A Muslim who made more than 90 phone calls threatening to kill, rape and blow up Jews has been spared jail.A judge said treatment was the best way to protect the public from Riaz Burahee, of Edmonton, north London, who suffers from paranoid schizophrenia.
He was given a three-year community rehabilitation order for committing the greatest number of racially motivated offences by one person.
Burahee, 25, told victims he would rape their children and bomb buildings.
'Delusions of persecution'
At Wood Green Crown Court on Monday, judge Diane Faber said: "It is plain from the reports that you committed these offences while mentally ill suffering symptoms of paranoid schizophrenia, experiencing delusions of persecution by Jewish people."
I wonder how he could have developed such a strange malady. Has anyone checked the content of the sermons at his local mosque?
At an earlier hearing, Burahee admitted 10 offences involving communicating false information about a bomb and racially aggravated harassment.The defendant described himself as a Muslim with strong religious beliefs who had no links to terrorism.
Of course. What Muslim has links to terrorism?
Photographs of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden were later found at Burahee's home.Simon Wiltshire, defending, told the court Burahee's behaviour originated from his illness, for which he is now receiving medication.
He said: "He realises the effect of those phone calls. It is perhaps the first glimmer of possibility that the medication is beginning to assist Mr Burahee in moderating his more extreme
beliefs."...
I don't think medication is going to do the job.
Perhaps not jail, but he must be confined somewhere for public safety purposes.
The British Ministry of Health has anounced that will provide a label for each Q'ran located in British territory, with the sentence:
WARNING: Q'RAN READING IS DANGEROUS TO HEALTH AND MAY CAUSE PARANOID SCHIZOFRENIA AND OTHER BRAIN DAMAGES.

I actually agree that medication is the answer here. Only if the medication happens to be cyanide that is. (Yes Hugh, this will come to an end. JHVH is still sovereign).
Actually by strange coincidence, almost the same verdict was reached in Australia yesterday!
A jihadist was found not guilty and released, despite masses of evidence.
He was mentally unstable and his acts were deemed to be caused by psycholigical trauma based on dreams!
perhaps this will now develop into the standard defence of Jihad lawyers internationally.
Islam renders all muslims unstable, but that doesn't mean they don't know what they're doing when they engage in their holiest of holy pasttimes--jihad/terrorism.
The future looks very bleak for the evil white man, oppressor of minorities; plunderer of the world's wealth and resources; progeny of evil Christians and Western Civilization. The powerful, elite, self-hating judiciary have sealed our fates and it appears that there is nothing we can do about it. If a white, Christian male had committed the same outrageous acts as this crazed muslim, intoxicated by the Qur'an and high on Islam, he would have been punished to the max.
Yeah, he's crazy all right and his insanity is epidemic. Nine out of ten muslims share his psychosis, they just haven't been caught in the act yet. Judges are supposed to be wise, experienced jurists and part of their job is to protect the public from dangerous criminals. Yet they condone or ignore the terroristic behavior of muslims every day, consistently ruling in favor of muslim immigrants over indigenous citizens. How many examples of aberrant, felonious behavior must Western judges witness before they realize that Islam spawns homicidal maniacs? You would think after 9-11 and two or three daily car/suicide bombings and/or beheadings in Iraq they would already have a clue.

The wierdest case similar to the ones above that I've ever heard of was this guy in Saudi Arabia. He had no medication whatsoever so, as you can imagine, he got very odd very fast.
Apparently he used to throw these epileptic fits, swear he'd climbed a mountain and talked to an angel, who was supposed to be passing on a message from God. He'd talk on and off to this angel with every fit, and the angel kept changing 'God's' message. Wierdest thing.
I wonder what ever happened to him? I think he was a merchant of some kind; dealt in livestock I think.
