Condolences to friends and family and again they have to reach out for help, the inattention by authorities wreaks of PC.

Its time for the United States to act like the Piranha fish:

I'm sure the major networks will give this one full coverage, yeah right. They'll prolly spend more time coaxing self pitying crap from MSA and CAIR about Islamophobia than about this Islamic mass murder!

What I hear from people who know people in Jersey City's municipal government is that there has been an effort from day one to suppress the islamic factor in this heinous crime. Apparently they want to keep the truth of what they know from the people because they think it will cause undue hysteria and retribution. If this is true it is really disturbing that they are voluntarily doing CAIR's bidding.

The family is showing courage, which is to be commended. Evidence they are receiving wise counsel.

Following the aftermath of the slaughter, I am finding that national MSM coverage is limited to those vacuous AP stories we have been reading. Hopefully, the press conference will remove the investigation from the quagmire that is New Jersey politics. Hopefully it will position the family and community to counter possible pressure from the national government to quash the investigation for the sake of diplomacy.

Once again, my condolences to the family, I hope you find the justice you seek.

Lynne Stewart, the lawyer that helped the jihadi smuggle secret messages out of prison, has been found GUILTY. She looks a little "butch" so if the punishment really fits the crime, they will send her to a men's prison. Perhaps there she will see will see another side of Islam... meanwhile Islam will see another side of her: the inside.

They should send her to the prison her client is in. Or even better, send her to a prison in Egypt or Israel.

For those of you that say I never criticize "my" side, (even though I have again and again) perhaps this will make you see a little clearer.

So long as common sense remains the inheritance of a significant percentage of the population, efforts such as that which has been undertaken to suppress the obvious Islamic angle on the slayings will only serve to further pressurize the eventual explosion of popular vigilantism against Mohammedans in the US. This is nearly self-evident.

Or am I mistaken, having failed to recognize that the dhimmi consciouness is already our own?

The relatives of the Armanious family should be commended for their courage and outspokeness. This crime must not go unpunished or undeclared! It needs to be recognized as the religiously motivated crime that it is and addressed at the community and national level. The nation needs to show these criminals that Islamic intolerance and violence have no place in the United States.

The idea that CAIR can get away with interference in a horrific murder investigation just boggles my mind.

Have those who mouth off so much about the Middle East, such as Tom Friedman, been required to acquire any such knowledge, or are they allowed to continue as before ("When I was in Davos recently.." or "I tend to think" or "I call it the Friedman theory of politics" or "some Moroccon intellectuals I had dinner with..." Good God, fire these people, and start over. They simply are not up to it. They lack the intelligence, they are not used to studying, they are guides to nothing at all. Someone, somewhere, must realize that a brouhaha over Jason whatsisname which led to Howell Raines's resignation is completely trivial, compared to the greater irresponsiblity of not covering, or covering in an idiotic manner, Islam.

What is really surprising is, that the only major MSM that has published the murder of the Armanious family and the islamic connection, is The Daily Telegraph in Britain. The New York Times and the Washington Post are conspicuous by their silence.

This is very strange indeed, as this story should have been headline news in the US.

I can assure you that CAIR is already planning a counter-press release and will try to get it out before the update on the Islamic slaughter of Christians in America.

However, the disclaimer did not air in Canada during Global TV's broadcast and the Canadian branch of the Council on American-Islamic Relations wants that changed.
Rian Saloojee, head of the Ottawa-based CAIR, says he is asking Global to carry the Sutherland PSA or to produce something similar in this country. During the Fox PSA, Sutherland says that while terrorism is a critical challenge to America and the world, it is also important to know that the American Muslim community denounces and resists all forms of terrorism, too.

"So, in watching 24, please bear that in mind."

Saloojee concedes CAIR has not been as involved as its U.S. counterpart in the stereotype issue but the potential negative effect of the portrayal of American Muslims on 24 might also affect Canadian Muslims. "Much of the imagery and sometimes even the raw atmosphere in the United States does percolate down to Canada," he said.

Murder Fuels Rumors of Egyptian Involvement

The gruesome murder of a Coptic Egyptian family in New Jersey last month has fueled a whirlwind of accusations, with some hawkish commentators blaming Islamist radicals and some locals seeing the Egyptian government’s hand.

Hossam Armanious, 47, his wife and their two daughters were found bound and gagged at their home in Jersey City on January 14 with their throats slit and with several stab wounds.

Law enforcement authorities say they have found no evidence that religion motivated the killings and that they are considering robbery or a vendetta as a more likely cause. The results of the autopsy are expected to be released March 14.

Rafique Iscandar, a close friend of the Armanious family and the head of a local organization called the American Coptic Union, said he believed the Egyptian authorities were the likely culprits in an effort to expand abroad their repression against Copts, who make up about 10% of Egypt’s population.

While he did not offer evidence to support his claims, he added that Egyptian diplomats had pressured local families to tone down such complaints.

Magdi Shaker, a spokesman for the Egyptian mission to the United Nations, denied any government involvement and said American authorities had ruled out any religious motives.

In addition, the Hudson County prosecutor is looking into assertions about a possible link between the murders and hate e-mails posted on an Islamic Web site. The allegations were made in an article published last week in The New York Sun by Daveed Gartenstein-Ross, an analyst with the Investigative Project, a group run by terrorist expert Steven Emerson.

Gartenstein-Ross contends that the Web site, Barsyomat.com, tracked Christian users of an online chat room called on the Web site www.PalTalk.com, where participants use instant messaging, voice messaging and Web cameras, posting information on their whereabouts and even pictures.

Armanious was reportedly a frequent PalTalk debater, under the user name “I love Jesus,” and allegedly received a death threat two months before the slayings from another PalTalk user, according to the Sun report.

The authorities are investigating the Web site, which was run by a Jordanian until its Minnesota-based hosting company shut it down last week.

PalTalk is a New York city-based company founded in 1998, and providing a whole range of Web-based communication tools.

The site allegedly posted pictures of Armanious and his wife, with a comment referring to them, respectively, as a “filthy dog” and his “filthy wife” who “got what they deserved for their actions in America,” according to the article.

Iscandar cited the death by hanging of another Copt in Bayonne, N.J., a couple of months ago as a possible indication of an anti-Copt campaign waged by Cairo.

He said the police department did not mention in its report the fact that the victims’ throats were slit; the report referred only to the stabs. He said that the assailants had tried to cut the crosses tattooed on the family’s wrists.

In addition, he brushed aside the hypothesis of a vendetta as implausible since Armanious was not politically involved now or before he came to the United States 10 years ago. As to the robbery theory, he said that although some money was stolen, gold and a ring worth $3,500 were found.

He said Armanious had been laid off six months ago from a job at a local Marriott hotel but continued to work as a handyman. His wife was working at a post office.

“They were just normal people living a normal life,” he said.

I certainly do not because their coverage is not critical enough. I will not venture a guess as to why because that premise, as usual, will fall on deaf ears.

I am not talking about the mainstream media either. Aquaintances, family members and others who may offer a feigned ear do not want to hear these things.

It is interesting that the common US citizen is more interested in what is on reality TV than what might possibly become THEIR reality.

Will they wake up then? Possibly, but the run in their pants will precede that awareness.

It is indeed, unfortunate.

Dear American and Canadian friends: If you're worried about hate-crime and hate speech laws, monitor every liberal institution, leftist college professor, mosque, advocacy group, etc., and when they say something untrue and nasty about Christian fundamentalists("they're all racists"; "they're a threat to democracy", etc.)or "Zionists" (translated: Jews who remain in the countries of their birth), sue them under the hate speech laws.
