JOH AIRONG, Thailand (Reuters) - Two bombs have exploded in Thailand's restive south, wounding eight people, officials say. The blasts occurred hours before Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra meets top aides on Monday to revise security tactics in the region ahead of a visit there later this week.Thaksin, who won a second term in a landslide last week but not one seat in the largely Muslim south, said he would improve coordination of efforts to restore peace in the region, where more than 500 people have been killed since January last year.
Appeasement has been tried everywhere. Whatever is offered, will be pocketed by the Muslims in southern Thailand. But until de-islamization takes place, until there is an appeal based on stigmatizing Islam as an "Arab supremacist religion" and a further appeal to Thais to return to their own religion and ways, instead of becoming "false Arabs" (a potent appeal, because it happens to be based on truth, and felt resentments), hatreds and resentments --based on Muslim texts, and unrelated to any objective reality (and so if that objective reality is improved, and millions thrown at the Muslims, this will have no effect on their felt resentments but only make them more powerful, more convinced of the rightness of their violence, more able to conduct Da'wa).
Appeasement, "making things better," "addressing their concerns," "integrating the Muslms better into Thai society" -- the same folly as is being pursued in Europe, because other means, other ways, based on a deeper understanding of Islam, are simply unthinkable though they are quite simple and have the virtue of being based on what is true, rather than what is merely wishful thinking, are still not being discussed.

Damn - the origami didn't work. I was hopeful - if it worked in Thailand I had hoped to see it tried in Iraq, Iran, Chechnya, Nigeria, Indonesia, Gaza, Yemen, etc. - hey wait a second - those are all Islamic countries (or stong Muslim presence). I think this tells us something.

Maybe it is that salient truth that is needed to break down the mental and emotional barriers of non Muslim sympathizers, and maybe Muslim converts like Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens).
Islam is a mental virus, a from of cerebral HIV. A person who adopts Islam, or associates with Islamics, becomes infected and starts thinking like an Arab. Converts (I refuse to dignify them with the stupid word revert, which actually pays homage to the ideology), take up Arab names, learn Arabic, use Arabic words and salutations, and actually identify with Arabs, and not their native country, language or race.
And as regards Arabs, most who consider themselves Arabs are not at all, they are Assyrians, Phoenicians, Croats, Greeks, Macedonians, Turkomen, Egyptians, Berbers, Moors, etc.. but not Arabs, that "honor" belongs to the inhabitants of Arabia, (and not all of those, as there was a lot of commerce and admixture of genes with other peoples such as Nubians, Ethiopians and Egyptians) and their descendants who migrated to mesopotamia, in fact the Marsh Arabs of Iraq, are related to the original Mesopotamians, with an admixture of Mongol, Persian and of course the Arab Ghazi (Raiders) that came out of Saudi Arabia on the backs of Camels.
The Iranians who hold Arabs below contempt and proclaim that they are not Arabicized, delude themselves, they have adopted the Arab mentality (ideology), names and script, and of course the same for the Pathans (Pashtuns) and Uzbeks, and Tajiks.
Yes Islam is Arab Imperialist ideology in guise of a religion.
And apparently that is what the Saudis are hoping for as they fund "education and mosques" in the west, (via our own money, and with the friendship and support of Bush and the Carlyle Group).
