The situation is beginning to look futile. I'm reminded of the battle with the Borg (Startrek) where "resistance is futile".

In my opinion the problem starts and stops with religion and religious identity.

The Jews cling to theirs.
Christians to theirs
Muslims to theirs
and all three are mutually exclusive, and thus inherently hostile to each other.

And thus we have a battle for god, until there is no one left standing, or until the opposition is ELIMINATED.

Does Judaism and Christianity have the cohesion the unity that Islam has? Can Judaism or Christianity muster the fanaticism and willingness to sacrifice and die that Islam can and does?

And who controls the lifeblood of the Judeo Christian world (oil)? The Muslims that's who.

It is this godless heathens opinion, that until the worlds religions are debunked publicly (they have already been debunked by scholars of history and linquistics). And the easiest place to start is with the Abrahamic myth (the work has already been done).

The only alternative is a process of escalating self immolation, which will eventually erupt like a volcano.

Mutually exclusive ideologies cannot co exist.

And of the three ideologies (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) Islam is not only the most cohesive, and doctrinaire but it is by it's very nature the most fecund, and in population wars fecundity wins out every time.

Ideology is nothing more than a social control technique. And like it or not all religion is ideology, and of all the religions on earth Islam is the most concise, all inclusive, effective social control ideology.

The Sunni, Shi'a, Sufi, Alawite, etc divide is nothing when it comes to uniting against the unbeliever.

Like the Arab saying "I against my brother, I and my brothers against my cousin, I my brothers and my cousins against the stranger".

They will unite against dar al Harb, the unbeliever, then when that business is done, sort it out amongst themselves.

Giaour, you are a nihilist. You don't have to be a religious fanatic or even religious to know that not all ideas are equal. You may fool yourself, but you have ideas and ideology dripping from your keyboard. Unfortunaltely, you have picked up some depressed and defeatist ideas. Your type will not stand up to Islamism. To my mind, Islamists have an unfortunate set of backward and stifling values. I prefer to fight for individual dignity and worth, freedom and pluralism.

By the way, Judiasm does not seek converts at all and Christianity has not forced conversions or punished apostates for hundreds of years. Actually, Christianity is growing faster than Islam and secularism (hopefully not nihilism) faster still.

If I had the time and spare shekels, I'd fly to Jerusalem, buy a can of day-glo orange, shake it well, and add the "sucks" myself.

The Jews and Christians finally stopped their Old Testament approved (Numbers, Deuteronomy) cruelties (BTW- how the Old Testament ever got into Christianity is a mystery to me, since Jesus was the antithesis of most of it, although he cleverly called himself the "fulfillment of it"), and only their extreme 'fundamentalist' types get as zapped in the head over The Faith as the mainstream Muslims seem to always be ---about their divine right to kill for chapter and verse.

So I'll gladly join hands with the "other Abrahamists", and Taoists, Hindus, Buddhists, Shintoists, Aboriginal Dream Timers, etc. in the fight against the tyranny of Islamic extremism.

While this vandalism is a travesty today, it is ultimately of no importance in the long run. Bottom line is, God's name is Jehovah, not a pagan moon-god named Allah. The Creator exists outside of any space-time continuum, as opposed to Allah (SATAN!!) who was a created being.
