Oh, and material from which to make pipe bombs (it's in the airbags). But of course, authorities assure us that this has nothing to do with terrorism. From the New York Post, with thanks to LGF:
April 27, 2005 -- Firefighters found more than 200 vehicle airbags believed to be stolen in the back room of a Brooklyn supermarket, where newspaper clippings about Osama bin Laden and beheadings in Iraq covered the walls, authorities said. The firefighters from Ladder Co. 123 conducting a routine inspection, discovered the air bags — which sell for about $750 to $1,000 each — at the Superior Food Market at 1503 St. John's Place in Crown Heights....
Authorities, however, did not believe they had stumbled onto a terrorist cell, even though the room contained some materials that could be used to fashion pipe bombs, sources said.....
Audeh Hamdan of Brooklyn owns the three-story building, which has 11 outstanding code violations on file with the city, records show.
Hamdan, 53, of Brooklyn, served jail time in the late 1970s and early 1980s for arson, reckless endangerment, weapons possession and conspiracy, according to the records. He could not be reached for comment.
If he ends up being charged with anything, you can be sure that we will hear how quiet, pious, and devout he is, and how inconceivable it is that he could have been involved with anything remotely resembling terrorism -- and that it is only the racism and hysteria of the American authorities that is causing all his troubles.

Perhaps not a cell, but a funding source. Like the North Carolinian jihadis who ran a cigarette smuggling ring for Hamas, this sounds like a blackmarket-parts-for-terrorists set up.
Or just a group of pious, quiet Muslim fans who happen to live in a country that provides the most personal freedoms in the world...

LOL. What a very credible allegation. The NY Post seems to have to rely on the ignorance and bigottedness of it's readers in order to create a climate of fear.

Darn, Hassan should stop renting out his facilities for those dratted Sunday School Classes if it's gonna cause this much trouble.

I wonder if there might be something suspicous in your house...hmmm I wonder...
Ok boys and girls, all of the current Allahisms have been posted at:

Abbas Appoints New Security Agency Chief - Ibrahim Barzak (AP/Washington Post)
The Daily Alert site posts these snippets on PA terrorist-one's (Abbas) appointment at his Preventive Security Service. Speaks for itself. Get Daily Alert by sending a blank e-mail to this address:

Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday named Rashid Abu Shbak as the new head of the Preventive Security Service, in charge of reining in militants.

In November 2000, a bomb targeted a school bus just outside the Jewish settlement of Kfar Darom in the Gaza Strip, killing two adults and maiming three children for life. Israeli security sources accused Rashid Abu Shbak of preparing the bomb. (Jerusalem Report)
Among the Fatah leaders in Gaza, Rashid Abu Shbak is playfully dubbed the "father of mortars," as he had patronized mortar manufacturing in the resistance. (Frontline-India)
Rashid Abu Shbak is wanted by Israel for his personal involvement in terrorist attacks that have led to the murder of Israelis. (Jerusalem Post)
After the handover of Gaza and Jericho to the PA, Rashid Abu Shbak referred to pre-1967 Israel when he told Yediot Ahronot on May 29, 1994: "The light which has shone over Gaza and Jericho will also reach the Negev and the Galilee." (Ministry of Foreign Affairs)

Abu Shbak is responsible for a ruthless campaign against at least 100 suspected "collaborators" in the Gaza Strip, and among many Palestinians is known as the "collaborator hunter."
Head of the Preventive Security Service (PSS) in the Gaza Strip for the past three years, he would now also be in charge of the PSS in the West Bank.
Earlier this year, Israel agreed to remove Abu Shbak from its list of wanted terrorists as a goodwill gesture toward Abbas.
"The appointment of Abu Shbak as commander of the Preventative Security Service in the West Bank will create many problems," said a top Fatah operative in Ramallah.
"I don't think many of the security members in the West Bank will accept a commander from the Gaza Strip."

Something's wrong with your "allahisms" link.

