Mexico attorney general says no sign of terrorism on U.S. border, pledges cooperation

From AP, with thanks to RB:

MEXICO CITY - As U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice arrived to meet Mexican leaders Thursday, Mexico's attorney general pledged cooperation against terrorism while dismissing reports of terrorist activity on the U.S.-Mexico border....

Attorney General Rafael Macedo de la Concha also reiterated Mexico's irritation at U.S. criticisms on crime, human rights, drug trafficking and security in Mexico. His remarks to a news conference at an anti-terrorism conference in Madrid were distributed to reporters in Mexico....

U.S. officials recently have expressed concerns that terrorists could slip across the vulnerable Mexican border into the United States, though they have said there is no evidence that has happened.

"Investigations we have conducted have shown that no such thing has occurred," Macedo said. "Under no circumstances will Mexico allow our national territory to be a refuge for terrorists."

Why, we would be ashamed even to think such a thing.

What a bunch of BS if I ever heard it. Drugs flow rampantly across the Mexican border day and night, drug warlords murder each other if someone gets in the way of their piplines to the U.S. tunnels are located each year in border cities for drugs and illegals, how did the MS-13 gangters get into the U.S.? Corruption is a way of life in Mexico. Remember the Mexico city earthquake, American and other foreign volunteers had to pay bribes to unload needed supplies at Mexico's airports to airport personal.

The only terrorism that exists on the border is the patrol which keeps humanity from sharing in the spoils which America so jealously guards.

What makes you think I haven't a job? What makes you think the Mexicans are unwilling to work? It certainly appears they engage in the lowly which most Americans would never consider.

Indeed! They do the sh*t work.

"sharing in the spoils which America so jealously guards"?!?!?! What the f...! Unlike the early Muslim bandits led by Muhammad, who plundered caravans and besieged villages, beheaded men, raped women, sold children to slavery, and divided up booty amongst themselves, the U.S. built its wealth through mostly civilized means, economic and technological progress.

The U.S. is in decline right now, both economically and morally. The rising star is China. The good news is China is nowhere near as politically correct as the U.S. The civilized West is too PC and gentle to handle the Muslims. They should let China deal with this problem instead. The Chinese will take the Qur'an "Wipe the infidels to the last" and implement it against the Muslims. Just think, if the Communist Mao wiped a hundred million of his own people, what they're going to do to the Muslims...

Insh'allah that it happens soon.

It is interesting that this "stone age" inhabitant is using the exact sames means to convey my opinions as the English "expert" with whom I am now engaged.

The Arabs brought the world the most important agenda to the table: Islam.

Everything else is incidental.

Ablution is extremely important for a Muslim.

"Investigations we have conducted have shown that no such thing has occurred," Macedo said. "Under no circumstances will Mexico allow our national territory to be a refuge for terrorists."

WHEW! Boy, I am SO RELIEVED!

The American government should be made aware, if it not already, of the strenuous efforts being made at Da'wa in certain Latin American countries. This is done slowly, and the tentacles extend very wide and deep. It is happening, for example, in Argentina, where Da'wa also is attractively aimed at those who already have reason to find Islam attractive (antisemites are always ready). In Brazil, there are some promoters of Da'wa who present themselves as "Christians" who then, once an audience has been attracted to attend, go into the usual routine -- slowly, cleverly -- about Christianity really being an imperfect form of Islam, and so on (some of these people have even been known to appear in places like Connecticut -- they have to be monitored).

Of course, all support should be given to Christian missionaries, and governments alerted. There are the well-known pockets of Arabs -- as in the region where Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil all meet. But there are also curious links with "Christian Palestinians" and even some Lebanese (who should be made to understand that their ancestors fled Islam, and may have been Arabic-speaking but were not Arabs, so that they identify not with Islam but with those, including those ancestors, who suffered the same fate as all non-Muslims did, do, and will, under Islamic rule).

Think of Chile, where there are high up in the fruit exportation to the United States some "Palestinians"; think of how the large-scale shipment of fruit allows for other things to be shipped, and how this entire area needs investigation. The working assumption should be that all Muslims, and all those Arab immigrants who identify with Islamic hostility (which can include, not Copts and Maronites, but a number of "Palestinian Christians" have fallen into the "islamochristian" trap, out of a failure tho think through what Islam means for all Christians, including the Arabic-speaking ones).

There is much to monitor, investigate, and bring to the attention of Latin American governments whose security services may not be sufficiently aware of the Islamic Da'wa threat, or who may complacently assume that it only the Colossus of the North that will suffer. In the first place, that Colossus would naturally have to restrict, or hamper with all sorts of monitoring, trade and immigration from Latin America if it became clear that this was a route for Islamic infiltration. But even if that infiltration were to be stopped, the United States and Latin American governments have a stake in preventing the conduct of Da'wa, if it is understood, rightly, as leading only, as it has everywhere in the Lands of the Infidels, to a situation that is more unpleasant, expensive (for monitoring and guarding against), and dangerous. Once that is understood -- that any increase in a Muslim population inevitably creates a situation, for Infidels, that is more unpleasnat, expensive, and dangerous, then whatever one's own beliefs, all non-Muslms have a stake in limiting Da'wa, ending Muslim migration, and making the political, economic, and social environment as unaccomodating, and even hostile, to Islam as possible. Ignorance of the theory and practice of Islam is the main barrier to adopting the most sensible and obvious of counter-measures to protect Infidels from a threat they are not obliged to accomodate, much less create the conditions in which that threat can grow.

