Seized Iraqi-Swede Christian Politician Appeals for Help

It seems as if there are elements in Iraq that don't want a party of Christians operating there. From Reuters, with thanks to Nicolei:

"I appeal to Sweden's King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, His Holiness the Pope, world Christian parties and the Association of Iraqi Muslim Clerics ... to work towards freeing me," Minas al-Yusifi, said in a video aired on Thursday.

The leader of Iraq's Christian Democrats was snatched three weeks ago by the Martyr al-Isawy Brigades whose name was on a black banner behind him during the video released by fighters.

He returned to Iraq two years ago to re-establish the party after seeking asylum in Sweden 20 years ago.

Please americans rescue him, I don´t want more catholics and christians deaths, it´s unfair, we want religous freedom.

If the American forces ion Iraq could effect such a rescue then they surely would do so.

Even better they would do so regardless of whether the victim was Catholic or not, Christian or not. The only criterion would be was the victim innocent or not. And there lies America's heartwarming greatness. Now only if such magnanimity could also be turned towards Darfur....

Bullshit. Ask the Chaldaean Christians of northern Iran, who were thrown to the Kurdish wolves - yes, those nice, democratic Kurds whom the Americans like so much. Or go back to the days of the election and find out, in this very blog, who it was that the electoral organization in the US intended to favour - placing the voting offices far from the large Iraqi Christian communities in the US and close to the Muslim ones. I'm not blaming Mr.Bush, but there are people below him, whether in Foggy Bottom or elsewhere, who have decided that the Christians are expendable.

It is so sad, these poor people plead for their lives only to die at the hands of these monsters. Mercy is seen as weakness. The Italian journalist's face haunts me.

Poor Man, a horrible fate! He must be regretting the years he was safe in Sweden. Am sure anyone with a heart would rescue him if they knew where he was regardless of religious beliefs. He is not the first to be taken and won't be the last.
These wicked thugs and head hackers should be shot on sight, unfortunately the near lawless state of Iraq just encourages every criminal there.

Voletti is a brother of my faith, and I suffer for him, is very sad, but my sadness is great too for other people, even the muslims in the mosques, yes I know that most of them are very anti-chirstian and anti-western but it´s sad that being killed, and I want that the Darfur situation resolve it, too, greetings

Muslims don't even know that they are fulfilling
the prophecies of Christ,Jesus predicted a "False-Prophet" would come promising Peace but would only bring suffering and wars upon more wars.
He also said "They hated me and they'll hate you"
to his followers,it's also written that "They will kill you thinking they are doing a service
for God",CAIR and their ilk are losing the fight
to absolve Islam from the recent wave of murders worldwide that are mainly self-professed "True" Muslims following Allah's orders.

So,who is correct Hooper, the 0.0008 percent of Muslims you speak for or the 99.9992 percent of the 1.2 billion outside of America.

beinging a muslim is a one way ticket to the vally of HAMON GOG