He is a convicted arsonist slum lord with a gun; now they find him with pictures of Binnie in his basement and bomb making material, but "he cannot be reached for comment". I'm sure he's on his way to Saudi by now.
Excuse me, but if police came to my business and found photos of binnie on the walls and the materials needed to construct a bomb, my arse would be UNDER the jail. "Don't piss off the stinking muslims".
I need to take my Dammitol Pill.
Yes, of course, Shurki: everyone has pipes and bags of gunpowder lying around. Why, I can't even walk around my bathroom without admiring the little bunnies I sculpted from C4.
Could you explain exactly how this report lacks credibility?
Osama bin Laden clippings, beheading posters, air transport bags, materials for bombs, previous convictions for illegal weapons possession and so for...you know, perhaps you're right, Shurki. Maybe he's really quite a typical islamicist after all.
My apologies.
Geoff
We need more than a climate of fear we need a climate of hostility, mistrust, ridicule and expulsion .
You want to replace the constitution with the idiotic Quran I want to replace you with a distant memory.
Your future is behind you.
Moot not mute

The lack of definition means that the writer can make the article appear to portray whatever they want it to portray.
However did you conjure up this one?
Could you explain exactly how this report lacks credibility?

Shukri, you dooface.... They didn't find flower pots, they found posters of your hero binnie and of people being beheaded.. Of course, in islam, these items could easily be mistaken for flower pots. Since binnie is full of fertilizer, I will give you that much
Binnie poster = fertilizer
Could the poster be used to make a pipe bomb? Hell, who knows... you muslims are capable of about anything right about now!
Shukri, where did we get the idea that islam intends to replace the Constitution with the qur'an:
http://www.usdoj.gov/ag/manualpart1_1.pdf
Read it...it is clear in this manual, to remove the godless regimes and replace them with islam as the prophet foretold (according to the writers of this al-qaeda manual)
We didn't dream up the threat to our way of life, the jihadis are screaming at the top of their lungs, those in power only need to open their ears.
The whole manual can be accessed here:

How dare we offend the righteous muslims. Didn't you know, only the white man is bad, and if it isn't the white man committing the crime then the story goes away very quickly
Listen to Shukri very carefully and you will understand the practice of lies, deceit and over all double speak that is practiced
This isn't rocket science. If it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, well, you know the rest. Thus, there is no climate of fear being made because it would be stupid to overlook the obvious and come to other conclusions.

I guess you missed the part about the articles on OBL and beheadings in Iraq that were covering the walls...

Speaking of fertilizer...sniff sniff - anyone else smell BS?
Me: Could you explain exactly how this report lacks credibility?
Shurki: "If I find a metal pipe and a flower pot with fertilizer in your home, I have found material that could be used to make a pipe bomb.

Gee, I guess it would depend also on how many Osama bin Laden and beheading posters I had, or how many previous convictions for weapons offenses, arson, "reckless endangerment" (read: pointing guns at people, most likely), CONSPIRACY, and so forth. Some people pin Beckham posters to the wall, but some people's tastes run in...other directions.
Then again, it's clear you didn't really read the article:
"Authorities, however, did not believe they had stumbled onto a terrorist cell, even though the room contained some materials that could be used to fashion pipe bombs, SOURCES SAID..... " [my emphasis]
Sources said, Shurki. Not the NYT. Sources. Cops, firemen, etc. But maybe you consider them lacking in credibility also?
I guess you might - are you a "gardnener" yourself, by any chance?
Geoff

It's "bigotry," by the way, Shukri dear. And here's what the dictionary has to say about a bigot:
bigot
big·ot (plural big·ots) noun
intolerant person: somebody who has very strong opinions, especially on matters of politics, religion, or ethnicity, and refuses to accept different views.
Encarta® World English Dictionary © & (P) 1999
That defines me, all right! I am intolerant of Islam, and I will not accept different views of it.
The murder and mayhem which are religiously permissible in Islam--that is, for which Islam grants moral authority--are what create the bigotry, contempt, and disdain for the Islamic movement and everything it subsumes.
I think it's somewhere between laughable and pathetic that someone should come to this site, with what may be the single largest population of people who are well acquainted with Islam, and make statements like Shukri's. I mean, what more evidence does one need for the damage Islam does to the mind?

Muslims think we are a bunch of gullible fools with a cursory knowledge of their divine death cult. As you know, only muslims can truly understand Islam, and who are we to tell them what they believe? They haven't yet deduced the obvious---we believe what we see. And what we see are people portraying the doctrine of Islam, a doctrine that cannot be hidden or denied, although they try very hard to obfuscate and deceive the ignorant kafirs.
If they call us bigots, racists, and hatemongers long enough, they think we'll shut up. I'll never shut up.
