What kind of God? "Video Shows Crash Survivor Was Executed," from Fox News:
BAGHDAD — A crew member on board the helicopter that crashed north of Baghdad apparently survived, only to be shot to death by insurgents, a video shows.
The video, purportedly shot and posted online by the Islamic Army in Iraq, tracks the helicopter as it turns into a fireball and careens toward the ground as gunmen run toward the crash site. The group claimed responsibility for shooting down the Mi-8 chopper, on which all on board — six Americans, three Bulgarians and two Fijians — were killed.
The video begins with an unseen cameraman breathing heavily and running with the camera toward burning wreckage. Two bodies are visible, one of them severely charred, nearly all its clothes burned away.
"Look at that filth," someone says in Arabic....The video then shows a man in a pilot's uniform — presumably one of the Bulgarian crewmen — lying on the ground, arms outstretched and asking for help.
One of the insurgents begins barking orders at the injured man, yelling in accented English, "Stand up! Stand up!"
"I can't, it's broken," the man pleads, holding up his hands.
It appears the militants help pull him to his feet.
"Weapons?" the gunmen shout at him in Arabic.
The cameraman tells the crewman, whose face is visible, to step back.
"Go! Go!" he shouts.
The man eventually begins walking away. Moments later, the insurgents say something to make him turn around.
"Carry out God's verdict," one of the gunmen says.The insurgents open fire on him, shouting "Allahu akbar!" or "God is great!"
In their Web statement, the Islamic Army in Iraq said it killed the surviving crewman "in revenge for the Muslims killed in the mosques of Fallujah." It apparently referred to the Nov. 13 shooting of a wounded Iraqi by an American soldier in a Fallujah mosque during a U.S. offensive in the city....
FNC said that the man who was executed was a Bulgarian and was the pilot of the helicopter. Very sad, but at least he didn't have his head slowly sawed off.

I dont think you can say that the unreliability of Mi8s per say was one of the reasons it went down. Any chopper flying that low is a fairly easy target especially if they had a heat guided missile, it never stood a chance.

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — An Army sergeant charged in a deadly grenade attack on his comrades wrote in his diary that his fellow soldiers were mistreating him, and that once he was sent to Iraq, "I am going to try and kill as many of them as possible," a jury was told Thursday.
An FBI agent read four passages to the 15-member jury before the prosecution rested its case in the court-martial of Sgt. Hasan Akbar (search). His lawyers are scheduled to begin calling witnesses in their insanity defense Monday.
Akbar, a Muslim convert, is accused of ambushing his fellow soldiers in their tents at an encampment in Kuwait in March 2003, during the opening days of the Iraq war. Two U.S. officers were killed.
"I suppose they want to punk me or just humiliate me. Perhaps they feel that I will not do anything about that. They are right about that. I am not going to do anything about it as long as I stay here. But as soon as I am in Iraq, I am going to try and kill as many of them as possible."
Another entry said: "I will have to decide to kill my Muslim brothers fighting for Saddam Hussein (search) or my battle buddies. I am hoping to get into a position so I don't have to take any crap from anyone anymore."
Elsewhere, he wrote: "I may not have killed any Muslims, but being in the Army is the same thing. I may have to make a choice very soon on who to kill."
The entries were found on a computer Akbar had put in a rented storage unit near Fort Campbell (search) in Kentucky before he was sent off to the Middle East with fellow members of the 101st Airborne Division.

