A Baptist pastor and evangelist was found beheaded in Jalalpur, a village in the district of Khulna, south-western Bangladesh on 8th March and the murder was confirmed recently, according to AsiaNews.it.The 35-year-old pastor from the Bangladesh Free Baptist Church, Dulal Sarkar, was believed to have been killed by Muslim extremists who had threatened his family because he discussed his faith with some Muslim villagers.
According to AsiaNews.it, Pastor Sarkar, who served as a guard and general caretaker for the local church, had attempted to evangelise Muslim villagers and brought them to his church to talk with the senior pastor.
The murder occurred on 8th March on his way home after he talked to some Muslim villagers. He was reported to have been attacked by group of armed men. Sources say that it was a group of ten local Muslim extremists who later "separated his head from his body", AsiaNews.it wrote.
Immediately after the murder, Pastor Sarkar’s wife filed a police report. Currently, seven out of the ten suspects are still free, according to AsiaNews.it. Local Christians believed that they are connected with the Jamaat-e-Islami political party and even tried to bribe the police to get the three detained members out of jail.
Let's hope someone in Australia is taking notes, because it will be the Australians who will find themselves on the frontline of what I suggest is the inevitable global conflagration that is already upon us. More than a thousand years of history tells us so.

They do so love to rant and rave about tiny persecutions against them, but enjoy even more to downplay the plight and suffering of others, especially if the blame is on them.

Did anyone notice the other article on that site, about Christians in India who were attacked and beaten by Indian Muslims for the "crime" of attending a showing of The Passion of the Christ?
Well, that's all in the 'defence' of Islam, what else?
And what are we doing to defend ourselves against them? Very, very little...

Muslims DEMAND respect and tolerance in the West, and usually that is what they get. But they have little or no concept of respecting others. Aa a tiny example, re Pak/Bang I found these posts in the Lonely Planet website:

Not many people are I think. The government keeps on putting 2 and 2 together and making 2 and half. They seem to prefer Muslims who hate the West and want to plunder the social security system rather than immigrants who would like to make any form of contribution. They do not see the disproportionate amount of crime and unemployment amongst Muslims here as anything to with their backward barbarian culture. I work with a practicing Muslim guy in here in Sydney, he exclaims "oh Jesus!" "Christ!" etc., at a nearby desk, ten times a day. I told him that if I showed similar disrespect for Islam in a Muslim country I would be beaten up, deported, killed or imprisoned, and yet here he was in a Christian country taking the Lord's name in vain. He didn't get it. He thought I was joking. Like I say, respect is a one-way street for Muslims.
