Are we supposed to believe that Moroccans as such have some animus toward Hindus? Are we to assume that this is fallout from some border dispute between Morocco and India? (You didn't know they shared a border? Of course they do. It runs just southwest of Poland China, the famous hog-breeding nation.)

Just a note. A newspaper in Kansas City reported on the religious affiliations of the population of the States of Kansas and Missouri.
In both states 85% of the population identified themselves as belonging to a Christian denomination, 14% identified themselves as agnostic or atheist and 0.4% identified themsleves at Muslim. What was the Title of the newspaperes article? Answer: "A Diversity of Diversities" What is "diverse" about 85% of the population identifying themselves as belonging to a Christian denomination?
The newspaper has a Faith section and fully 1/3 of all articles talk about Islam. Kansas has a population of about 4 million. If 0.4% are Muslim that equals about 20,000 people in a state of 4 million identify themselves as Muslim. But these 20,000 people get 1/3 of the religious press conference? Why oh why or why?
Because they kill people that's why. Because they attacked us, that's why. Of course, the newspaper's articles always take the slant that Christians need to understand Muslims better and that negative attitudes towards Islam are never legitimate, they are always the result of ignorance and bigotry.

Maybe you'd be interested to know that all the fuss is about a translation of a poor-quality summary of an article that appeared in a Dutch newspaper about a year ago. A few days later, in the same newspaper, a follow-up was published, saying among others that the police was on extra alert, that Moroccan parents stronlgy condemned the actions of the youth etc. No further follow-up was published, so we can safely assume that the matter has been settled.
What can we learn from this: For almost all of the people posting comments on this site, as well as for Mr Robert Spencer every stick is welcome to beat Muslims. Nobody bothers to check or verify information. Well done, you're certainly helping to solve problems.

What difference does it make how old the article is? The article is important because it shows that some Muslims have problems with cultures **other** than people from white Western Christian backgrounds.
The Western media is constantly telling us that the fact that Muslims hate us so much is all our own fault -- yet this article shows that they hate dark-skinned Hindus just as much as they hate us.
I have read similar reports coming from the UK about Muslims attacking Sikh and Hindu schools and religious places -- this article sounds so similar I believe it is pretty correct as to the MO employed. In addition, the peeing and shitting on holy places is exactly what the Muslims did who occupied the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem a few years ago (although the mainstream media blamed the entire episode on the Israelis -- see, it was all the Israeli Jews' fault that Muslims were shitting and peeing on the altar inside the holiest Church in Christendom.)

Someone who usually sends in news items everyday sent it to me so I didn't bother to check the date. However, your comments are laughable. First of all, don't pretend like this happened ten years ago. This was fairly recently. Then you say that the police is on 'alert' and the parents 'condemn' their children for terrorizing the temple and that's supposedly the end of the story? If anything, the police will pressure journalists not to mention the ethnic background of criminals, and they will tell the person being harassed to move somewhere else. I couldn't care less what those parents say when there's a microphone shoved in their faces. You can not assume anything. Only yesterday a woman had to flee her house after being attacked by Moroccan youth systematically. They even tried to burn down her house. Police told her they couldn't do anything and the parents didn't even speak Dutch. I'm sorry about this mix-up although I'm not going to take it down from my weblog, I'm pretty sure nobody outside of Holland picked up on it either so Mr Spencer is the first.
TVE, what you can learn from this is that because something happened a few months ago that does not mean Mr Spencer or anyone else can't put it on their website as an example of Muslim aggression towards other cultures. This kind of thing is happening all the time, next time I will make sure it's more fresh from the press.

The fact is that pretty-much every minority culture of people that has ever willingly migrated into a Western, secular democracy has succeeded admirably. Even without the benefit of recourse to the law, civil liberties, and equal rights, just consider the thousands of examples of Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Zoroastrians, and Jews that come into a new place and make a decent life for themselves and their kids.
Only one group in general seems to have a problem with grasping the concept. It has nothing to do with skin color, as evidenced by the difference in good citizenship shown between Hindus and Muslims in Europe. Both groups are from the Indian subcontinent, and are basically (sometimes not-so) distant cousins: non-different in every physical and genetic way.
Maybe as the violence escalates in Denmark and elsewhere between Muslims and infidels of all stripes, Father Ramdhani and his followers will wake up to the truth. If they are from India, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out why Muslims are defacing their temple and harassing their devotees.

Dutch join the migrant exodus to Australia

It is not just Britons, fed up with overcrowding and poor weather, who look to another continent for a new life. Across the Channel, the Dutch middle classes are quitting clogged roads and street violence in numbers unheard of in living memory.
Australia is a top destination for a wave of migration among educated Dutch people, sparked by racial strife and increasing unrest in the Netherlands. The murder of homosexual populist politician Pim Fortuyn and film-maker Theo van Gogh are seen as linked to the exodus. More people left Holland in 2003 than arrived.
The trend is likely to continue. A typical reaction comes from Els Booij, human resources consultant for the Japanese company Kawasaki. Away from home in Amsterdam for a holiday in the French Alps, she told me: "Most sensible people think things have gone too far. There's a lack of drive among politicians to get to grips with the problems. Instead, a sense of resignation reigns – nothing changes."
Maybe we can airdrop some weapons in like we did to WWll Dutch resistance fighters!
