From the SITE Institute, with thanks to the Constantinopolitan Irredentist:
A message posted on the internet to an al-Qaeda affiliated website concerning the current preparations for mujahideen in Iraq to travel to Saudi Arabia to “clear the land of al-Haramain (Saudi Arabia) from al-Saud and their masters (the Americans).”...According to the posting, “the country of the two rivers has plenty of the lions of the mujahideen…[to] clean our sacred country from al-Saud, the hypocrites and the masters, the crusaders.”
Praising the members of al-Qaeda in Saudi Arabia the communiqué says “the mujahideen in Arab peninsula did their duty until their blood was shed in the sake of Allah and they were killed for keeping this religion and fulfilling what the Prophets have said.”...
Between a rock and a hard place comes to mind in this situation.
Do i want to see the evil saudi royals killed only to be replaced with another unknown evil?
Why am I not surprised?
Let us suppose that the Muslims begin to homicide-bomb themselves into oblivion over who is going to control the two holy cities of Mecca and Medina. What's wrong with that?
All the oil is in the northeast. What a coincidence, the United States now has all the military assets positioned in the region to secure the production (Thirty-Year Itch). If the Hijaz erupted into a suicidal frenzy, so what? The U.S. could set up a perimeter around the oil fields and declare them to be held "in trust" for whoever the UN might decide in future are entitled to the mineral rights.
The Chinese especially would welcome long-term production stability as they now import more than 25 percent of their energy needs. Of course the Chinese would not be too happy about the United States having their hand on the pump but at least they know that they can deal with the United States diplomatically. It sure as hell would beat having to deal with the tribal simians who possess it now.
I have maintained for some time that it was a huge strategic error on the part of the West to extend mineral rights to the Bedouin nomads as if they would know how to allocate their windfall wealth to further the welfare of their own people and the people of the world. They have demonstrated for more than 70 years that they only know how to consume it in the form of purple furs, gilded Cadillacs, and endowments that support the construction and operation of marbled centers of hate and tribal conquest throughout the world. I say let them fitna themselves off the planet. It will save us the trouble of having to do it ourselves.
Sounds more like an excuse for the Saudi-born and otherwise Saudi-financed jihaddis to flee the Coalition forces, Iraqi army and civilians who don't appreciate having jihad inflicted upon them.
waterdragon52-
My thoughts exactly.
Like the old Aesop story of the thing you cannot attain suddenly being declared 'sour'. Something in the vine family, I think.
And simultaneously finding a convincing excuse to beat a retreat by saying you're going on an ever better jihad next door.
Let the Saudi see how it feels to defend themselves against their own spawn.
Maybe then they'll want their women to have driver's licenses- if only to help drive the extra Mercedes' to safety in Egypt.
Good! Let the savages kill each other. With Allah's blessing.
As long as they don't get their filthy hands and bombs on the oil fields, who cares? The Saudis deserve to savor a big mouthful of the scourge they have unleashed on the world via their temples of abomination and the savage jihadists spawned in them. Of course the world, the U.S. included, must bear some of the blame for allowing these retrograde primates to immigrate and build their hostile, insurgent communities right under our noses.
The arrogant, deceitful, duplicitous, "royal" Bedouins should know better than anyone that Islamic fanatics cannot be placated or appeased. They have lavishly exported their second largest commodity, Wahabi malevolence and hatred, but they keep plenty for themselves and production never ceases.
The downfall of the kingdom is inevitable but it would be catastrophic for the lunatic jihadists to seize control of or to destroy the oilfields. I trust we won't let that happen but if left up to the U.N. to defend them, who knows.