The best thing you can say about Mexico is that it is somewhat less corrupt than Nigeria.

More seriously, the following article notes that sons of Allah are spending time in Mexico to learn Spanish so they can blend in with the thousands who enter illegally every day.

http://www.nbc4.tv/newslinks/3901282/detail.html

"We know for a fact that people coming from the Middle East are now coming into Mexico and spending a year, even two years in Mexico, to learn how to speak Spanish," the Border Patrol agent told NBC4.

"The key is to pass yourself off as a Mexican," said retired Army Colonel Ben Anderson.

Hugh is very obviously correct...just look what happened to the Euro's, colonized and infiltrated by jihadists & violent muslims. I wonder what it costs them on a per annum basis to monitor those dangerous people???

Of course, allowing infiltration and illegal immigration by the intelligence community and hoping as a result there would be an incident with loss of life would give us the needed leverage against, guess who?, the sick liberals.
How's that for a conspiracy??

The Mexican government is desperate to keep the flow of people coming north, they remit billions of dollars back to the moribund Mexican economy. Witness the "Guide to the Mexican Migrant" pamphlet produced by the Government of Mexico and circulated at Mexican embassies throughout the US! Or foreign minister Debrez'
threat to take Arizona's Prop 200 to international court (of course, you have to have proof of citizenship to vote in Mexico).

They will continue to obfuscate and delay about border security, but the truth is that they will do as little as possible. No matter what the diploweenies suggest! Under Bush, there will be no hard line with our "good friends" in Mexico unless we hold the feet of our elected reps to the fire.

However, there are some steps that be taken to help the situation. One is the "Citizenship Reform Act of 2005", that will deny citizenship to children of illegals. Call your House rep and tell them you want them as a cosponser!
Join Tom Tancredo's Immigration Reform PAC.
Tell your Senators you want them to pass the Real ID Act as written. Send money to support the Minuteman Project, a non violent border monitoring action this April (the ACLU and Debrez are threatening US citizens to ensure that the rights of illegals are protected).
Go to the "Hold their feet to the fire" rally in DC this April! It's time for the squeaky wheels to get squeaking, folks. Our elected reps are not doing their jobs and are putting us all at risk. They need to be held accountable.

Abu Wahab:

Sallaam Aleikum! Welcome to the global Jihad!
May Allah sprinkle you daily with golden showers!
May Allah always provide plenty of camel dung for ablution!

Your wisdom is much appreciated!

"The only terrorism that exists on the border is the patrol which keeps humanity from sharing in the spoils which America so jealously guards."-

I feel for you!

A proper Muselman must not be prevented from 'sharing the spoils'- would you mind to explain what makes you think you are entitled to 'sharing the spoils?'

Sheik Yer'mami sends his regards! & FU2

Why answer to Wahabite? He is either a troll or a froll - lovely neologism, that. Leave him alone. There is no advantage in responding to him and no way to alter his monosyllabic views.

ON the matter of Mexico, what I find sinister is not so much that the country's Attorney General should speak in a way that really says - I have no intention of recognizing there is a problem, so piss off. Only a moron would seriously deny that there is a major problem with corruption and organized crime in the country; by making that kind of comment, the Attorney General, the country's chief law-enforcement officer, does not so much try to lie as tell us that as far as he is concerned things are perfectly fine just the way they are, that he sees nothing on the national landscape to combat. In other word, he is happy to live with corrupt state workers and organized criminals who suck the country's wealth from its veins. This is a truly sinister reflection on the Mexican governing class; independently even of their attitude to Muslim aggression, it tells us all we need to know about their willingness to collaborate with the US or any country in enforcing any law.

Paolo~ I agree. Altho I am surprised, muslim trolls usually come in pairs- and usually on the weekend. Guess that makes them Weekend Jihadists- The rest of the week they are probably kicking back on welfare in whatever country they've immigrated to, swilling beer and having a healthy helping of pork rinds.

This is the biggest bunch of BS I have heard in many a year. Those of us who live along the border do not go out without side-arms. Most is for protection against drug dealers who would as soon kill you as look at you, some is protection against human trafficers (coyotes) and some is from Arab infiltrators who speak Spanish and use this open area to infiltrate. Allow? Mexico as well as the United States has lost all control over its borders, for that matter Canada (I've heard) is not that much better.

Yes I am a troll or a froll, if you prefer.

