Stuttgart. Starting with the 2006/07 school year, Islamic religious education will be offered at public schools in Baden-Wuerttemberg for the first time. According to Ali Demir, the chairman of the Islamic religious community, the lessons will be offered in German at about a dozen elementary schools. Lessons offered will be tied closely to the local Islamic communities and local politics. The teachers will be educators of Islamic faith already working in the teaching profession, who underwent additional training, according to Demir....There are about 70.000 elementary school students that are of Islamic faith in Baden-Wuerttemberg.

Tons of Turks in Stuttgart. It's like southern California, only signs are in German and Turkish instead of English and Spanish.

I welcome arguments as to WHY we should ignore what the Left is doing in out elementary schools, public schools and especially our colleges. Why is 'bandar' Bush more important than the minds of Millions of kids? Please do tell.

When a Muslim is arrested they demand openess and information about the accused,but when 19 Pakistani Sunni Muslim males were rounded up for Visa violation and deported,it was CAIR and the MCC that were outraged that these men had their information made public and it put them in danger when returning to Pakistan.
CAIR can't have it both ways,if they don't like Canada's Laws then they can set up a booth at the Airports and warn all the incoming Muslims to "Go Back" because their are too many non-Muslims here and your lives will be in danger.

That's 70,000 out of appx. 11,000,000 people who live in the State of Baden Wuerttemberg - not as high a percentage as you may have guessed, but still quite a lot.
So with "only" 70k out of 11 million, and this is the influence they have? Scary.
I thought religion was kept out of public schools? Is this not so in Germany? And will these classes be given to all kids - non-Muslims as well?
