediately deported. The ones who have permits are going all the way to the European Court to fight their deportation.

The mosque, "Iskender Camii, was Turkish. Turks were allowed into Germany in large numbers because it was believed, naively, that they would come, work, and return home. They are now there in the millions. Some choose to slough off Islam and become European (to "become European" means to throw off Islam as a Total Regulation of Life and Total Explanation of the Universe, and to see Islam for what it is).

Far more Turks, however, slough off not Islam, but Kemalism. Far from the constraints that, until Erdogan began to pick them apart one by one (and as he is still doing, and will continue, winning some battles here, losing others there, but steadily, steadily making Turkey perfectly safe again for Islam -- letting the genie completely out of the bottle, while Ataturk had tried to stuff it in), that limited the practice and power of Islam in Turkey, those Turkish migrants in the West become more fervent in their faith, more militant.

And that is what will happen, far more often, if Turkey is allowed into the E.U.

It is terrible to see Israel, whose people do not deserve it, succumbing to the pressures of the outside that had become so intolerable that they have been internalized by the Israeli government -- or at least by many of its members, including the mentally clouded Sharon whose policy has gone beyond Land for Peace (idiotic as that formulation is), and now has adoped, in Louis Rene Beres's phrase, Land for Nothing.

It is terrible, too, to see European nations, under far less outside pressure, failing to come to their senses, or doing so, but only intermittently, and with such a weak response.

A total of four imams expelled? Why are they not all being monitiored, every single word they write or utter, and immmediately expelled, and their mosues closed down? There is absolutely no need for HOlland, or any other country in dar al-Harb (and that includes Israel) to curry favor by committing suicide, whether fast (as with the Sharon withdrawal) or slow (as with the E.U., that has given itself at least another decade or two in which to decide whether European civilization, art, science, mental freedom, and individual autonomy, are worth braving the wrath of -- of whom, exactly? The Arabs who will have to sell their oil in any case, and will do it, at whatever price the market will bear? The Arabs and other Muslims, who are totally dependent on the non-Muslim world for advanced medical care, education for the children of the ruling classes, modern technology of all sorts? Of the Arabs and Muslims who, with the oil bonanza apparently not enough, continue to receive, in the form of incredible amounts of foreign aid, a disguised "jizya"? The West should end all aid to them and work to diminish the revenues that pay for those mosques and madrasas all over the Western world, shut down the Da'wa efforts in prisons and among the psychically marginal and the Spiritual Seekers (god, spare us the Spiritual Seekers) that can be found everywhere.

Then not only the West, but the non-Muslim East, will -- however imperfect that West and that East may be, have a chance. And even those who still suffer under Islam may, in the end, begin to re-think, and begin, for their own sakes, to constrain it. A thousand years have passed since Muslims were permitted (when they were still, in the countries they conquered, a minority) to contribute to the world's intellectual life. Perhaps that will happen once again -- but only insofar as the individuals involved ignore, rather than embrace, Islam.

The manner in which this all-encompassing dogma stunts mental growth needs to be studied. But the results are clear: just look for example at Saudi Arabia, where vast riches have been pouring in for two generations. And what have those two generations of Saudis of leisure, an entire country of leisure, managed to produce in art, science, or anything else?

They have produced nothing. They have accomplished nothing. And nothing will come of nothing.

I wonder if Professor Churchill would be expelled if he lived in the Netherlands since he is on record as promoting jihad against his own country.

Excellent posting, Hugh. Americans need to know and have Islam correctly defined for what it is: dehumanizing, uncivilized, oppressive, racist, murderous, and destructive (just to mention a few). None of our major elected officials have stepped forwards to frame Islam in the correct context of national and worldwide security, and if any political group organized in this country with the defined characteristics of Islam above, it would be illegal (ie KKK and Nazi parties). The more people who know and make their voices heard then the better we will be able to combat this destructive cult.

I just read in the Rotterdam newspaper that the 'imam' that was thrown out actually was not an imam. Just an illegal alien working at the mosque as a volunteer. The police came in looking for illegal aliens, not for radical imams. Don't think for a second that Holland is waking up to the islamist threat. A lot of very popular people are still comparing the situation Muslims have gotten themselves into to what happened with the Jews in WW2. Politicians are very, very scared to tackle the problems we face. The thoughtpolice is everywhere. The radical left is still in control of the media and soon will regain control over the government. CAIR Canada has been silent on the CIC's demands and that's considered a sign or approval since they don't object to it as they do on mostly anything perceived as Islamophobic.

For Muslims the Koran is everything. It explains and abolishes the past, as the past is ignorance. It totally dictates what they do in the present. And most importantly, it predicts the final victory of Islam.

This fatalism and pre-destination is the lot of the Muslim. This explains the lack of progress of virtually all people who fall under Islam.

1. Thinking stops - final victory is assured, no need to think.

2. Progress stops - same reason - see 1.

3. No innovation - see 1.

4. A destitute society that can only survive by pillage or on charity.

I can think of no Muslim nation that is an exception. All positive cultural evoltion stops where islam is dominant. All that is left is Jihad - as mandated by a thief and brigand.

It is for this reason, fatalism and pre-destination, that once innovative people such as Egyptians, Iraqis (Babylonians?) or Persians, fell to decay, ignorance and abject resignation, after their subjugation to Islam. It is the same reason why Muslims in England and France and other parts of Europe, are the most "disadvantaged". This, despite many social programs in their favour.

Now one of the advantages of this fatalism is that it gives Muslims the ability to suffer in silence, as it is the will of allah. Muslims have great ability to suffer, when most of us would be up in arms to right the wrongs of society. Just look at how patient they are under the most brutal dictatorships. We also do not see any protests by Muslims of the mayhem their Jihad is creating. Pre-destination and the will of allah. We see this time and time again. Muslims are thus the very first victims of Islam. Their minds have been closed for them by the Koran. What can they do - is is just the will of allah - ishaallah.

PS: By the way, if people don't see the Islamic threat, then this means that they are not worthy of democracy. It is a possibility that the future holds a return to the Dark Ages. Similar to the Jews in Germany just before WWII. The smart ones left Germany asap, but the dull ones re-assured their families that the violence would eventually pass... and then they were sent to the gas chambers. Their ignorance of human nature condemned both themselves and their families. Once more we see a threat and the majority of the people are oblivious to it. I suspect that a few will wake up once nuclear weapons start goling off in the Middle East...

To me, this confirms that islam is of the devil. Christianity teaches that Satan is the Lord of This World. Here is the Koran, Chapter 1, verse 1... the very beginning of the book:

1.1": All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds

That about sums it up. "allah" is the "Lord" of the "World(s)" allah=satan and mohammed is his messenger. islam is a Religion of Piece and they'll kill ya to prove it!

I cannot be certain, but I do seem to remember Italy throwing out more than one imam (after noisy inquests by newspapers) and even shutting down unauthorized mosques.