The bottom line is that many posters here are impressionable, easy and downright predictable.

The outcome of the experiment met with positive results.

This is just more of Bush's do nothing about the criminal invasion coming across our borders, while pretending He cares.

This is also an issue that threatens to divide the Republican Party to no end.

What’s just as ridiculous is the wahabite pretending to care about the Infidel Catholics from Mexico, when their teachings are all about killing the Infidels.

Just another defective example of the lack in synapse processing power afflicting anyone who studies Middle Eastern Studies for too long, that is, provided they had any of it to begin with.

Middle Eastern Studies, what a concept. Must be terribly complicated to understand that whole Muslim Evolutionary transitionary thing from old world Cro-Magnon to Modern Day Neanderthal?

I hope you don't mind when many of US reciprocate in kind to you Wahhabis, with the same Respect & Tolerance you Preach towards US infidels, everyday.

'The outcome of the experiment met with positive results.'~ wahbite
Yes. It proved You are a failure.

Gary,

What it proves is that you, and many others, have been duped by the written word of another.

The success of this experiment shows that mankind is easily bamboozled by hyperbole.

Do you always believe what you read?

I believe that you haven't the Guts to argue any issue raised on this site, wahabbi.

Oh btw, wahabbi? I have read the Koran. I sure as Hell do not believe that. Answer your question?

Hahaha!!

The success of islam shows how mankind is easily bamboozled through deception, murder, bribery, coercion and slavery. Not to mention the ridiculous and pathetic notions and ideas of allah/mohammod.

Other then being vaguely aware that Carly Fiorina believed in all sorts of spectacular inspirational displays of the kind that the make-money-in-real-estate-with-no-money-down conmen enjoy so much, I had no strong opinion of Carly Fiorina other than the usual contempt that such figures deserve. But that was before I clicked on the link given above at 3:26 p.m. to a letter written by Peter BetBasoo. The link is:

http://www.ninevehsoft.com/fiorina.htm).

BetBasoo's excellent letter takes issue with a series of baseless assertions made by Fiorina in a speech she delivered on September 26, 2001. It was clear that she accepts commonplaces, because that saves her the trouble of doing any investigation or questioning of received opinion -- received opinion of the cheapest kind. Fiorina's quoted remarks about the "achievements" of Arab-Muslim civilization, each one of them either flatly untrue, or at least misleading, demonstrates that this is not someone who can think for herself. And no doubt her special-effects shows for hapless employees, designed to rouse the troops, with its surpassing vulgarity that she must have thought was a substitute for the application of intelligence, have some connection to this display of mind -- or lack of it.

Was not Fiorina given publicity because she had majored in some real subject -- medieval history, I vaguely recall -- and then aggressively went straight, like Willie Sutton, to where the money is, and became some kind of supposed "success story" to be emulated.

Well, Peter BetBasoo has dismantled her speech, stupidity by stupidity. Whether she was as cavalier with the facts in her running of Hewlett-Packard is unknown to me. Perhaps others have inside knowledge.

Thanks Hugh for reading the article.

Earlier, I had an email conversation with the author and he was pleased when I informed him that I posted the link to his article on JihadWatch.

I read this response to Ms. Fiorina's speech several years ago and liked it so much, I saved it. It comes in handy for refuting the ridiculous delusions of muslims, many of whom seem to believe that Spain is rightfully theirs and the Crusades happened last week. Forcibly driving the muslims out of Spain was a brilliant move on the part of the Spaniards. They should seriously consider a repeat performance.

Paolo -

"Why answer to Wahabite? ... Leave him alone. There is no advantage in responding to him and no way to alter his monosyllabic views."

The fight between Wahabite & shangalla was really funny, that's good enough reason for me. I say let's debate with them - we know our case is flawless. They always end up shooting themselves in the foot anyway. They make some statement, then they receive a very good answer, for which they have no real reply - then they vanish.

Of course Wahabite is a moron - not just because he is a Muslim. Why can't the USA decide upon its immigration policy like any other country? Since when have the more wealthy Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia or Malaysia had an open door policy to tens of millions of impoverished African and Bangladeshi Muslims? The guy is just a troublemaking hypocrite, like all Muslims. Let them make fools of themselves here - if Mr. Spencer thinks it's OK, I'm cool with it.

Wahabi

"The outcome of the experiment met with positive results."

You're a cretin - tell us something that proves you have got an IQ above 25.

Hugh

That's not fair Hugh - you're usually sharp, but not on this one. As far as Islamists are concerned Latin America has far more to fear from the USA than the USA has to fear from Latin America. Who has the biggest Muslim population in the Americas? You do. A Latin American has a hard job getting a US visa, but any US citizen can get into almost any Latin American country without complications. Hence, the USA is the true Islamist threat in the Americas. In a country like Uruguay (which I know very well) or Bolivia, or Honduras... how many Muslims do you think there are? A thousand – two thousand, tops. In the US - 5 million! Geez, who are you pointing the finger at?