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — An Army sergeant was convicted Thursday by a military jury of premeditated murder and attempted murder in a grenade and rifle attack that killed two of his comrades and wounded 14 others in Kuwait during the opening days of the Iraq war.
Hasan Akbar (search), 34, now faces a possible death penalty, which the same 15-member jury will consider at a hearing that begins Monday.
Prosecutors say Akbar told investigators he launched the attack because he was concerned U.S. troops would kill fellow Muslims in Iraq. They said he coolly carried out the attack to achieve "maximum carnage" on his comrades in the 101st Airborne Division (search).
The verdict came after only 21/2 hours of deliberations following seven days of testimony in the court-martial — the first time since the Vietnam era that an American has been prosecuted on charges of murdering a fellow soldier during wartime.
Akbar stood at attention as the verdict was read by the colonel who headed the jury panel, biting his lip but giving no other outward sign of emotion. Defense attorneys acknowledged that Akbar carried out the attack, but argued he was too mentally ill to have premeditated it and was fueled by emotion.
Killed in the middle-of-the-night attack were Army Capt. Christopher Seifert (search), 27, who was shot in the back, and Air Force Maj. Gregory Stone (search), 40, who suffered 83 shrapnel wounds. The 101st was preparing to move into Iraq in support of the U.S. invasion when the attack occurred on March 22, 2003.
"Sgt. Akbar executed that attack with a cool mind," prosecutor Capt. Robert McGovern said during closing arguments, cocking Akbar's unloaded M-4 rifle and pulling the trigger twice for emphasis. "He sought maximum carnage."
The mothers of the slain soldiers wept during closing arguments as prosecutors flashed pictures of their dead bodies on a screen. When a prosecutor pointed at Akbar, nearly yelling that he was responsible, Akbar sipped from a coffee mug. The mothers declined to comment after the verdict, as did Akbar's parents.
Defense attorney Maj. Dan Brookhart countered that Akbar was concerned the invasion of Iraq would result in the deaths of Muslims and that U.S. soldiers would rape Iraqi women. Akbar's father issued a statement this week saying his son was the source of harassment by fellow soldiers because he is a Muslim.

I don't get the idea that the MI-8 crewman was murdered in retaliation for the killing, by a Marine, of just one thug in a single mosque.
Whomever the journalist was who filed the story stated the following:

And Shukri, I think you missed it, too. You are personally trying to justify that man's murder, not based upon what the killers actually said (if the journalist got that part right), but upon your own misread of the journalists assumption.
They killed that man, in my opinion, in revenge for all of the thugs that Coalition Forces killed during that referenced Fallujah operation. And do pleas note, Allah's boys were killed, because they had turned mosques into military sites.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- The U.S. military said Task Force Baghdad soldiers arrested eight people Saturday whom it suspects of shooting down a commercial helicopter Thursday.
The military said in a release that an "Iraqi civilian helped Task Force Baghdad soldiers find" eight people, who were being questioned in the crash that resulted in the deaths of 11 people on board.
Six American security contractors, two Bulgarian crew members and two Fijian security guards were killed in the crash.
A Bulgarian crew member who survived the crash was shot to death, according to the Bulgarian company that owned the helicopter.
The helicopter was flying from Baghdad to the northern city of Tikrit when it went down just north of the capital.
A news release from Task Force Baghdad said an "Iraqi citizen told the soldiers he knew where the blue Kia pickup truck the terrorists used during the attack was parked and led them to the site.
"When the soldiers got there, several other local residents confirmed the first tip and showed the soldiers where the terrorists lived."
Soldiers searched two houses at 12:30 a.m. The military said troops captured three men and bomb-making materials at one house, and three more men suspected of making bombs at a second home -- but it did not specify where the houses were.
The Americans who were killed in the crash worked for North Carolina-based Blackwater Security Consulting USA. Friday, the company released the names of the employees who died.

Everything in Islam bears the hallmark of Satan - the endless references to hellfire (Allah seems to know far more about hell than heaven); the emphasis on submission, punishment and fear instead of hope, forgiveness and love; the most unholy prophet the world has ever seen; the lies, deceptions and yet more lies; the homicidal rage aimed at those who leave Islam; the spiritual insecurity of Muslims who murder Christian missionaries. Criticizing Islam is like performing an exorcism. You know venomous anger and death threats will immediately follow. The only thing missing is the projectile vomit and head spinning.

Ultimately, my point is that moral relativism does not equate to moral clarity. Dismissing the murder of the injured captive in this incident as justifiable on account of other people's actions would be similar to me dismissing the United States nuking every major Muslim population center in the world because a bunch of Wahhabi miscreants destroyed part of Lower Manhattan.

It is amazing to me that you would expect the United States to live up to the so-called "rules of engagement", while excusing your countryfolk from following the same rules.
If Islam is a religion of peace, where is the compassion?

As for me and mine, after watching some of your murder videos, (don't think for an instant that just because our news media has failed to show us the TRUE face of Islam, that the American people have not seen the blood lust of your CULT), we will never again be able to trust this so-called religion of peace, and those that lap up the blood of the aftermath!
